I had the Super Breakfast. It was yum. The French Toast was amazing. Everything we had was good. Nothing super fancy but decent and we'll priced. The staff was definitely overwhelmed, but they were very nice.

My family and I were driving by and came across this gem of a place. We ordered the Oceana Benedict - the hollandaise is made fresh, the French toast is good, the corned beef hash is crisp and delicious, but the waffles are amazing - crisp on the outside soft on the inside !!! The food came out hot and fresh. We will definitely be coming back here again...... and the staff is very friendly, outgoing, AND HONEST!!!! I can't see this establishment disrespecting it's customers let alone cheating them out of their money..... I think that guy bad mouthing them is just a scorned employee trying to get even!!! This place is amazing and you should try it at least once!!!!

The wait staff is very nice and attentive. They have great customer service. The "super breakfast" was average and not full of flavor. My friend ordered the waffle fiesta and it looked amazing! I was told it was delicious. All in all it was good enough to come back.

It's apparent that it's all frozen food even the hollandaise the bare walls are not very inviting and the the dirty dishes on display across from beverage dispenser are not very attractive however the service is pleasant and quick and foods is prepared well the flavor is lacking portion sizes are good though

We went her twice for breakfast. The food was pretty good. Nothing great but good for breakfast food. However, they are a little shady. We left a cash tip on the table and when I went to pay I wrote in "cash" in the tip area on my receipt. But when I looked at my bank statement I see that they added another $5 to my bill on my bank statement. I think this is wrong!! We left a tip and they changed my receipt to give them more a tip. If you go here definitely check your back account to make sure they didn't add extra tip to your bill!! I won't be going back there because of this!!

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for breakfast. When we walked in, we were underwhelmed. The lack of decor and empty, unbussed tables were uninviting. We were greeted quickly & took a while to order. We decided on an omelet, home fries & the turkey club. The omelet had hardly any meat in it and was not fluffy in the slightest. The potatoes were great though, the best thing we had. The turkey club was just plain boring and dry. There was no mayo or anything on it to make it moist, it was just a dry sandwich. The hostess/busser was eagerly trying to take our plates before we had finished, we felt rushed. She gave us a punch card telling us our 10th meal would be free, but we won't be returning. This seems like a one time stop, as the food, atmosphere and staff is under par.

Stopped in for breakfast around 8:30. Coffee was served immediately, I ordered sausage gravy eggs and potatoes. It was served in a timely manor and delicious. I am happy I stopped in today. Great place for breakfast.

I enjoyed my breakfast this morning. I had the Turkish platter which consisted of scrambled eggs with Turkish sausage, feta, olives, tomato, and cucumber. The service was great as well. The space is very open and well lit, very minimalist decor, like a cross between a diner (which it is) and a restaurant. I look forward to returning. It's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood in terms of breakfast and lunch.

We came in for breakfast after Waiting 30 minutes for Mambo's to open and there was no one there. The staff here was friendly and very attentive. We ordered four different breakfast items. The waffle fiesta had fresh strawberries and bananas with generous amount of whip cream. The super breakfast was ok. The pancake could be more flavorful. I got a meat/cheese sandwich with ham, egg and cheddar cheese. It had plenty of ham, egg and cheese on it. They have turkey patties, bacon sides that are all reasonably priced. I would come back it was a good deal for the price.

Probably the best place I have eaten since moving g to Jacksonville. The French Toast was amazing and everything was cooked with a homey touch....

This place has only been open four weeks and the service and the food were quick and delicious. The owner came to make sure everything was right. The place was very busy. He said he never expected to be this busy today. So, even more impressive that food and service was delicious and served promptly. I had the Mediterranean omelette with egg beaters, grits and wheat toast. Yes! They have good grits. My husband got a Reuben and fries. The Reuben was classically delicious. The fries were hot and crispy. They easily accommodated a group of eight that came in just before us. We plan to bring our family and guests here next weekend. They will be open Easter.

This new, local business caught my eye in Folio Weekly some time ago, and now that I hear a waffle house is opening next door (Boooo, like we need another chain restaurant on beach blvd!) I decided to check Oceana out: Walking in, the place is simple and clean. Very friendly staff and the morning rush hustle meets you immediately at the door. The Fiesta Waffle looked like a tower of fluffy, fruity goodness: It was sooooo delicious. If you're looking for indulgence, the fiesta is your choice all the way. My two friends enjoyed the Turkish Breakfast Platter and the Super Breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly, great sides and timely service. The Turkish platter is light, fresh and unique. Topped with some of that coffee and you got yourself a well balanced meal that you won't feel overstuffed from. Super Breakfast is well executed and classic: Two of my favorite things. I love their regal espresso machine, which delivers very hot well made espresso that serves as a perfect little pick me up in the early morning. Overall this is a solid place to enjoy breakfast and focus on who you are with or the paper you're reading. It's not crazy loud, service is fantastic, coffee is flowing, food is cooked well and decor is simple. No stress environment. I am rooting for this local family business' success here in Jax. Will be back again!

Good breakfast, fast service. I had the country omelette with toast and home fries. Wish home fries were cut in smaller chunks though. I have been here several times and this place only seems to get better. I see they took my recommendation and finally added some pictures for a theme. Looks very nice. Food here is much better than the previous restaurant here.

It's close to my house. and if the wait is too long at First Watch I'll head over again. Otherwise- it's fairly standard diner fair- albeit it at a reasonable price. Crab benedict was the clear stand-out- nice, fresh crab meat served over perfectly poached eggs and topped with a basic hollandaise sauce. The potatoes that came with it were a bit of a miss- unevenly cooked- too large of a cut- and too conservative with the spices. I think the owners should crank up the 'greekness' factor of this diner to really stand out. Offer up some moussaka, some phyllo dough delights, get some quality shwarma meat going on a spit that you put together in house. We need that desperately in Jacksonville. If you build it.....

Please can I get a hooray and a hallelujah. Finally somebody who makes an omelet the way I do. They mix the eggs with the filling almost like a quiche. Now this used to be the Over The Ditch restaurant and it is the same but agin with a fresh coat of paint and some different pictures on the walls. I ate there a few times and it was pretty good. The ceiling tiles still have the same water stains that I remember. When I walked in I was greeted by to I'm guessing greek guys leaning on their elbows at the counter. The menu is different now with a few greek additions to it. I went with a country omelet and I was really happy with it. I was also happy to see butter on my toast and not a bucket of ice cold butter pats. In all this was a good meal and I will be back soon enough since I'm working at the beach some now.

A wonderful diner with friendly, fast service. The omelets are divine - fluffy, full of fresh ingredients and hot - and the home fries are my new favorite go to side. Shout out to Jasmine for superb service.

Good, not amazing though. Friendly staff, attentive service. I had the Monte Cristo. Wasn't exactly what I expected, but tasty nonetheless. Service was quick, but it was a rainy day and 1:30 in the afternoon.

Stopped here last Sunday after seeing a paid ad on facebook... Liked the guys story and wanted to check it out. They up and moved here on a whim 6 months ago and opened the place. I had a burger that day... I don't know how to explain it really. Just a regular burger no special topping or anything,.. But was the moistest burger I've ever had in my life and the bun was perfect... Had a to be at least a 1/2 lb burger. I liked it so much that Monday i sent an employee to pick up 15 of these burgers for the guys from work. Will definitely return.
