Absolutely the best anniversary dinner spot I have been to. They held the gift I bought my wife in waiting and presented it to her at the table. Also complementary glass of champagne and appetizer hit the mark. Speaking of Mark, he was our server and pulled out all the stops. His wine selection was en pointe and his food selection, delmanaco steak with balsamic vinaigrette was amazing! Friends, Romans, Countrymen lend me your ears, stomach and wallet, this place is worth the price of admission. And just let them know a head of time it is a special occasion so they can make it extra special for ya!

Excellent service and I want to thank Olivia who was one of our servers. I had the aged Porterhouse... and I have had better steaks. Asparagus Soup was interesting and bread was real good. Don't forget your wallet. Overall recommended

Just wanted to comment on this restaurant. Capital grille is a tremendous dinning experience. I have been there twice and will continue as they have exceeded my expectations. I recently took my wife for her birthday and it was a awesome expierence with awesome food. I had the delmonico steak and my wife the fillet minion with African lobster tail. You must try this! You will not be disappointed. Delightful. They treated my wife with a birthday treat and it capped the night. I highly recommend for any occasion. Bob s

Food was good not great. Kitchen and bar very slow. Waitress did what she could. Valentines dinner so place was packed. Was a bit disappointed. Salmon was good, twice baked potatoes were only warm.

Where do I begin? Capital Grille is good, but extremely overpriced. It is a good experience, but its not the best around. This location has good service, great bartenders and good food. Everything does come out hot and seasoned properly. Just way overpriced. LOVE THE TRUFFLE FRIES!

Capital Grille is a nice restaurnat, no doubt about that. It's a 3.5 to 4 stars for me though because I am somewhat underwhelmed by their food. We went for an early dinner and opted to sit outdoors because the weather is nice enough. The band playing makes it a very nice atmosphere for a lazy afternoon / evening'ish dining experience. My husband and I shared the Waggu beef carpaccio for appy. It's one of the more exciting part of the meal in my opinion. The beef was indeed paper thin, nicely flavored and perfectly garnished by fresh arugula. For entree, my husband picked their signature Dry Aged Sirloin Steak. It was nicely flavored, but really no wow factor to justify the price. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and Pan Fried Calamari with Hot Cherry Peppers as my meal. The clam chowder was good, but the calamari has too much breading and not enough flavoring or kick. The bread basket was good, but you don't want the bread basket to be the best part of the meal when you are spending about $40 for a steak.... The service was excellent. Overall, we had a good experience with the atmosphere, and the food was decent. But I doubt I will be there any time soon though.

We went to the Capital Grill for our 6 year anniversary. The service was top notch and the food. The porcini rubbed Delmonico steak was a flavor explosion in my mouth. I really appreciated the anniversary extras that helped make our night special.

Great food The staff is excellent. The bar is a great place. The bar lamb chops with porcini rub are the best in town.

Had dinner here for a company event and I must say: wow. With the exception of the hostess trying to tell our 11 person party we could only bring 2 bottles of wine (which was resolved right away), it was a fantastic experience. With that said, I'm still rating The Capital Grille 5 stars. Our service staff was amazing and my water glass was never empty. We ordered the crab cakes, with massive chunks of fresh crab and calamari served with pickled peppers as a starter. We then moved on to the Caesar salad and caprese (with fresh mozzarella made fresh in-house every 2 hours). For our entree, served a la carte, I went with the dry-aged 14oz sirloin, once again, done in-house. Man, was it exactly what I wanted! The lobster Mac and cheese as a side was the best choice we could've made. Oven baked with chunks of lobster throughout. Finally, for dessert, we tried the 3 scoop ice cream dish, the hazelnut chocolate cake, and the creme brûlée topped with fresh berries. All paired with 20 year tawny port. It was a top-notch dining experience. The staff was attentive and very friendly, the food was incredible, and the ambience and atmosphere made the dining experience complete. Although The Capital Grille is pricy, for what you get, it's worth every penny and I'm definitely going back.

Overall I love capital grill and this one was one of the best. Staff was welcoming and organized. We had a reservation on a very busy night and didn't have to wait. Wine selection was great, waitress was knowledgable and always available. And good was terrific. My fillet was a little undercooked however they quickly took it backed and returned it with perfection. I will be back.

Best restaurant in town. Never been disappointed. Always feel comfortable as a single lady dinning alone. Sunshine and Candace are friendly and professional. Not great for kids unless they are older and well behaved. I am not anti kids in restaurants.

I have eaten here multiple times over the years. The food is top notch! Last night, we had Joy serve us and the service was not good. We sat for long waits while waiting for her return. I hope this is a one-off and is not a glimpse of the future.

I want to start by saying I have many years of experience eating in some of the very best and most famous steak houses in the country. Peter Lugers, Sparks, Gallagher's, Frank's, Ruth Chris to name only a few. I had a meeting close to The Capital Grille last night and thought I would give it a try. It was the worst steak house dinner I have ever had. I ordered the Porterhouse charred rare. It arrived neither charred nor rare. They were very quick to take it away and try again which I give them credit for but then the second one arrived with an apology that they could not do both charred and rare. I wound up with a gray, rare steak with no flavor what-so-ever. Clearly the kitchen does not have either the equipment or the talent to accommodate such a simple request. Only a few days earlier I ordered the same thing at the Ruth Chris in Ponte Vedra Beach and it came out sizzling with a cool center and delicious. My wife's fillet was very good. The décor and service was fine. Too bad, I will not return.

Wifey says...." This place is a good restaurant for a fancy date or business meeting. My husband and two kids walked in here thinking it was just an average American grille, however, way too fancy to bring kids here...the fact that they didn't have a kids menu and have white table cloths with wine glasses already on them before you sit down should have gave that away. However, the food is good, nothing too special here." Husband says..."Apparently this place is known for business lunches and dinner throughout the eastern coast, we weren't thinking only hungry. So we walk in there in our shorts and shirts, then we realize the waiters are dressed nicer than us...oops. For the price and food it's decent, nothing really that made me crave this place and want to go back again, minus the kids. Had the steak and well it was cooked good and tasted great, but so does Outback for half the cost.

