It takes a lot for me to type up a review on my little smartphone screen. What a terrible experience I just had tonight at this location. We come to this Panera every single Saturday morning after the gym and have never had a pitiful time, even when the line snakes out the door and there are barely enough tables for the breakfast crowd. We always get our food in a reasonable amount of time and it is always correct. Tonight, there were only two other orders ahead of our order which was: one bowl of tomato soup with an apple and a decaf cappuccino. 10 minutes later, the soup arrives (remember, NOT CROWDED). Another 5 minutes later, a big mug of steamed milk arrives. Wth? I know this isn't Italy, but I'm pretty sure a cappuccino has espresso in it. After I return the mug of steamed milk, another 10 minutes later, I have to tell the cashier to just forget it at which point she says, oh wait a minute, it's back here. That would infuriate even the most mild-mannered. So, if we're keeping track, 25 minutes for a decaf cappuccino that I don't even want anymore. Maddening that my husband had long finished his soup and I was still without my order. It wouldn't even take that long in the breakfast crowd. It wouldn't take that long if I had milked the cow myself. Let's not even address the fact that half of the menu items were unavailable. I get that the bakery items should be "fresh"(c'mon we all know that the bakery items are not baked fresh) but if you can't support half of your menu at night, then consider only serving breakfast and lunch.

I am a loyal Panera patron, but this place is disgusting! Stopped in for the first time on my way home from The Avenues....Saturday evening and not busy at all. Trash everywhere, unclean tables, filthy floors and bathrooms. We didn't even stay to eat. If it looks that bad in the dining area, I don't want to know what it looks like back in the kitchen where food is prepared! Management ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I have never had a bad expierence at this Panera. The service is always good and plates/tables cleared promptly. The space itself is always clean and well stocked. It's Panera so you know the food is amazing and healthy options are always available. They show the carlorie counts on the menu and full nutritional data online which is very helpful. Never any complaints here!!

I have been increasingly less and less impressed by Panera here. I got the turkey chili today and it was very gritty.

I don't really have anything bad to say at all about any Panera's location that I've ever been to. This one is close to my work, and so I tend to frequent this location more often than the others. There are so many different menu items to love. It's hard to choose just one. I love their Cinnamon Crunch Bagels with Hazelnut cream cheese, they have wonderful paninis, coffees, salads, soups (in breadbowls!), fresh baked other random goodies, awesome sandwiches. The atmosphere is also nice, calm, relaxing. You never feel rushed. They even have a healthier for you hidden menu (great if you are trying to go gluten free) , to find it look near the register area for one of those weird QR codes, and scan it with your phone. (Did you know this?!)

I come to this Panera probably once a week. It's busy, but there's always a place to sit. The service is great, everyone is so nice...and their salads, pasta, bagels, sandwiches, really everything tastes great. Again, a little pricy, but if I'm in the mood for a salad and a nice lunch get away, Panera is always my go to!

What more can you say about this place? Awesome pastries, freshly brewed coffees all day, friendly staff, and awesome meals. I love their soups and salads.

I hate having to qualify my reviews, but this Panera is held especially close to my heart. It was at this Panera that I had a three-and-a-half-hour conversation with my current girlfriend where we both realized that we should be together. I think that this is a testament to the atmosphere that Panera provides. It's a great soup/salad/sandwich shop/bakery where, provided you're not there around noon on weekdays, you can have a relaxing meal and great conversation. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great and the location is convenient to the Southside/Deerwood/Avenues area. It's a great place to go for a cheap date and a lighter meal without looking cheap or feeling like you didn't get enough to eat, provided that the "date" is at lunch time. It's a little light for dinner, in my opinion, though I have eaten there in the evenings. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good, reasonable meal.

Worst Panera Experience every. No one smiles, the lady at the register was rude. She made us feel like our orders were dumb and waited until we were half way done ordering to let us know they were out of avocado. When we asked for more green tea we were given attitudes. there was dirty on the sides of the booths and all the tables were disgusting. The only positive experience here was Mike, the assistant manager, he delivered our food for us and was quick to pick up our empty plates... and was the only one smiling! We will not be returning even tho this is walking distance from our home... we will travel to another location.

Doesn't even deserve a star. Went in middle of week about 7 pm. Went with my husband and ordered Cesar salad and 2 baked potato soup. They ran out of baguettes and they said they had dinner rolls. After getting our drinks the sweet tea was not, then there was not a straw in sight. I asked the rude server and she said if they are not by soda machine then there is none. When we got our food they said they ran out of bread. Wtf!!!!! How does a bakery run out of bread. They were making sandwiches and there was loaves of bread for sale. Cut up the loaf of bread. For the over priced food, how do you run out of bread! It will be long time before I go to another panera.

