No, no, no, and NO. We stopped here on the way back to Savannah from St. Augustine. Half a dozen or more restaurants line the exterior of this mall on City Station Drive and you should go anywhere else but here. I don't have high expectations for chain food, but they lowered the bar as far as it could go. I love BBQ but they don't know how to do pulled pork here. Run away, run fast, fun far, but run . . .

Odd tasting BBQ . Canned baked and green beans. Whiskey sauce tastes like it needs to cooked down. Staff is overworked for not being busy.

We really like this place..the wings are so good and big and juicy and flavorful and the ranch goes perfect! When we first moved to the northside, we'd come at least once a week for the wings. and every 4th of July we get about 50 to-go for our neighborhood party! We also like the ribs and my kids are happy with the sandwich options.Cant go wrong here, in my book!!

After sharing details of a bad experience, the management thanked my for my feedback, assured me that my experience was not acceptable and invited me to give them another chance. When i did just that, my family and I enjoyed amazingly tender and flavorful ribs. These people are masters of their craft! The ribs are the best in town and the prices are very digestible. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I have traveled all over the country. I love BBQ. My first Sticky Fingers was in Charleston, SC. I fell in love. I try to find one everywhere I go. Ironically I moved less than a mile from one. In my humble opinion this is the best Sticky Fingers out there and the BBQ at a Sticky Fingers is the best, hands down. Ribs, wings, pulled pork. YUM!! The service is great and you don't have to wait forever. Beats all other BBQ places!

Service was adequate. My pulled pork sandwich was rather dry but the sauces definitely made up for it. And the drink specials are pretty good. Not too bad, they get a B in my book!

I'm from the Seattle area which is NOT a smokehouse mecca. But I know what I like. Tried the rib sampler with hush puppies and baked beans with a side of ceasar salad and a pint of beer. The dry rub ribs were decent. Verging on getting dried out. Flavor was OK. Could have been brined better and smoled a little longer. The hickory flavor was better than average. The sweet sauce and spicy sauce were very good. It did overpower the smoke a little but was tasty. Avoid the Ceasar salad. The dressing was way to vinegary and needed a little more anchovy. Huch puppies were a little chewy but flavor was good. Baked beans was standard fare.

Really smart sized portions. Pulled pork and brisket were great. I wish the sides were larger and the beer selection more diverse but overall a great experience. Good service too!

Awesome service!! Server was very nice. Brunswick stew was delicious. That potato was delicious and big enough to feed 2 people. Will definitely return.

Had an early dinner with my family of seven. Service was excellent, ambience was good, the price was fair, less than $10 a plate average, the kids meals were good values, the sauces were tasty, and decent portions for the price, ( we had left overs) and the BBQ was decent. Maybe not the best BBQ I have ever had, but good. We will go back.

This place is got the best ribs. Oh smoking good. Great atmosphere and clean environment. I recommend getting the dry rub with Cole slaw and ask for the habanero sauce. They keep it in the back. Don't forget the smoky wings !

We are giving this 3 stars. This is bc cause they have decent drink specials. Basically we are from The south and driving to the north. We stopped for a quick BBQ bite; I yelped and found this place. Number one red flag: it's in a shopping center... Number two : its a Franchise Number three: I typed in " BBQ smokehouse " this is a corp restaurant, Real BBq smokehouses have a smoker out back billowing out smoke that usually have an amazing smell. We were hoping for a small local BBQ pit with fall off the bone ribs and amazing baked beans. What you will get is out of the can beans, bland coleslaw, tuff brisket & defiantly not fall off the bone ribs. I used the butter knife then the steak knife to cut the ribs. I had to send it back. The BBQ wings are a good choice especially bc they come with two sides for $10. The pros: Food came out fast.. Which is good if your in a hurry. The manager was attentive and so was out server. So 5 stars for hospitality. There is a variety of sauces. Sorry sticky fingers but most likely not be re visiting .