Let's just start with the obvious: ridiculously overpriced. However, if you walk into the CG expecting anything less, then you probably deserve what you get. I've been here twice, seated outside once and inside once. Both times the service has been fabulous, though I would say better when seated inside. My husband and I were celebrating occasions both times we went. Both times they asked about our event when taking the reservation, and both times proceeded to ignore it when we were seated. If you're going to go to the trouble to ask why we're darkening your door, that creates the expectation that you're going to at least mention it when seating us. The first time both hubby and I had salads, which was a huge mistake. I could have eaten just the salad and not been able to finish it, though it was very good. I had the blue cheese wedge, which is covered in enough pig to make it a meal before we even start discussing a half cup of mayonnaise-based dressing. How can that be bad? Hubby had the Caesar which was also good. The second time we learned our lesson and split the Wagyu carpaccio, which was the best decision of the night. Ho. Ly. Crap. Peppery, bright, rich, perfectly balanced, and exceptionally good with the water cracker from the bread basket. As long as I'm mentioning it, the bread basket is also outstanding. Hubby had Delmonico both times, and I had filet the first time and lamb the second. All were well aged, properly prepared, and very good. We had gratin of potatoes and lobster mac and cheese the first time, and while the potatoes were pretty good, I was not what you would call impressed with the lobster mac. It wasn't particularly cheesy or decadent, just overly buttery. We've now also had the truffle fries and creamed corn. The truffle fries are what you have been looking for all your life. The creamed corn not so much - it is bacon-y and delicious but I found a silk or two and that doesn't make me happy. The corn is crisp and fresh and delightful, though. We happened to eat on a night during The Generous Pour, which is a wine tasting event. For $25 you get to taste some of the best wines in the house, in functionally unlimited quantities, so I'd do that again, no question. Unfortunately, even with tiny pours (and some not so tiny), somebody has to miss out or we're calling a cab. On the BIG plus side, I tried some things I'd never have tried otherwise (holy overpriced wine list, Batman!), and had a great time. Dessert is outstanding. We had coconut creme pie the first time, and literally ordered another to take home with our leftovers. The second time we got the creme brulee and the chocolate hazelnut cake. We gave up on the chocolate cake and took it home because it seemed like it would carry out better than the brulee. It was fabulous, even the next day. The brulee was also very good. I will add that there is a reason things taste good here, and I can only assume it's because each and every menu item has at least a week's worth of fat, saturated or otherwise. I always get a little ill the next day from the sheer volume of God-knows-what that I've put in my body. The steaks are good, the desserts are excellent, the service is outstanding, but it's all just a little overpriced (okay a lot). It's all very over the top, but I think for the money I'd rather have more subtlety and nuanced flavor than sheer volume of decadence.

What makes a restaurant a GREAT establishment regardless of the food? SERVICE!!! Let's take this review beyond the food because if you read other reviews you will see that the menu and quality of the food live up to expectation. However, in my mind what sets this establishment apart is the service. I feel as if they are reading my mind. The waitstaff show up or just before you need them - they are there when you need them and they are not there when you don't. Even with so much going on you feel you can have a private intimate conversation. Example: I am always offered a tasting of wine if I am unsure of the glass I want to get. This last go around I loved the wine so much that I took a picture of the label with my phone. The bartender had noticed this and removed the label and provided it to me for future reference. Onto the food: Outstanding! I am in love with the Delmonico porcini rubbed steak. The flavors are like a fireworks factory going off with some toss cigar - just unbelievable. Also you MUST MUST MUST try the Lobster Mac-n-Cheese side dish. This is a unique and signature side for The Capital Grille and it is all that and then some! Cheesy, yet firm, lobster but not overly seafood in taste with a lightly crisped topping... MMM MMM MMM Finally if you like wine and port they have an extensive selection that is reevaluated monthly taking into recent corporate purchases and seasonal influences. Also note that the valet parking on that side of the mall is validated by the hostess, even if you are only having drinks at the bar! Cheers and enjoy.

I came here when my husband came back from out to sea. We had an amazing time. We dined on the shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, and we both had a steak dinner with lobster mac and cheese. I had a steak with the peppercorn topping. Everything was awesome and they even took our photo to commemorate the occasion.

Went for lunch with a co-worker. Calmari for an app was awesome the peppers add a nice heat and brine flavor. We both got the burger which was juicy and full of flavor, everything you would want it to be. Service was awesome

Had my first experience with the CG last night. Very very enjoyable. The calamari and beef carpaccio started things off. Followed by Delmonicos and filets for everyone at the table. Steaks were fantastic. Cooked to each person's liking and very tender and full of flavor! Highly recommended for a nice dinner out.

Last Friday, I was having an amazing afternoon and decided to have a Stoli Doli before more shopping. My friend and I sat down at the bar which was crowded for the afternoon, but there was no bartender. I did not think anything of it, because I assumed one would be there momentarily. After five minutes, I started looking at all my recent purchases wondering if a bartender would ever appear. Meanwhile, staff members are walking behind us, which I thought would alert them to the fact of two women sitting at the bar with no drinks. After ten minutes, I start to think of all the super busy bars and cafes that I have been to and never have I waited so long without anyone on the staff acknowledging my presence. C'est la vie! I decided enough was enough and I was not going to let this disturb my happy afternoon. I asked my friend if she was annoyed at waiting over 10 minutes for a bartender to arrive. She stated she was extremely annoyed, but did not want to upset me. We both left in a hurry! The Jacksonville Capital Grill Bar is now the worst service or lack of service at a bar that I have ever had.

my husband and i randomly strolled into capital grille one afternoon. keep in mind -- my husband & i look like we are 16 or so.. though we arent. obviously. the hostess asked "can i help you?" in a rather condescending tone. we were off put by it -- so were said "uhhm -- we would like a table?" that was the first little bit that we experienced. the server was nice. the food was pretty good -- but was i impressed? nope. our bill was 160.00 -- and ive had better steaks from whole foods.. that i cooked myself. do i ever plan on going back? no thanks. this place is overpriced. it has alright food for the price. im going to agree with roaches F. on this one.

Me and my wife went to The Capital Grille. We had calamari for an appetizer. It didn't have enough flavor and came with no dipping sauce. I had the dry aged T-bone. It did not have a wow factor. My wife ordered the dry aged sirloin. The chunks were pretty small. The steaks were overpriced compared to Ruth Chris. I ordered the seared Porterhouse, medium. The steak was good, but you can get just as good a steak at Longhorn. It was seared a little too much, with some areas of the steak actually being burnt. I would have to say the best part of the meal was the mac and cheese, and J. Alexander's has that beat too. The final tab came out to $165, $200 even after the tip. If what you are looking for is an upscale steak house with good service and even better steaks, i would recommend Ruth Chris.

