Came here for breakfast this morning and I enjoyed myself. I ordered the Steak and Eggs and some Hot Mint Tea. My food was a tad bit too salty for my taste and I didn't really care for the butter that was on the steak. It had something in it that I just didn't like. But other than that, it was okay. The wait to be seated was a bit long, especially since there were plenty of staff standing around talking. Someone could've at least said something to those of us that was waiting. But once I was seated, my waitress was very pleasant. I also really loved the ambiance, it was just kind of cool and jazzy!!! I would like to return here for dinner with my husband, I think...

Once upon a time, this was a great restaurant. I stress WAS because the kitchen staff TOTALLY BLEW IT! EXTREMELY long wait, POOR kitchen staff management and performance. When our food arrived, it was segmented, inaccurate and even cold. The manager only checked with my party after we had waited 2 hours for our orders AFTER the food arrived!!!! His only concern was discounting our food so he could disappear; no focus on correcting the issues. Although Alma and the wait staff was EXCEPTIONAL, MiMi's has let me down... #restaurantservice #hasleftthebuilding

Decided to visit Mimi's tonight to do a breakfast for supper treat. Location is in the heart of the town center. We were greeted by a rude and flat affect hostess. The place was basically empty but they could not seat us in a booth. She told us we could wait 15 minutes for one. So we sat at a table by four empty booths. The very next group that came in were seated in the booth. So the hostess flat out lied to my face!!!! Yikes. No integrity. Our server, Alma, saved the day and experience. She contacted the manager on duty regarding the subarctic temperature. He addressed the temperature after messing around doing other things. This was disappointing considering others were saying the same thing. We did not feel like guests by rather a bother. So our server got us moved to a booth that was not under the jet blast of air and away from the dirty carpet/musty feet smell. The meal started off with French baguettes and carrot spice bread. Delicious. We had to wait a long time for our meal. Considering the place was not busy, this was surprising. Food was excellent. Griddle cakes were excellent. Loved the Turkey sausage. Spices made them flavorful. Apple bacon waffles were excellent. Had to wait a bit for drink refills and they forgot part of my husband's order. Not sure if I will be in a rush to come back.

Our server Shaniqua was awesome! So attentive and very funny. And the muffins are soooooo delicious! I cant get over it! I got the avocado and bacon omlette substituted the bacon for turkey sausge. It was good. My hubby got the "fresh made corned beef" HA no it was from a can.. I know what fresh corned beef looks and tastes like. The service made are visit worth it.

Nice place. I love the decor; very sweet and fun. We came here this morning to celebrate our friend's birthday, and had a great time. Our waitress was very friendly and she never made us feel rushed. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had a beautiful smile. I didn't know they had a mimosa flight, which I love the concept, but the minis were just fine for our group. I ordered their original French toast, the brioche, which came with two eggs and choice of meat (I got bacon, of course). The French toast was fantastic. I try not to eat bread and decided to splurge for this occasion, I'm happy this was my chat. SO worth it. My friend noticed that they took the calorie counts off the menu, haha. They were smart to do that, because it's ridiculous how many calories a quiche has! Let alone the other dishes. *Tip: They put butter all over your waffle or French toast, if you want it on the side: Ask for it! My ladies preferred the begin waffle and the two egg breakfast. Must've been good because all our plates were basically cleaned! I had to wrap part of my French toast because I was so full, and my friend took one of Mimi's legendary muffins home for her beau, haha. I'm happy I got to check this place out a little more; great for groups and mimosas!

The food here is good... The prices are decent. If you haven't been here before it's worth trying at least once. I'm a fan of the Turkey and dressing.... The service here is always very good and everyone is super friendly.

I recently hosted my daughter's baby shower here. The management and serving staff were so helpful in providing us with a private space, a customized menu, and hospitality for the event. I'm out of town, and it made it effortless for me to plan both the space and the catering all at once. We were able to set up decorations and have tables for gifts and cupcakes--all with minimal cleanup. I highly recommend Mimi's at the Town Center for a hassle-free event that you and your guests will be able to relax and enjoy.

