I like the one on 535, but this one was awful. The rice & beans tasted like it came out of a TV dinner. The fish tacos were bland and boring. The kids' macaroni & cheese was soupy, and spilling everywhere. The kids' milkshake was TINY, $3 for basically 3 sips, and icy, not creamy. The ambience is pretty dull here too. Yuck.

Had not hear of this chain before but it seemed like a fun place to eat. It had a nice decor and atmosphere. The menu has a light Caribbean / South of the Border twist. Since it was late lunch the place was empty. Our waitress was supper friendly and quick to take our orders for iced teas and two combo plates - fish tacos with fish chowder and the Cuban sandwich with black bean soup. After our iced teas were delivered and extra ice brought out to us 10 minutes later without us asking or it, our waitress vanished! Remember, the place was empty. Why we waited 30 minutes for our meals was not clear. We finally grabbed a cook has he walked by to see what happened to our food. He knew exactly what we ordered (why was I so surprised?) and our plates were delivered within a few minutes. Both meals were terrific. Soups while not very hot ( probably because they were sitting around for a while) were very tasty. We both really enjoyed the flavors of the Cuban sandwich. For a chain restaurant, they did a great job. We just found it strange that we later saw our waitress sorting silverware in the front of the house and she never came back to our table. We had to ask someone else walking back to the kitchen to deliver our check. Maybe that's the custom in Florida? If it wasn't for the incredibly slow service I would rate this 4 stars.

I've been here 2 times in the past few months and both visits were superb!!! The staff here was very nice, attentive, welcoming, professional, and shared their suggestions of what is best to try since it was my first here ever. The prices were reasonable too. In the late evening, they offer happy hour on some appetizers and drink specials. I thought this was a great deal. The menu is very diverse in terms of wonderful choices to make. I like the seafood pasta dish (sorry I forgot the name). It had scallops, fish, shrimp, clams, and some other good stuff. It was very delicious!!! I think there is something for everyone here in terms of choices. If you are looking to try something new or craving some fresh flavors, then this is the restarant for you.

I tove a good happy hour deal. We did the late night happy hour that started at 9 pm. You truly can't beat half off drinks and half of apps at this place. I got a mojito that tasted event more delicious for $3.50. For our meals, I got one of the rice bowls with shrimp and mahi mahi. The veggies were so fresh and the sauce was delicious. I did get the sauce on the side because I wasn't sure how I would like it but I'm so glad I did that. They give you WAY TOO much sauce even the waiter said the rice bowls are often drenched in sauce. It was overall a delicious nice and truly makes you feel like you are not at a chain restaurant. IT also goes to show you that 192 Kissimmee does have some good restaurants and you don't have to drive 25+ minutes for good food.

We were looking for a restaurant we don't have in our area at home. This was a good pick. The menu is very different from all the chain restaurants in the area and was much appreciated. We ordered the nachos and the lobster quesadilla as appetizers for our hungry group of 5. Both were excellent. Our entrees were all delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we are back in the area.

Our wait time at 5pm was nonexistent. Our server was Matthew and he provided excellent service. We'll be back.

We love happy hour specials. We have been there several times and have been pleased with the food, and service. The 4 stars is because of the LOUD music.

Ate dinner here tonight and oh my goodness...amazing! We had a party of 7 and were told our wait would be 45 minutes, however we were seated much sooner. Our server was was very attentive and had a wonderful personality! The first thing I noticed on the menu was the Lobster Mac and cheese which included a fried lobster tail and I was sold. I also ordered a house salad with the island vinaigrette with my meal. The salad was very fresh and the dressing was so flavorful! The croutons were also very tastes and seemed like they could have been made in house. The entree was so good I wanted to keep eating even after I felt disgustingly full. Seriously, the lobster...yum! It was fried to perfection and paired so well with the red pepper sauce they serve it with. The macaroni and cheese was also flavorful and I wish I could've eaten it all! This by far was the best meal I've eaten so far on my vacation. I ordered the chocolate pineapple upside down cake to go and am quite happy I did. Moist, chocolatey, and the fruit adds a nice touch! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our dishes were missing the Chimichurri sauce it was supposed to come with and one of our house salads were missing the pumpkin seeds that are supposed to come standard with the salad. I believe that food should come out of the kitchen with everything on the plate hat the menu states. Other than that this place is definitely worth trying!

I love Bahama Breeze, cuz the food is always consistently good. Thus , if you've been to one of their chains and you were fond of it, chances are you will be satisfied with the food at their other locations. We ordered jerk chicken and beef empanadas as starters and Buttermilk chicken and Tortilla soup. I've been to several Bahama Breezes all over the place and one thing I can say, no matter what location you're at, the food always taste the same. Which is a plus, because you always know what you're getting. This location our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, two characteristics I love in a server.

Not sure how this place has 4 stars Drinks weak and full of sugar Food super greasy Utensil and plates were all covered in what I hope we're water spots Food was underwhelming and my lobster quesadilla was all shrimp

Drinks took definitely more than 15 minutes, appetizers came out before the drinks. Got tostone appetizer and it looked like it just had cheese on them and they got out in a microwave. Was never asked if I wanted another drink. Not that busy and the waitress didn't come by enough to check on us or make more orders

Fun, tropical environment w/ plenty of outdoor seating. It was a bit cool the day we were here and the heaters were on. Several tropical drinks around $6-7. We ordered the conch fritters $5 and beef empanadas $10 to start. Both good, but smaller portions then I would have expected. For lunch - chicken curry rice bowl and combo of lobster quesadillas and seafood chowder $9. All adequate, nothing to brag about. Service was good and we were able to get a table right away.