My experience at the Capital Grille was due to a lazy afternoon at the town center. I find myself very often walking up and down the streets of Town Center bouncing between Costco, Bono's, and the Apple store. This afternoon I was with a neighbor of mine and we decided to have lunch. We were welcomed right away and taken into the dark cool halls past the slightly obnoxious wine lockers with the names of sports stars, and the Jacksonville elite. Our table was a large 4 top with clean white table cloths. The Capital Grille's sports huge menus with typical premium steak house items. For lunch, their more casual and breezy service period, they serve items like steak sandwiches, Cesar salad, spinach salad, and lobster bisque. This afternoon they were offering a wine tasting along with their meal for a 10$ additional fee. Me being a fan of wine, and afternoon naps, couldn't not resist. Our server, and the wine sommelier came out to talk with us about our preferences. We ordered two salads, and two sandwiches and told them that wines were in their hands. What came out was a delightful afternoon lunch. Perhaps it was the good food, or perhaps it was the amount of tiny bubbles in my cava champagne at 1:00pm in the afternoon but I was shocked to find that my lunch had turned into a 2:30hr affair. The wines, 5 1oz pours were designed to give you a taste of different wines from around the regions they represented. After becoming buddy buddy with the servers the wine glasses started to increase in both number and the amount of wine served. This could be due to my gabbing with the wine steward, or a fake out from the wine fog I was in. The service and facilities are all top notch and with out a doubt the best in the town center plaza. And now for the food... My issue with Capital Grille is that they are a bully to the food. Think Charlie Sheen in Wall street and what he would order. This is the kind of place you will see people order a steak and eat it until they make themselves sick. I had the spinach salad and while it was large, the part that put it over the top was the chucks of bacon. Were talking knuckle sized, pieces of Wilber in what should be a healthy alternative to the mountains of meat that a steakhouse should be known for. I also had the lobster BLT, very nice but the sandwich part was a throw away; this should have just been lobster, and the greens. Don't get me wrong the food is all very good, but the amounts are large, and the flavors bold. Capital Grille, much like its rivals Ruth's' Chris and Morton's, is an all boys club. I'm not looking for tea cakes and doilies on my drinks but perhaps a little nuanced flavors would bring a welcome brightness. I'll give Capital Grille 3 stars because the food, and service is great, exactly what you would expect from a steak house. The problem I have is that there isn't really anything unique about the food, other then the overwhelming size and boldness of each dish. Don't get me wrong, there is a side of Capital Grill for the refined and light; its just covered under a mountain of steak.

Comparing this high-priced steakhouse to other high-end steakhouses like Ruth's Chris, Fleming's or Shula's is unfair. With exorbitantly high prices that don't even come close to what turns out to be an incredibly poor-quality meal, The Capital Grille is nothing more than an overpriced, overdone 70's-style fern bar minus the ferns that happens to serve expensive meats, and very expensive sides and salads. Simply stated, the prime(?) steak served here does not in any way compare to the absolutely perfectly prepared and buttery-tender delicious prime steaks you can get at Ruth's Chris just down the road in Ponte Vedra Beach. The sides are equally atrocious - a much-touted lobster Mac-n-cheese is nothing more than an excuse to wring as much money out of their clientele as possible - a $14 side dish? Come on, man! Don't bother - think about the $.79/box of Kraft Mac-n-cheese from your college dorm days, then add a couple of small, overcooked, rubbery pieces of lobster meat - what a colossal waste of money. The Caesar salad consisted of a few wilted pieces of Romaine topped w/a sliver of Parmesan Reggiano, day-old bread compressed and then flattened into inedible hard-tack flats that the server euphemistically called croutons, and then this all topped with a few smelly, outdated and certainly not fresh anchovy filets. Much, much better salads can be had at the Golden Corral salad bar, and did I mention for a lot less money? In summation, the prices at The Capital Grille are equal to or greater than Ruth's Chris and Fleming's, but the food isn't even equal to a Sizzler or a Golden Corral. Take it from me: don't waste your money or your appetite here - go to Ruth's.

Had a fantastic meal. 9 of us in our group and they also supplied a gluten free menu for 3 of our party. The parmesan truffle fries are amazing, the lobster bisque could be a meal by itself. I had the swordfish - cooked perfectly. Others had the lamb, filet, cod and EVERYONE thought it was amazing. Flourless chocolate cake for desert - rich and delicious. Yes, it is pricey - everything is ala carte, so plan on $60+ per person with 1 drink, appetizer, main course and desert. The least expensive main course is $27. Highly recommend and will definitely go back. Great service!!

Ambiance & decor is one of the nicest in JAX area. Table spacing is generous, and in semi-private rooms throughout the restaurant. Bartenders,Waitstaff, and all personnel are very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We both ordered steak, and the Delmonico porcini rubbed steak was outstanding. Their side dishes are very good as well. Very extensive wine list, at least 400 to choose from, and priced reasonably for the quality selections you will not find in other restaurants in JAX area. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will return again. It is pricey, but worth it!

I'm sure I would have gotten a better impression of this place had it not been Valentine's Day. It was incredibly crowded and noisy. Having said that, the ambiance and decor would be fantastic on a less busy night. The restaurant is dimly lit and the walls are decorated with game trophies and pictures of powerful men. For entertainment, there was a harp player close to our table - a very nice touch, but again, probably much better on a less noisy night. The waiter was personal and helpful, but we did wait a little while after finishing our meal before we got our check. Now, the food. The meals are all a la carte and every course that we ordered was HUGE. The calamari appetizer could've been a meal by itself. The 22 oz Delmonico steak was mouthwatering, and I still had about half of it left over for lunch the next day. I'd definitely recommend it to any steak lover. My date and I split an au gratin potatoes side dish - neither of us liked it, so unless you have a thing for au gratin potatoes, I would avoid ordering this dish. For desert, I had cheesecake with berries. It was very fluffy and light. Though we didn't order any, their wine list is enormous. We'll definitely be coming back here sometime on a less busy night. Plan on $60-80 per person for an appetizer, soup/salad, main course, dessert, and perhaps a side dish.

