I hadn't been to an Olive Garden in years and years and years. Really! Its been at least five. I needed some pre-race carbs and we were staying across the street so we came for dinner. I must say I was pretty surprised at the EXCELLENT service that was provided, I never expected such a nice touch in a chain. Maybe I am just really jaded from Miami crappy service? Either way, service was great. The manager came by after our meal and we chatted a bit about my dish, which was by the way surprisingly amazing. It was Short Rib and Torteloni with a Marsala Sauce, yes a tad too heavy for a pre-race meal but delicious nonetheless. You really can't go wrong here, they are really making some good food, and although I never would have thought it would be, is definitely back on my radar for places to eat.

Come here after visiting Universal Studios an hour before closing. It was still really busy at the time. We all wanted the unlimited pasta bowl... Always a great steal of a deal. The service was ok. We had a waitress who seemed to be having a bad day and was super friendly but we got her to warm up to us or nit was the fact that she was about to get off work. Service was slow though. We got our bread and salad immediately but our entrees took a long time to make its way to our table. She did, however, come by to check up on us a few times in between so we weren't completely neglected. All in all it was a good experience especially since they took the effort to sing (in a humorous way) my sister "happy birthday".

Love the food here.. But the service could use some help. The waitress we had made me feel rushed from start to finish. That said, we will definitely be back because the food is awesome!

They seated our family of 13 in a private room. We had 6 kids and the staff was very attentive. After a day at Disney, we were starving and scarfed down the salad and breadsticks like it was our last. They set the bar very high for the family, and I hope our local one can hit testament level!

Food was good as it is at most Olive Gardens', no complaints there, but service was awful. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes without anyone saying anything to us (even though the girl who ended up being our server talked to the people at the table next to us and went to get them more salad without even adknowledging us for several more minutes) and it took forever to get our food as well, even though we ordered the ready-made soup and salad lunch.

This experience is textbook what a good "corporate restaurant" experience needs to be like. The seating process is efficient and they are fairly accurate with the wait time, in our case they said 10 minute wait and we were seated in 8 minutes. The waitress comes by and offers a "free" wine tasting...most people will take the the free wine and then order a glass out of guilt.... good touch. Waitress knows the menu well and offers suggestions towards the more pricey dishes...with a smile, she almost got us there. I'm not saying that we are too "savvy" to fall for these traps, but rather observant and analytical, plus we were here strictly to carbo load for next day's adventure and with a limited budget so we were not the right customers for this. The unlimited salad and bread is fantastic, don't be afraid to ask for more ...it is unlimited but they won't volunteer extra portions. We had to some pretty good pasta dishes and the prices were good, we ended up taking half of the food with us, mostly because we ate so much salad, which is not a bad deal. More failed menu up sell attempts later and we made it out there without spending a fortune, but we were quite amused watching the tables around us fall for the offers, more wine, extra desert, coffee... well done !

So, I know its Olive Garden.... We ventured in here for dinner because we wanted to go some place that we had not been in a very long time and now we know why. The server started with an attitude although I was able to bring her out of her funk by the end of dinner which took a very long time (which isn't so pleasant with a hungry 8 year old). She wasn't incredibly attentive and I annoyed by my soup and salad order. What? She might have to go back and get me another bowl of soup or salad? She might have to work a little? Crazy! Long story short, for 3 people (one a kid, who can definitely eat) it cost us over $50. Next time I go here, its going to be for the endless pasta bowl, and I'm going to bring all three of us, eat for 36 bucks and going to make sure I get the same server who can run back and forth while my eight year old eats her share! lol. We are definitely NOT a quantity over quality family, but we'll be back just for that laugh.

We called while on the way because we had a large group of thirteen. The person who answered said they dont have call ahead service, but the wait was only ten minutes. We arrived within 5 minutes, and the hostess gave us the pager with a 40 minute wait time. When i told her we just called, she gave us quite the attitude and said, "I dont know who you talked to, but we fill up fast and the wait is 40 minutes." Getting past her attitude, we were finally seated in an extra room and assigned two waiters. These guys busted tail for us, and they deserve a pat on the back. I couldn't pronounce their names, let alone spell them here, just know our servers were excellent. Typical Olive Garden fare here with the awesome all you can eat salad. Everyones dinners were delicious. We had to ask them to shut down the a/c as it was like a meat locker in this room. They took care of that as well. We were very happy with our dinner and will return when looking for some decent Italian fare.

Mediocre at best. Disappointing food however portion sizes quite large so difficult to have starters and mains.

Sad to say, but this is one of the better places to eat for the price in this area. I had fettuccine Alfredo with sausage and it was $8. The world class resort up the street charged me $25 for a dried our burger with scarce condiments. Problem is getting to the place. If you have a vehicle and want a decent meal it's worth the drive.

