Two pools...beautiful waterfall to listen to while sitting at the Tiki bar. The staff were terrific! Friendly and definitely made me feel like an old friend. We went to the breakfast buffet which was really good. I think my teenager ate 5lbs of bacon that morning... I cannot wait to come back in February!

Awesome Angus burgers! Clever burger menu. Craft beer selections rotating with great happy hours 4-7pm, every day. With a motto of Live Life, family pics adorn restaurant with great sentiment. Don't be scared of the outside, with a dreadful looking black, oil tank decorating the parking area. There's no resemblance of a good place to eat from Overseas Hwy. In fact, there should be a big "red" truck with a "Yelp" sign that reads "Best Burger in Key Largo!" Completely understand not wanting to invest in a property that's not owned, but this business is suffering and so are the employees. Sweet and attractive staff were obviously bored with no business. Service was good but when a restaurant isn't busy, staff socializes and typically has to be called over to address needs. Our server was stellar explaining history of business, the concept, and different happy hour choices. Kudos!! She is a true asset. Wake up owner!
Seriously the best jalapeño burger of my life. It actually squirted me in the eye because there was so many peppers and they had eye drops to rescue me. What a great place. You must check it out.
Stopped here after spent the morning diving, we found this place through yelp and confirmed it through our guide. I ordered the okee which came out and I had to send it back since it was under cooked (raw in the middle) came back cooked correctly. Nothing too spectacular about the burger. Waitress was attentive well mainly because there was only our table in the restaurant, I would give this place a second chance

Looking for some refreshing juice? Try their huge selection of fresh juices, especially guava and mango. We also tried some Cuban cuisine like their fried pork with black beans and rice. It reminded me of the Filipino adobo. It is not a fancy place so don't expect five-star ambience but the people are very friendly. We came back the next day for breakfast and they serve inexpensive but good food like french toast and sausage, not the cost you would pay at Denny's or Waffle House. Try their Cuban coffee, too!
Definitely the best Cuban food this side of Hialeah. Stopped in for breakfast on my Key Largo stay. Best café con leche & Cuban toast around. Dined inside & the service was awesome. The ladies that work there are absolutely hilarious and the food is to die for. Will be back every morning during our stay!
Outstanding place. Great food, better prices. Cortaditos are excellent. Locals mingle in this place , which makes a very friendly ambiance. I live in Homestead (27 miles away) and go every other day ,for lunch or dinner, and chit-chat with locals. If you want great food at 1990's prices, this is it. You must stop and see it for yourself.

This place is a decent choice for lunch or dinner. Many seafood options. Lots of deep-fried food, though. It seems like that is pretty standard in the keys, though.it's seem to have pretty good reviews on yelp and trip adviser and was recommended restaurant by locals. I was a little disappointed given these high reviews. The place was not terrible but nothing to write home about. It's a good restaurant, but not a place to intentionally make a destination.we had Stone crab as an appetizer as well as artichoke and crab dip. Had a couple of fish sandwiches. The food was very decent. I have nothing bad to say about it. It wasn't mind blowing, though.
We had a very nice lunch there...we suggest any of the fish sandwiches...not a very busy place so the service was spot on.
Spectacular service and warm, genuine hospitality. Yellowtail snapper was fresh and well-prepared; hogfish special was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. I'm sure their Key Lime Pie is good, but their homemade rum cake was spectacular - take my advice, get the rum cake here and the key lime somewhere else. An unexpected delight in Key Largo where a lot of places are overpriced, touristy or both.

After seeing the long line outside Mrs. Mac's Kitchen, we settled on this place because my daughter loves Italian food and there was no line - first red flag. Although less than half the tables were occupied, we were told we would have to wait for a table because we didn't have a reservation - second red flag. We waited quite a while for our waitress to refresh drinks and offer refills of water and iced tea to the neighboring tables before she took our order. Good sign, I thought; she'll keep our glasses filled. Unfortunately, she never offered me a refill on my iced tea. The worst part of the experience was the food - it was awful. The garlic rolls were dripping in oil. My mahi sandwich was a piece of overcooked fish on a ciabatta roll - no tomato, lettuce or dressing. It came with decent pasta salad and horrible polenta fries - tasteless and no ketchup on the table to help pretend they were french fries. When the waitress asked how everything was and we couldn't find anything to say, she didn't ask what was wrong; I don't think she cared. Terrible food, terrible service, never going back.
Let me start by saying I don't work for this resturant and I have no relationship with anyone at the place. I was just visiting Key Largo from Phoenix. Overall, I liked this place. It was not the best I've ever had but it's a good choice if you're looking for an Italian meal. I got a meatball sandwhich (I know, not exactly hard core Italain) but it was pretty good. The main meals are fairly pricey. Say $25-20 before drinks. Not too bad but expensive if you have a big family. Overall, not a bad choice. Service was good...and it was nicely painted
What a great place! We loved our dinner here. The service was great! I tried the linguine with little neck clams. Hearty portion and great sauce! My husband had the linguine with calamari. Also a great portion and delicious : ) Thanks for a great last dinner in paradise!