I'd love to tell you about the food but we never got that far. I called ahead and was told that we'd have a table by 7:00 when we got there. Got there at 6:55. No table yet, no problem. We were told to grab a seat at the bar and they would alert us. Cool. 20 minutes later our beeper went off and we were excited to eat. The kids were starving. They walked us past four empty tables that would have been great for us before seating us next to the kitchen and bathrooms in something that was kind of like a booth, kind of like a table. When we asked for a different table they said that it would be a few minutes. At that point there were over a dozen tables open that would have worked. We were left once again at the bar for 30 minutes until I pulled the manager aside to let him know why we were leaving without spending any money. Tom, the manager, was noticeably embarrassed and this was clearly not the first time this had happened. He apologized and offered to get us a table there and then but, at that point, my wife was soured and my kids were cranky. We thanked him but declined. We won't be back under any circumstances. They ruined our night while we were on vacation. Not cool.

We hadn't been to Bahama Breeze in quite some time and decided to go l give it a try. Donovon our server made our experience here a great one. His service and energy was fantastic. Our food (black bean soup, plain tostonas and the mahi mahi / shrimp bowl) were amazing! Our mojitos were also delicious (lemon -ginger and mango - jalapeño; only get one jalapeño!). Overall, we will be back, sooner than later this time.

Service here is not very good. Our waitress Candice forgot our water 4 times! We had to ask her for water 3 different times in order for everyone to have water!! Our food was good except for the Salmon which the portion was very small. The drinks here are exceptional! I had a pina colada in a pineapple which was delicious!

Drink was delicious. Food was amazing. Fantastic service! Our waiter, Todd, came by time and time again to check on us to make sure that we didnt eat anything containing, cooked with or even cooked after nuts or seafood (allergies). Highlight of my week trip in Orlando!

What a fantastic establishment we were introduced to Kevin our server and from that moment on he couldn't do enough, the drinks he suggested were fantastic. I had steak with crab and it was beautifully cooked and everyone else at our party thought their dishes were fantastic as well. Kevin kept making sure we were ok and that our drinks were topped up and all of this was because the waiting time at another establishment was far too long and to be honest am glad it was otherwise we would never have stumbled across this place. Would definitely highly recommend

Bahama Breeze is usually a safe choice when you are driving around and want to get something to eat. Not my first choice, but def safe choice. My go to items on the menu are the seafood chowder, beef patties, their wings, goat cheese burger and cobb salad. Their drinks are tasty but they are not that strong, and are sweet and pretty looking more than anything, The service is usually on point, and this location is good for groups. There were a lot of parties seated in the restaurant. I have never had their desserts, but I keep eying that rum banana cake. The menu has a variety of items such as rice bowls, fish tacos, pasta, and sandwiches, so you should be able to find something that you like. The only thing that would make this place better than some of the other chains is if they offered bread or something before your meal, but the food does come out pretty fast.

Stopped in for a drink during HH- nice HH menu, includes a nice selection of appetizers too. The server was very nice and greeted me right away. I got the crab stack for an appetizer, spicy and delicious.

Shockingly good for a chain restaurant. Eating here was NOT my first choice - I can't begin to describe my suspicion at eating at a chain restaurant apparently devoted to providing Caribbean food for the American palate. But I was wrong - staggeringly, shockingly, completely wrong. We went as a party of 6 and EVERYONE was delighted with what they were served. I had the grilled grouper w/chimichurri on the side - flavorful and perfectly cooked. My son delighted in his Ahi poke served in a coconut shell...and even the coconut flesh was tasty. Some fish tacos, a lobster & shrimp quesadilla and a pair of 'fried stuff' combos rounded out our order. Even the coconut shrimp - a cringe inducing dish if there ever was one - was by far the best I've ever tasted. It wasn't greasy at all and the only sweetness came from the shrimp - the unsweetened coconut in the batter just lent a bit of nuttiness and umami to the batter. The service was perfect and the decor quite nice in a 'Tommy Bahama' kind of way. There was even plenty of parking - what's not to like?

We always stop at a Bahama Breeze when visiting the area. We had not eaten at this one before and knee we typically like the restaurant and don't have one at home. We were seated right away and our server was friendly and efficient. I had the Pina Colada deluxe and my husband had the Aruba Red (both inexpensive during happy hour). The Pina Colada was excellent, but the beer was mediocre ( it is an Anheiser Busch product). The coconut shrimp tacos were good, the Cesar Salad with grilled chicken was ok (the chicken tastes weird and had an odd texture - needless to say, I didn't eat the chicken). Overall, it was ok dinner and the prices were good as it was "Happy Hour". The atmosphere is fun and it can get loud. Overall, I would eat here again and try something different.

I like Bahama Breeze. As far as chains go their food is pretty good. I usually get one of their chicken salads and it's always good. Not at this location. The chicken on the salad was one of those previously frozen, salt glazed chicken breasts. This is a real pet peeve on my part. For a very busy restaurant in a resort area there is no reason to not serve fresh chicken. They also left the cheese off of the salad and I could not ask for it because our server disappeared.

We sat outside and were forgotten out there. We had to flag someone down to serve us. The mojitos were Awful!!! Too much simple syrup. They need to get the recipe from Bongos. I had the tilapia with Chimicurri sauce. So good.

Went on a whim tonight with the family. I was expecting something on the level of Applebee's, and boy was I wrong. The food absolutely blew my expectations. My mom ordered a black bean burger, which came with a sweet barbecue sauce that was extremely tasty. My brother and I ordered grilled chicken with a cilantro cream sauce. Absolutely the juiciest grilled chicken I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The sauce it came with was a nice complement to the seasoning on the chicken. Also the side was mashed potatoes with corn and cheese and it was an interesting and tasted good, although somewhat uninteresting. I might try a different side if I went again. Lastly, we finished with the rum cake, which came with ice cream on top. It was barely on the table for two minutes before the family had devoured it. The service was alright, and we didn't order any drinks, so I can't help you there. But all in all bahama breeze was well worth the visit and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

The food is amazing! Dishes have great flavor and are cooked perfectly. I was in a party of 5 and we all loved our dishes. Not one bite of food went to waste. The service was also great! 1. Mahi Shrimp w Lemon Grass - yum! 2. Key West Fish Tacos - out of this world. 3. Grilled Salmon and Mixed Greens on Tostado - absolutely delicious. 4. Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich - scrumptious.