Went to this specific location several times. Have had different experiences each time. Most of the time it has been positive. The pork or brisket barbecue is good and so is the ribs. Once I went there late at night and they served me cold ribs and pork. The manager said they had shut down the smoker. He did make me a replacement dinner. The peach cobbler is awesome along with the sweet potato casserole. My other bad incident the food was burnt and the service was poor. They were definitely short help. We searched for good barbecue in Jacksonville and couldn't find it. Cross Creek was OK and Bono's was like a cafeteria.

Great service, great ribs, fantastic prices. The decor is like an old western lodge. Would go again.

Family of four ate here last night. It had been awhile since we had been to this restaurant. My first opinion of this okay restaurant is the same after last night. At 6:00 we walked in and was seated quickly. Our waiter came and got our drink order, and not less than 5-6 minutes he returned and asked the same question. My first thought was oh no what's up with this guy. There was only one other couple in his section. We asked him for a kids' menu since the hostess must not have heard my request when she sat us. My mother chose a loaded baked potato, my daughter the kids wings & fries, my son a cheesy BBQ chicken sandwich, and I had the choose 2 plate (wings & ribs). All of our food came out at a reasonable time. Everyone was pleased with their entree' but some of the sides were not so good. My baked potato was cold, my son's beans were also cold and my mom's salad came at the same time as the meal (she had asked for it to come before her meal). I enjoyed the ribs better than the wings, I like mine messy and full of flavor, and these were not; but they were a nice size. The cost was fairly reasonable, they are a little high on their main entree meals. I should have read about the peach cobbler and sweet potato casserole, they seem to be favorites and sound good. When we left about an hour later, there was still a lot of tables empty. A senior bus tour group came in when our food was brought out, so I'm sure glad we had arrived before them. We'll return, but not right away.

While in town for business I stopped with some coworkers for BBQ. I was happy to get the choice between different sauces and they had gluten free beer, but the food was sub par and unimpressive. I ordered the combo meal and the corn was dry and Cole slaw was loaded with sauce. The beef brisket looked like a well done piece of meat and even after putting BBQ sauce on it - it was tough to eat. The pulled pork looked promising but it was only slightly "pulled". The first indication should have been the place was empty at dinner time.

I'd been to a another Sticky Fingers before, but it had been so long ago that I'd forgotten the experience. So I thought I'd try again at this new location. BTW: the previous location closed many years ago. Perhaps I should have taken that as an omen. I ordered the pulled-pork and ribs platter with BBQ beans and slaw as my sides. Honestly, the ribs were perfectly cooked, the pulled-pork, however, was on the dry side. My wife, who ordered just the pulled-pork reported the same. The sides were good but the main attraction was not as good as we had hoped. And the sauces offered were not to our liking as well. I've had better. The next time I want barbeque I'll steer clear of this place and return to the old tried and true...Sonny's.

while over nighting in Jacksonville at the Springhill Suites by the airport decided to try out this restaurant. Got the 1/2 slab and wing combo. While it was plenty of food, they did not take off the membrane on the ribs on the underside and the bottom of the ribs was very fatty as the fat could not escape. Not the best ribs I have ever had. Wings were good, sides of coleslaw and fries were very forgettable.

Customer Service was awful from the employees and even worst from the Operational Manager. She had a condesending attitude, very argumentive and not willing to please her customers. The food was not good. I was very embarrassed due to we purchased the wing platter for the Super Bowl party. We will never return to this location again and from the way we were treated probably never return to any Sticky Fingers this ordeal change our prospective on the chain. Good customer service goes along way and this restaraunt clearly needs several meetings/ classes on how not to treat their customers. Very dissappointed customers. If you want good service and good food and good wait time this location us not it. Do your homework and check the reviews.

