I like this Starbucks location because of the friendly and welcoming staff. So far, I've never had an issue with my drink being messed up or anything like that. I visit this location a lot because it is close to my house. I will agree with other reviewers when it comes to the parking and drive thru. It's horrible if you're in a hurry.

Years ago this spot was reinvented with a beautiful raised ceiling. Now it seems to just magnify the things beneath. This place is the closest one to home, but I avoid it to head to another Starbucks that can offer me a place that has been swept and won't have a fly sitting on my food. I attribute that to its well-placed fit in a coffee-drinking community. One I can hear clearly from the other side of the room thanks to the new recessed ceiling. At least there are power outlets in most of the spaces and the people friendly for the most part, right down to the guy who bids me "God bless," when I drive out of the drive-thru.

I love me some Starbucks, and this one is no exception. They are always pleasant, even at 5:00 am. I swear they're mainlining caffeine all day. I mean, who is that happy at 5:00 am?! The baristas here are exceptional. I go to a few locations around town and beyond, and I think this one has perfected the art of perfectly brewed coffee and espresso, knows how to steam and froth the milk just right and you never end up with chunks of green tea powder in the bottom of your latte (3 other locations recently). They get it right. My only irritation with this particular location is it's on an awkward intersection, and has the worst drive thru set up. I'll often pass it and head to the next one because the drive thru is such a nightmare. Some idiot will be blocking parked cars from exiting, and the line gets wrapped around the building sometimes to the point the cars at the window can't get out. Um, hello?! And forget it if your making the left turn in from St. Augustine Road. You'll sit there for 10-15 minutes, patently waiting for the line to move up, until some jack ass comes from one of the other directions and jumps in the line. I think they need some signs, like drive thru this way or something...

Situated at the triangular intersection between the San Jose and Old St. Augustine, this Starbucks is easily accessible from both roads. A very nice Starbucks, especially, the ceiling: the glorified crown ceiling that you don't often see in coffee shops. The place is small and feels nice. It has small outdoor seating too and a drive-thru. The baristas were efficient but the flies flying around was not cool.

How have I not reviewed my favorites!?! BEST BARISTAS THIS SIDE OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER! I'm a regular here as it's close to home and they're absolutely wonderful! I've been to many-a Starbucks and these guys excel in fast and friendly customer care! Two thumbs up! JON is absolutely FANTASTIC!

As Starbucks go... this is pretty middle of the road. They have made my drinks correctly about 75% of the time, but they struggle with the concept of good foam. To be fair.... the ability to make good foam is a difficult skill to attain. The baristas are friendly, and will bend over backwards to try and make your drink right... but if they mess it up twice, you start to feel like a dick making them do it again... so you just smile and say thank you.

I'm glad I come in here at 530 in the morning, quick in and quick out, but after 7 a.m., all the moms and dads are here, the drive thru is long, but the quality is still the same. The store and they may confuse you, because you think its on San Jose, but they call it Ricky Road.

This Starbucks has the worse design ever!!! The drive thru is so small your car hangs out in the middle of the road. There is no parking so you either wait in the small drive thru or park at a store and walk over. The coffee is great and the staff if friendly, just do not come here if you pressed for time.

Every time I come in to Jacksonville, this is the Starbucks I come to. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the different flavor combinations. I want to give a special acknowledgement to Susie, she is extremely patient with me, guiding me towards new flavor combinations based on what I tell her that I would like to try.

The staff is very nice and patient... The ladies took the time to explain the difference of the coffees and the pour over and a cofeoir (misspelled) which they didn't do, the Neptune Beach has it. What it does is extract all the bean out to make the coffee, which the Brazil flavor was great!!!

Somehow they forgot our drink order and, when we finally went to the counter to ask where it was, they looked over at our table like they thought we had hidden them or something. With all the Starbucks locations, there is no reason to put up with incompetent personnel. Find another one.
