I had the shredded beef,it was pretty good a little salty and it came with rice an black beans, my beans had no beans just bean juice. If you like beans with no beans then it's for you. The sweet tea was made by the cup and was not sweet because all the sugar was at the bottom. The service was TERRIBLE! He spent more time cleaning the place then giving us service. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant and it took forever for him to take our order. I would not recommend this place.

After a long day in the parks, we had a craving for some authentic cuban food when we came across this restaurant. Well when we arrived there was only one other table occupied. We were seated and forgotten. When the older gentleman came over he welcomed us and suggested the days special, which was "fichase de cerdo" when we declined he seemed upset and preceded to insist so we agreed to a small sample. After sampling the dish we declined. From that moment on we were attended by a different server I ordered a steak with onions, rice and black beans and my wife ordered the same except she asked for the red beans. After a few minutes the server returned to advice us that They were out of red beans. Anyway to make it short.... Even with an empty restaurant it took almost 40 minutes to receive our meals. While we waited I told my wife at least we're going to get a hot fresh dish. But I spoke too soon. The food arrived and to my dismay the food was at best a little warmer than room temperature. And btw my steak literally had 4 tiny strands of onions. I preceded to get the attention of the server (remember the place was practically empty) after a few attempts and told him the dish was too cold for me and if he would microwave it for me. He did and when it came back it was still Luke warm. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I order a latte at the end, to which I give the 2 stars to. It too was only warm. In summary I wouldn't recommend this place. I left disappointed with an unsatisfied taste for some authentic cuban cuisine.

Great food. Their empanadas were amazing!!! Friendly people too! I was told to try a drink called a malta by the waiter that took our order. I didn't like it, so he said it was on the house. He offered other drink choices, but I just got an iced tea. Their salad was very good.

Tasty Cuban food, big portions. We were on our way back to our Disney resort and my wife wanted a pizza. I didn't really feel like having pizza, but lucky for us Havana Kiss is a few businesses down from the Pizza Hut on 192. I wanted a good Cuban sampler to take back to the room, so I ordered the Montuno Havanero. I also ordered some plantains and an empanada (beef was the only choice). We arrived at around 2 in the afternoon and I had to wait for only 20 minutes for the food. Luckily, my wife's pizza was done at the same time. My total came to about $22. It was a bit more than I was expecting to spend, but the food was very good. My teenage daughter and I tried the plantains and empanada. My daughter did not care for the thicker-cut empanadas, but I thought they were good. They did need some type of sauce with them, though. The empanada was huge and tasty. My daughter took the empanada away from me right away and she was happy having that for a meal. I enjoyed my entree. I had 3-4 pieces of fried pork, and the meat was delicious. It went well with the tasty Yuca. The tamal that came with the meal was a larger tamale than I am used to in Houston. It was mostly cornmeal, and probably 2 inches in diameter. Big and delicious. The moro rice consisted of black beans mixed with rice, and it was very tasty as well. I was not served any sauces with my to-go order, but I did see some in the online photos. You might want to ask for some if you get a to-go order. Overall, a good, delicious meal, and I will return for more.

Server was super nice, BUT IT ISN'T AUTHENTIC! The portions are small. Chimichuri sauce made with balsamic vinegar. Chicharron de pollo were chicken tenders....enough said.

The food was good, but the service at the beginning was slow, I say at the begining because I was eating and they gave me the bill without asking me if I want coffee or desert, I was thinking to drink a Cuban coffee but after that I just paid and leave... The 3 start is just for the food, disappointed

This restaurant is a ripe off and the food was not good. We have been to many different Latin cultural restaurants including Cuban. This has been totally the worst experience..the price for the sandwiches are nearly $10 no meat and bread was old. Beans were from the can and then not seasoned at all. Really sad example of Cuban inspired food... Don't waste your time or money.

Waitress was nice but food was mediocre. I had the house special. They call it ropa vieja but it's prepared different. Looks and taste more like beef stew. Really disappointed with this place.