A fine, upscale, expensive experience. All the food was good. My favorite was the au gratin potatoes ($6), probably followed by the Kona-crusted dry-aged sirloin ($45), and the coconut cream pie ($9). The asparagus ($6) was pretty good too. An Old Fashioned cocktail ($14) was also good. You can get half orders of most of the sides, and I took advantage of that. The setting is upscale, about as luxurious as any restaurant in Jacksonville. I was eating at the bar. My server tried hard to be friendly, though he didn't succeed in making me comfortable as well as the best servers I've had. It's about as expensive as any place in town. I spent $102. Other than the value, I like everything about Capital Grille, and I look forward to going back. Note to self for my next visit: Yelpers recommend the truffle fries and lobster mac and cheese.

Just celebrated a late birthday lunch at Capital Grille. It was my first visit there and I was impressed! It started with a table that was decorated with confetti just for me and a card signed by what seemed to be every one of the staff! Nice touch! Then a couple of glasses of sparkling wine! Everyone was very courteous and friendly. No stuffieness at all. The host changed our napkins from white to black to avoid lint on my navy blue shirt! Very nice... My wife ordered scallops and risotto after having a really good lobster bisque (with big chunks of lobster in it!). I ordered the bone-in sirloin with parmesan truffle fries. All the food was great! What set this lunch apart was the service. I asked for bernaise sauce, but they didn't have any, so they made me some! Then they took our picture and put it in a nice folder as a keepsake and as if that were not enough, they brought us a nice plate of dessert! Flourless chocolate espresso cake with whipped cream and raspberries and a bruleed cheese cake with strawberries! And by the way, the bubbly, the picture, the bernaise sauce and the dessert were complimentary! We'll be for a special dinner soon!

Great food, great ambiance. Very good place to go to for special occasions. I had the Delmonico steak with balsamic glaze, my wife the Sirloin with Bleu cheese and caberbet reduction, and we shared the mozzarella app and twice baked potato. We each had a Manhattan to drink. All in all, everything was perfect. No other way to put it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

A great evening with the wife! Terrific steak and seafood! The appetizers are high quality, as are the desserts. The meals are expensive, but the quality of the food doesn't make you regret it! The service is impeccable, as is the atmosphere. I eat here at least once a week with my work, and this was my wife's first experience. It is a wonderful treat to share with wonderful company!

We stopped coming back form S. Florida and decided to have a great dinner. Valet the car, got a table, had an amazing meal. The Lobster mac and cheese was awesome. I had a Delmonico and it was cooked MR to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we left. Driving back to I-95 I went to play some music on my iPod that was hooked to the cable connector in the stereo. It was gone. I had been playing it for hours until we valeted the car. We ate. Now its gone. I called the restaurant and I was told they were not responsible for any missing items in the vehicle that was valeted and they were very sorry. Well I know good and well the kid that took the car took the iPod, AND I TIPPED THE JOKER!! A great meal was ruined and I will not return. Do Not leave anything out if you use the Valet at Capital Grille!!

Dinner on Christmas Eve. Good filet and twice baked baked potato with asparagus. My dining companion had filet medallions. The service was excellent. The potato was dropped in the kitchen and had to be redone. Chef apologized. We were given that side item free. I thought that was the correct thing to do. At dinner's end we received a complimentary dessert which I do not feel was needed, although it was a nice touch. About $125 for two excluding tip. Next to Nordstrom at the mall. Lunch menu is very very reasonable offering prix fixe menus at about $30 each. This is a chain, but it is very nice, and the food and service are excellent.Sides are enough for two people , so do not over order.

Had a very good meal here. Nothing sets the tone for a good meal like a variety of bread brought out after sitting down. Delicious!! The service was fantastic too. My boyfriend and I split the lobster and crab cakes which were fantastic and the perfect size. I got the sea bass meal for dinner which was okay, not my favorite dish that I've gotten from the capital grille. Wouldn't recommend it. My boyfriend loved his steak special tho. We had a berry dessert with vanilla creme that was a great way to end a satisfying meal.

It doesn't get any better than this experience...at least for me. 5 Star service, 5 star food, 5 star atmosphere...hands down. If you've read my reviews...I'm picky...and it pretty much takes an Oscar winning performance to get 5 stars from me. I went there for my birthday dinner with my mom and a family friend. It was a nice summer day out, so we elected to sit out on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. Tricia (our server) was a winner from the get-go. She took the time to describe the different dinner specials, also making suggestions from the extensive wine list, and didn't rush us through the ordering process. Sunshine, who served as our bartender that evening, also deserves credit for best supporting performance, as our drinks were made spot-on and her personality matches the name to a tee. The crock of french onion soup is straight up heaven in a bowl, with a lovely layer of bubbly melted cheese over the top. Paired with the house salad, I couldn't have asked for a better meal. Mom and friend had the "grouper special" with roasted seasonal vegetables, and they finished every bite, even after the basket of fresh bread we scarfed. When our plates were cleared, Tricia emerged from the back with a complimentary dessert to say "Happy Birthday." Oh wow. A mouth watering creme brulee topped with assorted fresh berries. It was awesome...that whole experience was truly awesome, and 'Im already imagining myself there for a next visit. Bravo!

I had heard so many great things, I made reservations for a special occasion to treat 4 of my friends. I arrived first and waited at least 5 minutes before a busboy came to the table with water. About 5 minutes later, the waitress showed up to ask if I would like something to drink. After my friends came, service did not improve. When bringing drinks, the waitress threw straws in the center of the table. One of the ladies asked for lemon and another asked for additional ice. Neither was ever brought to the table. I had watched the waitress at her other tables explains "specials", but when she came to take our orders she only asked what we wanted. I had to ask about any specials. We had to continuously had to ask for refills on our drinks. When we were through, we sat with our dirty dishes on the table for over 10 minutes. I didn't want to make a "big" deal in front of my friends because this was suppose to be a special night. So after I left the restaurant, I called and spoke to a floor manager. She took all of the information and told me she would have the Managing Owner call me the next time. He never called. I have eaten at many 5 star restaurants and had never had such poor service. I just think when your bill is over $60 pp, the service should match the price paid. My experience was nothing like the reviews posted. So sad.

