This place is a joke!! First off they touch your food and don't wear gloves!! The hot dogs are horrible with cold buns. Chili and slaw is also horrible. Don't know how this place is open and won't be back.

First time there and the staff was friendly. My family is large and we ended up having nine take out orders. They remained patient and the food was still hot when we got home. It was delicious and not very expensive. I will definitely recomend to others and I'd return in a heartbeat!

Not really sure how this place stays open. My hot dogs were a lower quality than any hot dog cart I ever had. Tater tots were cooked in grease so old they were almost black. The beans and chili I got were straight from a can. My $12 for two people would have been better spent at Sonic.

Its not that it's nasty or anything. The taste of the food is not bad, but it's nothing to scream about either. Pleasant cashier and environment. I had the sirloin burger, son had a buffalo chicken sandwich. My burger was a three star, my son's burger was a four star.

Minus the fact that they do not serve vegetarians here, the menu had a good selection. My husband and niece were able to eat and enjoy their beef hotbogs and chicken sandwiches. They liked the toppings options. The decor is simple and not overdone. Its a hotdog joint. Can't expect much. Decent price. Could venture here again. IF they serve veggie hotdogs or salmon dogs or something vegetarian besides French fries.

The cook was a complete asshole. The cashier got our order wrong and instead of trying to fix it he rediculed us for it. The food was mediocre definitely not worth the price we payed. I can goto a street cart and get better service then this place.

Just like the name implies, this is the spot for hot dogs. Hot, fresh, delicious and fast. Sure, there's other items on the menu, I'm sure they are as scrumptious as the chili cheese dog I usually get, but why mess with perfection?

I have to say I'm a little biased.. Because when I think of hot dogs I think of the hot dog vendors in NYC. So when I came across this place I had high expectations. The place itself is a little dingy but I have yet to be disappointed with their food. Living within walking distance of this place is dangerous. Coleslaw dog is spot on. I would love to see them clean up the place a little. But for to-go I'm certainly hooked.

Let me start off by saying "I can take or leave hot dogs" as they were never my really go to comfort food. I don't dislike them, I just won't go out of my way to get one. On the other hand my wife loves nothing better than a good hotdog with chili and slaw piled high on it. So being as we were over in Arlington the other day and I saw on Yelp about different hot dog places. I decided to surprise my wife and bring her here. What a good move on my part, she absolutely loved it. And I myself found that I really liked it too. My hot dog was grilled to perfection and piled high with grilled onions and loaded with just the right amount of ketchup and mustard. Needless to say that now every time we are are somewhere near there my wife will be begging me to take her back there and finally I have found a hot dog place I look forward to taking her back too again and again. My only complaint about the Hot Dog Spot is their hours of operation (they close at 3:30pm)... they just aren't open late enough to drop by after my wife gets off work.

Delicious Chicago hot dogs!! I ate here in late October of this year. They have great friendly service and so many options for the hot dog fan. Of course the regular hot dogs, but they also have polish sausages and bratwurst, as well as the Chicago-style hot dog I mentioned earlier. $3.39 if you want to taste the Windy City and $3.39 for awesome hot and crispy bacon cheese fries to go with it. Yes, it's all fatty and filling with fresh tasty ingredients and now my mouth is watering again.

Was here on a hot day. Felt an overwhelming urge for a super hot dog. I went here, my friend next door to Subway. The place was pretty empty, noticed the large selection of hot dogs which was good. The Chicago Style one caught my eye and I ordered that. I asked for water which typically would come from the soda dispenser, but they only had it on tap. Would be nice to have filtered as this was sink water really. Hot Dog arrived promptly and was very good. Lotsa condiments sprinkled on it which was great, exactly what I had hoped for. The place loses a star for unfiltered tap water, but going on their website, they definitely have the best site for a tiny restaurant. Very clean layout full menu in web and PDF form and pictures to show whats on the menu. Extra points for style!

My Dad & his S.O. frequent this joint so they took me when I was visiting them over Christmas. On the way there I was imagining the best hod dog I've ever eaten, grilled to perfection, in a fresh bun. However, when we got there, my Dad admitted that their favorite item on the menu was the Philly cheese steak. I'm flexible. So the three of us each ordered a Philly cheese steak. And I am so happy that I did. That thing was scrumptious. The steak was chopped fine and the cheese was melted to perfection. The bread was fresh, which I am notoriously picky about. Also, I love how you can have tater tots in lieu of fries. Very cool.

This little hot dog joint has been open for 9 years and they are delicious! Starting to become regulars here! Staff is very friendly. The menu has a lot of variety to it. They like to bring in foods that are made right here in Jacksonville!

Awesome little local hit dog place, which you really can't find anymore. They offer Philly cheese steaks as well, which I've heard are amazing. The line grows around lunchtime, but they're pretty fast and on top of their game. I had the chili cheese dog, my ultimate favorite hot dog concoction that a been made, and it was AMAZING. Pricing is good, and combos with fries, onion rings, or tater tots and a soda are available as well.
