I am shocked at the reviews here. I love this place, has been a favorite for a long time. I do not eat in often here though. I get take out a couple of times a month. The pizza is the best in Jupiter and the garlic knots are amazing. For years I had to make sure I had cash on me before going, but they except cards now so that is not an issue.

Awesome pizza and great selection of beer!!! My favorite thing to do is grab a beer while I wait at the bar for my pizza! Friendly and attentive service!!!

Open til 10pm (on Saturday???). Called at 9:40pm for takeout order. Me: 'I'd like to place an order for takeout' Staff: 'The kitchen is closed' Me:'You are open til 10 right' Staff:'Yes, but the kitchen is closed, we are all leaving at 10'. Me:'Well maybe you should change your hours' I'm sorry, but this is simply beyond pathetic. Here's a thought, how about staying closed or hiring staff that want to work the assigned hours instead of staring at a clock. When I worked in the industry, closing time meant you took orders up and until that time, PERIOD. Customers purchasing your products generates your paycheck. That is, unless you are already making six or seven figures waiting tables at Zipz's. During your extra 20 minutes of paid seat warming this evening, here's a concept to ponder - no customers = no job / no income / no business ....

We've always liked their pizza. This time we tried the Caprese Salad and white pizza, too. The salad had a good amount of mozzarella, tomato, and basil for two to share. The white pizza was really good. I might just get that next time and skip the regular. The service was attentive.

Feh... Generic pizza...too much oregano in the sauce. Pleasant on phone and at time promised. The search continues...

Visited on November 17th at 3:10pm... my second bad experience here (this will be the last time). It was absolutely terrible. They got our pizza completely wrong, charged us 12 bucks for a personal pan pizza, a single Corona Light was $5.25, a side salad (worth $0.75at best) was $6.95, and to top all that off we waited for 45 minutes while the cook was nowhere to be found. The manager left her phone on a table in the back half of the restaurant where she sat nearly the whole time we were there (no customer service that whole time). When she finally came out her phone alarm started going off a few minutes later back at the table where she was sitting. I informed her that it was going off and she said it's fine... we listened to the alarm for 10 minutes.

Outstanding pizza. Veggie or meat, both are excellent. Try their thin crust, well-done.

Totally flavorless sausage and sauce. Possibly one of the WORST Italian restaurants I've ever tried. Even Sal's off of Military is better. To add insult to injury, it's EXPENSIVE here. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area and they are better and cheaper than this overpriced swill. I've eaten here 3 times, and each time the food was worse. Nick's Tomato Pie is 100 times better for about the same money and there's always a line out the door while the sea of empty tables at Zipz's speaks volumes.

worse pizza I ever had and really over priced. Next time I'll get a DelGiorno or a Tombstone for half the price and better taste.

We stopped going there years ago based on their cash only policy. If they finally changed that silliness, good for them. That's a big plus. Credit sites like this for exposing that sort of thing and forcing owners to adapt. I avoid cash only restaurants at all cost. Maybe I'll give them another shot but they have other things to fix or that cannot be fixed. Of all the small restaurants I've been to, Zipz's is by far the loudest one ever. The ceilings are low and the noise just bounces around like a shoe box in there. My other gripe is that the booths are worn out and I feel like I have springs sticking in my rear. Uncomfortable seats. They can fix the booths (doubt they will) but the noise is never going to change. I don't know why anybody would patronize this place when you can go to Guiseppe's just down the road. Simply no comparison.

I'm not sure what happened to the other reviewer... but I have had nothing but good experiences here.. Great entrees and good pizza. I love NY style pizza and they do a great job. I've been here several times for dinner and all the entrees I have ordered were great and you get soup and garlic knots with your entree! You get a lottttt of food. I would recommend this place. I knock a star off because prices could be a little lower and they do not take credit cards. Excellent food, though.

Great food, expensive for a small place.. But great food.. Cozy environment. Definitely worth the money! Their sicilian pizza is awesome. I wish they would take credit cards..

This place SUCKS!! The first pizza we ordered was so undercooked that it dripped with water and oil, taking all of the cheese off the dough (which was still completely doughy still). The second pizza, which was a completely different pizza was done the same way. No apologies, just attitude too. I found myself calling Papa Johns for takeout while we waited (forever) for the (overpriced) check. Definitely a whole bunch of better places to go than this hell-hole! HEY GUYS - LEARN TO COOK A PIZZA!!