Great key lime freeze and key lime pie is a must Had the alligator tail and crab cake. Crab cake was mediocre. Alligator tail is ok nothing to write bout. Simple fried and dipped in buffalo wing hot sauce customer service was great and attentive
Hands down the best service/staff we experienced in the upper keys. The staff is courteous, informed on the menu and eager to please. The food was top notch. Bloody Mary's were exactly as I like them, the blackened chicken was perfectly prepared. The decor was kitschy but cool. They know what they are and do it really well......oh rumor has it the key lime pie is good too! :) we'll be back!
This place was so great! The Texas Benedict was one of the best Benedicts I've ever had. The service was superb, also. I would highly recommend this place!

Num-Thai & Sushi Bar Restaurant

This place was pretty badass. We had just driven down from the Everglades by way of Miami and were looking to get some eats. Found Num-Thai on Yelp and was immediately drawn to the Thai+Sushi combination. Typically I don't like mixing sushi with other Asian cuisines and am skeptical of any place that does, but Num-Thai pulls it off wonderfully. And inexpensively at that! From the outside, it almost looks like a dingy blue-hue pool hall or something, set in a strip mall. And your eyes aren't deceiving you - it's very blue inside - the walls, the lights, the carpets. All blue. The food was fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. Some had drunken noodles, others vegetarian dishes, and pad thai. I had a spicy beef salad with lime juice and chili's, some spicy tuna salad, and a few pieces of sushi that were just perfect. Oh, and their sushi is $1 a piece. The most expensive roll is like $7. Doesn't get much better than that!
Great Thai food, best we ever had, very extensive menu, prices very reasonable. Worth a trip to Key Largo!
Good place, locals eat here and often.

I have eaten here several times and the food is always delicious and tasty. Especially the Hibachi Chicken has all the right sazòn. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Keys needed it!
Wait at mrs max's was too long so went here by accident and so glad we did! Authentic Mexican. Chips and salsa were made there and warm....salsa was chopped and tasty! Meal of fish tacos were perfect and reasonably priced compared to other places on island. Nothing fancy but a wonderful surprise!
Wife got the 3 top plates of beef fajitas, I guess I accidentally ordered the Huevos Rancheros for 6. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. The fajita steak was awesome! I tried to get half way through my Huevos Rancheros, but had to quit. It mocked me for my failure. It called me a coño and asked my wife if she wanted to go home with a real man. Could have something to do with the 10lbs of sausage stuffed inside it. My feelings and belly hurt, I'm going home.

Best seafood I have ever had came hear to scuba dive and the folks at sailfish scuba recommended it and a dish. We went at 4:00 pm but what we wanted wasn't ready to be prepared yet (this is a good sign) it means that they catch there Mahi Mahi fresh. We came back at 5:30 pm and they had it. Great crab stuffed Mahi Mahi with lemon butter sauce and fresh key lime pie at the end. This is very high quality drop buy if your in Key Largo. Also very friendly employees.
Good spot to stop at on your way in or out of the Keys. Mahi Mahi sandwich, barbecued pork and Philly cheesesteak were all very good and reasonably priced. Casual setting with picnic tables along the water. Kids meal is available and offers a variety of choices.
What a great place, I lived in Key Largo for years and my only regret is having only found them in the past 2 years. Having moved this month, they are definitely one of the few restaurants we will miss. My wife and I used to come whenever we could, especially for happy hour (they're the cheapest place to get Yuengling in town). They have something for everyone, even picky eaters and those that don't like seafood. I'd recommend them to anybody, but if you go on a Friday leave a few minutes early because they get CROWDED quick.

Ran in for a quick breakfast to go. Very reasonable prices especially for the keys. My omelet was good - spinach. Tomatoes. Feta. Felt the omelette needed more feta to make it even better. I'm not a potato eater so offered the home fries to the kids. Both felt they were too bland to eat. Wife had a croissant egg sandwich. It looked really good. Better than my omelette. She loves potatoes and ordered hash browns. . She said they weren't good at all. Just flavorless. So would we go back again? Yes. But I think I'll try the grits. Strong point. We ordered to go and food hot and ready in less than 5 minutes. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy about the restaurant. As others said. Just a good hole in the wall
Go there hungry. Giant Burritos and the freshest salsa you've had in years, guaranteed!
Exactly what I wanted... Authentic Mexican restaurant no fancy crap all real. great staff great food served with a smile... Will come back again
