Pei Wei is the little brother of P.F. Changs. I've stopped in a number of times for a quick bite while shopping at the Town Center. The food can be hit or miss, it really all depends on what you order. For appetizers I've had the crab wontons and edamame. Both were your usual suspects and eaten up. Fried rice is so easy to mess up but their version was tasty and not overly greasy. The first time I ordered the chicken lo mein, I was disappointed at the bowl in front of me. It just looked like plain noodles and chicken breast. Surprisingly, the sauce that has fallen to the bottom was actually a little sweet and salty and I enjoyed my meal. Recently I ordered the teriyaki steak with noodles instead of rice. I'm a big fan of veggies in my meal, but someone was a little lazy with the knife because the cabbage was in massive pieces. I liked the flavor was was totally unimpressed with the steak. Not sure what cut was used but it was a little tough and fatty. Next time I'll stick with chicken! Pei Wei is a fast casual atmosphere. Next to the fountain drinks is a station with silverware, napkins, and take out containers are stacked and waiting for you. After your meal, don't forget the fortune cookies. The bin is now by the cashier. I assume this placement is an attempt to make you take only one or two cookies and not a handful which will be your first inclination when you see a massive basket of cookies just brimming with tiny pieces of paper full of insightful life lessons and lotto numbers.

Caramel Chicken and Thai Wonton soup are my to-do choices. Simply put, it's better than fast food Chinese. Always flavorful and fresh. Oh! And the fortune cookies are top notch. Always fresh, yummy, and they actually have a fortune in them sometimes. Service is usually polite and quick. Tables aren't always bussed when it is/has recently been busy, but they've made improvements since I started coming her about a year ago.

Since the last time I've visited here - new menu and the place us super clean. The B and I sat at the bar and watch the chefs cook and talked with them while they prepared meals - like a skilled artists they are back there cooking. Love the new menu layout - easier to order now - funny - fun taste better when the place is clean. Will be back

Pei Wei I wanna like you but I can't. The menu is large and the options seem tantalizing on paper but tasting the food is a bit disappointing. I remember ordering the sweet and sour shrimp with noodles and all I could taste was the overpowering ginger flavor and unappetizing breading on the shrimp. I'm not a fan of Pei Wei. Food is not quite good enough. Contrary to what most people say that the service is bad I had a different experience. The service was good, nothing negative stood out. If you find yourself at the Town Center and definitely have to have Asian food I would say skip Pei Wei maybe try Bento Cafe, it is a little better.

I stopped in here after taking a long break from this place and my-oh-my has this place fallen. The food I ordered was the honey seared chicken and it was the worst dish I've ever been served at a restaurant hands down. The white rice seemed old and the chicken had a funky taste to it. The breading on the chicken was all falling off and barely clinging to the chicken. Also, the honey sauce was very thick and over powering making the chicken very inedible. My overall thought was that my dish was ordered by someone two hours prior to me getting there and never received it so they served it to me. My favorite thing there, The pork egg rolls, are no longer any good in my opinion. They used to come filled with pork and a little vegetables but now its the other way around with very little pork in them. This place used to be a decent place to grab a meal but I honestly don't see any reason to return here ever again.

I guess I should apologize to the employees of Pei Wei, I did not mean to disturb your afternoon. I unknowingly thought this was a restaurant and you were there to serve customers. What the heck happened? I used to love Pei Wei, with delightful food and cheerful counter service. However on this visit after Sunday church I clearly understood why the restaurant was 1/4 filled during a peak feeding time. Service was abysmal and the person who took our order clearly wanted to be somewhere else. Food was still good but presentation would more likely be described as "Early Throw it on the Plate" or "Post Modern Ness". I try not to comment on restaurants and businesses that are having on off day, but looking at the comments I am not the only one seeing a difference. I hope and pray the ownership can turn it around because this used to be a great eating spot.

Yes this used to be a nice place for me to go have lunch with used to be my happy place today very disappointed proportion is smaller than usual and the taste is not up to par could be the chef is just lazy today or is there quality control no longer existing I wonder Maybe you could give me some insight on this very disappointed today

It wasn't as good today. Food came out cold and tables were not cleared. When brought to their attention it was rectified.

Pei Wei is always consistent on fresh hot food. My favorite is the Pei Wei Spicy chicken, which rarely disappoints. Not that happy that the small order looks similar in portions to the original and you pay at least $2 more. Also too many parking spaces for "to-go" and not enough for dine in, especially when an employee uses two spaces in the back to park his "over-valued" car.