I have always been a Mimi's fan...but our last visit here was not really very good. I would have taken off more stars, but our server really tried to make the best of a bad situation. Apparently they were short several stall the night I visited, and we had to sit for a really long time before our server came to help us. Normally I would have left, but we had a coupon we wanted to use here.

Consistently underwhelming. Horrible service coupled with mediocre food. We have awesome local breakfast and brunch places in this area, my advice is give them your business.

I have been interested in visiting this restaurant for a long time. This morning, I woke up early, and by 8:15am, I was ordering my meal. I understand that sometimes we write bad reviews because the service is not the best. This is the reason why I went there early on Sunday. I could not write about service when every single table is taken. First, I had not idea that this is a French restaurant. It is like going back to the past, and spend some time in the dining room of the Titanic. The decoration, the cooks and waiters' uniforms, the music, the furniture, all contribute to make you feel that you are at a special place. Even the restroom were different, very elegant and very clean. What did I have? I had Hickory-smoked ham and cheese omelet, well done, big portion. It has red and green peppers, caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese. I ordered toast instead of muffin. Overall, a good omelet, the way is supposed to be done. I had coffee, but it was not great. I like my coffee very strong. Also, perhaps they don't use very good coffee, but this is easy to understand, otherwise, coffee would be more expensive. Finally, I had a carrot raisin but muffin. It was huge I have to say. Just good enough. Advice: if you would like to eat here on the weekend, be there early, before 9am. You will enjoy good food, and prompt and good service.

The 2 stars are only based on the experience we just had. We've been before and never had any problems but this completely made us never want to go back. We waited for 20 minutes to sit which is totally fine we expected to wait. Once we sat down we ordered right away and 45 minutes later we asked the manager about our food and all he said was "oh the croissants are still in the oven" no "oh sorry we didn't tell you" or apologizing for it taking 45 minutes and it hasn't even been started. Probably won't ever go back though which is a shame. Even with a coupon totally wasn't worth it.

I just left here and I'm still hungry, because after waiting 20 minutes to get sat and then another 35 minutes at my table, I never received my food. It shouldn't take over half an hour to make scrambled eggs. I had to flag down my waitress Lexi to at least get the muffin that I ordered. Such awful service, I'll never come back. I never got a chance to tell the manager because he never came by. Don't waste your time or money - there are plenty other places in this area to eat.

It is cold! Bring a jacket. I came about 3-4 pm. Completely empty. The bread basket was delicious. I ordered the keiche Florentine. It was delicious. It comes with a muffin so I got the B spice. The service was great. Server's name was Jessica and she was very nice and courteous. The turkey brie melt was also delicious! It has apples that add a nice refreshing crunch to the sandwich. The keiche was good, but it wasn't my favorite. I feel like it needed more spinach. I gave this place a four because I came preciously and the service wasn't great. Overall, I think it is a nice little place for the price. Also, you get free muffins and stuff with the survey. They are delicious!

Had breakfast here this morning. Service was excellent my waitress was Shaniqua. Atmosphere was general nothing really special. I think it needs to be updated or carpets deep cleaned. ( dusty) Food was average. Served warm not hot. The best thing about our visit was really the service.

The majority of my restaurant visits are driven by either Groupon, Restaurant.com or Living Social coupons. However, I am a member of the Mimi's Cafe email club and I frequently receive coupons for free muffins, croissants and buy 1 get 1 free meal deals. My husband and I went on a Saturday for a late lunch, sat at the bar. The bartender is always very attentive, provides a good amount of small talk and never gives us issues with our frequest coupons. I had the french dip sandwich with french onion soup... it was very good, although not completely outstanding. The husband had the sourdough avocado burger. I would not normally order something like this but after one bite I wanted to trade plates with him! Probably not the healthiest thing to eat but it was definitely a good indulgent cheat meal. We will continue to visit and have never had a bad experience here.

