Let me start off by saying that this restaurant was extremely busy! As we pulled in the parking lot, I was afraid to hear that the wait would be more than 30 minutes but to my surprise, we were sat right in, no wait at all... Big plus! Our waitress, Victoria was AMAZING! Our drink order and appetizers were in right away. She came to check up on us several times while we waited for our food, which didn't take long at all. The place continued to fill up but the service and atmosphere did not change. Dinner was terrific! Service was AMAZING! As we were getting ready for our check, Victoria advised us that a previous customer had a coupon they didn't need or used and she applies it to our bill. That was extremely nice of her. We were all very satisfied with our meals and service. Definitely Recommend!!! :)

Went to Olive Garden today to check out the all you could eat breadsticks, salad and soup for $5.99! We started out with the Pizzaiola flatbread crammed full with sausage, peppers, pepperoni with four different cheeses and marinara sauce on a crisp flatbread that was very good! Then we had their hand tossed famous Olive Garden salad that is always fresh, good and topped with that great Olive Garden dressing! Our soups were ( my favorite) Zuppa Toscana which is an amazing medley of sausage, potatoes and kale with spicy seasoning in a creamy soup! The other soup was the chicken gnocchi soup with handmade gnocchi in a delicious creamy soup! I Also had their limoncello Long Island tea that was very strong and flavorful!! Great staff as well with our waitress Kelly and bartender Rebecca!!

Had a great experience here last night. My husband and I were craving Italian food so we decided to visit this location. Our server greeted us each with a sample of wine. The only major downside in my opinion is deciding what to order. There are so many appealing choices on their menu. I was torn between going with a classic dish or something on their seasonal menu. I ended up with the classic lasagna while my husband went with the chicken alfredo. My only complaint about this visit was that the main dishes came out right on top of the soup and salad. No biggie, we thoroughly enjoyed everything, and aside from the timing, service was very good. We will definitely re-visit this location.

Great place, they have gotten a lot better since my last review. Waiters and waitresses are lovely. My husband orders and loves Chicken marsala it's very flavorful and between the never ending soup and salad he is always full and happy. Their Gnocci soup is to die for and very creamy. I ordered steak gorgonzola alfredo and the steak was juicy and perfect. Their Cabernet is delightful and they usually have samples. You gotta try it.

I received a gift card for Darden resturant so my girlfriend and I decided to go to Olive Garden for an early dinner. The parking space is not big but I managed to score a parking spot right upfront. The restaurant was pretty bussy. We walked in but there was no one upfront to sit us. We waited and finally we were seated. Our waitress Patricia a much older woman quickly came up to our table. No soon as she introduce her self I knew she hated her job. I though ugh here comes some bad service! We decided on the special 2 entrees and 2 dessert for $25. I got the Tuscany 3 meat fetucini and my girlfriend ordered the creamy chicken firenzy. We got our salads very quickly. Patricia gave my girlfriend her plate for the salad then she placed my plate down but my plate was dirty! She didn't even noticed! We told her and she looked annoyed! She snatched it away and went to get a clean one. No apologies no nothing! I was appalled. The Salad was soggy it had too much dressing and it only had like 2 tomatoes, 2 olives, 3 peppers and a few croutons. It looked like they count what they put in. Nonetheless we ate our salads. Patricia never came by to see how things were. We then get our meals she plops them on our table. My girlfriend starts to eat her food and my food didn't seem right. Our waitress had taken off so I stopped another waitress I didn't get her name but she was pregnant. She told me I got the wrong plate. She kept apologizing and took the plate. Mind you our waitress Patricia was um I dont even know where. So finally we see our waitress and she looks annoyed again. They realized I got someone else's plate! The pregnant woman (who was sooooooooooo super nice and helpful) brought the dish I had ordered she apologized again. My girlfriends plate was pretty good. My plate was sooooooooooo spicy that I was sweating. I was so annoyed at this point. Then here comes Patricia trying to apologize about the mix up but you can tell she could careless she was blaming other people for the mistake telling us she does what they tell her which sounded stupid since it's her table she is serving. We ordered our dessert 2 dolcini dark chocolate caramel. We took those to go, my stomach was hurting at that point. The waitress Patricia was telling us it was a bad choice because it's not good. I finally said it is what WE want. At that point I wanted out. Oh ya at the beginning when we sat down she ask were we were from and we said locals.. her response "oh let me guess Davenport!" But in a nasty sarcastic way! I felt insulted and that's why she treated us in such a bad manner. It was the worst service ever! I was so upset I didn't want to leave her a tip! But my girlfriend told me to leave something so I left $2 for the crummy customer service! I did want to thank the pregnant server she was super nice and helpful! Yup won't visit this Olive Garden again! Won't recommend it either!

