    Worst restaurant experience of my life! Not exaggerating any of this at all! Went to Wing Depot off University in Jacksonville, FL with friends for wings. A/C was dripping on a friend and his girlfriend and food, when he mentioned to another waitress she literally said very rude like, "and...you want me to turn the A/C off, then you can sweat?" he asked for a manager and the girl came over basically saying the same it's an A/C, then said he could move to a booth or we can leave then the guy owner came over rude as crap saying we can leave, I was like my Dad used to come here. He said well your Daddy should have told you not to, leave! We all left so shocked he follows us out yelling at us never to come back and we're nobody. Looked up reviews on this place and there are similar stories. I am going right now to leave a review on google, yelp, etc! Such mean people!

    DON"T DO IT!!! The food is NOT worth the treatment you receive. Don't dare say anything if the food YOU paid for is not to your liking! The owner, daughter and employees have the same nasty attitude!!! Will never go there again!

    You know I really really really wanted to like this place because the food is decent and the wings are on point. But the customer service is horrible. The owner is rude as heck as well as the daughter. I believe this place is not very welcoming of the black race or any other race. They are just rude and nasty people that work at the establishment. They don't know how to treat or talk to customers. This place gets a double FF. I honestly can't believe the way they treat paying customers. I called in an to an to order one evening and ask the girl who was taking my order if I could have light sauce on my wings. She told me no!!!! I ask her why not she replied we don't make our wings like that and there is no way we can put light sauce on the wings. She told me it wasn't her problem. She was extremely rude and nasty. But the funny thing is I just had called and place the same exact order two days prior and it wasn't a problem. This place is racist and unwelcoming. I don't understand how they stay in business and reading from the other Yelp reviews I see a lot of people feel the same way. Beware of Wing Depot. The place is the pits. Stay far far far far far far away. Very bad vibes here. Very strange and rude miserable people.

    Everything I have ever ordered is great. They have the best onion rings around. Wings and salads are really good and even small salads are huge. Food comes fast and is still hot! The only thing I didn't like was their Caesar dressing, they need a new one. It is kind of expensive but the portions are large so you get what you pay for!

    Father in Law wanted some wings to have while watching his KY Wildcat football game, so we called Wing Depot and got him 10 and he said they were excellent. the restaurant was very clean and the employees were very friendly. We will be back soon to load upn wings while watching sports on TV.

    This place has good wings but their cheesesteak blew me away!!! Make sure you get it with Cheese Whiz! My son and I normally don't even like these types of sandwiches but I decided to try one on a whim one day and I fell in love!

    BEWARE!!! For it has been confirmed that the animals (staff/management) have escaped their habitat and are firmly in charge... running things (into the ground) at THIS zoo!!! *NO actual animals were harmed or insulted during this review*

    Due to some of the recent social media coverage, I felt obliged to speak up about my experience as well. I wen't one time when I was living in Jacksonville, and all I can say is "stay away". staff (management) was incredibly rude and arrogant to my friends and I after we had a problem with the way something was cooked. Apparently the owners never read the manual on customer service, otherwise they would know that the customer is always right.

    The wings are good, not great. The burger was under cooked and raw. The owner has a very bad attitude and attacked me and my guests verbally because we wanted a medium cooked burger. This owner is essentially the Soup Nazi of wing places. Strongly recommend staying away, not worth the yelling at customers because of their failures. I was not going to leave this review till i mentioned it to a friend and they had a similar experience. Poor management like this is unheard of in the food service industry. Too many other wonderful places to have good food, good survice and a nice evening.

    Okay - the food is good, but the customer service is horrible. I'm not referring to the wait staff, but rather, the management. Scenario number one: on Sundays wings are on special for 60 cents apiece and don't come with any extras like bleu cheese or celery. A couple behind us sat down (evidently their first time in the place) and ordered some of the wings and asked for celery. They were told that they'd have to order a full price basket or some such nonsense to get what would amount to about 25 cents worth of celery (if that). The waitress was very kind - it's not her fault. But the couple got up and left. The restaurant would rather have paying customers walk out the door than give someone some celery, for heaven's sake! And you know that these people won't come back. Over a few pieces of celery. This tells you a bit about their customer service philosophy, which seems to be, "No customer service served here." The second scenario: the reason why we were there - it was father's day, and we had already gone out for lunch, so we wanted something easy and quick for dinner. I remembered that this restaurant had sent me an email earlier in the day saying (in effect) "We'll give you a gift on Father's Day. Come in and eat here and we'll give you a card for a discount off of your next visit." Okay, cool. We're in. But when we asked for the discount card upon paying, the waitress said, "Oh, well, you have to spend $50 and then you get a $5 discount card for your next visit, and if you spend over $50, you get a $10 one." What? I said, "Okay, so you have to spend exactly $50 to get a $5 card and then if you spend $50.01 you get a $10 card? The waitress was stumped on that one. But the point is that the email said absolutely nothing about a minimum purchase. Nothing. At best, it's misleading. At worst, it's downright dishonest. This restaurant seems to be doing everything possible to ensure that customers don't return.