It was a good lunch. Prior to ordering the waiter provide warm garlic bread. It was very good. Then I had a croquette which was also very good. The pan con bistec was ok, the meat was a bit tough but still nicely seasoned. After all that I couldn't resist a chicken empanada. That was really tasty. Overall if you are near Fun Spot, try this little restaurant.

Prior to Havana Kiss, my Cuban food experience is limited to one other time so take my review with a grain of salt. It was a drive to get here. We were staying in Winter Garden but a friend with more Latin American/Caribbean food experience recommended and we obliged. Havana Kiss isn't impressive from the outside. In fact I found myself questioning our decision immediately just based on appearance. Once you walk in, however, the staff are immediately inviting. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He had a great sense of humor and was very helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and the prices were reasonable. I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The food was amazing. Again, I can only report what my taste buds told me so I cannot comment on the authenticity of the food. I had a sampler plate with fried lechon. The fry around the pork was perfect and crunchy -- it provided great textural difference against the other food in the platter. At first I thought the pork was a little bland but the key was eating the onions and the pork together! After I did that, the combination was irresistible! Another dish worth mentioning was the fried plantains. They came out potato chip thin and topped with copious amounts of garlic. The taste of the plantain was subtle but surprisingly, the garlic was not overpowering despite how much of it was there. The thing that brought Havana Kiss down to a 4 star was the service charge. We were a party of 4 and I believe it is far from standard to autograt a party of this size. It wasn't that big of a deal but it definitely cheated the server out of a little extra tip (from me anyway).

Food was mediocre. The garlic chicken was not very good. It's like they just grilled it and sprinkled bottled minced garlic on top and served it. Service was okay. I don't like the 18% gratuity for 6 people, in other restaurants it's 8 people. We had 3 adults and 3 kids. The best thing we ate was empanadas but still wasn't great. I had the sirloin with chimmichurri sauce and it was blah. We are now looking for a place to kill the taste in our mouths.

This place is fantastic. Was visiting from out of town, this was the best place around. Delicious! Only down side is that I can't eat here more often.

On vacation and dying to have some real Cuban food.....we'll let me tell you! We were on our way back to the hotel...kids we're sleeping ....decided to call ahead to order food.... We had about 20 mins before we got there (per GPS :)) so I called.... Well! Idk if maybe it's the Floridian Aid back mindset or what but .....a guy answered I stated hi id like to place an order...he said can u call back I'm busy on the computer...call in 5 mins!?!? Wtf! Who runs a business like that! Do you NOT know there are a million places to eat and you just totally blew me off! and we are a party of 6! We were going to AT LEAST drop 100$ easy ...but no.....too busy on the computer?! I laughed 15 mins later when my phone rang as we drove right passed them and saw the place was COMPLETLY empty!!!!!!!!

The food in this place is amazing. My mouth was heaven from the first spoon to the last. Coffee was great. Dessert had my mouth watering. He takes a lot of pride in what he does. Definitely a place to visit

Ate here a few times for lunch while in town on business. Food was decent, had a Cuban sandwich and a steak sandwich steak was tough, the Cuban was good. The big thing was while it was not busy either time, I had to get their attention to get a refill of water... I was the only one in there. Better places elsewhere I'm sure.

Food was good but the service is horribly slow. The owner or manager whom ever the older man that was behind the counter was rude and very beligerant to the customers and if anyone complained about how slow the service was he just told them to go ahead ahead and leave. The day I was there at least 20 customers walked out. Save the aggrevation and eat at any of the other fine establishments that are in the area

Food was good but nothing outstanding. Our favorite was the red snapper in garlic sauce. Did not give me any reasons to go back. The service was incredibly slow. Not worthy of $90 for a family of 5.

I am giving only two stars some things were good and others not so much. I am used to the Cuban food in Miami. I now live in NC and you can't find cuban food there so I was real excited to find a Cuban restaurant after a day at Disney. Ordered a Pepsi for my drink and they bring a can Pepsi. Not a fan of that you would think they would have fountain drink. The food wasn't bad. The waiter was nice but the atmosphere wasn't very friendly. Was a little pricey. 1 person and $25.00 later( pork chunks, black beans and rice, plantains , Pepsi and expresso). Some of the previous reviews weren't so good but figured I'd check for myself. Should have listened.