I find this location to be a little hit or miss. It's the closest Panera to both my office and my home but it's not necessarily the most convenient place to go. The entire parking lot can be very chaotic at meal times. I'm more likely to stop in for coffee and/or a sandwich before work and it can be a mess getting in or out given the traffic on Baymeadows (if you need to get on Southside like me, your best bet is to use the tiny side exit that is directly on Southside). Like other locations they have the ordering kiosks so you can skip the line. I find this location to almost be faster if you're dining in than if you are ordering to go. If you know you'll be headed there, you're better off ordering online before you live.

In my experience, this is a great place for large online orders placed in advance. I had to take care of a lunch need for a client business meeting in Deerwood Park, so opted to order online and collect from the Panera location on Baymeadows Road. I ordered the afternoon before at around 4:30pm and requested that the order be ready for collection at 11:25am the next day. I turned up a few minutes early and my order was already bagged up, ready to go. Everything was correct, everything that was supposed to be warm (paninis and soup) was warm, the sides were all exactly as I'd requested (apples and chips, no bread), all the special instructions had been followed (of which there were unfortunately many) and they had even put names on the individual bags for easier identification. Very impressed with their punctuality and accuracy as well as their large selection of lunch options.

I come to this panera once in while and I usually order the same stuff. Pick 2 menu: tomato basil and Napa almond chicken salad sandwich. I always love Panera's tomato basil soup than any other soup because it's creamy and like the taste. Very hot and love how the croutons just melt into the soup. The Napa almond chicken salad sandwich is very taste and they just can't screw that up. What I really like there is that he have the green tea punch drink and it's very refreshing. Just warning you that if you drink too much of it, you will end up using the restroom about every 20 minutes. Lol.

We went in the evening to this Panera to try their new Broth Bowls. While the Lentil Quinoa, Chicken bowl was good, it was a bit pricey. Had I not had a promotional discount, I think I would have felt like I paid too much. The worst part about this experience was the atmosphere. We went in a slow part of the evening. The staff was standing around the area that food comes out talking, yet there was small pieces of food and garbage all over the floors (more than you would expect). We also had a hard time finding a clean table. It was just abundantly clear that the staff was not taking advantage of the opportunity to get the place in order after the lunch crowd.

Although Panera is everywhere, some are better than others. This one at the corner of Baymeadows & Southside is my favorite. Great breakfast sandwiches, the best dark coffee anywhere, huge assortment always of breads, bagels & pastries, & great service. Lunch equally good with a variety of fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, & new soba bowls. Great venue for a one on one business mtg, a late breakfast, early lunch, or to pick up a baked treat to go. Reliable, consistent, & good

I used to go to Panera quite often back in 2000 when I first moved here and I thought the food was much better then, then now. Still good and they have updated their menu in the last year. The Asian salad is my favorite. Good sandwiches and soups (which change daily). Busy on Saturdays at lunch time, but very quiet early in the morning. I believe they open at 6:00am. Very good bread, bagels, rolls and breakfast on the bread side. Comfortable booths, chairs and a sofa to relax. Free Wi-Fi is nice too!

I love Panera bread however I'm disappointed with their French Onion soup. While there are plenty of onions and the broth is tasty, there is absolutely no cheese! What's French Onion soup with no cheese? The smokehouse turkey panini was delish as well as the chips. Love the server though she was very pleasant.

Panera as a whole and this location in particular has gone so far down hill I don't know if it's possible to make reparations. I placed my order at the counter for two Pick 2 meals for dine-in. The food came very fast, almost as soon as I had sat back down. The "salads" were just barely enough lettuce to cover the bottom of the bowl, and had no dressing on them. The croutons were soggy. The soup wasn't even remotely hot. When we picked up our flatware to start eating this "meal," the forks, spoons, and knives were all sticky and dirty. I brought them up to the pick-up window and asked for replacements. The manager(? guy in red shirt) made a very generic, not-even-listening apology and gave me more. The second set was just as dirty. My daughter took them to the ladies' room and washed them herself in the sink. Frustrated by the food, I went back to the pick-up window and asked for dressing for the dozen or so leaf-bits they call a salad. The same red shirt guy again apologized and gave me 4 cups of dressing. When my daughter and I were done eating, we stacked our dishes neatly and put all of our napkins and flatware on the plates, all nice and neat at the edge of our table. Those dishes sat there for a HALF HOUR while their busperson took care of every other table and actually walked by our table and this stack that obviously needed attention FIVE TIMES! This is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be eating anything other than a bagel from Panera ever again. At least you know they can't screw up something that all they do is pull out of the freezer! UPDATE: I sent my above comments to the corp hq of Panera, and again a really lame "sorry" via email and a eGift card for a whopping $10. TEN?!?!?! That didn't even cover the cost of this atrocious meal! They can't even do "making it right" properly!

I am SO impressed with this Panera Bread that I want to come here everyday! I like how you can order quickly from the kiosks at the front and customize everything. So quick and efficient. But the service, the service is better than any 5 star restaurant I have ever been to! Each staff member greets everyone as they pass. It makes me wonder if they work off tips. So friendly and always smiling. The food is fresh and amazing! The only thing here is that they get really busy during lunch at this location. But it's worth the trip. This place is excellent!
