Okay Arlington, apparently there are some gems tucked away throughout! The garlic shrimp here rocks! The shrimp is cooked so perfectly that it slices right out of it's tail. You can have the spices medium or spicy. I decided to try the boil side (corn, potato, sausage and an egg (weird)) with the pork and eat shrimp and I was not too impressed with that. Everything is swimming in butter, even the sausage, which I have to say it's more like a frankfurter. Maybe I'm a sausage snob now after traveling to the land of sausage (Hungary) and eating at Sausage Paradise here in Jax, but this wasn't my cup of sausage. It was made right, the snap was there and everything, but the taste didn't cut it. The people who work here are sooooo nice and friendly. It's a family business and they are dedicated and excited to serve you their food. The place is super clean and doesn't even smell fishing. This place is set up almost like a seafood deli, so there's seating but no tables. Food is to-go. Any lunch or dinner platter comes with corn, hush puppies, macaroni or potato salad. Great service, great people and great fresh seafood!
