The first time we came here I was skeptical about the whole "take & bake" thing & really didn't see the point in not just getting delivery. Boy did I eat my words! Papa Murphys is by far my favorite pizza in town. It is inexpensive & made to order. The sauce is deliciously sweet & you can cook the crust to the crispy-ness of your liking. We usually order the Cowboy (pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, onions) on thin crust. It comes with mozzarella, cheddar & parm cheese...yum! Perfect option for a lazy day or rainy night. This location is also right next to a publix. So, it is perfect to pick up some beers, salad, bread to accompany the pizza. When you check in on yelp you automatically get $3 off. Cant beat it!

Papa Murphy's provides wonderful take and bake pizza at a surprisingly affordable price. I enjoy baking my own pizza because I save on the tip and it's a lot less greasy! Check in and you'll receive $3 off a large or family sized pizza. My go-to pizza is the Cowboy but Papa's Favorite is excellent too.

Great pizza! I heard about this chain when visiting my family in Denver, CO and was confused as to why someone would want to bake their own pizza when you could call in and order it. I was quickly shown why when tasting it. I absolutely love the healthier options and the flavors and fresh quiet. Everyone at this location is extra friendly, and their cookie dough they sell is raw egg free so DIG IN!

Five stars for the quality of the ingredients alone. Crew is quick and courteous as well. Have eaten here six times in last year. Never disappointed.

Omgoodness talk about the best pizza ever!!! Family owned and operated. Love love love the staff and the owners even more! The bathrooms are clean clean clean! The food is fresh and tastes fantastic! I'm telling you these pizzas are the absolute best tasting pizzas ever ever ever!!! They have very cool specialty pizzas with Thai chicken and Mediterranean chicken pizza. If you're really bold- get a stuffed pizza. I ate 1 1/2 pieces and didn't eat again for 2 days! A regular for sure!

I was really surprised at how good this pizza was!! We got the thin crust and it was delish! The staff were very nice and they made the pizza a lot faster than I expected! It was easy to take home and bake and the toppings were very good.

I have to admit I was skeptical when I walked in. It looked like a Subway line with pizza items. But they quickly explained the concept, you walk in choose your pizza toppings and walk out with a ready to cook pizza. I did just that, bought, came home and cooked them and they turned out really well. Very easy to do and hot out of the oven. I really loved the double stuffed pie and the thin crust cheese we got, but the third style (hand tossed maybe) was not very good to me. However the stuffed crust was as good as I have had anywhere in this area.

Papa Murphy's is newer to the south, but very old to me. I grew up on this pizza, rarely ever ordered delivery. This is a childhood staple in the northwest and I was surprised when I found out they have a few down here. The service at every Papa Murphy's I've ever been to is amazing. They're kind and knowledgeable about pizza and the ingredients. The Chicago and Cowboy are some faves but honestly I've loved every different pizza I've ever ordered from here. If you love pizza and don't mind baking it yourself then Papa Murphy's is the place for you. Their ingredients are always fresh and you can see and taste the difference in quality. They also offer little kids pizza kits, so if you have children this is a fun way to interact with them and still allow them to feel like they're being "big kids". Happy Yelping...

Interesting concept I admit and by the reviews I read I decided I must try this pizza! The staff was all very nice and its very clean inside. It's really close to my Publix store and house so it's very easy for me to stop in here. After my pizza was made I couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. It was just an ordinary pizza to me. Nothing spectacular. Maybe it's my picky tastes or my regular oven? Nothing beats a piping hot bubbly crust fresh out of a burning brick oven! I think ill stick with the good ole' brick oven pizzas when I can.

If you have never tried Papa Murphy's Take N' Bake Pizza, you are missing out! My boss introduced me to Papa Murphy's when we were working in Orange Park. At the time, that was the only location. But in the last few years, they have expanded to Mandarin and the Intracoastal area. Papa Murphy's is a new concept for our area. When you place your order, they make the pizza but do not cook it (hence the take n' bake). You take the pizza home and cook it yourself, which is great for us because we buy them before holidays to cook when all the restaurants are closed! We got 2 large pizzas, one Pepperoni and one Cheese. The pizza comes in a cooking tray. It is a little weird at first because I thought the thing would burn up, but it doesn't! We cook the pizza in the tray, but my boss told me his trick. He gets the thin crust pizza and cooks it in the tray until the last 4-5 minutes. By taking it out of the tray at the end, it gives it a hard cracker type of crust. I am going to have to try that! The verdict-Papa Murphy's is great for when you want a pizza but don't feel like paying too much and want great value. They are always running specials and coupons so it's not unusual to get a large pizza for $6. Also, (by mistake) we have found out that the pizza's freeze well. You are supposed to eat the pizza within 24 hours, but we had ours in the freezer for a week (uncooked) and it still tasted great! The only thing I would suggest is to put some wax paper in between the pizza dough and the cooking tray before you freeze it (remove it before you cook the pizza). When we cooked ours the pizza stuck to the tray a little. But that was our fault and the wax paper should fix that.
