Good beer and friendly folks. Simple 6 options and 4 sample flight is only $5 Kinda like drinking beer in a friends rec room or garage - not fancy hip or pretentious beer snobby - good place to relax try a few and take a growler home.

This is such a cool spot to go to! It is very hidden, so definitely look up the address first. But it is spotlessly clean, very hip, and the bartenders are very nice and knowledgeable about the beers they make there. They will help you with any questions about the beer, and also offer a beer flight with 4 sm beers for $5! Great way to try out what they brewin!

The best craft brewery in town. Eric and Alex are very welcoming and make everyone feel welcome. The beer is awesome and the tap room a great place to unwind from a busy day.

Take the tour!!!! Educational and fun. The tour guide was very knowledgable. I never knew how detailed the beer making process was. The brewery was started by Veterans so that's a plus. Their selection of beers are awesome. I tried "God Save The Queen" and it was amazing. I highly suggest trying Veterans United Craft Brewery.

I usually don't give five stars to anything unless it's insanely awesome, but I have to say that I really enjoy this place. They have plenty of space so even when people started showing up it didn't feel too crowded, the people in the tap room were friendly and the tour was fun. I don't have a problem with the location, it's really close to my home and my office, it's a place I might drop by on a Friday afternoon on my way home from work, either to hang around or to fill a growler for the weekend. My favorites, are the Cup O Joe and the Buzzin Bee.

I enjoyed all of the beers I tried in their beer flight. They had eight originals on tap for my trip. The tap room is nicely put together and has plenty of tables for small to medium size groups. Another plus was the live music in the taproom and a foodtruck outside on Friday evening. Only negative for me was the location. It is tucked away in a huge office park with no other food or retail anywhere close.

Take the tour for $5 you get 6 oz glass to keep and 3 tickets to sample the brew. I tried the GOD save the Queen, Buzzin Bee and Farmers Little Helper. I liked them all. I'm not really a beer drinker but I will do a sample. They also have wine, they were aging the barrels. This is cool place to chill out, talk , drink great beer and play board games ( which they provide .) Today they have a live band and food truck . This is a great place to try. Yes it made the " I'll return list".

Had a great time taking the tour and meeting up with fellow Yelpers!. The tour was really informative and afterwards we enjoyed some drinks. I had a few Hop Banchees and Farmer's Little Helper. I absolutely will be returning to this Brewery.

If you're looking for a great spot to have a few beers with friends, I highly suggest this place! I definitely enjoy a flight since I like to try different beers and this allows me to have a little of each.... The atmosphere in this bar is very inviting... There are plenty of tables to enjoy a tasty brew. The staff is nice and friendly... I must confess I think I've found a new beer drinking spot!

As a craft beer enthusiast (snob), I am pretty darn critical of breweries and the beer they produce. With that being said, let's get into it... Pros- Very clean taproom, somewhat predictable and vanilla (military theme), it's very well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The beers are solid, good flagship beers with some interesting one-offs. Cons- Really nothing to say bad about this brewery. If anything, I hope they expand their beers. I would hate for them to fall into the same bucket as Bold City.

Decent tap selection, but few guest taps. I'll keep coming back, but this place is still coming into it's own.

Love the Buzzin Bee! We had our daughter with us and they welcomed her! We played Jenga and relaxed! Will definitely bring our friends to the tasting room when they come to visit!

First off, I'd just like to say I am not a beer drinker. Can't stand the stuff. So what in the world am I doing here and why in the world am I giving it 5 stars? Well, most of my friends are beer drinkers and my hubby is a beer drinker and this is an amazing place to meet up! I've now been here twice with friends and had a wonderful time on both occasions. It's a nice space with large tables and bar stools that are actually comfortable. It's very clean and there's good lighting. They have games around for their patrons like Jenga and old school Battleship. You can get a flight of beers for only $5, or you can get a pint. They also have this huge Growler jug of beer. Apparently these are common, but again, I'm not a beer drinker, so i was pretty impressed with these things. I'm highly considering coming here to get one for hubby for his birthday (shhhhhh). Good thing I write a lot of reviews and he doesn't have time to read most of them so he's not likely to see I wrote that! :D If you are a beer snob, then this is the place for you. They have so many selections. They even have some type of espresso beer. I am sure there are multiple beers you will find to your liking here. It's a little hard to get to the place if you aren't familiar with the area, but once you turn onto Western Way, just follow the signs and you'll find the place with no problems. Yay for directional signs! I definitely look forward to coming back here many times in the future with my beer snob friends (I mean that as a total compliment... love you guys!) and my hubby. =)

This is a hip little local beer joint on the Southside. They offer a nice selection of in-house micro brews which can be ordered as a flight. For those who don't know, a flight of beer is usually 4-5 small glasses of different beers that you should drink in progression from light to dark. The option of doing a taste test of several different kinds of beer is a huge plus as there are so many craft beers available now. I am more of a light beer drinker and my favorite was the Hedgehog Hefeweizen which I found to be very refreshing! In addition, they offer a tour of their brewery with samples for a very reasonable price. Tours Every Saturday: 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm & 4:30pm ~ What's included? a guided tour, souvenir logo tasting glass & sample pours ~Cost: $5 Overall, I really liked the cool relaxed atmosphere and the service was great. My bartender was very knowledgeable and gave me free samples to help me decide. And although they don't offer food, there was a food truck parked outside and customers could bring their eats inside to enjoy with their brew. How cool is that?