When I lived in JAX this was my absolute fav rib joint. It was super busy on Fri/Sat dinner time but most of the time they had no trouble squeezing in two. Staff was always super friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food is amazing! APPS - Only ever tried the potato skins w/ bbq pork and the pork was moist/delish and a great contrast to the potato. Can't really mess up a dish like that. RIBS -- Every single time I got ribs the meat was perfectly cooked and nearly fell off the bone. Amazing since I went there probably 30 times. - I had all the styles except for the Habanero -- I was too weak then to try it! - DRY RUB I had never had dry rub before and this was a great place to try it! The Memphis Style rub is amazing. It is very flavorful but doesn't overpower the meat. It definitely isn't too salty which I later found is a problem with the dry rub at some places. - CAROLINA SWEET Although I liked the Memphis Wet and Tennessee Whiskey I prefer my ribs seasoned sweetly so the Carolina Sweet was my fav. - At the end of the day, all the meat is cooked perfectly so it just comes down to the type of sauce you want on it. At $14 for a half slab and $19 for a full slab - it's typical rib joint prices for good food and great service!

Stopped by here for lunch and thought the food was really tasty! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich off of the lunch menu, so it was only $6.99, and got collared greens to go with it. The sandwich was really tasty and also of a generous size, while the collared greens were nicely seasoned and not bitter (which I was half-way expecting). I also split a peach cobbler with my friend afterward, which was absolutely divine. It comes out fresh and steaming hot, with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream right on top. The waitress was a little standoffish, but the food made up for her attitude. Overall, I'd definitely stop by again.

Update April 2010: Have you tried Sticky Finger's Sweet Potato Casserole???? We stopped by for Wings and things because we were on our way to the movies. The wings are larger than the traditional wing only restaurants. We got them dry rubbed and used one of the five sauces to try them all out! yummy! And we ordered a few sides to go with the wings -- like the Sweet Potato Casserole!!! That dish is definitely 'Slap yo momma good!'

Well let's just say I stumbled on to yet another diamond in the rough. This little gem has all the right stuff to make it big. They have the right philosophy and recipes to succeed. I give a solid 5 stars for the service alone. But of course it doesn't stop there. The menu was hard to choose from because everything looked so good. They are known for the best authentic Memphis-style ribs and barbecue in the South. So I played it safe, hot wings, forget what you know about hot wings till you try these, they are out of this world (see photo). You get 12 for only $7.99 such a deal. You also get to try five signature Sticky Fingers barbecue sauces and seasonings. I tried every one twice, all of them are great. The bartender Cassia was super cool and knew how to retain a customer. Great food, great service, good price I only wish it wasn't 2000 miles from home.

Stopped here on our way to Disney. Great portions and the ribs were smoked with great care. It may be a chain, but don't hesitate stopping in here. The beer is cold too.

Wanted to get some que with my mom (she's never had it before), so I stopped here in the middle of Jacksonville. Great food, friendly service, big portions for the price, made mashed potatoes to order, good selection of sauces, ribs, pork, and wings were good. chicken was bland (couldnt really detect the smokiness of it). The ribs were cooked perfectly. I ordered them dry, since they already had the sauce on the table. Sticky fingers has 6 different type sauces. In the end, my favorite sauces were the regular and the teriyaki. my least favorite were the sweet and the gin sauces. The pulled pork was especially well cooked. It was smoky and moist enough to stand on its own without sauce. Just how pulled pork should be. It was served pulled and not chopped as well. More bonus points. The smoked chicken was kinda bland, it didn't really have any smokiness to it. At least it was moist, which is more than I can say for a lot of bbq restaurants when it comes to chicken. The chicken wings were pretty good. They were massive and extremely juicy. Clearly fried but not greasy at all. seasoned with with a dry rub. My mom loved them =D Didn't have peach cobbler, banana pudding wasn't even on the menu. Overall, the ribs and the pulled pork are a high 4, maybe a 5. The smoked chicken was a 2, and the wings were a 4. If they had either of the desserts I wanted (banana pudding or peach cobbler, which all southern bbq joints should have at least one of), maybe it would have gotten a 5. Oh well. But I'm definitely a fan. The ribs and pulled pork were definite winners, chicken wings too. The prices are extremely reasonable, and we had a great server. OH, and definitely try out all the sauces to see your favorites.

Just don't waste your time. The food is mediocre to just plain crappy. The service is better than the food but you can't fill up on service. Good luck if you plan on wasting your hard earned money. Don't make the same mistake as I did.