Arrived at 6:45 pm, on a sunday. There were 3 tables of customers eating. Order our meals and found almost half of the 20 or so tables to be dirty. We wanted a booth so we washed our table. Fortunately the staff respected our privacy and did not come over to help. Meal was good, first time here. Priced well too. As we enjoyed our meal over the next 30 mins we observed one staff member begin to clear a table, making sure to collect the tip first. She cleared what she could with one trip, but did not return. A second server delivered food to a table right next to this partially cleared table. Despite having a serving tray with her, she picked up a single bottle of sauce and left the table still dirty. In all fairness, it did appear to be a good conversation occurring netween the 3 servers. As I was writing this, still at my table, the server came out to deliver something to a table and walked by the dirty table twice! Lets hear it for customer service.

Very pleased with the online ordering process. However, I ordered the orange peel dish and it had very little flavor. Plan to stick with Mama Fu's from now on!

Not sure what I got but it's not Chinese food. I walked in there asking for something not sour or sweet, now I ended up with sweet and sour deep fried over cooked chicken. I was trying to give Jacksonville a chance after bitching about no authentic Chinese food in this town, oh well, PEI WEI didn't help!

Don't order online it doesn't go through unless they accept it but it stills sends you a confirmation email telling you what time it will be ready. Got here to pick up my order and I'm now waiting 10-15 minutes for my order to be made.

I am never a huge chain restaurant fan but have been to pf changs several times so why not try this place.. got the lettuce wraps and chicken fried rice.. wife loved the lettuce wraps and the fried rice was good but not mind blowing. All and all it was a decent meal bit wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Pei Wei is PF Changs without the bullshit. It's the same quality meat and same type of veg for about half the price of a dinner at Chang Chang Chaangs. You pick a protein, sauce/style of prep, and side and your meal will generally be under ten bucks. It will come on a crappy plastic plate, and you have to mix your own dipping sauces. To my knowledge this is the only location in Jax. I really do enjoy it for the price point, and it's one of the more affordable and decent meals you will find in Town Center. Mongolian beef and pepper chicken are awesome. It's also worth noting that you can get the same appetizers as PF Changs like the lettuce wraps or crab rangoons and they are definitely as good. Heads up though, parking is going to suck at all times of the day.

Would the manager of this Pei Wei please teach the staff to bus tables, leave them clean and reset with napkins?! There is no wait. It is 2pm and every table is dirty. This has been my experience on my last three visits. I watched someone come out with a dish tub, clear the plates and silver, then stack the cups. He left the cups on the table. Why? Then he disappeared the table was still not cleared and clean 30 minutes later. Come on Pei Wei step up your act!

Pei Wei is a hidden luxury I find myself coming back to every now and again. Began as a corporate meeting, turned to my bi-weekly southside asian cuisine fix. I love this place, customizing orders from heavy dining all the way to light eating with its Gluten Free menu, all the way down to the chill dim-lit ambiance, It just compliments the food so perfectly. I find myself going traditional everytime with the Thai Dynamite shrimp with fried rice, hence the title its like an explosion of flavor in every bite, you just can't get enough until its gone! While rather pricey you definitely get your money's worth in quality. I've personally heard alot of good things about Caramel under Bright Flavors, so look forward to my tip when i try it later this week. Typical General Tso chicken and Chicken Teriyaki gets boring after a while so if you're looking for something different with a ton of diverse flavors to choose from, i HIGHLY recommend giving Pei Wei a try! 10/5 if i could!

Let me preface this with the fact that we love Pei Wei. Their food is really good with the lineage coming from PF Chang's. However, four out of the last five visits to this location have been very disappointing. Again, the food was delicious, but other issues really put an overcast on this fact. First, they have been out of multiple items. Last night all but the spring roll apps were out of stock. Half of the soda mixes were empty in the dispenser, and there were no fortune cookies. Unfortunately, this has become a standard at this location. When we arrived, 3/4 of the tables were empty, but none had been cleaned. We took one of the less dirty ones and the manager wandered over to clean it off for us. No apology or really any words at all. He seemed very out of it. This is a great restaurant with a great brand name. Management needs to remember this and live up to expectations. We'll be back. Our addiction to the food is such, but they have opened themselves to a competitor wooing us die-hards away if they don't get their act together. 5 stars for food, 0.1 stars for having their act together.

  • Carlton M.

The only thing consistent about this location is their inconsistency. This has to be the worst Pei Wei in the chain.