We went on a Sunday early dinner , there were only 3 tables that was active. On the get go our server was really nice! I will give her 5 stars. We ordered an spinach artichoke dip and it was the same with other restaurants that ive been nothing special but the carrot raisin bread and the bread sticks that was for starters was excellent. Then I ordered the half rack chicken with fries. The chicken was 5/10 but the fries was the downfall , it was oily the it was dripping. I didn't eat it at all. I told the manager when he came over that the fries was so oily, he said" there are still practicing how to make it right". Overall the price was decent , its not a fine dining experience, the service was superb but the main course i had was mediocre. Maybe the breakfast menu will be better. Would i do it again for dinner most probably not.

Breakfast is fantastic! Sausage is full of flavor and super moist. Coffee is excellent here. I'm headed back second weekend in a row. I only give four stars because their selections are limited. I.e. no nondairy milk or skim milk, we hit several dead ends. Meal was still with it though.

Given two stars for the aesthetics and quality of taste of the food. The service, however, is horrible. Zero refills on our waters or soda/juice. Charlene (our waitress) seemed annoyed every time she was at our table despite us being timely with our orders and courteous throughout the meal. For the price they put on the food ($3 plus tax/tip just for a croissant and $10 plus tax/tip for a medium sized omelette) the service should be better. I've worked in food service and know what it's like, thus I empathize with waiters a great deal so it takes a lot for me to say something negative about customer service, but I won't be coming back here.

3.5 stars I've only ever ordered off the breakfast menu. When you are okay with waiting on a table this place is a nice Saturday brunch spot. Great service and food every single time I attend. And every time there is a long wait our waiter seems to bring us a complimentary muffin so we are leaving over stuffed. I like to try anything new they have for the season but I normally stick with the Cinnamon Brioche French Toast. It's the perfect blend of a cinnamon roll and french toast. Paired with eggs and hash it becomes a great start to a slow afternoon. And if you can't finish the toast it makes a great dessert for later.

One of our favorite stops along the way from PA to Florida. While I have seen many long waits, not so on a Saturday afternoon. My favorite is the eggs Benedict and the muffins are amazing. Try the brie cheese sampler for a great start to the meal.

Breakfast was exceptional. 4 stats because the staff is kinda slow and it was not busy. Also I ordered white toast and it came out looking not very today's toasted. I asked for new toast I received toast but it was cold what the heck. Andouille sausage and red pepper omelet was good potatoes cooked well also seasoned nicely I would eat here again.

Happened to be in the area and was hungry so walked into this place.never heard of it before but always down to try something new. first we had to wait 10-15 mins to be seated and there was tons of open seating that was in plan view. Menu was okay but seemed like a lot of fancy breakfast that didn't sound interesting. Got simple bacon an eggs which came with toast and potatoes. . Everything was good some of the potatoes seemed under cooked.. it was a decent meal but seemed way over priced for the quality..would rather go to waffle house

Om nom nom, Mimi's! Came here for breakfast with the hubby while we waited for the center to open. I sprang for the pumpkin pancake plate and oh, do I ever so much not regret it in the least. They had a caramel apple drizzle that really made the plate become the taste of autumn on a plate. The leaves may not turn here, but in fall time culinary delights... Mimi's has you covered. ;) They also offer a pumpkin muffin, but I was too stuffed to try it. I didn't see the pumpkin latte on the menu that Julie raved about in her 2011 review, but if we go back in the next little while you can bet I'll be hunting for it! My meal came with a meat and eggs, I opted for corned beef hash, and soft poached. The hash was a style I'm not familiar with, but was really really good and did not disappoint. They successfully executed my soft poached order, those eggs could run a marathon with their runniness! It also included a fruit cup, which was your typical mostly melon selection. It had one strawberry though, and the way they cut it made it the highlight of the bowl. It even overtook the pineapple! My hubby had a corned beef benedict, can't remember the name of it and can't find it on their website. It was larger than your average benedict, and the potatoes it came with were super delicious. One thing that cracked me up- his soft drink costed more than a coffee would have. On that note, not all the prices posted on online menus for Mimi's are accurate, but we got out for $24 for the two of us. Not bad, especially for the massive amount of delicious food! I even have leftover pancakes. Worth checking out if you're in that area for breakfast. Go early though (before mall opens at 10) if you don't want a wait, the crowds were assembling as we left!