I have to tell you that this is one of the best places in Jacksonville if your searching for impeccable service and great steaks when price is not an option. The drinks in their bar are excessively high priced compared to most other restaurants in the area however. Many times getting seated at your reservation time can also be an issue, and this is something that management needs to work out. With that said, you will struggle to find better, more consistent, service anywhere. I have never been disappointed by any of their menu items, however the coconut creme pie, the best I had ever had when I first visited them, had such a mountain of whipped cream during my last visit that it was just significantly too much and threw the flavor profile way off. If you look at my pictures they will go out of their way to celebrate your special occasion. The only other negative at this location is parking. Self-parking is a nightmare as much of the close parking is reserved by the valet and construction takes up a majority of the rest of the spaces. They used to have free valet, but switched to charging a few months back. I don't mind leaving a great tip with the valet, but having a charge for valet at a higher end restaurant is just tacky. Also, when they went to a fee for valet model, it seems like service took a nose dive. Hey Capital Grille...are you listening? Your world class service might just be permanently tarnished by the valet/parking decisions being made!

This was my first time eating lunch here, at the suggestion of a friend. As always, the service was impeccable. We were greeted very quickly, and within a few minutes of being sat at the table we had some bread and water delivered. I ordered the Ribeye Steak Sandwich with Caramelized Onions and Havarti while Buddy ordered the Maine Lobster Roll on Toasted Brioche, being from New England. We split each other's sandwiches so we were able to try both. I have to admit the best part of it was the truffle fries. While the steak was cooked perfectly, rare as I asked, both of them were lacking in flavor. It just didn't wow me. All I continue to think of is the Whisky Burger I got at Blind Rabbit. I'll absolutely continue to go to Capital Grille for dinner, as I think it's simply amazing. If you haven't tried their lobster mac and cheese you need to go tonight! As far as lunch is concerned, I might try it again in the future, but for now I'll head elsewhere.

I've been to a lot of high end restaurants name it and I've probably been there. This one just didn't do it for me, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary which we usually do at Roy's. The atmosphere vibe wasn't romantic, although our table looked the part. It was more like rush, fast paced money making fancy restaurant. We spent around $240 on a meal for two which was expected, I just wish we enjoyed our wedding anniversary date more. Steak was good, the lobster macaroni was under cook and drinks was just okay. Not going back ever!!!

I ate here with a group of medical professionals for a speaker dinner and received my salad plate for the first course. I ate about half of my salad when I noticed something small on the edge of my plate, thinking it was part of the salad, but I noticed it was MOVING! It was a WORM. Needless to say I was thoroughly disgusted and stopped eating my salad but in the middle of the speaker talk, did not feel it was appropriate timing to draw attention to it out of politeness to the speaker and the group of professionals in the room. I waited the next day to mention it and spoke with the manager who proceeded to tell me that they receive their produce fresh everyday and "triple wash" each item, in sum, implying that there could not have been a worm in my salad. I was very disappointed with this response and it really did seem he did not care at all. Needless to say, I have mentioned it to many of my colleagues and they will not be returning to this restaurant, nor will I. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed our visit to Capital Grill very much. Carlos our waiter was very good and attentive. And his assistants were very attentive and polite as well. We split the 24 ounce porterhouse with the kona rub. The steak was perfectly done and was delicious. Our sides were the lobster Mac n cheese delicious as well. The other side was roasted beets with goat cheese. Which was unique and tasty if you like beets. Our salad was the caprese which was excellent. The bread basket was very good with the onion bread being our favorite.

We had a dinner meeting with a couple customers and our local team made reservations at CG. Do I get a complimentary set of steak knives when I've made it to 20 locations? I may be close. Our server was outstanding. I let her know my spending limit up front (thank you healthcare compliance) and she managed the menu. She was also able to work the meal without limiting our discussion. As for the food, it's great. My filet was perfectly done and the frites were delish. Working on those steak knives...

I had to back up Melinda here. I too have attended professional meetings here on many occasions. Unbelievably, I've had the same experience with finding an insect in my salad. Obviously whoever is on salad prep is doing a lackluster job. Beware of salads. When I pointed it out, they simply offered to bring a new one... 2 incidents with insects in the roughage will be my last. Otherwise, the steaks are delicious.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The manager Dale Stout and My Server (He had the Buddy Holly glasses on) were the best and as soon as we came in Candance at the bar is quite the conversationalist and mixologist. The food was awesomeit was perfectly cooked and presented. The wife's dish also wonderful. This is one of those places where your food is wonderful and then you share and you say maybe I should have ordered that, just as good but different flavoring attracts you. It is pricey but it is where the quality of service, food and ambiance meet and exceed the pricing. Kudos to Capitol Grille & Staff for a Job well done. I have tried other places in town that consider themselves on your level (Matthews) but they are but a shadow.

Had an excellent time at Capital Grille! We brought our own wines in with 8 people and did a "blind taste test". The staff did everything to accommodate us. They were excellent! The food was outstanding. Have been here in the past for special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries. Would highly recommend since they really go all out for a special celebration. Servers are top-notch!!

The Capital Grille is a great place to enjoy a meal and a drink with friends. It's pricey, no doubt, but the service I've received there has always been top-notch. I generally go with friends who eat there -a lot-, and that may have some bearing on the level of service we get, but it's wonderful to go to a restaurant and have the same server from 3 months ago, and have her remember what drink you like, or how you like your steak, or that you don't like onions on your salad, or whatever. I've been there 3 times in the past two weeks, and wouldn't mind going back again this week, though I don't think that's in the cards. They're changing the menu a bit this week, too, removing a couple of the seafood items (swordfish was one), and adding others (sea bass is new.) Have I ever been disappointed with the food? I can think of one time when the asparagus was a bit woody, but the server quickly replaced it with something else when I mentioned it, and dropped it from the bill. It's an indulgence, of sorts. Could I cook the same $40 steak at home just as well? Could I get the same steak at Longhorn or Outback? Maybe, and it would likely cost less, but the total package is what you're buying here -- the steak AND the sizzle. Occasionally I LIKE being pampered, and that's one thing (among many) that the Capital Grille has nailed. 4.5 stars.