    (1)
  • Erik N.

Slow service, unflavored food, and a dirty facility has turned me away from Pei Wei forever. Employees smoking behind the building with gloves still on. No manager or anyone appearing to resemble someone in charge was present to give feedback to. Bathrooms were dirty as well as the dining room.

Incredibly disappointing experience. I recently went for my lunch hour and received well below par customer service. I placed my order and 40 minutes later, after being reassured twice by the waiter that my food would be out shortly, and my friend had received the wrong order, had to go up to the manager and found out that my food was never made even though I had been given a receipt. I had to ask multiple times for a refund and was never offered any kind of compensation. I had to go back to work starving. I don't understand how these people can call themselves a restaurant with such poor service. Go to bento cafe instead!

I've enjoyed P.F. Changs whenever I visit, but I like the option of getting the same type of food in a more casual environment better. First visit i ordered noodles with tofu. I think I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, but it's possible I went for the classic pad thai. The noodles were great and hit the spot. The tofu was not my favorite. It's not that it was bad, I just didn't care for the way it was prepared. I would have preferred it diced a little smaller so that it incorporated into the noodles a little better. Second time we went I opted for one of their Signature Dishes. I ordered the Thai Dynamite with shrimp. The dish overall was good. However when you have the word Dynamite in a the name, you expect something a little spicier. Parking at PW can be interesting. I don't know if there is a better time to recommend you stop in because both times I've been they were rather busy. If you're not starving and/or in a hurry, Pei Wei gets my vote. But if you're in a rush, this might not be the place for you.

Slow service. Over 20 minutes for a mealat 2pm. Well after lunch rush. Dirty tables many yet to be bussed. The only reason for two stars is taste.

Alert your taste buds and stand back while the saliva flows! Pei Wei the has audacity to creating a spell binding menu. The flavors will imprison your taste buds. Hold you food addiction in chains.

Ok, I know it's a chain and really wasn't expecting much, but even after mental-prepping myself not to expect much, I still got disappointed after trying Pei Wei tonight. I was expecting the price slightly higher than your average Chinese fast food restaurants. I was expecting the food to be OK, but not great. We ordered two dishes and egg rolls to go. So this review is strictly on the food. Well, I really couldn't eat too much of the food because both dishes were loaded with salt. It was just sooo salty, which is a shame because I actually liked the kung pao chicken if the chef weren't so heavy-handed with salt. The egg rolls were very greasy. Don't get me wrong, I mean, it's egg rolls. I expect some grease, but it was a lot greasier than any other fast food Chinese restaurant egg roll that I've ever tried. Given the price point and the food, I think I rather head over to Panda Express if I wanted not-so-great, but cheap Chinese take out.

First time here and I found it to be enjoyable. I made the order online and was pleased with the system and how easy it was to do. I got the Thai beef and enjoyed the spicy flavors along with that "slaw" . The decor was very nice and the staff helpful. I'd eat there again.

For some reason this location can't get the taste right. Pei Wei was my favorite up north. The food is always off here.

If you want the same food as PF Changs, then just go to Pei Wei. The menu is pretty much the same but the food is half the price. They also have beer and wine. This was about the busiest one I have been too though, we had to wait about 20 minutes in line to order on a Friday night, but they were very organized and help a table for us to sit at. The place is very well managed and the food of course was great.

  • Amanda K.

I love P.F. Chang's, but I find it almost impossible to believe that Pei Wei is closely related. The food lacks flavor and is usually dry. The "spicy foods" when ordered "extra spicy" also lack flavor and any hint of spice. I have given them five chances in the last six months and tonight was my last.

Finally went to try this after a movie Saturday. I've been wanting to go, but I don't go to new restaurants until they've been open at least a month. I don't understand people who run to a place the minute it opens and then complain when everything isn't fabulous. There are routines to be worked out and bugs to be fixed (not literal bugs, hopefully). In a perfect world, yes, they would open and everything would be perfect and the sun would shine and birds would sing on your amazing dining experience. Is this a perfect world? Not when I got up this morning. Side rant over, we loved it. It gets busy, and the seating system is similar (as others have said) to Pollo Tropical. So if you get inside and there's a long line ahead of you, you may NOT send one of your party to snag a table ahead of everyone else. One, the staff will stop you, and two, it's just rude. We saw it happen a couple of times while waiting. You will receive a table number at the counter when you order and you may get escorted to your seat (not sure if they do that all the time). On to the food. It was great for fast casual Asian. My Pei Wei Spicy Chicken was almost indistinguishable for the Chang's Spicy Chicken I get at owner P.F. Chang's, except that it had some vegetables in it. Portion sizes are good for the price. My daughter had the lo mein and couldn't even finish it all. I didn't like her lo mein that much, I prefer mine a little less saucy and more light, but that's a personal preference, it wasn't bad, taste wise. The service was fine, for what we saw of it, since it's a limited service place. The counter person was perfectly friendly, and someone comes around to take empty dishes. They're quick about clearing tables, as they have to be. I will also say that the manager stepped in and handled the situation perfectly when someone cut in front of us in line. We are not confrontational people, but he quickly stepped right in and took care of it. This place is definitely going on the regular rotation, for when I want something a step up from Panda Express, but don't feel like springing for the price or the wait at P.F. Chang's. I can't wait to try some of the soups and appetizers.

