OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE this place. They have an amazing beer selection and the food was great. Had a grilled chicken sandwich that was very yummy. The outside of the building wasn't too appealing as they are doing construction, but the inside was very nice. The customers were very friendly and classy. Did I mention I LOVE this place?? Leah was our server and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the beers and my order was perfect. This was my first visit and I will be back. Their motto is "Eat Local, Drink Local, Live Local." Welcome to Jensen Beach!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Amazing amount of beers. When my husband has no problem finding a beer he has not drank, you know the place is a keeper. The Stout BBQ sauce is delicious as is the homemade dressings. The staff was very friendly. I got the club on cibata and turned my fries into island fries. Heaven on a plate.

Surprisingly really good food but a little greasy. Huge beer selection and very nice and knowledgeable waitress. Very much a bar atmosphere but dinner was enjoyable.

I've been here a half a dozen times and every time has been great! Love the nuclear wings with a Jai Ali beer. Mac and cheese is awesome!!

This place is amazing if you love beer. My mom and her husband both got the fish Reuben and said it was really good. The bartender, Chris, was incredibly knowledgeable. I consider myself to be fairly aware of what I like as far as beer is considered and after ordering he brought me over two samples and explained that he thinks there's something that I would like better. One of the samples was what I ordered and one was what he thought I would like more, I didn't know which was which, and I ended up liking what he suggested way more and ended up ordering 2. Also, bc I'm from out of state, I really liked that they had taps devoted to FL beers. The only thing that wasn't perfect is that my boyfriend and I both ordered our burgers medium well and both came out almost well. They were still really good just not how we ordered them. I wish my local gastropub at home had a Chris. I will definitely make this a stop every time I'm down visiting my mom.

Ate lunch there today... had their white pizza, which was delicious. Last time I had their chicken sandwich, another excellent selection. They have 100 ' s of craft beers and their service is awesome! I definitely recommend this place and will become a regular...

I've been here twice now, both times for dinner. The food is great. First time I had the pulled pork flatbread. It was very rich and absolutely delicious. The second time I had the fish reuben sandwich--it was amazing. And the coleslaw was lovely, too--freshly made and very tasty. I'm dying to try the pizza. Actually, I'm dying to try everything on the menu. I'm not a beer drinker, but they do have a vast selection on tap. And their beer menu is very informative and an interesting read in and of itself. I'll be back here often.

Went to Castaways for the first time tonight. Amazing service (I think my waiters name was Chris- he was so nice and helpful), delicious food and great selection of beer on tap. Definitely will be going back as soon as possible! Grilled chicken flatbread is a must!

Went fot lunch and a few beers. Bartenders very helpful with selection of the 66 beers. Got a burger and the sweet potato fries. Both were great. Now have a couple new beers that I like. Will return many times!

This is a worthwhile stop ... The drafts are exceptional, especially the local craft pubs ... I tried the lime, cucumber, and jalapeño local draft, and would have sprung for a pint but the jalapeño was overwhelming. But, clean finish and no linger. I ended up with a patio pilsener from Cigar City in Tampa. Pizza here is excellent ... Don't hold back! Castaways was empty on this holiday, but we'll be bad to try it again!

Castaways has only been open a month or so, and I've been there about 8 times. Let that sink in.. They have 60-something beers on tap along with a fridge full of craft bottles/cans. Great prices for craft beer too ($3-$6 mostly). If you're a beer enthusiast, I promise they will have something that suits your taste. If not, they still have BL, ML, Etc.. Let's get to the food... OMG!!!! I'm still getting through the menu but every thing I've had is to die for. If you're in a group, get the Deep Fried Wickles as an app. Then get either the Reuben pizza or Philly cheese pizza. each is LOADED with huge portions of Corned Beef or Steak. If you're not into sharing, get The Grind (burger make from 50%bacon/50%short rib, it's insane) or get the Fish Reuben. I'm drooling just typing this. Lastly, the fries are good, but for your side, sub those out for either the Pub Mac or Homemade Sweet potato fries (best I've ever had). Check out Castaways!!

I've now lowered my rate after giving this place another chance. I was with some friends, who wanted to check them out. A few knew of my previous experience and needless to say, this time was worse than before. I will say the only bright spot was service. Our waitress was extremely good. The place was busy and I thought she did a very good job taking orders and making sure we had a drink in our hand. I'd give her 5 stars if I could. As for the food, I'd give it zero stars. The apps were pretty bad. The jalapeño poppers were nasty and cheap looking. I'm not sure if the peppers were even cooked and the way the bacon was wrapped around it was second rate dining. The stuffing wasn't too much better. The fried pickles came out with half of them clumped together, so you had to pull them apart and the breading would peel off. I ordered a burger and my friend got a salad with a steak in it. Both ordered medium and both came out well done. Another friend got some kind of Caribbean sandwich that was a mess to eat and bland. We order some other things that were not rememberable. Overall we wasted a lot of money on food and will not being going back again. I'm just baffled how people are having a good experience here unless there are comparing it to Burger King. Old Review I went here three times, once near the opening and twice a few months after. The service was good all three times. My issues were the beers and the food. First, the beer selection is quite large 60+ taps, which you would think would be great. However, a quarter of the taps are filled with Bud/Miller/Coors. When I came a few months after the opening, I notice many of the same beers on tap. Yes, they could have gotten more kegs of the same beers but that's doubtful. The place is too small to support that many lines of beer. The beers I ordered weren't that good and I've had those beers many times before at other places. The food menu is mostly sandwiches, which I'm love. I ordered burger each time. I got a portobello swiss burger the first time. I'm not what sauce was on it, but it was pretty bad tasting. I decided to get another beer the next time, because I thought they might have been off. I don't remember the name but the patty was 5050 short rib and bacon, which sounded great, and topped with cheese and more bacon. Well, it was pretty bland. Plus the patty was dry, which didn't seem right considering bacon is fatty. The one positive for both burgers were the sweet potato fries, which were damn good. I have no reason to come back.