I had the pleasure of taking my beautiful wife to Capital Grill St. Johns Town Center for her birthday. From the moment we walked in to stepping out the door to go home everything was phenomenal. Joshua at the bar was a riot and ensured we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our table then came available before our appetizer was ready Joshua was on his game and immediately went to our servers to ensure that the appetizer would follow us to our table. Towards the end of our meal in the dining area Joshua came over to check on our experience and to get some feedback, something I've never known a bartender to do. Brandy was our server in the main dining area. Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and considerate are just a few things that come to mind. She was extremely knowledgeable with the menu, suggested a few items to my wife to ensure she was both aware and educated prior to ordering. I personally took Joshua's suggestion on the PORCINI CRUSTED DELMONICO and couldn't have been happier. This was hands down one of the most outstanding dining experiences I have ever had.

I went with some friends the night before the super bowl to celebrate. Our team ended up losing the game, but the dinner was great. After intense deliberation and a few bourbons, I decided on the delmonico steak. I'm drooling on my keyboard as I think about this steak. It was legit. And a little background info.... I don't eat beef unless it's a special occasion and I know it's high quality meat. Overall, the bourbon was legit. the service was great, the sides were awesome, the atmosphere on a Saturday night was on, and the steak could not have been better. If you want a nice steak place in Jacksonville, there's no choice. Go to Capital Grille; definitely over Ruth Chris.

Incredible food!! Pricey but worth every penny. From the moment you walk in, the staff and food is top notch. The lobster Mac and cheese is out of this world good as well as their filet. Our waitress went over the menu with us, explained the different rubs and marinades, even gave us suggestions and recommendations. The portions are huge, so even though you are spending more, trust me it's worth the flavor and portion size. Never in my life have I had a filet that good. My husband and I spent $160 (w/ tip, no alcohol.)

Excellent experience. Ambiance, wait staff and quality were all 100% and worth it. Went a little lobster crazy on the Thursday night we visited. The food was superb: Appetizer - Crab and Lobster Cakes They were absolutely loaded with crab and lobster, not short on the seafood like so many crab/lobster cakes are. The flavors, corn salsa and sauce that accompanied the dish were very very good. I was really impressed with this dish, Soup - Lobster Bisque They might want to call it bowl of lobster meat with a little soup on top. This is a good thing in my opinion. The soup itself was rich and tasty and the added sherry was balancing. It's not on the menu, but really worth asking for and getting. Entrée - Filet & Lobster Tails Interestingly, the only part of the meal that had any hiccups. One of the two filet mignon medallions (4oz each) was cooked to medium/medium well (ordered Med Rare). The other medallion was perfect. My wife (who got the same dish) experienced the same thing. The lobster tails and steak had too much parsley on them as well. Garnish gone wild. The flavors and tenderness of the lobster was excellent. The quality and flavor of the filets were also world class. The Sides - Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus Potatoes were rich and well textured. Flavors were great. The asparagus was the real star. The lemon flavor on these was a great play. I really enjoyed the sides. Overall great meal! I'd definitely come back.

After a long debate about where to eat, my dad and I finally ended up at Capital Grill. He had been there once before and this was my first time. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a hostess, they asked us for our reservation and I immediately sank... Did we need one? Probably, but the hostess said not a problem and set us up with a great table. I was immediately impressed with their wine lockers. They are engraved gold plaques placed neatly in the first hallway. Our waitress, Becca, was outstanding. Since it was my first time she explained the aging process that they put their steaks through and gave me a great recommendation. I had the Aged Balsamic Steak, and it was to die for! My dad and I split two sides, and we chose the bacon corn and the Mac n cheese lobster... I had one bite of the corn and was done! The Mac n cheese was AMAZING though! I was not able to finish it all, as my steak was bigger than my face, but it was just as great the day after, if not better. Not to say the corn was "bad," my taste buds just did not like it, but my dad however loved it!! He ordered a Malbec wine, they offer by the glass or by the bottle. He had two glasses and decided he needed to stop. I sipped off of his wine, and it was stronnnggg! Not bad, just the one that will have you dancing on tables by the end of the night. We glanced over the dessert menu but decided we were just too full. I loved the decor, the bar reminded me of Ruth's Chris, I didn't get too see the full restaurant, but next time I go will take a little peak!r

I come from a very blue-collar background; therefore, I'm always initially leery of any place that requires reservations. Alas, I took my dearest to The Capital Grille for Valentine's Day this year. Unfortunately, the only praiseworthy part of this experience was the taste of the overpriced steak(s). Let me be clear and unwavering when I need to give this place its props: THE STEAK WAS DEFINITELY UNBELIEVABLE. I repeat, the steaks we ordered made me pee a little bit, but not a lot. But everything else about that place didn't sit right with me. First, the place was slammed when we arrived, so the only available table was near the kitchen, near the stoves, near the heat. Keep in mind that this is a suit jacket and tie type place. Needless to say, I lost 67 pounds in water weight. Second, the waiter we had just so happened to be serving his BFFs at the table next to us. This meant that our waiter spent more time with them and completely ignored us after our food was delivered. It cannot be overstated how expensive the food is at The Capital Grille. This is a restaurant for people for whom money hasn't been, isn't now and never will be a problem.

Matt, our server, was excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection, all our filets were delicious & my South African lobster tail was soft and flavourful. The sides we chose were Au Gratin potatoes, sautéed wild mushrooms, and grilled asparagus. The sides were good & complimented our entrees perfectly. Dining room was elegant with mounted deer, rams and paintings. We didn't sample the large wine room but reserved that for our 2nd visit. Managers, Ben & Melissa, both came around at different times to check on our experiences. For steaks I would recommend, but I have had better.

This restaurant was absolutely exceptional in every way. Beautiful dining room and ambience. Bill, our server was attentive, courteous and made us feel right at home. Cocktails were great--served quickly and ice cold. These were the Perfect Martinis! But on to the entrees... The steaks, were absolutely perfect cuts. I had the ribeye, it was cooked with a perfectly charred crust, precisely medium rare and succulent. My wife had a perfectly broiled lobster, my son had a sizzling porterhouse. The desserts-- best cheese cake this side of NY, beautiful creme brulle and excellent chocolate cake. I've been to other Capital Grilles; this one is the best!

But of course...they can't be rated anything below 5 stars! We actually went to try their Kobe burgers at the bar. We were on our way to a party, so a full sit down dinner wasn't in the plan and the special they have at the bar was just perfect! Until November 23rd you can get an out of this world Kibe burger (pick from 3 kinds) paired with a very generous top notch wine. Absolutely delicious! The burger comes with a side of truffle fries. Loved it! Next time we will go for steak and actually get a table

Wonderful! Went here for our wedding anniversary. I had the sea bass and it was delicious!! Nice size and well seasoned. My wife had the porterhouse steak and she loved it. It was tender and cooked perfect for her (medium). Once we arrived at our table it was decorated with a rose and small hearts. It was very cute and thoughtful. We loved this place. Our waitress was Lindsey and she was a doll!! We also received complimentary champagne and dessert. Yummy!!

