Well I recently moved to the area. My boyfriend worked at a Moe's where I am from and I would eat it most everyday because it was pretty good and it was a great chance to see him. This Moe's on the other hand is way better. Every Moes is different because it's a franchise so I get that. This Moes actually salts their chips. The other Moe's does not salt their chips. I love salty chips and that's why Qudoba has been a favorite of mine. So there's one star for salty chips! I also like a place that has lots of people in it. It means that people like what they're serving and how they're serving it. The old Moe's was always dead but this place is always hopping!!! Although that does mean for a longer wait time but I do like to see the business! I don't love the rice. It's not as fantastic as chipotle but I do like their chicken and ground beef. I don't really go places for the food. I personally go for the service and that's why I like this specific Moe's!

I've passed Moe's in a bunch of different cities on my travels this year but this is the first time I gave them a shot. I wish I could give an interesting review one way or the other but quite honestly everything about it was kind of just 'meh'. Average fast food American Mex with slightly bland flavors. A fairly generic dining experience. I much prefer the likes of Rubios (which I don't think you can find in this part of the country) or Filibertos (also not available in Jax) or something more authentic when it comes to Mexican food. The prices were a bit high for Mexican fast food, especially since the portions weren't extremely large. They do offer free chips and salsa with your meal but the salsa options weren't very good and certainly not spicy in the least. I think it's unlikely I'll try Moe's again since there are plenty of better options in the area.

I've lived 4 years near Mo's and had never tried it. My loss !!! Been back quite a few times. Quick service and food is decent for a fair price.

All Moe's are the same to me. Not that it's bad, there's just nothing to make any one stand out from the next, but I'm still a fan of Moe's. The staff here are friendly and efficient. I've been to this one a couple of times and enjoyed the food. I wish they'd make fresh guacamole, but that's just a personal preference. The restaurant is clean and so is the bathroom. It's attached to a strip mall, but with a small, sectioned off parking lot. I absolutely abhor the parking situation since it ALWAYS seems busy and/or full. But there's a bigger one nearby and in a short walking distance.

Liked there pork rice bowl, nice serving size. Needed quicker staff. Waited almost 15 min with only three customers in front.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
