The "Wing It" on main street is the only location I've ever been too, and I will never, ever, ever buy wings from any other wing place. I have been going to Wing It for almost 3 years now, and I have yet to taste a better wing anywhere else in Jacksonville prior to going there. This place is consistently good ALL THE TIME! I have never gotten a bad wing from Wing It. Their wings are a good size, very meaty, and not steroid type meaty, but just the right size. They have other good items too, but the wings are just plain ole simply Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat! My favorite is the mild Cajun and lemon pepper. I think what makes their wings so great is they stick to a few flavors and not go overboard with 50 million flavors. That way they can focus on constantly improving on what they serve before moving on to other flavors. I have seen them add a few different flavors over the 3 years I've been frequenting their place, but again, stick with what you're good at and you can't go wrong.

Good wings, prefer it over buffalo wild wing which is down the street.

The wings here are pretty good. If you get the Mint Magazine they always have coupons for buy 12 wings and get 12 for a dollars. The restaurant is family friendly with lots of booths and tables. They serve beer and wine. If you like you can sit at the bar. While waiting on your wings you fans play videos or watch tv. We always get friendly and quick service with a smile. They also have take out orders if you prefer. They are plenty of different sauces to choose from. I get medium Cajun with a side of ranch and I usually share a basket of French fries, which are hearty, hot and crispy. This place is worth a try.

A few caveats to this 4 star review: 1) I always get take out. 2) I use a buy 12 or more wings, get 12 free coupon. 3) I get my wings wet. I ordered 12 medium garlic & 12 cajun ranch tonight. 2nd time in a row I've had these. Considering my caveats, this is 1 of the best wing places. The wings are good size & taste after "swimming" in the sauces. 24 wings for $13.90 with a coupon. Not bad. The place is in a good location (strip with a # of businesses) not far from River City marketplace. The to go service went well. The staff was friendly & I was in & out quickly with a correct order. I've eaten here a number of times over the years but infrequently. Not sure if I've had anything other than wings before. The decor & setup looks fine for this restaurant type. It has a bar & a # of TVs spread throughout. I think they have some arcade games also. Both the inside & external look inviting. Only 1 guy was in there when i arrived: near 9:30pm on a Thurs.

We got our order to go. Like many others we ordered from Wingit because of the buy 12 get 12 for $1 coupon. We ordered the garlic something or the other and Cajun ranch along with an order of regular fries and an order of waffle fries. I'm generously giving a 2 star review because of sheer quantity. It fed three of us and we could have fed one more. The Cajun ranch was a little spicy. I didn't get "Cajun" and I didn't get "ranch" from the seasoning but the flavor was still good. The garlic wings were terrible. I LOVE garlic but this is just out of hand they were not flavored with garlic, they were completely covered in minced garlic. Once the wings were gone there was a half a cup of minced garlic left in the box. The Cajun ranch was also swimming in a puddle of seasoning and grease. The fries were mushy and had NO salt or seasoning. One very small plastic to-go cup of ranch or blue cheese per order. Just terribly executed food. It could be so much better. Don't over cook or over season/sauce the wings. Give the fries long enough in the fryer to crisp a little. Include enough dip to at least come close to being enough for 12 wings. And PLEASE throw a wet nap or two in the bag.

I really like the food here but it's a bit disturbing that they only have 1 news station playing every single time I come here. Fox so called news. Every other tv has sports.

I've eaten here several times. I'm a fan of the food. However tonight they lost all of my respect. After over an hour and twenty minutes we still haven't received our food, even though four tables that came in after us were delivered theirs. I finally went to cashier and my waitress told us our order wasn't showing up, even though she had previously told us it would be few minutes longer. I had to leave with an empty stomach. Cashier didn't even try to stop us.

Wow. Really bad experience here tonight, all service related. Popped in for $0.45 wing night. Place was busy, but not slammed. Picked a table, and was quickly greeted. Placed drink order, and waitress left to fetch it. While she was gone, I noticed that the table has not been wiped down. She returned with my drink, took my order (2 dozen wings) and scampered away before I could mention the table. Several minutes later, my drink was empty, and my server was nowhere to be found. A different server brought me my wings, but no bone plate. That was the last contact I had with any server until after I had finished all 24 wings. Oh, several flitted all around my table as new customers arrived, but nobody stopped by or asked 'can I get you anything?' About ten minutes after finishing my meal (without benefit of liquid refreshment), the original server returned and asked "Can I get you anything else?" and I asked for a drink to go, and the check. 12 minutes later (I timed it; I was curious) and after three trips to tables around me, my tea and check finally arrived with a suggestion - "If you take this up to the register, it will probably be quicker." Indeed. It will be a while before I return to Wing-it. The food was pretty good. Everything else... Um, no

