Average and decent Italian and Pizza. Makes the grade for what you would expect in this area (which automatically sets the bar a little high). 4th star is for the Key Lime Pie. Holy crap! It sits unobtrusively, off on some obscure little corner of the menu - but it's a real hidden gem. Better than the last piece I had IN THE KEYS.

This place is just wonderful! The staff is friendly, service is wonderful and the food is spectacular. There is always something new to try, just ask. And, they make some really creative specialty cocktails. Great selection of liquor at the bar! Don't pass it up. Great place for a simple pizza pie (which is amazing) or a fresh piece of fish with a gourmet touch. Highly recommend!

So I am new to the area and I had never been here before. Last week I decided to try the lunch buffet. The place was completely dead when I walked in . Interestingly, the ambiance is very good and i thought it was an inviting atmosphere. The main problem was the actual food. Not only was the selection a disgrace but the food quality was also very below average. I even found multiple hairs in the chicken dish from the buffet. I almost felt like calling the health department. I was extremely disappointed in the presentation and quality of the food. Also there wasn't much of a selection at all. I guess most of the clientele orders pizza or calzones when they come here. The pizza from the buffet was the only decent thing but it was still nothing to write home about. The 8.95 buffet that this establishment puts together would be better served as a 1.95 buffet. Why would I ever want to come back and try the entrees from the menu after experiencing this from the buffet? The service was attentive but the owners seemed pretty detached and uninterested in my overall experience. Maybe because I was by myself and I didn't look like a big money customer. I am definitely not a complainer and this is the very first negative restaurant review I have ever written. I still left a good tip. Maybe a little too good.

I freaking love this place! The fried pizza is unreal! I recommend the eggplant, as well. For after dinner, the espresso is dynamite and so is the pistachio gelato. Very friendly staff and professional management. They also have a full bar and pretty good wine selection for a family spot. If you live in Jupiter and want to grab a reasonably priced Italian dinner and some casual drinks, this is definitely the spot.

I've been eating at Costello's for a number of years, usually stopping in at lunchtime. The pizza is top notch, best in Palm Beach as far as I'm concerned. The calzones are also pretty hard to beat here. In addition to the great food, the staff is always friendly and service is consistently fast.

Went last night and had the black and white pizza. Great service and a very friendly owner. He came over and made sure our meal was satisfactory several times. Calamari was excellent, garlic knots garlicky( I like), Gelato --the bomb. If you are in Jupiter eat there now.

Nice crust! And it's really nice to go and sit outside on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy beer and pizza.

Good Pizza not the best I ever had. Service was slow and that was after we waited one hour for a table. They definitely need more wait staff on car show nights.

Never had the meals, but the pizza is very good. It also has outside seating, which is a big plus for us. We usually get a veggie with the whole wheat crust (to reduce our guilt). Service can be quite slow -- which is why I graded 4 and not 5.

Love this place! Pizza is outstanding with several sizes to choose from and the cheese is top notch. Oven fired crust that is crisp without being burnt and dry. Super friendly owner who is attentive and genuinely cares about his diners' experience. Tiramasu is a spectacular way to end your meal, but it is definitely for sharing!

This place really hit the spot! My kids went crazy for the pizza and garlic knots and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. It was reasonably priced and had a cute fun atmosphere. I definitely would return to this great little restaurant.

Last time I was at this place was probably in 2007. We revisited the restaurant on vacation hoping it was the same and to our surprise the food was not as good. I had a pizza because that is what I was in the mood for. It was very oily. But not terrible. My niece ordered a chicken caesar and the lettuce looked pretty wilted almost white. The garlic knots had tons of garlic on them, yet were not garlic-y tasting at all - i.e. not fresh garlic. I don't know what happened to this place, but oh well. Will know for next time not to waste our time/money.

This restaurant has good pizza and the owner and staff are friendly. It's really nice to sit outside in the breeze looking across at the green space. You can walk to the fountain afterwards and look around Abacoa Town Center. Here is a picture of the fountain: lotsafunmaps.com/South_F…