So happy we decided to eat here rather than any of the other chains in this area! We had call ahead seating and sat within 15 minutes on a Saturday night! Our service was good and food was served promptly! Very impressed! This definitely helped with two little ones who can't sit or wait too long for anything. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Love a different style of food. Jerk chicken was great. Conch fritters excellent! Coconut shrimp works as a meal of you add a salad. Really enjoy this pace and miss it since its moved out of my local area.

Worst host stand ever - half empty restaurant and 30 minute wait for a table of 3. The most uninformed staff since they did not know why they were even on a wait, luckily the friendly margarita bartender outside saved us from leaving. She was able to have the manager seat us outside where the entire patio was empty. Hope the service improves from here!

Was just down in the Kissimmee area for about 2 weeks went to the Bahama Breeze in Kissimmee excellent service from Michelle the gm, Ricardo and one waitresses was there 3 times it was a great experience. Great food and alcohol all at at a great value. Ask for the nachos they are not on the menu.

Sorry for the bad review but the service tonight was extremely slow. Not sure if this is a regular thing but the waiter said the manager was helping the cook out tonight. I actually feel bad for the waiter. I recommend you ask up front if they are properly staffed before you decide to eat here. After submitting my review, Tim, the manager stopped by and took care of our ~$50 bill. I am changing from 2 to 4 star because at least he showed he knows his service was pretty slow.

I gave them one star only because my entree was good . However, the service was horrible. We sat for 15 minutes before I had to get up and ask if we had a server The manager came over and apologized but did not offer us any appetizer or anything. It is too bad because we had heard do much about it. There are too many other restaurants to choose from to go this one. Ed

I came in today to Bahamas Breeze after having an initial bad event here 3 weeks ago. Where I received the worst service ever. I will not throw anyone under the bus. Let me say this, the service was so horrible that the general manager comped our dinner and they provided me a gift card for $35.00. So this time we decided to try this place again and give it the benefit of the doubt, this time my mother and sister joined us. We did have a hesitation in coming back to this particular Bahama Breeze because of the last experience. We sat down pretty quick and were elated not to have the server we had last time. If we had received the same waiter, we would have asked to sit in some other section. He is the worst waiter I had ever had. No personality. Not personable. Just awful across the board. We did see him. We noticed his approach did not change from what we experienced and the service he was providing. We had a great waitress, Taylor. If that other waiter was garbage, she was in the other end of the spectrum. Taylor was very happy and perky. She was very knowledgable of the menu and was very attentive not just to our table but the tables around us. We ordered two orders of Firecracker Shrimp which was delicious and in my opinion, one of the best appetizers on the menu. As an entree I ordered the wood grill chicken with cinnamon mashed potatoes and rice - full portion. It was delicious. No complaints on my dish. After my meal I revealed to our waitress Taylor how wonderful we all thought of her and explained to her our past visit. She was surprised about it. She was grateful about how appreciative we were with her service. Taylor was a huge factor with us returning again in the future.

Very good food, the host was very nice, our waiter was Lee, he was wonderful. We were coming very tired and irritated after a meeting some place, and the service of these two people, brightened our day. Lee suggested a cocktail off the menu, it was awesome and food was very good too. We were impressed by the service and the food. I have been to two Bahama Breeze locations now and am impressed by both of them.

Great good, great drinks, great service. Not a bad pick for a chain! The fish tacos are delicious , and the portions are enough for 2. Lots of cocktails to pick from. Ide come back.

  • James L.

Really good and unique food. Generic is not the theme here. Say you order fish tacos, well your not getting your normal fish taco like anywhere else. BB tends to put their own twists on things and that's a good thing in this case. Prices are slightly high, but reasonable considering the quality of what you're paying for, but the depends on the day you go though. Dinner for 4 with 2 appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 drinks cam out to 115. So it's farely reasonable and far from disappointing.

My family and I were on vacation in Orlando and we decided to try out Bahama Breeze on the recommendation of my husband's brother in law. The restaurant has a fun tropical atmosphere. We went there around 1pm and were seated quickly even though we were a party of 11. Our waiter was a little too wacky for my liking and seemed to forget about us at times. He recommended some of their signature drinks which were just OK to me. We all ordered a variety of plates but the ones that stood out were the Coconut Shrimp and the Jerk Chicken wings. The shrimp and wings were full of flavor and were the favorites at our table. Overall the food was good and when we return to the Orlando area will most likely dine here again.

If you're on vacation and staying on 192 (or live close by) this is a great place to go. With the other options that are around this location, this is definitely my favorite out of all the other choices. The service is pretty good. Lately it's been great, except for when we are waiting on the check, the waiters/waitresses have seemed to disappear for a while, but that's alright! We have our normal go-tos for food, but I've been venturing out lately and I haven't had anything that's bad. We tend to go a little later than a normal dinner time and have been getting sat almost right away. This is definitely in our rotation of places to go.

Don't be deterred if you dislike spicy foods (or strong flavors). This restaurant is surprisingly accommodating. Food: Fresh, decently-portioned apps. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the lump crab stack (sans red pepper sauce) best. Service: We dined here twice this week. Each time when we mentioned dietary restrictions and asked questions about various menu items, the waitstaff immediately deferred to the kitchen manager's expertise. The manager came table side to discuss options. The Fine Print: Prices are great during their happy hour times, just beware they vary depending on which day it is.

I am a very picky eater and when I requested to substitute something on the menu that probably would've been not very appetizing, the manager came to talk over some other options instead of letting me order that. Our waiter, I believe his name was Christian (hopefully I'm right), was so sweet! Food was great! Service was even better. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • Emmanuel S.

I must say it didn't start off great but it was probably the best restaurant that I have been to in a long time. I gave it a 4 star bc of our first server didn't even come and check on us until after 10 minutes of us being there but I think that was a blessing in disguise. We were fortunate to get a young man by the name of Chris who took great care of us and allowed me and my wife to have a great evening. I have to say that everything that we had was exceptional. From the appetizers to the main course to the dessert. I would definitely recommend it if your in the area.

