Pollo Tropical is ok. I gave a (3) rating because sometimes the food is not on point. Most of the time I go through the drive thru. The service is fast but the food is not consistently warm. I have visited the restaurant twice for dine in. Each time the restaurant was clean and service was ok. The food was not consistently warm. There is Wifi available and music plays consistently. There are no tv's. For me both drive in and restaurant was ok. I think they could improve the taste of their food and ensue it is consistent. My visits were at the Bartram Park Pollo Tropical.

Consistent, tasty and much healthier than other fast foods. The restaurant is always clean and staff is friendly.

First time at Pollo Tropical and I have become a fan of their chicken. First of all, it is a clean establishment, from dining area to washrooms, they have maintained it really well. Got the 1/4 chicken platter with two sides: white rice and Caribbean Corn Soufflé. The soufflé had a hint of sweetness but cooked to perfection. They have 3 varieties of rice, a great food haven for someone like me whose culinary world revolves around rice. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had an amazing depth of flavor. Many a times when you discard the skin, the flavor goes with it; not in the case of PT's chicken. No sir, it somehow packs the same flavor in each bite. It was little dry but the great taste compensated for it and I didn't mind. They do have a whole lot of other items: wraps, salads, kids friendly, family sized and even light-menu for calorie conscious. One of the coolest things was their signature salsa/sauce bar: maintained well at the center of dining-area with good varieties to choose from. I tried the fresh salsa and it was good with a nice hint of spiciness, so was the curry mustard and the spicy poyo. I was really impressed by the balance in their food offerings and taste like-wise. Will definitely look forward to go and try some other menu items. Loved the total package experienced here; a great tasting chicken meal served by patience and helpful staffs in a clean environment with good Latin music, what is there not to like?

Absolutely terrible! Walked in with the husband around 730-745 and we ordered our two plates. We sat down and waited, and waited and waited. After 15 minutes someone comes out and says the chicken is going to be another 15 minutes. I hesitantly said okay. After about another 15 minutes I started to lose my cool because I walked up to the counter and I asked about the chicken. Only to be told that it was actually going to be another 15 minutes! The manager tried to offer me the food that was "ready" like the sides but I didn't want to get full of sides. I just wanted for them to tell me truth when I had ordered. It had already been 30 minutes and they informed me I would have to wait another 15!. I kindly asked for my money back and left. Terrible! The sauce bar was filthy and so were the bathrooms. Terrible overall. I'll admit that the manager was nice but just not a good experience.

They just opened this location of Polo Tropical! :) It was my first visit to one of these restaurants (I have seen them around town). And it was packed already at lunch. It is right next door to PDQ which also opened a few months ago. There is a lot of staff on hand to guide you through the process f ordering your meal. It is a chicken place, and they do have a pulled pork product. I had the chicken bowl, with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and black bean. With a drink it was $7.59... and I was FULL! It is a pretty good portion. It was tasty, and cooked just right. I am glad they are there... I like have additional choices for lunch in the area that are both good, and affordable.

Loved their food, the tropichop is great because you can add whatever you like. Their fry plantains are so good!

I've been on a diet but felt like getting fast foods today. I wanted a cheat meal but didn't want to go all out, Pollo Tropical was a good choice. I order 1/2 chicken with mash potatoes and kernel corns for myself. I also got trio meat platter which consist of Chicken breast, chicken wings, and pulled pork. Everything were delicious, the meat may be a bit dry though. The cashier were all nice, they kept apologizing because I had to wait about 5 minutes for them to fry the tostones. They also gave me a free drink for waiting :) I'm excited to come back here to try their wraps & fried yuca!!!

Horrible lazy service ruins it for me. The lady taking my order I think lost her cat that morning or something. Not a smile nothing. Their credit card machine was giving her trouble. After her trying the same swiping trick 7 times I suggested she try something different and enter the numbers in. To which she did inc and handed my VISA card back to me and said we don't take that card here. TO THE OWNER....BAD AND LAZY SERVICE WILL DESTROY YOUR SALES. After that I did not trust what I ordered, thinking if they hired that kind of people at the front who knows who is making my food. Getting sick is not worth it.

Grand opening and the weeks to follow were great. After that, pork was cold twice and food tasted microwaved. After the last 2 trips, I haven't been back,

Always friendly and very polite. Nice to have a healthier option in our area. Their chicken salad and homemade ranch dressing is my absolute favorite.

I like the mojo roast pork enough that I keep going back. I go through the drive thru every time since I live around the corner and just stop on my way home. Wait times vary and it doesn't seem to matter how many cars are in the line. Sometimes I hardly have to brake I get through so fast. Other times there will be one car in front of me and I'll be sitting there 15 minutes. It's infuriating! The drive thru workers are also just as unpredictable. Occasionally I'll get the 'good' one but usually I'm stuck with the lady who can't even be bothered to acknowledge my existence despite my use of "please" and "thank you". She literally will conduct the entire transaction without a word to me. I pull up, she puts her hand out. I give her my credit card, she hands it and the bag back to me in complete silence. Sometimes if I'm lucky she'll actually repeat my total when I pull up. Usually not. If the drive thru cleaned up it's act I'd visit a lot more!

I was so excited they were opening one of these near my house, but tonight I had the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant tonight at this place. The staff is terrible and no one cares if or when you get your food - including the manager on duty. Waste of time and money. It's a shame because I've been to other locations and had a much better experience.

The first time we tried this restaurant the food was good. Since then, the food has been lukewarm at best and the food tasted like it just came out of the microwave. I can't even stomach the thought of going back to this restaurant ever again.