Would give it negative stars if I could. I recently was very excited to try this new restaurant in the St Johns Town Center, on the south side of Jacksonville. When I went into the place on a Sunday evening around 7:00 p.m. I was a little surprised to find the tables filthy, the floor filthy and slick with grease, and the restrooms in deplorable condition. Thinking that perhaps this was just the result of the Christmas rush, I decided to try it anyway. The rice was cold in the middle, no one on staff really seemed to know what was going on, the food tasted as if it had just been microwaved. Absolutely a terrible experience and I will never go there again!

Not a big fan of chain places, but Pei Wei met my expectations for a quick but flavorful dinner. Whoever said Pei Wei was comparable to Panda Express, they do not know what they are talking about and really just don't have any class! Pei Wei's offers food that are rich in flavor and offers more variety than what Panda Express can offer. Pei Wei is owned by the same company that owns P.F Changs, so you can expect similarity in taste. I had a good time here at this Pei Wei, nice and knowledgeable staff, good food, and great atmosphere! I definitely would return. I highly recommend their caramel chicken dish, very good!

I'll first say that Panda Express down the road is much better and so is Mama Fu. So that's why I've given it two stars. The place was busy when I went. Line out the door. That's expected cause it's a new restaurant and everyone wants to try it. I'd say try it for yourself, but there are better places to get casual Chinese food. What I didn't like: -the food isn't that flavorful. Nothing special. My mom got a Pad Thai and it's so sweet. That's not right. I had the sweet and sour and it barely had flavor. My wife had the Thai Coconut and the next day went we to Mama Fu to compare the same dish and theirs had so much more flavor. The food is the most important part of eating out and it didn't wow me compared to other places. -like I said there was a long line and a nearly full dining room. So my mom went to go grab a table. Very common right in any restaurant this style? You order your food and they bring it to your table that has a number they gave you. Well when I ordered I said we had a table already. The cashier seemed annoyed that we did cause they are supposed to seat us. I said okay I understand. Then someone else ( maybe a manager but he was dressed the same) also told me not to grab a table cause it slows the whole line down (how?) and something else and that it might actually take our food longer to come out cause they can't find us. (so what's the point of giving us numbers to put on the table?) I didn't like his attitude and here is the no brainier solution. If they DON'T want people to seat themselves, they should put a sign in the line. Wow what a complicated solution! Instead no mention of wait to be sat anywhere in line. What's good: -the inside is decorated nice. Lots of windows. It was clean but it was the first week. Food came out fairly quickly. The open kitchen is nice. -the employees who brought out the food all were nice. Would I go back? It'll be a long time. No need to get so so food when there are so many better choices in that are. If we want Chinese food in that area, we'll go to Panda Express for much better tasting food.

First things first, less than a few weeks open and they are still working out the logistics and kinks. Parking close can be a challenge and there may be a wait to be seated (don't try to seat yourself yet). Very similar challenges to breaking in Pollo Tropical across the way, and they leveled out to be a fast-casual dining staple of SJTC. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The food was fresh and flavorful if you know how Chinese cuisine is meant to taste. I see comparisons to the Panda Express down the road, and if your liking is the sugared-down, pre-frozen and heavily fried variety of Asian cooking, then this P.F. Cheng quality express lane may not be right for you. Think of this in comparison of Chipotle being the fresh answer to Moe's. We had the Wonton Soup, a variety of spring and egg rolls with orders of the Dan Dan Noodles and the Sesame Combo with Shrimp and Steak. Again, all was very good. Portions were good and we left full for around $20. We will still remain Bento loyalists for quick Japanese and sushi; however, this may be our answer for Chinese takeout and lunch in the future.