Went for dinner, for the first time, last night. Mixed reviews, yet we took a chance. I was rather impressed by the service and the food. The waitress, was phenomenal. Was on top of things the entire way. Knew the menu, and the ingredients, pretty well. Although we sat inside, and expected it to be a noisy environment, it was surprisingly quite quiet. We didn't have to yell across the table, etc., to talk/hear each other. The food was good. Had skirt steak cubano, and it was cooked perfectly, and the flavor of the chimmichurri sauce, was good. Wanted a bit more, but didn't make the request. Wife had a salmon dish, which has good, too. Not much of a fish eater, but I would have ordered it. The drinks were good. First time mojito drinker, and I'd have another from there. The Bahama Mama, was good, as well. Dessert was on the house, as it was a b'day dinner. Chocolate mousse type dessert was great. All in all, I would reccommend this place, asn will return during our next trip down to the area.

On here for vacation and saw good reviews of the place so decided to come. We say outside great atmosphere, casual. We came with a party of 10. Everybody's food look delicious and was delicious too lol my daughter wanted tacos but not with peppers in them, but they couldn't make that plate without the tacos. So the chef came out to tell us that and told us they are going to custom make her a taco plate where they made grounded the beef for her to make her meal. To me that stranded out the most!! Great service great food awesome customer service y wouldn't not go here

4 stars not 5 because they were out of Key Lime Pie on a Saturday 3pm. Boooo. :) Very fast service. Only thing missing was the friendliness of our server. She wasn't rude or anything, just that she had the personality of a rock. Only said hi, can I help you, anything else, etc. BUT....... Who cares about friendliness as long as food is good RIGHT??? Food was great. I had the shrimp linguine. My wife had the Cuban sandwich. She said it was awesome. We also had the beef empanadas which were very good. We ordered the Ultimate Pina Colada after seeing another Yelper ravely review about it. It was good, but lacked alcohol. We almost never drink liquor, but were still expecting that special taste which was lacking. Then of course came dessert. After seeing all the great comments about Key Lime Pie, we were distraught to be told it was sold out. But HEY!!!!! That saved us an extra 300 calories each right?? We'd definitely eat here again.

Ok food ok service. We had shrimp and grits which were decent although not the best. (Ok if you check out my other review it seems like we are on a bit of a shrimp and grits trend.). The grits were dry and not very good. I had the fish tacos which were good but not great. The waitress tried to very hard to be helpful and was very friendly but was not very knowledgable. For a chain I would consider Bonefish Grille where I have always had good meals, or find a local restaurant and not a chain. Ps the key Lime Pie was very good.

I enjoyed my dinner a lot. I was feeling something simple, so I ordered the grilled tilapia with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes along with the black bean soup. The soup hit the spot since it was a touch chilly outside. The tilapia was a bit on the thin side. I do not think the dish was worth $15, but it's a tourist area.

Only four stars because while it was good, I might not go back again. Took a while for our food to come out, though it was very busy. But the shrimp appetizer (firecracker?) was very, very good, as was the Dolce de Leche Cheesecake. Though the waiting staff was a little scatterbrained and a bit awkward, we still had good service.

We got takeout from here and everything was weird. It was like your average chain food with a weird twist. The chicken curry bowl was super gross and the other three entrees and appetizer we got were varying degrees of edible but nothing you would want to order again. Eew.

First time trying the Bahamas Breeze. The inside has a nice island feel to it. The food was amazing. Went with my family of five. We started with two orders of conch fritters. Two got the baby back ribs ( huge portion) that falls off the bone. Wifey got jerk chicken pasta (again huge potion). I got the skirt steak which was awesome. But the highlight of the meal was our waitress, Hope. Her eye to our detail was outstanding. She turned ceiling fans off when she saw she was a little chilly. Extra dishes, napkins, right there with refills. She wasn't afraid to offer her opinion with our meal. Ask for Hope if you want top notch service.

Service was great. Ordered a kids cheeseburger with Broccoli. Broccoli comes standard with all kids meal. The plate arrived with over seasoned spicy broccoli. We asked for plain steamed broccoli. Server came back and said they don't have plain broccoli and all their broccoli comes pre-seasoned. That doesn't make much sense but ok. The Habanero Wings were overcooked and a bit tough to pull apart and eat. The firecracker shrimp tacos and beef empanadas were good as well.

A very pleasant surprise. Homerun! Definitely come for happy hour. Brought family of 5, grubbed on coconut shrimp, spinich dip, quesadillas, wings etc, and spent only $75. Great find. Oh, and the mojitos were OUTSTANDING.

We ended up having a late dinner here on a Wed evening. Not packed at all at 9PM so we were seated rather quickly. Chose to sit outside and there was a fantastic older gentleman and his guitar as the evening entertainment. I'm usually weary of these chain places because the food is usually very....plastic? Meaning it seems like it all comes out of pre-packaged/seasoned bags reheated....but this was far from the case here. Started with an order of beef empanadas, jumbo lump crab stack, and conch fritters. I have to say that all of it was very good, especially the beef empanadas. That and the crab dish came with this ridiculously addictive mango chutney...amazing. The main dishes were just OK, we ordered a shrimp and lobster linguine in a cream sauce, a curry chicken over basmati rice dish, a pan fried tilapia fish dish from the kids menu for our 5 year old, and a fish special entree. Actually the main dishes were better then next day for some odd reason...our server was really nice and friendly and really went out of her way to make us comfortable all throughout our meal.