5 stars. Enough said. You're still reading, so I will keep typing... This place is my new watering hole. Simple as that. Scout Dog 44 is as good as it gets, and a heck of a reason to drop the coin for a growler to take home for the game (not the Jags, but some other, real team). Also, if you are a beard enthusiast, this is like the Olympics for beard awesomeness, and I now have work to do to be back in that elite group. They also have live music, a good selection of games and entertainment, and they are K-9 friendly (if you are conscientious and friendly too). And as if that weren't enough, they have a food truck or two that varies and is guaranteed not to disappoint. The drive will take forever, and just before you are convinced that you are going to end up on a whodunit murder show, you will arrive. It is worth that brief moment of panic.

V for Victory at Veterans! I've stopped in twice and have been extremely happy with all the beers. VUBrew has got it goin' on. After weaving our way alllll the way to the end of Western Way, we happened to be interrupting an art 'class' of sorts that were sketching a pin-up girl. But the artist we sat with was super friendly and it was neat to watch her sketch away. I initially was going to get the Buzzing Bee Honey Wheat, but when I saw they offered a flight of four beers and they (currently) had four beers, I decided to put on my big girl britches and try them all. And I'm glad I did. Because I was super impressed with the whole lot and would have been ever so slightly underwhelmed with just the Honey Wheat. Don't get me wrong - it's a good beer - just not what I was expecting is all. On our second visit they had added an oatmeal espresso stout to the mix. In chatting with one of the bar keeps, he mentioned they would be tapping their small batches on Thursdays, so I'll definitely have to keep an eye on what makes a debut. They don't have food inside, but a food truck is usually parked outside if you were hungry.

Solid!!!! After our fitness event on Saturday, we decided to reward ourselves with a few cold brews, and it was a perfect excuse to go and check this new brewery out! So thankful for the signs on the way, to assure us we were headed to the right location. ;) (Just look for em, it's tucked back in an industrial area off Western Way...) The tap room is nice, sleek and clean... with tables and bar, and appears to be pup friendly. On to the beers: My party each ordered a flight so we could sample them all: The Raging Blond, Buzzing Bee Honey Wheat, Scout Dog 44 Amber ale, and the Hop Banshee, we I had tried (and loved) a few days before at The Blind Rabbit. I can seriously say I was super pleased with every single style, and each had it's own thing to love about it... The Ragin Blond was a nice light ale, with a perfect amount of hoppiness to it, but still refreshing and very drinkable. Perfect for a hot Florida day. The Honey Wheat took me by surprise.... not too sweet with a good body. Scout Dog Amber was perfect for all your sensations: nice chocolate hints on the nose, that tied in to a smokey taste and smooth end... and yep, my favorite, the Hop Banshee. Super hoppy, clean and crisp with a punch. Well done Veterans! You have a few new fans, and looking forward to coming back to refill our growler!

Hands down, best brewery in town. The tap room is by far the cleanest that I've ever seen. It's very comfortable and a lot of seating to hang out. They also provide different board games/card games so you can play at your table. The beer is great. They have different options and there is something for everyone. They also serve wine if you're with someone who isn't a beer fan. A flight of beer is only five bucks and is a good option so you can try four different types of beers. The Hop Banshee and Cup O' Joe are my favorites! They offer brewery tours on Saturdays so you can check out the back and see where the magic happens. The bartenders are very nice and welcoming and make sure you have a beer! They also know about the different beers and can help you chose. They have t-shirts, stickers, growlers, and now 6-packs for sale in the taproom. Go check them out!

The naughty rye is one of my favorite pale ales. Only one problem, they seem to run out of it before the weekend. It's made in small batches, so if you don't get there by Friday it's probably gone by Saturday.

Large tap room with enough seating for 50 or so. But the "belly-up" bar was limited to about 8-10 people. They had three of their beers available and two "guest" beers. 32 oz Growlers were either $8 to buy and $5 to refill or $5 to buy it and 8 to refill. I can't remember exactly. The large gallon growlers were $10 and $20 to fill up. Lots of old military posters on the walls. Saw a flyer for tours available. They also sell t-shirts. After I finish off my growler, I will be back to get it re-filled. I also overheard the bartender say they will re-fill any growler, it doesn't have to be one of theirs. You may want to call ahead to confirm this though. 9-20-14 update Love this place so much that I signed up for the mug club. I'll get an extra 4OZ of beer per glass, so in the long run it will pay for itself.

Reminds me of living in Los Angeles.... Can't smoke inside, can't drink outside. Go figure. Otherwise this is an OK place tucked away inside an industrial complex. Maybe next time you want to open a bar consider a space with a patio.

came in here for the first time last night (Saturday at 6:30 PM) and it was AWESOME! there was plenty of seating...and tons of board games! the beer was great...their raging blonde and the cup o joe were my favorite, but both their IPAs were delicious too! prices were pretty great..a flight and three beers was around $20 dollars! definitely check this place out if you are in the area!!

So sad to learn today that Hedge Hog (hefewieson) is considered a seasonal beer and is no longer available. This is awful, since they have the best hefe in town. I just wished i had been told it was seasonal one of the many times i was there having my growler filled...