On the last day of our stay in Florida we decided to go to Olive Garden. I had never been to one before but my girlfriend had and she highly recommended the place. We were there for lunch around 3p.m or so and we were seated righted away. The place had a lot of people and the restauraunt itself was nicely laid out and decorated. The hostess, our waiter and the manager were all friendly. The manager later passed by if everything was okay, which was good.If you go to Olive Garden you must get the Mango -Strawberry Limonata. We ordered about 2 each, it was that good. Every time I would take a sip I would say ahh, sometimes without even noticing, it would be my girlfriend that would point it out. Moving on to the food, that was really good as well. Before any of the orders were served the waiter brought out warm bread and a huge salad bowl with freshly grated parmesan cheese. After we finished the salad and the bread, our appetizers came out and we really liked the stuffed mushrooms with the clam meat. As for the entrees, I can't remember the names of them but they were both really delicious and filling. As for the dessert, we had no room for any more food. Knowing how good the food is even for a chain resteraunt that Olive Garden is, I will still be going back to it here in New York.

We recently went on vacation last week and Olive Garden was our first choice for dinner since it was across the street from our resort. We had very disappointing service. There were two waiters weighing it out to see who was suppose to serve us. Then our food didn't come out till about an hour later because our waiter forgot to place one of my kid's order in. The food was just okay because some of our dish were sitting out in the kitchen for a while waiting for the other dish. Overall I prefer my local Olive Garden over this one. I wouldn't go again for the disappointing servce! :(

Was able to get seated at this Olive Garden fairly quickly (30 min) on a Sunday. All the other places in the area were WAY TOO BUSY. We ordered some samplers for appetizers. The chicken tender was moist and lightly breaded. Sangria was delicious. I ordered the herb grilled salmon and broccoli. Healthy for sure. I had to add some cheese on top to give my broccoli a little flavor. Service was decent as I needed my water filled a few times and also I needed my order delayed a little.

Stopped here before heading back to Miami. The service was good, a bit slow but the waitress was very friendly! Not sure why all or most Olive Gardens smell weird, maybe it's the old wood scent? The pasta alfredo was DELICIOUS and their bruschetta was very fresh and great!

The Olive Garden here is a three, but serive moved it up to four. The restaurant when entering smelt like chuck-E-cheese, (a kids place) and we got grossed out. Touched it out, and had a pleasant service from our server forgot her name!! Decent food and great family time!

This Olive Garden is a GEM! The food is Olive Garden. The decor is Olive Garden. The salad and breadsticks are, of course Olive Garden. What is different about this location is the staff. They are extremely well trained and friendly. I have found that they follow customer direction without hesitation. They bring your food out on time with a smile and " is there anything else I can bring you". Do you have to wait for a table? Sometimes. But at this Olive Garden it's worth the wait. Check out the manager, Maynard. These five stars are his doing.

The food here is classic, everyone loves a little Olive Garden. It's nothing that is over the top but definitely still good for the price. Although we ordered Calamari it was very crumbly and we were just left with the fried pieces. My favorite was my friends entree, braised beef tortellini!

Enjoy unlimited soup!!! Service was descent. Took forever though. The server came gave menu; came back got drink order; came back with drinks; came back to take food orders...and we are ready to order even before we sat down. He just didn't want to take the time to listen to his customers. Anyhow...besides service; food wasn't too bad.

Our waitress was a woman named Casey. She was VERY nice and she got everything right. I visited this restaurant about 20 mins before closing, but they still let me and my family come in! She had like two other guys helping her with serving our food. And I definitely had to give her a great big tip, she sincerely thanked me for it! I would recommend to anyone passing by! She's very funny!

Temperature of restaurant= broiling Server= rolled eyes Food= mediocre at best Dinner for 3= Over $50. Speaking to the manager tomorrow, but not much can be said that will make me ever want to return to this particular Olive Garden. Instead of a pleasant dining experience, it was a meal to be dealt with quickly so we could get out!

Wasn't expecting an Italian restaurant in Orlando to offer such good authentic Italian cuisine. The food is stunning. We ordered too much food as usual but all of us were happy with what we ordered. It's worth looking at the specials list as most of our order came from that. Would highly recommend it!

AS A CANADIAN: we always see ads for this place and HAD to check it out. we knew it wouldn't be like the commercials, but dammnit american advertising - you got us. portions were HUGE, greasy, copious amounts of cheese and salt on everything. service was amazing (as always in the U.S. of A). the manager freaked out when he found out we were from the North. if you have an average appetite, i would suggest ordering just one entree and splitting it. the unltd breadsticks and salad are like a meal on their own - oh and get the dipping sauce! taste is below boston pizza, pizza delight, and pizza hut standards (if you need a Canadian comparison).

Always great food but this Olive Garden had excellent servers which gave us plenty of attention and the price is always great. They have a new kiosk order and pay system that I hope catches on at other states

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