We visited this restaurant on April 15 while on vacation. In a word . . . Terrible!!! It was awful from the get go. Our group of four was seated in a booth right next to the bar. Our waitress seemed very energetic and took our drink orders right away. Little did we know that our evening meal had peaked at that moment. Margaritas were delivered a short time later but the one draft beer ordered was completely flat and the glass of wine ordered could not be delivered just then because they were out of wine glasses, according to our waitress. Mind you, this was at 5:30 and the restaurant was only half full and the bar empty. The flat beer was sent back and the waitress was asked to bring one of their house made beers. While this was going on, our food orders were taken. For the next half hour, our wine drinking friend was told repeatedly that his glass of wine would be delivered "as soon as a glass was available!" Repeated requests to our waitress, every ten or fifteen minutes when she drifted by ignoring our table unless we flagged her down, for that replacement beer was always met with "I am going to go get it right now." We would then watch her go into the kitchen, visit her other tables, and every other task she had except to go to the bar and get the beer we had ordered a half hour ago. And when she walked by ten minutes or so later and could be flagged down to be reminded we still had not gotten either the glass of wine or beer we had been waiting over a half hour for, the same promise to go get it right now was simply repeated. Eventually the one appetizer we had ordered, the bang bang shrimp arrived. Unfortunately, we still had not gotten our glass of wine or beer, and within a minute of the appetizer hitting the table our meals arrived. The wine drinking member of our party finally got his glass of wine, but only after our waitress said she'd have to go find another type of glass to serve it in, and after he was half done eating. The waitress then delivered it in a normal wine glass, leaving us to wonder what the great glass shortage was all about. The beer that had been ordered before the food order had been placed, and as a replacement for the totally flat beer originally delivered, was finally delivered but by the bar manager and after we were all done eating. The bar manager listened to our complaints, apologized, and said he'd comp the appetizer and drinks. Unfortunately, when we got our bill we saw the flat beer that had been sent back was written off but the one delivered after the meal was over remained on the bill. By this time, however, we were so intent on escaping this restaurant nightmare we paid it rather than kill another half hour trying to get someone's attention and to try to get it fixed. I ordered the sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The steak was passable but the asparagus was so raw I had difficulty cutting it with a steak knife. The mashed potatoes did not measure up to the ones you get at KFC, which I have often likened to wallpaper paste. Even without the awful service/bar experience, the food we were served would not bring me back. With the service issues, however, I'd prefer undergoing a root canal to enduring another trip to this place. Terrible food and terrible service, what else could they miss? Oh yeah, it was dark and pretty dead inside so I'd rank the ambiance right down there with the food and service. The most unfair thing of all is having to at least award one star to Bahama Breeze, as it fairly cries out for negative star level ratings. On a positive note, we sandwiched dinners at Germans and Bonefish Grill around this ordeal at BB and would recommend them both wholeheartedly.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was good, a nice clean place, and the staff was incredible. They got my wife's steak to us medium rare when she ordered medium well, the waitress was apologetic, immediately replaced it, and we even got a visit from the manager who said she spoke to the grill person about it. We will be returning again every time we come back to town for the great food, but especially for the top notch service and friendly staff.

My party consisted of 6 adults and 4 kids. We were seated within a few minutes and our drinks were ordered. At first it seemed like our waiter was so knowledgable. After we ordered, it probably took 40 min for our food to come out. (We got to the rest. at 1030 on a Sunday night which it was nearly empty). All our food was COLD. Our kids spilled a drink and had about 3 waiters pass by our table and no one offered to help. We got a manager to come out an hour later and assess the situation. Our waiter seemed go have disappeared until it was time to bring the check out. No one asked if we wanted refills, and 2 of the adults never got their drink from the bar. The manager did give us a few free desserts and was polite. However this is def not the service we expected esp since the restaurant wasn't busy at all.

Always friendly and welcoming. They have a great discount for Disney Cast, and great happy hour specials. Their beef empanadas and pork sliders are wonderful, their pineapple coconut martini is wonderful and each for $5 or less (before 6pm). My husband usually gets the bacon cheeseburger, its juicy and delicious. We live near this location, and will continue to visit often.

The service wasn't good at first, but eventually once the waiter got to us he was very nice. We ordered the chips and salsa The chips had no salt, and the salsa tasted like it was only tomatoes chopped up. They did replace our salsa with spinach artichoke dip but that tasted like melted Velvita with spinach in it We also ordered the ahi tuna was kind of flavorless but there was a lot of it. The last thing we ordered was the shrimp and lobster quesadilla, that was the best thing we had the entire night.

Got out of the Disney World for more economical food and discovered Bahama! Service - excellent, attentive, good food and drink suggestions all made for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Thanks Joseph! Grilled salmon with mandarin orange salsa - perfect. Paella - tasty and nice compliment of seafood and sausage. Key lime pie - one of the best tart and creamy. Kathlene - general manager checked in for satisfaction - demonstrates why food quality and service way above average - she is a true professional. This is part of the Darden Chain noted not for positive employee wages/benefits like with Red Lobster - hope they change their policies and are better with this part of the chain. With employees like we met - they invite return customers .

This was my first time eating at Bahama Breeze. Our waitress, Marysol, was wonderful. It was during Rumtoberfest, their version of October fest. So, in honor of that they have compiled special cocktails. The one I chose was the Curly Tail. It was delicious and it comes with a decorative lizard on top. I tried the small portion of their grilled jamaican jerked chicken. This is the first time anywhere that I have ordered jerk chicken that wasn't too spicy. The buttermilk fried chicken sliders will make you hurt yourself trying to eat them. The food was just delicious. We chose to sit inside but there was a live band playing outside, if you are into that. For us, it was just too humid. I don't know why I haven't tried Bahama Breeze sooner but I will be going back.

Had dinner here with the kids. Enjoyed conch fritters-small but good. I had black bean burger-very good. Wife had shrimp quesadilla. Tasty but the tortilla was very processed. Kids had hamburgers, and seemed to like them. I would return...

Have eaten at other Bahama Breeze restaurants with positive experiences in the past. Tried the new spicy shrimp entrée salad -- delicious on a pineapple boat, but the pineapple in the salad was missing. Scott, our very amiable server brought me some. My wife's shrimp dish was good, as well. Good place.

Worst bahama breeze ive ever been too. Server acted as if she dropped 2 xanax before her shift. We had a 7 top and only saw her once during our meal. We normally order the salmon pasta at the bahama breeZe in tampa and its awesome. The salmon here was wayyy over cooked and had absolutely no flavor. I ordered the beef bowl and for some reason you can only get well done steak. All in all it was a bad experience but maybe it was an off night.