Today was my first time to a Pei Wei. I walked in to get take out. It was 3pm on a Wednesday so the parking was fine and there was no line. I briefly perused the menu and my eye caught the Thai Dynamite. I chose chicken. The guy taking my order asked if I wanted white rice, brown rice, fried rice or noodles. So I chose the fried rice. I also ordered a side of Vegetable spring roll. Only while I was waiting my 15 minutes for the order to be made did I read the entire menu. Then I see that Fried Rice and Noodles cost $.99 more! I wish that was made CLEAR when offering that to me! He SHOULD have said "Would you like white rice or brown rice? You could also get fried rice or noodles for a dollar more". I know up selling is part of the game, but the customer should be made aware of this extra charge. Remember, this is my first time to the restaurant. I got my food and went back to the office. I really enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls. The sweet chili dipping sauce was tasty and the spring roll was hot and crispy. I then pulled out the chicken from the bag. What the menu does NOT say is that the chicken is BATTERED! I was not expecting that! I wish that was also made clear. Then I took a bite. Where was the flavor? Where is the Thai Dynamite?!! Here is the description: Thai Dynamite : Sriracha chile sauce, soy, fresh lime, scallions, red bell peppers, carrots, Thai basil I got the carrots, the red bell peppers and the scallions, but NO Thai basil at all. If there was no Thai basil, I should have been told. Or perhaps the chef forgot to add it. The sauce had no flavor. I saw a splash of red on one of the chicken pieces so I ate that one plain to try the sauce and still there was no flavor. Bummer. I will not be returning to try other dishes. I feel kind of ripped off and I would have received a better meal at ANY local Chinese restaurant. No thanks.

We had no idea what we were walking into here. I guess I thought it was a typically sit down and be served restaurant? But you actually place your order and they bring your food out. The food was good, not really spicy enough for me. My biggest complaints was that the restaurant was dirty and the containers of sauce were in a serious need of cleaning. I was really surprised by this as I think Pei Wei is a chain? Even at McDonald's someone comes around with a broom once in a while!!

Popped in for quick take out and loved the reserved take out parking spaces, especially on a rainy afternoon. As a first timer, asked for recommendation between 2 dishes. Opted for the Pei Wei Spicy Chicken and was happy with the choice. Service was friendly and fast and the food was enjoyable.

I was at the St. John's Town Center and was looking for a fast and easy meal and I thought I would give Pei Wei's a try. So, I've never liked P.F. Chang's, so I really did not have high expectations of Pei Wei's. I did like the fact that the kitchen is open and viewable. I decide to play it safe and ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and wontons. The dining room is designed for single diners. The table I sat at had two plates and napkins, when I picked up the plates I noticed that the second plate was clearly dirty. I was a little scared by this. Our wontons came out before our meals, which was nice. They were okay wontons in a sweet chili sauce. I've had a lot better ones at Dragonfly in Gainesville. When my Lo Mein came out I was surprised about how large the vegetables were. I feel like they should have been chopped more. I also thought the noodles were very bland and boring as well as the sauce. I had some fried rice and thought that was boring as well. I still don't understand the success of P.F. Chang's and now Pei Wei's.

Good, but overpriced for what you get. Order stock velveted whenever possible if you don't want an early death from the excessive calories and sodium (just like their mother company PF Changs).

Basically same food as pf changs but faster and i like pei wei better because you can get dried rice. Same company as pf changs.

Delicious and Yummy Food! Yes some of the entrees may be a little on the salty side but too bad! The Thai Wonton soup,Chicken lettuce wraps and the Kung Pao Chicken are all really favorite items so far! Also certain items can be made with less fat upon request they call it "stock velveting" just ask...The Pei Wei Spicy my friend had was way too sweet/gooey and not even spicy but still certainly edible, but the Korean Spicy he had on the first visit was much better...I'm sure we will be back many times and try everything at least once!

  • Steven G.

Mediocre at best. Had the honey seared chicken - which appears to be fried despite the name - it was ok. Also had the teriyaki chicken which also was just ok. Vegetarian spring roles were not good. Lettuce wraps were about the same as pf changs. I won't be back

Food is good, IF you get what you ordered. 4 times got to go, 4 times got order wrong. Beware to inspect your food. Nothing worse then starving hungry and they forget sauces. Stay clear. If they cant get it right 1time, why bother

. This is PF Changs cheaper division. Mistake after mistake. Mama Fu's beats them hands down on San Jose, too bad MF did not open in Town Center. Parking? 20 minute line to get food in 10 minutes and then have mistakes? How hard is "sauce on the side"? Out of ingredients??? Out of rice??? Management should be fired.