In the first month this place has been open I have been here 6 times. I am slowly working my way through the entire menu. I have not found anything I did not like. Furthermore, the service has been spot on every single time. Lunch, dinner, at the bar, at a high top, at a table, it does not matter the service and experience is awesome. Oh, I forgot to mention 69 beers on tap, the selection is varied and will make any beer snob happy. This place is firing on all cylinders. On of my new favorite places. Jensen Beach needed a place like this.

I think this place is great for Martin County. They are definitely up on their speciality beer game. Food is made to order and always delicious. A must for a local craft beer lover! Good luck Castaways and I hope they will continue to thrive!

I love this place! It has a great atmosphere and I love the food. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a salad and fries and it was great. The service was a little slow and it wasn't crowded at all but they were friendly! I will be back soon! :)

Ate there the first time last week. It was pretty good. Our waitress knew the menu well and the beers. A lot of good beers on the menu and the nuclear wings were much better than chilis or wingzone or other wing places I've tried nearby. I had only one issue really. There was a dog outside and the waitress pet the dog before serving food to some. Other than that it was nice.

The service at this gastropub was awesome! I went with a group of over 30 people and they were very attentive! You couldnt really call it a traditional service because we were served buffet style... typical for a chamber meeting.... They kept a good rotation of food coming and everything was fresh! I will be back soon to see a traditional service!

I came for the beer and stayed for the food. Originally, I heard that Castaways had a great beer selection, which is why my husband and I wanted to try it out. They have around 60 taps and stuff that's really hard to find around town. The girls working are friendly and knowledgeable about the beer; always happy to make suggestions and offer samples. After a few high ABV beers, we ordered some chicken wings and another appetizer which were both excellent and decided we would come back. Local Dines had a coupon for Castaways, so the next time we went, we did so intending to eat dinner. We ordered the pork belly appetizer and the buffalo chicken pizza. Both were absolutely outstanding, if not slightly overindulgent. The beer and food are definitely 5-star worthy, however, though everyone has been quite friendly and polite, we've received pretty slow service a few of the times we've been. I also really don't like the atmosphere here. If it were a little less noisy and crowded, I'd probably stay longer and drink more.

Great food and drink! We had the chicken stuffed jalapeno poppers and Don Cubano sandwich... both were very tasty! Pros: Outstanding beer selection, great tasting food, polite, attentive wait staff, reasonably priced. Cons: None (except the intoxicated couple with the group at the bar loudly discussing HIS waxing experience)

I like this place. I mean I really like this place. I like the way it's decorated. I like the menu. I like the prices. & I really like the management. They seem always to be there and they care very much about food quality and service and cleanliness. It is really very much what a restaurant should be. If you like a Cuban sandwich definitely try the one at Castaways gastropub. On the lighter side I very much enjoy their spinach salad with feta cheese. And they have a king size wedge salad with blue cheese that is delicious. I'm not a beer drinker but I hear they have 60 some odd varieties of beer on tap. and if you're a sports fan, your favorite game likely will be on the big screen. Treat yourself at the gastropub. By the way, what is a gastropub?

I really liked this place...they have a small staff but offer great service ..our waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Awesome selection of beers and they offer small samples. The wings and Island Fries are good. They offer good portions at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Our wings were raw and slimy in the middle. They gave us 50% off the cost of the wings because we had eaten a couple and then told us "they weren't all undercooked so you probably won't get sick." Very poor customer service. Great pizza though.

Freshly painted on the outside....great little hangout with the best food! Little known fact about Castaways-you can have a platter of their famous wraps for your office party. Have you tried the Dagwood?? Sooo delicious! Croutons in their salad are unique and crunchy with the perfect amount of seasoning.

Beer! Myriad choices abound- I believe over 60 on tap alone. Many are Florida breweries, many wonderful selections in easy to read constantly updated digital flat screens. Food is really good pub fare. Great burgers, homemade Mac n cheese; so good! They do a great a job on food and service is always wonderful. Jack and crew always hospitable and make you feel comfortable. Bar seating and several tables, it's not a huge place but is quite comfortable, bright and cheerful decor and is always clean; to include restrooms (which are unisex). Prices are commensurate with selection, all reasonable and in line with area. I am very happy to have them in our community and have been there at least 4-5 times prior to writing this review. Great job so far! If you're looking for a damn good craft brew and a very original take on pub foods this is place to check out. Oh- they do great pizzas too!

66 taps, amazing food and outstanding service - it doesn't get any better than this! I found Castaways on Yelp and, honestly, it has been one of my finest finds. You have not had "poppers" until you have had them here - simply amazing! We followed it up with a Mushroom Swiss Burger and grilled zucchini, which we shared, and an order of Island Fries. And, yes, we still had to get a box for leftovers. Did I say this place was AMAZING! I can't wait for my next visit!