Absolutely the worst wing place I've ever been too. The "hot" wing sauce is mild.. there is no heat to them, and they barley have any sauce on them. and the Fried pickles were GROSS, they were over cooked, and im not even sure if it had pickle in it! next the service is horrible, when I went to pay I was just standing there, and the girl looks and me and says "girl you have to give me a few minutes" this was very rude. and I wont ever go back to this place , again even if it was free I wouldnt dare return I'll drive up the road to dicks or buffalo wild wings.

Very good flavor, crispy fried wings, not battered, not undercooked with red veins running through ! Moderate sized though I could care less of the size if the flavor is there. Hot Garlic is Good. Competetively priced and with the buy 12 get 12 coupon in the Money Pages? or Mint you simply will not do better . Good burgers and quesadillas And salads. Best beer prices around ...draft and bottled. Great TVs for the game and the owner is attentive as to which games are on. I have read this place gets beat up on service and I can tell you I usually sit at the bar..but if I am at a table anywhere and get lousy service, I am going to walk over and let someone know about it. The place can get a little hectic on the Tuesday and Thursday special nights. Most of the staff is made up of individuals who have been there for a while (years), and I do think that they care. Gotta Try !

I will never again return to this restaurant. Picture this scenario: around 8pm you walk in to a full restaurant with 2-3 open tables around you so you tell yourself it's quite busy in here and you have no problem waiting for a waiter to get you to have you seated. So after you wait about 10 minutes a waiter comes sits you down to a unclean table, comes around cleans off the table and takes my drink order and give you a menu. Now it's around 8:15 when you get around to finally ordering your food. You play on your phone, watch tv, then realize it's now 9pm, and the "rush hour" died down but no food has arrived and your waiter doesn't come and update you on the food status. So you look around the restaurant trying to scope where your waiter is and ahh you realizing she's standing behind the bar texting. So eventually after waiting another 10 minutes for her to at least come over and give me an update or status but she continues to text on her phone. Eventually I get fed up and left the restaurant at 9:20. Never again will I return to this establishment, and unless you want to deal with TERRIBLE customer service I suggest you avoid this place and get your wing fix at 1. BW3s, 2. A&Ds, 3. Dicks Wings 4. Zaxby's all of which are less than 2 miles from this dump.

Not bad at all. I'm a little torn on this place for a rating. I want to give it 4 stars, but 3 seems to fit it better. The wings were decent, but nothing impressive. I paid $12.83 (including tax) for 12 wings. That's pretty steep coming in at $1.06 per wing. On Tuesday nights they have .45 wing night for dine in customers only. You are able to mix and match sauces. For instance I got 6 wings with hot garlic, and 6 with cajun. I honestly could not tell which flavor was what when I was eating them. Which is where my dilemma comes in. I think they need to sauce the wings more. I want to say the hot garlic were the better tasting ones, but I can't figure out which of the 6 were hot garlic and it's bugging me hah. However, one of the pair of 6 was better and was more sauced than the other 6 I had in my box. They were cooked just fine. The service was nice and the waitresses seemed really nice. I placed a to go order and it was ready within 20 minutes. Walked in, paid, and was out in about 3 minutes on a Tuesday night. Comparison to Bdubs (Buffalo Wild Wings): More meat on the bone per wing than Bdubs. Pretty much the same size wings for both places. In the sauce category Bdubs just simply can't be beat. I can't remember what 12 traditional wings cost at Bdubs, but I have a felling it is a little less than $13 that Wing-It charges. Comparison to Steaming Jax: No competition. Steaming Jax wins hands down in all categories.

Nothing really great about the place and it's really hard to not score well with me if you're a wing place. Place was dead on a Sunday afternoon. People from the parking lot were walking into the neighboring restaurants so that should have told us something. Food was out quick. Wings were ehhh and my wife cheese steak was blah. Fries were plain, no real taste at all. Throw some old bay or something on to them. The killer was when a friend of the staff walked up to an outside door with a puppy. Our waitress pet it and let the dog lick her hands then went in to greet a new table. The waitress never left my line of sight and she went and prepared their drinks without washing her hands. If the manager hasn't drilled cleanliness into his staffs heads then what's happening in the kitchen? Will NOT ever go there again and will let others know about this place. Epic fail.