If I could give zero stars I would. I haven't visited a pei Wei in over a year and I decided to run in and grab some food to go. I ordered the wasabi crunch roll, 2 crab wontons and a small order of the kung pao chicken. After about 10 min of waiting I grabbed my food and went back to work. First, I definitely didn't get the right sushi roll, I received what looked like a messy California roll with stuff thrown on it, next the cream cheese in the crab wontons wasn't even melted and lastly the Kung pao chicken....gross, it tasted like it had sat in soy sauce for the entire day. The chicken was burnt, the carrots are brown and mushy from soaking up the soy sauce, there aren't any scallions or garlic that I can taste and there's no "pao" what so ever, not even a speck of a red pepper. My advice, go down the street, save your money, this Pei Wei is the WORST.

    (1)
  • Lilly C.

The last couple times I've been to pei Wei the food as been too salty to the point that I couldn't finish my meal. It's a good value for the money if you get a small meal but they need to cut back on the salt.

I love the food. Like everyone else has said, it's basically a fast version of PF Changs. I sometimes find the menu a bit overwhelming, there are a lot of very different choices. Personal favorites are the lettuce wraps and chicken teriyaki. As other people have also mentioned, the parking lot is a disaster no matter when you go. I've been at 2pm during the week, thinking I could park with no issues and it wasn't even close to the case. The service is also sort of hit or miss. They never seem to have enough people at the registers. I don't remember stopping in here at any time when the line isn't basically to the door. If you have a lot of time and patience, go for it. If you're lacking on either of those, don't bother.

Updated review: I'm sad to say that we no longer visit Pei Wei. They went from being a weekly visit to somewhere that we do not plan on ever going to. A few months ago we had a string of about 5 visits that were absolutely terrible. Bad food, terrible service, dirty tables, and no napkins/utensils available. One time we stood in line for 10 minutes while they compiled take out orders. When we were finally noticed, they didn't even apologize for the wait or anything. I'm not sure what happened to Pei Wei, but they really need to figure it out and fix it before they lose all of their customers.

What's happened to this Pei Wei? I had been enjoying PF Chang and Pei Wei for quite some time but Pei Wei, not lately. Food portions seem to have gotten a tad smaller and not as tasty as when this place first opened up. What's changed? Whatever it is, y'all have to go back! Still love the lettuce wraps -- they are our favorite! We just no longer order the other menu items.

So if your order came correctly, it was fine. If, however, the kitchen made it incorrectly, you either never got your food or were given something with bits of the first incorrect meal mixed in. We ordered a vegetable meal, it was made with chicken. The "remade" vegetable meal came out with some chicken still in it. One of our other remakes never made it to our table.

I am a little confused by these poor reviews, and if I'm being perfectly honest, I am laughing (insultingly) at the people comparing this restaurant to Panda Express...and must question their taste and actual presence of a palette. I had never eaten at a Pei Wei before, but I'm a big fan of P.F. Chang's and am a lifelong lover and avid blogger of Chinese and Chinese/American cuisine. I visited the first week they were open and ordered a variety of dishes, including the Dan Dan noodles, hot and sour soup, pork egg roll and chicken lo mein. I really liked everything except the egg roll, which was indeed too greasy as another reviewer mentioned. Both noodle dishes were delicious and plentiful, and the soup was the exact same recipe as Chang's ( Best H&S soup in town). The seating system was not confusing and to be honest, it was very apparent as to how it was set up (where only rude people trying to cut in line would grab a table on their own...don't try to play off with ignorance). Anyways, I have since been back 4 or 5 times for the simple fact that the quality and portions are greatly in favor of the customer when compared to the cost. Definitely give it a chance if you like Asian cuisine. Comparing the restaurant to Panda Express, is like comparing Ted's Montana Grill burgers to McDonald's...seriously. I will be a very avid customer at this awesome new place to go in the Town Center, especially if you're looking to be a bargain eater. Thanks for coming to our neck of the woods Pei Wei! My family will surely be lifelong customers as long as the standards are held!

Three of us went to Pei Wei for lunch between business meetings. The food was good, but the service was only ok. The welcome and hospitality were present, but not enthusiastic. And two of us received our food in about 7-10 minutes, but the 3rd received his food 20+ minutes after asking about it, with no apology for the tardiness.