Came here sunday for a family outing. We had call ahead seating for 13 @ 5ish. We were seated immediately to my surprise. Our waitress Brenna was amazing. Very upbeat and outgoing. First the appetizers, we ordered 2 island hoppers, onion rings, and spinach dip. Spinach dip was watery (not like the one we get at the bahama breeze in Daytona), onion rings were okay, island hoppers were a nice variety of different things and everyone seemed to like them. Everyone at the table ordered different things for dinner. I had the seafood rice dinner, which I did not like and traded someone else in my party for his shrimp and grits, which were OUTSTANDING. Now you are probably wondering if the food was good and the service was fantastic, why only two stars? Well upon finishing our meals and using the restroom a girl in our party witnessed the chef use the restroom and walk out without washing her hands. Just NASTY. Brings up all of the emotions I have about not wanting to eat out at places because I can't see them preparing my food and whether or not these people are touching my food. Ugh. Will not go back.

Dinner on a Friday night. To say the least it was busy. We were still seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was newer (2 weeks), but she was awesome! Completely nice and didn't try to cover up the fact that she hasn't been there long. Food was really good and service didn't take too long.

Really enjoyed the meal. Very tasty. I ordered the ribs with signature sauce and fries and my wife ordered the lobster and shrimp pasta; both were great. Ribs were clearly not made-to-order but tasted good none-the-less. Service was extremely fast and the place did get busy by the time we left. Will come again next time in the area.

Their Habanero wings are no longer spicy! WTH?! What a bland batch of wings I had. Very disappointing. I remember that sucker being so hot it brought tears to my eyes. So sad. Also I ordered their pan seared tuna on a salad. Which the menu read "warning this is rare" I got it and it was medium well...not fully well done but almost well done. I would have returned it but I wasn't in the mood to be that person that night.

I really like the seafood " fish " entrees here. They are always done well and very tasty. Also the appetizers are great! And drinks make you feel like your on a cruise or a island. Famous Bahamarita is awesome. I definitely recommend this place. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Some of the old menu items were rest they took off. Wish they would come back though.

Last night our family of 11 ate at Bahama Breeze. The waitress was fantastic. The drinks were excellent and not watered down. When the food came everyone received their food except for my uncle, who had ordered steak. His plate was accidentally sent to the wrong table. The waitress and manager cared very apologetic and got his plate out quickly, but also provided him with a bowl of soup while he waited. They didn't charge him for his steak and also provided free deserts for our table and $10 gift certificates for each individual family. This was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated! This is the kind of service that makes us customers for life! Thank you Bahama Breeze for such a great experience! We will be back this week!

Nice food, and they had a Kona beer on tap, which was nice. I have never been to this location but it's nearly the same as the one out on I-Drive. Good service, almost all the same menu items, everything tasted great. The hummus is delicious. I got the fish tacos here and they were tasty. I'll definitely be back-- this location was a quick drive down 429 and right off the exit. Plenty of parking-- MUCH easier to get in and out of than the I-Drive location.

Appetizers and Drinks are 1/2 price at happy hour! We ordered the lobster and Shimp Quesadilla appetizer which was incredible. He ordered fish tacos (He rates a 7 out of 10) I got the seafood paella (I rate a 6 out of 10- rice was sort of dry) We came back a 2nd time and got the same quesadillas. He got a creole rice bowl ( 8 out of 10) I got a cheese burger - dry (6 out of 10) Both times service was outstanding. Lots of drink options

The key lime pie was delicious and it's enough for 2 people. They seated us quickly at the heart of dinner time. I had a lovely grilled salmon & shrimp with mashed sweet potatoes.

I have been going to Bahama Breeze since the first one opened on International Drive in the '90s. I have always liked the restaurants, especially the way they are designed and themed. Unfortunately, the last time we went to the original one it just was not that great. The food left a heavy feeling in our guts and just felt overpriced for what you got. When the new one in Kissimmee opened, we decided to give it a go. The first disappointment when we walked up was the decor. Where the two in Orlando have awesome outside sitting areas with fire pits, vegetation, waterfalls and the like, this one lacked that and just had a small outdoor area with some seating. No big deal really, as I figured this one probably would not see the amount of tourism the big two do being so close to Disney and I-drvie. When we walked inside, it felt even less "Bahama Breeze" with just a large dimly lit rectangle of a room and a bar off to the side. Compared to the other restaurants of the same name, this one felt more like it was built inside or adjacent to a hotel. Just no where near as fun and cozy as the others. But hey, if the food is good, the decor is just a small piece of the pie, so we ordered. We started off with the Coconut Shrimp, which is a staple here. My wife ordered the Ropa Vieja, which was removed from the other restaurants menus years ago, but is here, which made us very happy. I decided to try the new Curry chicken bowl as I absolutely love curry. First to arrive were the Coconut Shrimp, which as always, were fantastic! Lightly coated in that wonderful batter and served with the awesome dipping sauce that I truly love. Off to a great start! Our meals then arrived. Now, my wife loves Ropa Vieja, and with a small local place by us that serves it very very well, she was excited to try the dish here. It was good, but just not to the level of excellence that is the small Cuban place by us. Add the price, and it just made it that much harder to grasp. When my curry arrived, I was a bit disappointed right away as it looked.. odd. the chicken was big chunks sitting on top of a big amount of white rice. with a little curry sauce. In my first bite, I was disappointed. the chicken was dry and just felt like it was frozen meat that was used. The curry was not really curry tasting at all, with very little spice and not much flavor. I was expecting curry, full of flavor with fresh tender meat and a nice spice. Unfortunately this is not what I received. The staff, like in all other Bahama Breezes, were great. Courteous, friendly and knew I was not very happy with my meal and tried their best to make it better. I really appreciate that, as I know what it can be like to be in that position. In the end, for a great appetizer, two so-so meals and two iced teas we got a bill of over $50. Not worth it at all in my opinion as we can go to local mom & pop owned establishments and get amazing curry or awesome Ropa Vieja for less then half of this bill. Sadly, I feel my love for this chain is over, and its time to move on.