Basically the whole experience was not good. I ordered the appetizer trio. The ravioli was overcooked and dry. The calamari was chewy but the stuffed mushrooms were okay. The eggplant parmigian was non descript. It was like mush. The service was better than the food.

Great place the free salad is good, the mushroom ravioli with smoked cheese is to die for. My husband loves the new chicken sandwich on the breadstick roll. He said order 2 one is too small. The fries wete delicious.

After being put in an unattended section by a spacey hostess who didn't seem to know what she was doing or how to communicate simple directions, our visit was turned completely around by a friendly waiter, Charlie. After we had been sitting for some time, he asked if anyone had been to our table, and when he found out we were unattended, he took our drink orders right away and then went to ask the hostess about us. He ended up taking our table, which was the best thing that could have happened to us. He gave us fast, friendly service, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our entire meal. Charlie made this experience fantastic and left a great impression on behalf of this Olive Garden location.

It's one of the busiest Olive Gardens in the area since it's the only one on this side of I-4 and on the edge of the touristy areas. I've done ToGo orders with them frequently lately (since I managed to snag a Never Ending Pasta Pass) and the service has always been great! The food is usually ready around the time that they say it'll be and everything's packed nicely. The wait times can get pretty high since, as previously said, it's the only one in the area in a high tourist location (where a good amount of visitors first language isn't English).

Popular place like all Olive Gardens but we love pasta. Couldn't decide if the plate was busy cause it was located by Disney world or just great place to go eat. Either way our waitress was not very friendly an a bit rude.

They must have been surprised by a lunch rush on a Sunday afternoon, more than half the dining room was empty, and we were quoted a 15 to 20 minute wait at the host's stand. Perhaps they didn't have enough servers on. We said we would prefer to sit at the bar, rather than wait for a table. And the young lady at the host stand said (so unprofessional I'll never forget it) "Well, the bartender is really busy right now, so you probably won't get great service. " ....Did we just get told at the door that we could not expect great service? ??? Wow. The bartender was quite busy, but our service was just fine. And the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Slightly under seasoned, but no biggie. The bartender did accidentally put a rotten strawberry on my sangria, so they should probably watch that....but overall we had a lovely quiet tasty lunch.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews, because I enjoyed my meal here. I think what made the meal was my waiter. I wish I caught his name, but he was very friendly and attentive. I was in Orlando for the Disney half marathon, so I was carbo loading at this lunch. It is nice being able to get the bread sticks without the garlic topping to avoid some fat. This ensures that the bread sticks are fresh, since they have to grab them before putting the topping on. Warm bread sticks are delicious. I got the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. It was pretty big and I had to power through to finish. It was probably the best meal I could have eaten before the half marathon. Overall I enjoyed my meal and found nothing wrong.

"Hit and Miss" is the way to describe this Olive Garden. I think that operating a popular chain restaurant must be very difficult. Everyone has expectations of what they should receive based on their local locations. Similar to Cherry Coke and readily available, inexpensive liquor, Canucks like me no longer have Olive Garden's, so I wasn't jaded by my local experiences. During my Disney vacation, my family and I ate here twice. The first time was great. The service was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that we had a nice meal. The second time, we had the exact same waitress, with a slightly different experience. The only thing that had changed was the time. It was much busier when we were dining the second time. After realizing this, we could see it painted across the entire staff, not just our waitress. Last time, our food was hot, fresh and tasty. This time, our food had obviously been left in the window for a good portion of the time we waited. Looking through other reviews of this Olive Garden location, I bet the "hit and miss" nature of their content can be associated both with the times that people visit the restaurant and how busy the location is.

As a Italian person I can say this place is far from authentic. This review is for all olive gardens. Not just this location. I find if you do a survey. More woman will say they like Olive Garden over men. And when they say the reason " it's the salad". That should say it all. If your looking for a good salad maybe come here. But if you want real Italian food this is not the place. The only thing I enjoy about Olive Garden is the the chocolate Andes mint they give with the bill. And god forbid they actually give you a few extra. Good luck with that!! 0 stars for Italian food.

Go early. Lines begin forming around 6pm. Consistently over the years this OG delivers to high standards yet they are busy. Excellent Salads & seafood lasagna yummy. Michael & others provide excellent service. I'm gonna put on weight but cannot resist returning often.

Ahhhhhh. I love my little Olive Garden. It's so nice to have restaurant right across the street from work where you can just hop on in and get the yummy soup, salad and bread stick lunch for $6.99. This particular location has never disappointed me in service. They always have great wait staff and they are speedy and accurate. I come here often enough so they already know my soup choice (for shame) so i just sit down and they bring me stuff and it's exactly what i need when i have that 90min lunch Mondays at work (split shift). I will come back often and i will recommend this location over any other because the decor is nice and the staff is consistent and not ever changing. Bravissimmo!!!! BTW, it's all about the Chicken Gnocci Soup!!!!!