My first visit was to celebrate my Anniversary with my husband. Wonderful first impression! Lovely decor and they took the care to dress our table with 2 long stem red roses and confetti. Nice touch! The menu is ala carte and my husband ordered the $50 Porterhouse Steak. It was so tender and aged beautifully! Ordered the Lobster Mac but it was not as good as expected but edible. Was grainy and oily. Ordered a side of their $10 delectable Cream Corn. The $20 (non-generous pour) of red wine was tasty. The Grilled Salmon was cooked perfectly and flaked appropriately. Service was impeccable and what you'd expect in an upscale restaurant. Our server took a keep sake photo of us and printed it out and placed it in a card with the staff's written congrats. So nice and the Manager took the time to stop by our table and wish us a nice Anniversary. Thst was a nice touch along with a complimentary dessert to share with 'Happy Anniversary" stenciled in chocolate on our plate! My only observation is that they don't have a Happy Hour. I would certainly visit more often if they did.

We decided to treat ourselves to a good lunch today and picked Capital Grille. Made a reservation and showed up on time. The host was busy on the phone but quickly got to us. He informed us that due to some technical difficulties they were unable to cook any foods. BUMMER. But any of their cold items were available. We were good with that. In additiona, the host also gave us a couple of coupons for free drinks "Stoli Doli". Since my wife had her heart set on a lobster roll and that was one of the available dishes, she was set. I opted for the lobster roll too. The food was good, service was good. The Stoli's were very good. So the Capital Grille did the best that they could do based upon the issues that they had.

My visit to Capital Grille was for a recent work visit. I found it to be subpar given the expected quality that comes with its upscale feel. The air conditioner was clearly broken in parts of the restaurant, but the temporary units they brought in were not keeping up. I had a Kona crusted sirloin which was good but not excellent. I also don't feel these classic style restaurants have kept up with the times in that there are few healthy vegetable side items. Most items are really rich and heavy.

The ambiance is sexy, smoky, dimly lit, & sultry. It's calm; dress classy, trendy - demure naughty. Seating is oversized leather chairs- on wheels. Wine, lots of selections. Order a nice bottle of red, tuck back in a corner by bar ... The food is expensive but worth every penny. The porterhouse is indescribable. The staff top notch,I don't impress easily. Naomi did magnificent. Crème Brûlée is the happy ending!

Dined here during a business trip with my bosses. The staff were more than amicable and were very attentive to our needs. We sat at the bar for a more casual dining experience. The wine and mixed drinks we had tasted amazing. Even better were the burgers we ordered. My burger was cooked to a perfect 'medium' and the truffle fries were seasoned impeccably. I have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

This is one of my favorite places to go for a special occasion in Jax. I have been here twice- once for my birthday and once for my boyfriend and I's anniversary-and both times the service was impeccable and the food was top notch. They had confetti on the table, many of the staff stopped by to wish us happy anniversary/birthday, and they even took our picture and put it in a card for us to remember the occasion. The way that they acknowledge your special occasion is classy and personal-no being forced to sit on a saddle while the restaurant "Woo-hoo's" your birthday, or enduring a loud, off-key screaming rendition of "Happy Birthday," by less-than-enthusiastic waitstaff here. At Capital Grille, they acknowledge your event in a way that makes you feel special and they don't have to stop the entire dining room to do it. The food is, in a word, fantastic. The mac and cheese is some of the best I have ever had, and their steaks are phenomenal. The Delmonico was absolutely huge-we definitely had leftovers to take home. Their soups are creamy and rich. The salmon was also incredibly flavorful. The fish was cooked just right and was tender and flaky. They brought out a little dessert plate with a creme brûlée-type dessert and a flourless chocolate cake. Both were delicious. Everything about both meals was perfect. Steaks were cooked as requested, food came out hot and in a timely manner, and water glasses never left the half-full mark. What puts this place over the top for me is their service. They go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are taken care of, and the personal touches like the signed "happy birthday" card on the table really made the whole meal special. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere nice to celebrate, or if you want a quality experience that includes both a delicious and well-planned menu and attentive service. This will definitely be my restaurant of choice for future special occasions and I can't wait to go back. Five stars!

Our experience was fantastic. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary. Jimmy surprised with reservations to the Capital Grille. The table was already preset with a rose and cut out hearts along with a signed card by the staff wishing us congrats. (Great personal touch) It was a Tuesday night so the Restraunt was very quiet which was perfect really. Our server was Matt who was very enthusiastic, knowledgable and well paced. We were able to enjoy our entire dinner without tons of interruptions. Two flutes of champagne were delivered to our table which was awesome. I had a glass of pinto noir which I loved. Jimmy doesn't drink so I was three drinks deep. Yes! Our smoked salmon appetizer was perfect. Such a great light starter. We our main meal was the lamb ribs chops and porcini rubbed delmonico (bone-in ribeye). Both were amazing! My ribeye just melted in my mouth. Oh and the au gratin potatoes and asparagus were such perfect sides! We didn't eat everything because we were getting dessert. But we did enjoy the leftovers the next evening. We were surprised with two desserts. A caramelized cheese cake and a chocolate espresso cake. Both were amazing and so lovely presented. By the end of the meal, we were both filled, happy and content with our experience. What a great way to celebrate our relationship with things we both love: good food and sweets! Highly recommend for celebrating an anniversary!!