Given them three for effort. Ordered steak with Moro. The steak with lacking some flavor but the Moro was so dry and inedible. My kids ordered fries with fried chicken it was great. I was a bit disappointed however it seems a mom and pop restaurant and must give them credit.

Highly recommended! On every single item we had (ropa vieja combo plate & a tamal), my husband and I took a bite and looked at each other and said wow. The whole time. We were fighting over the crumbs.

STAY AWAY!!! The food was bad but the service was HORRIBLE!!! If I can do a 1/2 star on yelp I would. My group of 8 walked in and were the only ones there. There was not a single soul in the building yet there was no hello or greeting. After realizing we did not want to dine in but instead take-out and get on our way, we placed our orders and waited 45 minutes for our food for an order for 6 sandwiches. Let me start off by saying that there were at least 4 employees standing there staring at us in the most uncomfortable way. Also, not only did they make us feel uncomfortable, they put no effort in making the food look presentable. I ordered a steak sandwich and they basically gave me a brown paper bag with what looked like a "build your own sandwich" where they threw in all the material into the single bag. Bread was there, lettuce and tomatos thrown loosly in there, I'm sure the steak or some remnants of what would be steak was there. It was horrible. Once I opened that bag and saw that my $9 sandwich was a mess, I tossed the bag and went to a nearby dine in restaurant. Also, 2 others in my party were unhappy with their sandwhich and even found hair that was not theirs since he had no hair to begin with. DISGUSTING!!! If your in the area and looking for a good cuban eatery... KEEP LOOKING AND STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

I don't normally like to complain about any restaurant because I know how difficult a small business is to run, especially a restaurant where it is a difficult business and sometimes you don't have enough people working for various reasons. We came to visit the restaurant on the 4/16/2014 with the family. We've never been here and I visit Palm Bay quite a bit for business but because this was spring break for the kids, we decided to go as a family. When we arrived there were three full tables, probable about 8-9 people each. We walked in and no one seated us so we went ahead and seated ourselves. We waited while the one gentlemen was helping the larger tables and we waited patiently for about 15 minutes and no one came by. He continued to help the other tables and the one gentlemen did not even acknowledge we were even there. So my wife stood up and walked over to where the menus were located and brought it back to the table for us to view the menu and decided what we wanted. Now about 25 minutes had passed and still no one came by to stop even to acknowledge we were there, we decided to get up and leave. Not one person in the restaurant even came over to say they were sorry that the service was a bit slow for what ever reason. We found another cuban restaurant about 13 minutes away that we were happy with. I don't want to bad mouth this business and as I said above, I understand how difficult being short handed can be but I hope that someone does read this and take note, that if they would simply have acknowledged us at the table and let us know they would be with us in 5-10 minutes we would have gladly waited. I wish I could rate the food but I can't but I can say the service side needs a bit of help.

Clean restaurant, very tasty and authentic food, quick service and helpful staff. The price isn't too bad either. Definitely worth a try - I will be going back!

This restaurant got two stars more than it deserved only because the food was tasty. Nice server, but lunch turned into an hour wait after we ordered. Restaurant was only 25% full at best, but still had to wait. Two of our orders came out wrong, but we had waited too long to make a fuss. Little did we know that we would be charged the higher price for those dishes, even though it was their fault. Always check your bill! We were also charged for maduros, which we never got. A LONG wait. Overcharged by $6. (Which we got fixed!) Gratuity was already added. Bad experience overall. A shame...

Great place. Superb staff and ridiculously good food. Order the charred steak! I ate with the family after a long day at Disney and it was a perfect way to end the evening. Thanks Gustavo!

This was located across the street from my hotel and I was somewhat reluctant to try it because it always appeared to be empty. I had a Cuban sandwich and some black bean soup. The soup was very good but the sandwich was somewhat average.