Service was great. Atmosphere was casual. Meals were presented well with somewhat limited selection of pork beef and chicken.

Small portion food, not really was able to fill you up. Also DOES NOT HAVE BEEF RIBS.. you would think.. a rib place would have beef ribs.. nope.. ONLY PORK.. food was good, but only enough to feed a bird.

Great food, great service and a full bar. The Sticky Potato Skins, pulled pork and sweet potato casserole were great. Will definitely have to go back for a second visit. Thanks Mrs. Pam.

Stopped here on my way back to Miami. Had the brisket salad with blue cheese...wow! Huge portion, and delicious. Won't even consider another restaurant in this area.

Thank goodness for relatives when visiting places I'm not so familiar with. My uncle highly recommended this place for dinner and took our entire group here for dinner and I must say, we were in barbecue heaven. I'd hate to admit it, but Lucille's ribs does not even come close to the ribs at Sticky Fingers. We started off with some onion petals and wings for appetizers and both were very tasty. We all had the ribs for our entrees and the BF and I chose to have the rib sampler for 2 and it was plentiful, we had a lot of left-over. The meat fell off the ribs and all the different seasonings were delicious. My personal favorite is the Carolina Sweet. Even more, when you order a full rack of ribs, they send home a whole bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce with you. Service was outstanding. People there were just way tooooo friendly. I can't wait 'til we go back for the next paintball tourney next year. I am definitley eating here again and if you ever go to Jacksonville, I highly recommend eating at this place.

  • Marlene C.

Well, we got take-out and I ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. I got the pulled pork and I got the bread. I didn't get the BBQ. I have no idea why. Maybe you are supposed to say you want the sauce? It wasn't a bad sandwich, just bland. The mac and cheese was decent and it has more flavor than Sonny's BBQ's mac and cheese. If I am ever down in this area again or at least at another Sticky Fingers, I'll know to specially say I want sause with my sandwich.

The food was great and I like the fact all the BBQ sauces are on the table so you can sample everything. The portion sizes are acceptable too. The only thing they didn't have was Budweiser on draft.

  • Mimi S.

I must say first of all that I am a BBQ lover. This place though was great as we only stumbled upon it on the way to our resort. The meat is nice, juicy and tender and there are a variety of BBQ sauces to sample which in itself got me really addicted. Price was affordable. There was one mild glitch in the sense that they had forgotten to serve the appetizer ahead of time but the meal was served so quickly that we did not really notice, plus the manager made up for it by not charging us the appetizer's cost. Definitely a great place to go if you are in this part of town!

This experience was a million times better. Our server, I believe her name was kasie was phenomenal. One of the best servers I've had in this city. She was attentive, suggestive, friendly and wonderful. The new cheese and sausage sampler was worth the money and tasty. Jalapeño sausage and cheddar, mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses. We got a trio platter and my white meat chicken was flavorful and moist. The brisket was moist and my favorite. The ribs too were moist which many places over cook. I got dry rub bc that's how we do it in mo and it wasn't bad but I wish it was cooked on it more, but still good and meaty. Mac and cheese very cheesy and good. Only slight complaint was mashed potatoes were way salty. We were very pleased and had a nice time. Oh and they have 2-4-1 drinks so that's a win.

  • Joe H.

Not as good as hyped. My wife and I split the ribs. They were tough..... And the sauces were just not good. We had baked beans and collards as sides, and they tasted like they came straight from the can with a little hot sauce added. Not sure I'll return..

**First Clue: restaurant was completely empty on a Thursday at noon. ** We had 8 people in our party. Our order was taken promptly and the food was served in a fairly decent amount of time. Unfortunately, that's where our luck ended. Not a single one of us enjoyed our food. The kid meals consisted of two small dried up chicken fingers and less than 9 pieces of shoe string fries. It was obvious the ribs had been cooked LONG before they were ever served. Our appetizer was a trio that included fried pickles. The batter had completely separated from the pickle. The server brought out 2 new batches and they were exactly the same. We didn't eat any of them and we were very disappointed to see that no comp had been given to us for being unable to eat 1/3 of the dish. Aside from the server being attentive there's was absolutely NOTHING that was enjoyable about this place.