A recent Sunday dinner found myself and a few friends at Capital Grille for a treat courtesy of a friend. We showed up a little while before our reservation so we headed to the bar to start with some drinks. There was only one bartender and a group at the other end of the bar had his attention so we had to sit and wait while we gave them samples of something (it was a little awkward and weird). When he did come over, he set up an ipad in front of us with a drink menu, which was kind of fun (it happened again later with the dessert menu). Our drinks weren't ready when the hostess came over to say our table was ready so they were brought to us once we'd sat down. I've already forgotten the name of the drink I ordered but it was something with pineapple and it was very good. Our waiter, Chris, introduced himself and got us some menus and bread right away. The bread was very good, I liked the variety of what they bring out. I ordered the salmon (others ordered steak and chicken) and we got sides of mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, and asparagus to share. The food came out much faster than I would have expected. The salmon was fantastic, perfectly cooked and very fresh. The asparagus was a little more lemon-y than I prefer but still very good (that is, the asparagus side, the asparagus that was on the plate with the salmon was great). The lobster mac and cheese was great but very rich. The mashed potatoes were basically perfect. As we were eating an older couple sitting near us offered up their leftover wine (this sounds much weirder than it actually was, I promise) and we noticed they had a cute little sampler plate of desserts (it was their anniversary). One member at our table ordered the chocolate hazelnut cake and when we asked our waiter about the sampler plate he said he would get us one. That plate included a small cheesecake and a small flour less chocolate cake. I tried each and while all were very good, the chocolate cake was my absolute favorite, maybe more than anything else I ate that night. Overall it was a great experience. Obviously Capital Grille is not a place I eat regularly so it was a fantastic treat and a super indulgent meal. Our waiter Chris was great and the food was excellent.

This was our first visit to Capital Grill, but we had heard it was the best steakhouse in town. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The ambiance is very nice and romantic. When you first sit down, they bring this basket of different types of bread, a huge homemade cracker, caramelized onion focaccia bread, and finally some dark brown wheat. We started our meal with two cups of lobster bisque which was absolutely decadent with large decorative pieces of claw meat and small pieces throughout. Break up some of that huge cracker in it, and it is perfect. The flavor was smooth and delicious on the tongue! I would highly recommend it. For the main course, hubby went for the Porcini Rubbed Delmonico with 15- year aged balsamic and I went for the Sliced Filet Mignon with cipollini onions and wild mushrooms. We shared a side of the white cheddar and bacon twice-baked potato, which turned out to be plenty for the two of us! Hubby's Delmonico was tasty, but the balsamic was the star of his dish. He ordered it medium but it was more medium-well to both of us. The filet was like butter! The mushroom gravy complimented the steak perfectly. I felt like the onions were a little too many, but they were small and sweet and you could just push them out of the way when they got too much. We were too full to try dessert, but I definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting a really nice steak.

My husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary here. When we found out we would be celebrating in Jacksonville, a dear friend recommended The Capital Grille and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. The wait staff was phenomenal, the food was fantastic and we felt very well taken care of. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese and any beef dish is going to be fabulous. We are foodies, we are particular and this is probably the best meal we have had all year. It was fancy without being stuffy and although the prices are up there, we found that the quality is well worth what you spend. We really enjoyed this experience and cannot wait to visit again the next time we are in Jacksonville. Wonderful...wonderful...wonderful!!

Two words.. Lobster Mac & Cheese!! You can not go to capital grille without trying it! It's honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten!! Also order a Stoli Doli it's there pineapple infused vodka. My favorite place to sit is the bar but the restaurant is also a wonderful experience. They have great truffle fries that will make your taste buds happy. The filet Oscar is tender and will keep you coming back. A great place to celebrate any special occasion.

A little overpriced for quality of steak you get. But overall great steak they go a little too heavy on the butter they put on the steak. Sides are great truffle fries and Mac and cheese a re great.

Last night was my second time dining at capital grille and my first at this location. We were created by four hostesses, a bit much but I figured for a Friday night that could be normal. We had reservations for 6:30 as I hadn't eaten lunch and wanted an early dinner. Then, we were seated in a side room, we were the only people in the room for quite a bit but by the time we were leaving it was full. The waitress, Amanda, was very kind and did a great job. The manager also came around and introduced himself. I had the sushi grade sesame tuna which was great, but my boyfriends filet with truffle butter was perfection! Maybe we ordered too much as we shared lobster bisque(delicious) as an appetizer but also ordered the side of fries with truffle butter and corn with bacon. WAY too much food and most of it was boxed up and taken home but that just means more for later! All was tried though. The steak was my favorite out of everything but the corn and lobster bisque come in at at second place at a tie. Highly recommend this upscale restaurant in the town center as it is much nicer than most of the other options around it.

I was taken here by my boss for lunch. It isn't a place I would otherwise consider dining at, based on various reasons- one of which being the pretentious vibe and grossly overpriced chain food (under same ownership as Red Lobster FYI). That being said, I was hesitant but open minded. Our server was okay but again, pretentious vibe and I can't stand that. Anyway, we started with calamari and it was great and had a tasty crispy batter but dont expect marinara sauce, as this restaurant is too fancy to offer such a thing. My boss ordered a steak MR and it came out MW. It was painfully awkward to watch him wait for our server to come by and check on our entrees so he could inform her, yet she never checked on us. My boss explained the issue when she finally showed, after we all finished our meals. For a so-called 5 star restaurant, I was a bit surprised at that mistake. Fortunately my entree, scallops with mushroom risotto, was delicious and the sauce was light and flavorful. I would have liked more scallops (only came with 3) especially for the price. The creme brûlée and cheesecake was also very good, but maybe it was because the dessert was on the house. Overall, I had an okay experience but the service was weird and the atmosphere just wasn't for me.

As it was close to Halloween, the spirits of fabled restaurants in my previous travels must have been waiting for us here as it only took one look to admire the grand presentation that awaited us. Dressed in a venerable dark wood paneling with high ceilings and filtered lighting effects that created life in huge oil paintings, I knew the names of half a dozen places in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia where the Capital Grille could be a sister restaurant or a valued competitor. We were seated in the greater area, not far from the kitchen, and we were treated to a superb service from Scott, who happily went over the menu with us. Our choices were naturally moving with menu of steak and we capitalized upon the experience by sharing plates to collectively gather the same experience. The menu was was easy to read and it demonstrated a huge wine list, which we indulged with a very good bottle of Pinot Noir that tasted like a superb selection with roots in Oregon. Dinner flowed in steps as we were cautious to enjoy the moments and the lightly marinated steaks and stunning desserts from start to finish with little details, such as the atmosphere and the side dishes, being well taken care of. We felt very comfortable with the experience and we attributed our splendid time to not only the place, but to Scott and Chef Kasey who made the most of it for us, as I am certain they will for others on a nightly basis. Departing into the mist of the later evening from The Capital Grill, I knew another spirit had been welcomed by the others to haunt me in a smoldering tribute to my favorite style of fine dining.