This pizzeria only has one waitress that is actually professional, has good customer service and knows what she is doing. The blond with the curly hair. My family and I had her as our waitress at our first experience eating there. That is the ONLY reason why I am giving two stars. Tonight, was Kids Eat Free in Abacoa at all of the restaurants. My son and I walked in at 7:43pm, were seated by a young waitress with black hair. She was absolutely horrible. She came over to take the order. I ordered the "kids pizza". I thought it was just a slice of pizza. She did't tell me it was a personal pie. I ordered a personal pie. She took the order at 7:50pm. I asked her when the food would be ready, because it was taking too long. She told me at 8:04 that it was ready. She didn't actually come to the table with the food until 8:15pm. At that point, my child was antsy, hungry and ready to leave and so was I. When the food was finally brought over, I was given an attitude. No apologies for the wait. They just placed the food down and walked away. I was given no napkins. I had to get up and get them myself. This waitress lacks customer service experience and definitely should not be working in the service industry. She actually told me that "there is no reason to be nasty", when I was simply stating my frustrations as to why the food was taking way too long and frustrated about the poor customer service! I had every right to express that. I told her regardless of the fact that I thought the kids pizza was a "slice" or not the bottom line is, the food took way too long and I was told it would be brought out and was kept waiting with my 3 year old waiting to eat. I was also told by her that the kids apple juice was included in the Kids eat free and then she charged me for it. Of course, It's only $1 and change, however it's the principal. When I expressed my frustration to another waitress, she was also non-apologetic and did;t really seem to care. Her excuse was "It's busy" Well, It was not too busy enough for three waitresses to handle 7 tables. Poor excuse for poor customer service. At one point, I looked back and saw all three of the waitresses and the cook, carrying on a conversation as if people weren't waiting for their food! Such BS! I will NEVER return back to this pizzeria. Food is just okay.

Very good service and very good pizza. I've come here 3 times -each time for pizza and salad and each time was great. I've never had anything else. I would recommend this place for really good pizza and a nice antipasto salad.

I had a thin-crust supreme pizza. The pizza and service were excellent. Kid-friendly and a good value. A cut above many of the places I've eaten in Abacoa.

Not too bad. Granddaughter has celiacs so the Gluten Free pizza was perfect. Call first to ensure they have it in stock. The soups were good.

This was date night with my husband and we chose Costello's based on a coupon in our Entertainment book and wanted to be adventurous by not eating at the same few places we love. SO sorry we branched out on this one. I asked the waiter first off if the coupon for buy one get one was good on all meals and he said yes! So hubby ordered chicken marsala (which by the way looked like it came out of a hospital cafeteria) with a sorry looking side of pasta, and I ordered the stromboli. Both of the dinners were awful with no flavor and I consider us pretty big foodies and I get very disappointed when I go out spending my time and money to get horrible food. The check came and we were told we couldn't use our coupon now. Wonderful, the food was HORRIBLE and now we had to pay for both dinners. The cost never affects our decision on a place but paying for a meal that was horrible (thought would be free so no biggie) and now we had to pay. Was told by another waitress that the manager would be right out to see us and guess who we never saw? I was seeing red at this point, so we just paid the bill and left. I know, I should have gone in to see the manager but I'M THE CUSTOMER......I think MANY places forget this now. I come to spend my money, relax, enjoy a good meal and be taken care of...not to be ignored or told I'm in the wrong. I'm a business owner....customers are always right! This was THE WORST experience we have had in YEARS and we eat out at least 2 times a week. I was very disappointed that I could have had a meal I knew was great but tried this place instead. Sorry excuse for a restaurant that I would be embarased to own!

I order takeout all the time. Their chicken parmigiana is rather good. Delivery is prompt (45 minutes)

OK so I typically just write reviews on places you must try but after very bad, bland food which I cannot stand for, I am writing this review. So let's start with the look of this restaurant. The look and appearance is very nice. Nice bar and nice outside seating area. The server was quick to come out and get our order although there was some confusion on how to use a coupon we had which at the end of our service was never applied and the manager never came out after we asked to speak to them. So obviously this was disappointing. The bigger problem here though was the food. They bring out rolls which are not warm or good and garlic heavy. Then I ordered the chicken Milanese while the wife ordered the Stromboli. My chicken was just a piece of very dry, bread and lemon flavored chicken on top of some lettuce. No sauce or anything. Horrible. The side of pasta was wet noodles with this horrible pasty like red sauce which had a hint of a ketchup flavor. I had to taste my wife's medium Stromboli which was enormous only to realize it had no flavor what so ever. Crust was thin and there is really nothing I can say to even give it any positives. Again I hate writing bad reviews as I try to only focus on good ones but if you can't make good food at any cost no mater what your budget is... Then I cannot figure out why you would be or stay open. This place needs a new chef and menu as it has a good location and the restaurant is nice looking.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
