First off the customer service is amazing!!! I must've went on the right day because not only did I receive that stupendous customer service, but I also got a drink and extra onion rings ON THE HOUSE!! I ordered two GIANT cheeseburgers and a large order of onion rings! This is my go to order! The food taste even better than it smells, and that's definitely a satisfying feeling. If you go you must get the onion rings, they're huge and they don't have that hint of sweetness that most fast food places have (Sonics). So I'll end this lovely review by saying that if you're on the south, north or Westside of Jacksonville and want some fast food, stop by any of their locations! Everything from the fries, to the onion rings, the cheese burgers to the bacon burgers. DON'T FORGET THE STEAK IN A SACK!! It's yum! Happy Yelping...

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I went through drive-thru and ordered their steak in a sack. I took it home and found that the meat had absolutely no flavor. Zilch. The sandwich was terrible and no matter what I added, it was still flavorless. If you are expecting something like a Shawarma or Gyro (usually beef & lamb combo) found in Middle Eastern or Greek establishments, respectively.......you will NOT find it here so don't get your hopes up. Hindsight, I probably should have left when the girl at the window told me she had no clue what I was talking about, but I was craving thinly sliced marinated meat. And silly me, I figured they would have some of those Arabic flavors I was yearning for considering the name of their establishment is called "The Sheik." Go figure. :(

This is a typical breakfast and sandwich place... What isn't typical is the service, quality, and price !!! Great camel Riders, steak and a sack, cheeseburgers, and breakfast Pitas..

Fresh ingredients show in their food, but not the prices. Things are cooked to order, I didn't see anything hanging around waiting on customers to ask for it. I spent less than I would at McDonald's up the road for much higher quality of food. My burger was large, as advertised, the veggies and bun fresh. The fries were thicker than average fast food, hot, and tasty. The staff is friendly, and the place was very clean. Definitely a great spot to go for a burger and fries, recommended over the other options nearby!

If I wanted my order to get messed up I would've gone to McDonalds. I ordered a couple burgers and specifically asked for one to not have ketchup, the girl repeated such back to me. When I got around to the window I heard the people saying in the kitchen that one doesn't need ketchup, but both need mayo. So I was ready to eat my burger without ketchup, and after discovering one with ketchup I started eating with the other. But a few bites in I discover the offending condiment. I work in a restaurant, it isn't hard to do this people, get it together.

I have been here literally 3 times in about 3 years and each time left angry promising to never return. Stupid me! First time, young woman taking orders decided to process my $5.25 order through their POS reader for $525.00. Yep! It took me an hour of basically standing there showing myself to get her to actually pick the phone up and tell Vystar she screwed up. Wanted me to wait for owner to come back and credit me back causing a several day wait. Fast forward a year; same young woman, who I am now convinced has issues with over use of something. I'm thinking prescription drugs. Slurred speech, very slow lethargic. Asks every customer to repeat everything. Same exact personality again. What I remember most about this visit is no customers ahead of me, took my money right away, and 30 mins later still standing there waiting, and waiting. Brings us to this morning. Yep, same woman working taking orders and of course immediately taking money. Absolutely terrified to give her my debit card. Clearly, clearly, either on a fresh pain med high, or hungover. Slurred slow speech, watery blood shot eyes. Again, no one ahead of me. Simple right, nope, decided the drive through more important, therefore forgetting I'm standing there. Can't remember my order until she looks it up as she's handing me something. Then wants to re cook it. Sure, I have all day. No traffic to sit in, no work to go to. I guess I should mention a positive; my debit card appears to have been processed correctly today. For the fourth time- Never again!

Don't let the prices fool you, everything here is good. It's very small inside and it gets busy at lunch so I suggest hitting the drive through. They're very fast and the food is a lot better, and cheaper, than what you'll find at a national chain. Usually people focus on the meat in their sandwich but I'll say that the tomato, lettuce, and onion are actually really good here, and it just makes you realize how awful they are at other places.

Driving around one day with my LDC, we just wanted a snack. We surmised that a burger or even splitting a salad would be too much food and might ruin our planned dinner that night. So I suggested a steak in a sack from here. Its a half picket pita with thinly sliced beef and onions thats been grilled and shoved into the pocket. It was pipping hot, tender and delicious. I will have to get one just for me sometime.