    Stay away, unhappy people serving not great food. It's run like a boot camp. $$$$$$ for or what you get. The owners and family should look for a new line of work, so rude and nasty to deal with.

    Great, consistent wings-no radioactive sized chicken drumettes here, and you don't have to ask for "extra crispy" to avoid wings that seem boiled rather than fried. The hot sauce is good but medium by my standards, and the breaded and steak dusted are terrific. I was pleasantly surprised by their eclectic dessert menu. Friendly service, and ok for family trips even though there is a bar in the cozy dining area. We will return. Edited to add - my family and I are not whilte, and we have never experienced anything but hospitality and respect when dining at this restaurant.

    It took me three months to get over being mad at this place. But you can't beat Sunday special 10 wings at 60 cents a piece, dine in only. If you take out, you get charge full price. So dine in. My wine was good(Merlot). My fav is Lemon pepper/mild sauce.

    Rude And Racist!!! Wife sent an Order back because it wasn't what she Ordered, and was told "leave and never come back". I use to Enjoy this Restaurant, but not only will "never come back", I am encouraging Friends and Love Ones not to Tolerate this behavior.

    Boyfriend eats the wings here ALL THE TIME and somehow I am never able to try a bite. I really enjoy the fresh salads and they are reasonably priced for a "healthier" entree ...unlike fast food restaurants that charge you a minimum $7 for a prepackaged container w questionable meat. I've also tried the fried pickles and sadly I'm not a fan. The batter has a weird taste to what makes me think they come from a frozen bag. Super greasy. Not much flavor to them. Could use something other than salt like a nice pepper blend or fajita garlic mix. I also feel $6 was way too much to only have received a females handful of sliced pickles, I doubt it was even a whole giant pickles worth. To the lady below, specials should never be for carry out. They are to attract customers for dine-in only which is where most of the restaurants profit comes from.

    Good wings, a little on the expensive side. Delivery is always quick and on point! Never had any issues with racism or crime in the neighborhood (university blvd north) . Dine in, servers bust their asses and facilities are clean.

    I will no longer be frequenting the Wing Depot on University. The food was not that great and the service was TERRIBLE! Additionally, the manager/owner is racist, sexist, and mean to the elderly. I also witnessed him being incredibly disrespectful to a military veteran. He believes that it is acceptable behavior to be rude, confrontational and mean-spirited to the customers. He claims that he has been in the business for 20 years, clearly he didn't learn much during that period of time.

    Where do I start.... I rarely write bad reviews because everyone has their days. But today this establishment deserves this. I have been running my parents' business for 15+ years and left from my establishment to enjoy some wings and beer. We live near Wing Depot so it was convenient. My boyfriend wanted two flavors of wings and asked if that is possible to have 5 of each flavor. They both went back and forth on the options of wings, and then the order was placed. Instead 10 wings of each flavor came out to the table, which is too much. He didn't care if she charged him, or even cared if he had to eat that much. He just wanted to know if he had accidentally placed the wrong order for her to put that much wings on his plate. So he asked for the waitress. She responds, "I know what you said, I've been here for 10 years and never made a mistake, AND TO TOP IT OFF with a ATTITUDE- next time you order you have to be clear." EXCUSE Me!!! Was that necessary. My boyfriend and I are both business owners and we were very upset. We asked to speak to the owners and she responds with, "I'm the the owner, my parents and I own this place." So we requested to speak to her parents, the blonde curly glasses daughter of the establishment said, "she's busy". If I ever spoke that way running my parents' business, we would not have a continuing striving business of 15+ years. Never again will we return. On top of that, DO YOU THINK you are the ONLY wing joint in town? Best wishes, with that attitude... You'll need it.