    (1)
  • Tesha P.

The ribs were lack luster. I don't care for baked ribs. I did like variety of sauces. I won't be composing a letter to mom about theses ribs. Service was prompt and efficient. The drink specials was the bomb. They serve the drinks in small glasses it's like a 2 for 1 but it packed a punch! Whew! Kudos to the bartender/ barmaid. Will go back for drinks and probably appetizers... To soak up them drinks!

My husband and I went here for dinner the other night and we were pleasantly surprised. I'm not really sure why this place isn't ever busy but we loved our food. It tasted great and there was plenty of it. Our server was very sweet and she did a great job with taking good care of us. I would like to see more support for this place. Try them out!

The service was good. The ribs fell off the bones. The sauces were good. The taste...it was decent. I was not impressed with it overall. However, it is not a bad place...especially the service.

Disappointed with this restaurant. First, two in our party were given dirty flatware. Once finally replaced, my colleague got yet another filthy greasy knife give to him. It makes you shiver thinking what other filed sanitation items are going on behind the scenes. Aside from taking our orders and collecting the bill at the end, the waitress never bother to even check on how the service and meal was proceeding. The restaurant was not overly crowded. It was lunchtime and at perhaps 20 percent capacity. Likewise although not sure what he was watching the general manager was drifting about present in the dining area and bar area. in the end the service is what really detracted from this visit. The food was ok...nothing was special our a real standout, certainly not enough wow to make up for the below average service and sanitation

  • Damon B.

This chain is gross and I regret trying to eat here. Their restaurant was dirty and we got our food to go because we were in a hurry. My wife got a chicken salad that as disgusting, some old chicken on wilted lettuce, totally uninspired. Why even offer a salad if you aren't going to build a nice one? I got a loaded baked potato which was loaded with smoked pork. The potato was greasy and cold and it was loaded with meat and congealed melted cheese. I just don't get why anyone would come here except out of desperation. It was a sad, sad place and a worse meal. I tried all the barbecue sauces while waiting and although the original was okay, the rest weren't good. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Had a taste 4 BBQ so we stopped in. Ordered the slab 4 2 with 4 sides and the 2 4 1 margaritas ... the ribs were good ..would have been better if they were off the grill instead of baked. Enjoyed the variety of sauces, and the drinks were good. Service was nice and prompt.

Great music, spacious interior, wonderful kind waitstaff! Stars for Food ***** Brisket ***** Pecan Pie ***** Sweet Potato Casserole ***** Potato Salad ***** Peach cobbler. The size discrepancy between the large brisket sandwiches is out of proportion... Order the small... Save room for dessert.

  • Andy M.

I give 'em about a four and a half. My wife and I split a Half Rack of beef Ribs, with Sweet Carolina Sauce. She describes this sauce as "wonderful." The table had bottles with more of this, and maybe half a dozen other sauces. Our sides were Slaw, and Potato Salad. I had a Decaf Coffee, which the waitress never offered to refill or "warm." Our bill for this southern supper was only $20.

One of the worse meals I have ever had. The server was a complete idiot and didn't use her head. Ill never come back. Good : the cheese frys where good. But they were not brought out fast. Bad: everything but the app.

Any other chain restaurant has better chicken and ribs but this place calls themselves a BBQ place is horrible. Pulled pork was alright and baked beans were good but there are 10 other restaurants right around this place I would have rather gone to including subway.

Good BBQ chain. Nice choice of sauces. Not fancy.

First off one star is over rating and being kind and very generous. But the manager was very nice; unfortunately the food wasn't .I got the first clue as the parking lot was Fairly empty. We walked in and the restaurant was very cold on the side we sat in. The other side was quite warm. The waiter was friendly and we ordered fried pickles and they had a nice few puddles of grease that they were in. They where grotesque and cut too thick. I ordered a platter of ribs to share with my mother and they where too under cooked and had the consistency of a tire. There was one sauce that I believe was named Tennessee whiskey that was shocking that they'd serve something like that. This was a rather large surprise due to the fact of the ribs being what they specialize in. My step father had ordered a steak and the y put no seasoning on it and believe it or not was a ROTTEN steak. When they brought our food to the table everyone had smelt a stench and that was the reason for it . The manager had came and apologized and took care of the tab.