We went twice to this location during the duration of our vacation. The first time was very good, they were out of a few items and the food was a bit slow coming out but overall it was nice and my fish was good. Dj, our waiter, was very friendly and entertaining, he even put on a bit of a show for the kids. We left relatively happy with everything, enough so to come back one more time, a couple days before we were going to depart. We didn't get a reservation this time, so no problem since we knew we were going to wait. Once seated the waitress came by for drink and appetizers orders while handing out some jokes, she was very friendly and polite. Our drinks were taking a really long time, since there was a mix of sodas, smoothies, and alcoholic drinks. We could tell our waitress was doing everything possible to get us what we wanted and came by with plenty of water and refills of what she could get us, but there was obviously something horribly wrong going on in the bar. Beside that, the food itself took absolutely forever. Our appetizers, empanadas and various shrimp, came out and the taste was delectable, I could have gone for more of that and made it a meal because I was starving, but I ordered a juicy steak that I was holding out for along with three other adults in my party. There was such a big gap between our appetizers and our entree, and again the kind waitress came by to try and make sure that we were well hydrated and we put in another order for a couple alcoholic drinks while waiting. When the food did come only one steak was cook close to what was ordered, it came our medium when asked for medium rare. My steak came out a little more towards medium well when I asked for medium rare, and my parents steaks came out a bit past medium well when they asked for medium. Another member of our party had a burger that had a piece of plastic in it as well as being over charred, and one of the kids that ordered the child's cheeseburger had hers super charred. We called the waitress, and felt bad to send so much back because we felt like that troubled table but this was downright unacceptable since the prices of these plates weren't exactly cheap. The waitress felt really bad, and was doing everything in her power to make us feel better and even suggested the manager some out to talk with us. By the way, the bar still hadn't gotten us that second round of drinks, our poor waitress kept bring me water. The manager came and after talking it over with my mom assured us that the food would be on its way soon but we had to call her back because the rest of us were to hungry to wait for everyone to get food and I had enough time to finish my meal with out any other food coming for the overdone orders. the manager apologized and said she would take the orders off our bill and give us a $20 gift card to come back and spend there. No thank you, not going back there again. We just gave the gift card to the next table, they seemed to get their order right. Love the floor staff because they are friendly and prompt but a major failure as far as everything else is concerned.

Surprisingly good food for a chain and the live Caribbean music was a very nice touch. We ordered the corn cakes, which were tasty with a great salsa, the onion rings, which were FANTASTIC (although he dipping sauce was an off match, in my opinion), the coconut shrimp (tasty, but typical coconut shrimp), the carnitas bowl (delicious, and don't get put off by the description which is unappealing, as this was the best dish in my opinion), the Jerk Wings (delicious, but be warned they are the whole wing and not the typical wing so they're tough to eat but tasty) and a few other things. As others have said, a worthwhile break from eating offsite if you're at Disney on vacation, and less than three miles from the Animal Kingdom Lodge so easy to visit of you have a car.

Loved this place. I usually don't care for franchises like these. Not personal enough. However this place had just what I expected but better with personality. My drinks were made fresh and fast as was my food. Nice menu as well. Exotic food for me, simple food for my son. Both had good portion size. The ambiance is nice as well. We sat outside and were serenaded by a paid musician. When we were finished we chatted on the outdoor patio and couch. Very relaxing. The price is right. I would go back.

We were staying at Orange Lake Resort, so this location is right outside the resort. What a great choice. The ambiance is relaxed. You can dine outside or in. We were lucky to have arrived at 9 pm on Thursday which is Happy Hour. 1/2 priced drinks and appetizers. $3 for a premium 20 oz beer...can't beat that. We sampled several appetizers and Empanadas, Lobster quesadilla and coconut shrimp were great. The chicken sliders....not so great. We all had pasta dishes as mains and were very happy. They have a choice for a smaller size portion, which we all had and it was certainly enough food for dinner. Next time I am down in Orlando, I will not miss eating here again.

I really like the restaurant concept amongst the Olive Gardens of the world so gave it a shot. Unfortunately, that meant people in our dinner party got sick from one of the pasta cream dishes that had spinach in there. Also, once you get into the menu selections this is very chain restaurant-esque. Being in the Orlando area I suppose you have to expect that. I had the burger since nothing else seemed to stand out from the 'Caribbean' flair they were going after. Being that two people got sick, I'm glad I went with the burger. Lastly, the service was OK but the server was over the top with comeback lines for EVERY thing asked or commented on. Maybe he should have tried going to work for Disney than being a waiter. I like trying new restaurants and was hopeful I could add this to the list of good ones, but no dice here.

My husband and I were going to try all these swanky restaurants while in Florida, but after being in the pool and in the sun all day, we just wanted to grab a bite and not have to get all dressed up and drive 10 miles to get there. This place is right across the intersection of Orange Lake Resort and Country Club, where we are owners. I was excited to see new places when we drove past so I said we GOTTA try this one. It sounds good and I was right. IT WAS! To begin with, being a party of two, we were seated immediately. Our server was a doll! She was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions and even made recommendations. This is a HUGE plus in my book. Nothing worse than someone who knows nothing. We started off with the Crab, Shrimp, Mango and Avocado Stack, which is jumbo lump crabmeat, chilled shrimp, fresh avocados and apple-mango salsa layered and stacked; with a spicy honey-red pepper drizzle. All I can say is YUM! This was beautifully presented and the flavors were phenominal together. Nice and light so we could move on to the main course and also have room for dessert! For our main course, I had the Calypso Shrimp Linguine, which is shrimp in sautéed with garlic, scallions, tomatoes, Creole spice and a touch of cream. This was chock full of shrimp too. They offered a full size and lighter portion, which I appreciated, because as mentioned my goal was to make it to dessert. This was so tasty that I ate the entire lighter portion entree. I commented to the waitress, "This is the lighter portion? What the heck does the full sized portion look like?" She told me it would have come on the same sized plate as my husband's entree. I thought the lighter portion was plenty. My husband had the Tilapia Simply grilled with yellow rice and green beans. I tasted his rice and green beans which were both cooked perfectly. He also said the tilapia was delish! For dessert, we had Rebecca's Key Lime Pie. All I have to say is OMG! What a HUGE piece of pie. So glad we were splitting. The pie was homemade. This was awesome! Not too tart. Just right. I highly recommend Bahama Breeze. We are people that like to eat and get the hell out! We aren't drinkers, so we don't tend to linger. They had us in and out in 45 minutes. and the bill including tax and tip was $70. I did not think this was bad for the quality. For people who don't like to bolt, they had live entertainment on the outside patio where you could also eat. Just a nice atmosphere. You can tell this outfit is a well oiled machine. They know how to run a restaurant. A very enthusiastic thumbs up!