I went to this Olive Garden with my family during the 2nd month it opened. The door greeters seated us and it was about 5:30pm with very few diners seated. Our waiter came by and took our drinks and it was down hill from there. Our waiter disappeared. Another waiter brought our food and a second one took our order. Our drinks (first round waters) had to be brought out by a manager after several times asking different waiters passing by. From being seated to getting our drinks it took about 15 mins, then another 15 for food order. I was with my young children, so we decided to stay. BIG MISTAKE. After our food came out at different times (after reminding waiters of our food), though we were told our wait was due to it all coming at the same time. Lie after lie, bungle after bungle. It took about 45 mins total from asking for the check to leaving. I and my husband have served in the service industry and this was unacceptable. We left 10% tip and complained to the manager. He offered a 20 dollar voucher on another meal. I told him nicely he could keep the voucher, we were never coming back. I told him if he ever found our waiter he may want to re-train him. Also having some one pass the table to update the diner really goes a long way. I know of several people who work around the area that have told me they have had medium to low service at this Kissimmee Olive Garden. Your better off at the Ale House across the street. If you have to eat at Olive Garden I would avoid this one!

Great food and even better staff. Everyone made sure we were welcomed and the manager Sam gave us complimentary deserts.... Way to go it mad our day.

Had an amazing lunch today! Ordered the Bruschetta & Endless pasta and meat balls. We were seated immediately and the place was very clean. Our service was second to none, our waiter, Anh was probably one of the top ten servers we ever had. Great place to eat!

Great Service, Great Food! Better than any of the other Olive Gardens I have gone to. The standards are way up there. Waitress was friendly, and always made sure to come by to make sure our drinks were filled and the food tasted great.

Is there a spot for negative stars?! I am going to have to say this is some of the worst service I have ever experienced... Even from a mega chain. This area of town is geared to the tourists, so you don't expect much... However, you also don't expect to sit down at 6:45 and not have the check brought to you until 8:30. The server (I am really, really, really hoping it was like his first day or something) was out there in la la land somewhere. He asked if we wanted our Arnold Palmer in two glasses or if he was to mix the lemonade and ice tea together.... He offered me a wine sample, I declined because I was one of the DD's that night, and said I would like a glass of water instead. He told me to hold on a second, proceeded to walk to an empty table to put his tray on, and then come back with pen and paper "what can I get you to drink? Did you say water?" Really dude? Really?! 10 minutes later our drinks came (after the wine that was ordered by the non-drivers)....well most of our drinks anyways.... The Arnold Palmer was wrong (had to explain it to another server that we didn't want it made with peach tea...she was equally as puzzled-do they not serve these on the east coast or something?!??) We were missing two waters, and a beer. The salad came a couple minutes later... at 15 minutes for the beer (after asking for it twice) my brother in law finally got his sam adams....warm, clearly because it had sat in the bar well for nearly 20 minutes waiting to be dropped at the table.. Took 25 minutes for the apps to come... they apparently had to wait for one of the three to be finished... you can tell because 2 of the plates were burning hot from sitting in the window, and one of the dipping sauces had separated from the heat....while the 3rd plate was totally cool to the touch. An hour and fifteen minutes after sitting down our food finally arrived at the table...weeellllll.... almost all of it.... My sister in law apparently was not given permission to eat that night because her pasta was MIA..... Sigh..... To top it all off our server kept reaching over me to clear my side of the table... his armpit smack dab in the middle of my face.... gross enough on its own... but this man apparently has never found the deodorant aisle of the grocery store.... And with all that when the bill was paid, our server simply walked away... No "Thank you", No "Come again", No "We appreciate your patience, No "Hey, sorry I'm a shitty server and you now only have 45 minutes to get to your evening plans"...Nothing.... I mean, it's Olive Garden.....But SERIOUSLY?!?! This was ridiculous. I would say I would never be back to this place again, but I probably won't regardless of the service.. I mean I was just one of those tourists staying in the area. I assume that is what they are banking on here.. that this is not where the locals go because the locals avoid the area, so who cares if we give good, or hell even remotely close to decent service... these people are on a plane home in a couple of days anyways.....

My family and I had dinner here last week during our vacation. This is a newer Olive Garden, and the dining area is very open and expansive. Our waitress was very pleasant. The house wine was delicious, and my mother and I both opted for the glass and a half option. As always, the breadsticks and salad were great. I loved my chicken parm. It was crispy and cheesy, and I had enough left over for lunch the following day. It's relatively inexpensive, and pretty casual. Love it!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