What a great Sticky Fingers!! My fathers and I had the most amazing dinner here tonight. Our server Showna was so kind and helpful, great service!! The food was some of the best BBQ we have had. The manager Derrika was also very pleasant. HIGHLY recommend!

Cindy was absolutely amazing! She was happy, enjoyed being at work and enjoyed serving her customer. That is a rare find these days. We enjoyed her bubbly personality so much we took dessert home with us. The dessert was superb as was the ribs. Loved the food, Cindy and will be back very soon.

Generous portions of food and friendly service. I ordered the 1/4 chicken & Memphis ribs combo with a Caesar side salad and was very pleased. I also had the baked beans and macaroni & cheese which were also good.

This is a regular place we visit from time to time. Great ribs here. We came for lunch and I had a taste for a good burger. I got a Memphis bacon cheeseburger. It has a nice charbroiled flavor. I like mine cooked medium but it was a little on the well side but I still enjoyed it. Comes with a choice of many different sides. I will always enjoy coming back here.

Basically I'm just going to get down to it: the food there is terrible, the menu choices are OKAY. But they have some of the worst kids menues I've seen. It is pretty over priced, and we always get the same gigantic guy who is SWEATING everywhere. Over like three different occasions we got him. Sorry, I would not recommend it.

Decent portions of food but the overall quality of the meat and sauces were not reflective of the price. A more reasonably priced menu would benefit them greatly.

Disclaimer: this is not my style of food. I'm a picky eater of meat and I don't love soul/ southern food. I went to treat my fiancé who loves this stuff. My baked potato had some yellow oil on it. Absolutely NOT butter, although that is what I asked for. I'm not sure what type of cheese like product I ingested when tasting the macaroni and cheese. The coleslaw was the highlight for me. My fiancé bought a bottle of their Carolina BBQ sauce. Excellent server! Don't worry, we didn't base our tip on our food experience. We waited less than 8 minutes for our food after we ordered it. That is disturbing!!! Fast food...?! My rating posted here is an average of our separate ratings.

I called in the order which was pleasant. The front of the house workers seemed unorganized. The Brisket was amazing!

Good BBQ, the service was quick. Their sauces are mostly on the sweet side, but other than that it was very enjoyable.

Not as good as hyped. My wife and I split the ribs. They were tough..... And the sauces were just not good. We had baked beans and collards as sides, and they tasted like they came straight from the can with a little hot sauce added. Not sure I'll return..

    (5)

Don't make the same mistake as I did.

while over nighting in Jacksonville at the Springhill Suites by the airport decided to try out this restaurant.

I had a Decaf Coffee, which the waitress never offered to refill or "warm." One of the worse meals I have ever had.

Good BBQ, the service was quick. Their sauces are mostly on the sweet side, but other than that it was very enjoyable.

Always great food and large portions. Service is good and atmosphere is always nice. Kids like the graph on the wall that shows what your Jazz name would be. Fun times.

Not as good as hyped. My wife and I split the ribs. They were tough..... And the sauces were just not good. We had baked beans and collards as sides, and they tasted like they came straight from the can with a little hot sauce added. Not sure I'll return..

    (5)
  • Christina M.

Cross Creek was OK and Bono's was like a cafeteria.

while over nighting in Jacksonville at the Springhill Suites by the airport decided to try out this restaurant.

Just don't waste your time. The food is mediocre to just plain crappy. The service is better than the food but you can't fill up on service. Good luck if you plan on wasting your hard earned money. Don't make the same mistake as I did.

Small portion food, not really was able to fill you up. Also DOES NOT HAVE BEEF RIBS.. you would think.. a rib place would have beef ribs.. nope.. ONLY PORK.. food was good, but only enough to feed a bird.