I always enjoyed eating @ Bahama Breeze. THe drink and food menu are so awesome! SInce I was celebrating my birthday with my family, I made sure to order my favorite dish: guava flavored ribs & sweet potato mash. I also ordered their lemon ginger mojito, which was pretty awesome! We also ordered the Truffle Yuca Fries as an appetizer. Very light and crispy. The dipping sauces were pretty tasty too. Overall, I and my family enjoyed my birthday dinner here!

I was leery about eating here because the parking lot looked empty. We took the chance and really liked it. Try the Bahamarita. ($4 between 4-6pm). Sit on the patio and ask for Carlos to serve you. Tell him that Dr Bruce sent you. You might also go across the street to Miller's Ale House. It's great food. Try the Lobster, Ribs or Zingers. Amazing!

Drinks were great. We all felt ill after we ate there. My wife and daughter both puked that night and got diarrhea. Our mother in-law ate there 2days later and also got very ill. First time here. Started off with a painkiller. Very tasty drink. Had the coconut shrimp appetizer, it was good but I like the sauce at Red Lobster better. I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken -light portion. I am afraid to know what the full portion is like I could barely finish as it was. Service was ok, there was some issues that they were closing at 10:00 pm and the server seemed a bit distracted with preparing for closing. We even had to ask for napkins and plates after the appetizer was brought out. For dessert I had the dulce de leche. That was perfectly sized after a big meal and tasted fabulous.

This was my first experience at a Bahama Breeze... and what an awesome place!! Great food. Everything we ordered was very tasty! Excellent service and consultation on gluten free (gf) diet by the restaurant's General Manager himself! That's right. Chris came personally to our table and was instrumental in our choice of gf food, by providing food preparation information! He was cheerful and upbeat. He was happy to help us and be of service to us. He made us feel comfortable and welcome at Bahama Breeze, Kissimmee, FL! Our server, Nicole A., was dynamic every time she came to our table. She was a breath of fresh air, friendly, knowledgable of the menu items and did not hesitate to ask the General Manager or the Chef questions she did not know the answer (unlike other servers at other establishments who tend to guess the correct answer), Nicole understood the vital importance attached to the health risks of eating the wrong food and thus, sought out the correct information by asking the right people! Servers like Nicole A. make customer's visit to a restaurants a five star experience! In addition, I wish I could have thought of thanking the Chef in person.... So, Hats off to the Chef!!! Thank you Nicole A. and the Chef for a great experience. Also, a huge "Thank You" to Chris, General Manager, for treating and training your crew in a professional way!

I usually have great experiences at the Bahama Breeze locations I the Orlando area, this was an exception. They have a new menu which I believe contributed to their issues. We got chicken sliders.. The are two choices for them. One is a combination which gives you two of them with a side for 8.49 The second is an appetizer with 4 of them, sides extra. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla appetizer which NEVER SHOWED. The chicken sliders came out overcooked, but we kept the save time The check was messed up twice before finally corrected. This was not impressive. I hope they are better when they open in Brandon

The food was fairly decent, but there was so many other negative things about our visit that made me not enjoy my visit. First off our server came to explain the menu and inform of us of the nightly specials, no problems yet. Next he took our children's drink order and promptly returned with them. Next came the adults beverage order. Five minutes or so passed and he returned (without any drinks) and began to take our dinner order. Ten more minutes elapsed (still no drinks) and our appetizers arrived salad and coconut shrimp. Finally a few minutes into eating our appetizers our drink order arrived (a margarita, Cosmo and two bottles of beer). Next they began to deliver our main courses we ordered two kids chicken breasts, jerk pasta, cilantro la crema, a sirloin steak and a filet mignon. The server brought us the children's plates and told us to be careful because the plates were extremely hot (dumbest thing ever) so the kids had to wait until they cooled down. So they were obviously microwaved. Next they brought out the pasta and cilantro la crema and one of the steaks. Five minutes passed and we told the server we were missing one entrée, filet mignon. He returned from the kitchen with a sirloin. I explained this wasn't what we ordered, but by this time I was so hungry I didn't feel like waiting 15 more minutes to get the right meal. A short time passed and the manager came out to apologize and offered us free dessert. We declined and asked him to bring a couple of extra napkins to which he said " no problem I will be right back". He never returned to the table. The only reason I gave two stars was that everyone else at the table said the food tasted good. The service was horrible and management couldn't even accommodate simple requests after making huge mistakes. I won't done here again.

If i lived in Kissimmee I would eat here every day. I love the clam chowder and the waitress, Nicole, is wonderful on the eyes. Oh, and the food is good too!

Didnt see a plain chicken sandwich on the menu so special ordered with a side of sweet bbq sauce. Very good! Servers seem to enjoy their jobs.

Coconut Shrimp was awesome. So was the Fried Chicken on top of mashed potatoes layered with cheese, spinach and cream sauce. Chefs special was Tiger Shrimp with coconut lemongrass sauce, asparagus and toasted almonds. It was good but not as good as Coconut Shrimp. Service was good. Busy spring break crowd. We sat outside (first come first serve seating). It was loud because we sat right next to the Iive entertainment.

We wanted to get a late night snack and drink. Stopped in at 12am. Atmosphere was great. Workers were all nice and friendly. Our server, Manny, was awesome. He made sure we were well satisfied. Chef Chris came out and brought our food. He later came back and introduced himself and he personally made sure we were happy with the food he prepared. The food was great. My drink, the bahamarita was made perfectly. I just wanted to say that we were completely satisfied with the service and the food. We will definitely come back again!