I was in the area today & wanted some pizza sooooo I stopped in this spot. I was expecting to buy a slice but instead they only offer a "personal pizza" that was $8... WTH? I ordered it anyways & I have had better pizza at much cheaper prices. I certainly will never go back although the lady working there was friendly. OH WELL!

So disgusted! I've been there a few times in the past 18 months and always enjoyed it. Tonight I brought relatives for the 1st time and I ashamed to admit I liked it before. The waitresses were rude: they threw straws at us; although they took our orders, they brought the food to the table and yelled out for who's was what (mind you, only 7 of us. No reason to yell). Asking for a refill was like asking for an organ donation. I asked for the bill to be split and she said she didn't know who had what. Took the bill up to the register and the rude man told me he had to spend time on it, put it and the credit cards under the register and proceeded to refill everyone's drink at the bar and handle the to go line all while I stood there. When he finally handled mine, he huffed and puffed. When the waitress asked what I was doing at the register and I told her, she said "whatever". Her tip? Get a new attitude. I will never ever step foot inside that place ever again. They ALL ought to be ashamed of themselves....that place was packed tonight and every single person shared the same sentiment.

This is the third and last strike for Zipz. We used to love this place, but in the past 18 months it has completely gone downhill. Our pizza was burnt from the top, which I'm not even sure how they did this. It had no flavor whatsoever. Whomever was in the kitchen must not be familiar with the pizza concept. Never again.

Decided to give it a try for the first time last night. Ordered a Sicilian pizza and a spinach and cheese roll. Restaurant was not busy at all, only a few tables, but I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for our take out order. To say the pizza was bad is an understatement. Sauce was very spicy and by no means your typical pizza sauce. The Sicilian crust was basically 2 pizza crusts cooked on top of each other. They even separated as you ate it. The spinach roll looked good but was really Publix frozen spinach wrapped in pizza dough. Needless to say our first experience will be our last.

I had a calzone and the cheese and crust was so delicious the heavens opened up and angels descended and all I could hear was beautiful music that would make the burliest of men weep and all that was only surpassed by the beauty and kindness of my server kelly, I was only passing through on my way to Miami but I would come again and drive this far just for the chance to get another glimpse of those beautiful eyes and that amazing smile.

I usually like the pizza, but I ordered tonight at 7 pm and was told 15 - 20 minutes. I arrived and then sat for almost an hour waiting for my pizza. When I got home, 5 minutes away, the pizza was cold. The staff seemed like they had no clue.

My girlfriend and I ordered just a pizza on our first night in Jupiter. Wasn't disappointed. The pizza was just fine but it's definitely not on New Yorks level. Service wasn't bad either but for being as quiet as it was it didn't come quick. Perhaps the only troubling part was despite being first there a couple other tables received their pizza before us even though ours only had pepperoni on it.

Some of the best pizza in town. I have been going here since I was child which makes me old but I love their pizza. We eat there at least twice a month I have had nothing but excellent pizza and excellent calzones. We tend to go towards their white pizza which is amazing and we have started getting it with prosciutto which makes the flavors just phenomenal. Don't forget their garlic knots which are excellent and they have the best tiramisu it actually taste like tiramisu! They now accept credit and not just cash as some people complained about.

By far the worst pizza I have ever had. The bottom of the "pizza" was overdone. There was no flavor. I usually can eat 3-4 slices but I could only stomach one slice. service was horrible. We were there for over an hour. garlic knots sucked. I will never come back even if it is free!

I used to go to Zipz's awhile ago with my family every Friday. Back then it was a comfortable home-y place where your neighbors waited on you and made sure that your needs were met with a smile. If something went wrong with your order, there was some level of accountability and no one ever dodged you. You got an apology, they acknowledged their error and you had another beer knowing that they had their eye on your table. I wish I could say the same for my latest visit. My family and I went back for the first time since management/ownership has changed. Food came out in an untimely manner and our waitress, a brunette with glasses, avoided eye contact with us and seemed content to avoid our table's queries. I understand what it is to be busy in the service industry and how things go wrong, but when everyone else at the table is finished with their entree and one person still has not been served ... you should own up to the mistake or try to assuage the matter. Sad to say, but I will never return. Good food, but bad service and no accountability. Maybe it was the waitress, or it could have been that the kitchen had a bad night; but it is never OK to ignore a customer.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
