I've been going here for 20 yrs. It's pretty consistent in having good food & service though service is less consistent overall. I've noticed some locals literally hang out or they used too. .. Even have seen some sit outside in folding chairs & come in & out. Never saw that anywhere else in my entire life! Speaks to how welcoming it was. Had security there tonight. .. That's a first. Anyway it is recommended whenever you get that fuzzy wuzzy feeling for Waffle House. Cheese eggs are the best anywhere. They have good variety of items along with several specials.

I've tried eating here on 2 occasions and have regretted it both times. The food is just not good to me. The menu needs HELP. If you don't eat pork, you have like NO variety.

While the Waffle House may have some hot competition in the JAX Airport area, I think it's actually the best choice in simple diner food. Some may interpret the small 1960's looking diner to be an old waffle, but our servings of scrambled eggs, biscuits, home fries, and crispy bacon were very fresh and without a trace of grease. I could have had 3 servings of the same thing without hesitation, but as it was 2AM, I decided not to "pig out".

After flying all day long from Seattle to Jax, I was hungry as a bear. Saw this Waffle House and decided that a waffle sounded great. What a great place to stop after a long day. The staff was STUPENDOUS! Some of the nicest people you're likely to run into. They made this weary soul feel welcomed and appreciated. I had a cup of decaf coffee, some scrambled eggs and cheese and a nice waffle. The eggs were just right, the coffee was good, the waffle was nice and crisp, and the staff was so very helpful to this out of towner. Kudos! Service done right! There are a bunch of restaurants out there that could learn a lot from these nice folks.

This is a good Waffle House location. The food is served hot and fresh and tastes good... The staff is friendly for the most part. Like most 24 hour restaurants it can get busier on the weekend after bars and clubs close for the night. I'd avoid it at those times unless you don't mind possibly waiting a while.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great food. We found this place by chance and we are happy that we did. We were originally going to go to Shoney's on the other side of I-95, but it's no longer there. My tummy is grateful that the Waffle House is there. Also, Applebee's at 574 Busch Dr is no longer there either. Very happy with our Waffle House choice.