Worst service I've seen. We waited for 3.5 hrs. And never were served the manager Rachel has no business being a manager. She was not prepared for the amount of people. It was graduation weekend and she had no clue. The waitress had a very poor attitude.

It's tough, going to work at what? 6a on a Sunday...still, Jaimie was professional, prompt and courteous...that's WAY more appreciated than the ho hum corned beef hash Benedict, just saying.

Terrible food. Chicken Pot pie was burnt and we sent it back. We waited over 30 mins for it to arrive. The next one delivered was under baked. French Pot Roast needed to be cooked as well. Called the mgr over and he told us they serve their vegetables "Al Dente." How do you separate carrots from Pot pie and Pot Roast? Last time here!

Meh. Not great... but not horrible. Boyfriend got the grilled cheese, which was good. I made the mistake of getting the blt, which was awful (hardly had bacon on it). The service sucked too. Ordered mimosas in the beginning and didn't get them til our food came (we had to ask about them). And didn't refill our water either. You would of thought it was during a busy hour, but no... they were extremely slow. I wouldn't recommend.

We keep giving Mimi's a chance because any open business is a good thing for the city. When it first opened, they had great food and great service. For a while the food waned, and portion sizes were really small and lacked flavor. Mimi's revamped the menu, with lots of great choices. It's been quite a while since visiting, so decided to give them another chance last night. The restaurant was not overly crowded. The waitress took our order, and there we sat for 45 min. I had asked for a house salad to start. I was assuming at the 45min mark when the salad was delivered, at that point it would be with the entree. I was wrong - the entrees took another 10min (which is normally fine, I like to have time between salad and main course, but we're talking 55min for relatively simple entrees). The entrees were finally delivered to us - warm in spots, at best. It was getting late, so we didn't complain; we didn't want to wait any longer on a new order. The table next to us also complained to the waitress that the more expensive steak she talked them into was cold. To her credit, she did offer to have the kitchen make a new one. But they too said they didn't want to wait for another - the diner actually allowed her to nuke it in the microwave! I will say, when the luke warm food was delivered, it would have been fantastic if it was only delivered at the appropriate temperature. I had the sourdough avacado bacon burger with fries. Because the fries were not hot and apparently sat a while- they had already started to enter the soggy stage. My partner had the Quiche Lorraine, and it too was absolutely cold in spots, but he said the flavor was decent. Having eaten here a good number of times and having had either poor service or poor food one too many times, makes this the last time we will go.

I first had a chance to try Mimi's Cafe when I lived in California & the first one I went to was in the 909. This place is pretty good and I have never had a terrible experience here. I usually get one of their salads & a soup & I'm always happy with my choice. So far, I have had Mimi's Original Cobb Salade, Asian Chopped Salade, Bleu Cheese, Walnut & Strawberry Salade, Mediterranean Salade with Herbes de Provence Chicken, Mimi's Original Corn Chowder, Roasted Tomato & Basil Bisque, Mimi's Original French Onion & the Fall Harvest Salade. Overall for a chain, the atmosphere is nice and service is usually pretty good. However, the best part of the meal is when they bring out the warm muffins with butter to start. Last time we had to ask for it, but in my opinion (and since I hardly ever get out that way) it's worth the price of driving out to the town center if I'm in the area. 4 STARS.

I had a chance to dine here on a Saturday night with friends from out of town. The staff was great and very accommodating since we had a baby. Menu is French with a twist but I was surprise they didn't offer any duck on the menu. I went with a bacon cheeseburger with egg. The burger was decent nothing to rave about and the fries were dry and old. My wife ordered the spinach quiche which was alright. The decor was old world France, with a lot of pictures to keep your eyes entertained. I am not sold on the place but I would give it another try maybe for breakfast.

Well first of all i have been at this restaurant before and i recalled it to have netter service that was about 3 years ago or more. Now i will start that it took them almost 30 mins to seat us. Even though half of the restaurant was empty. It seems that they were using only half of the restaurant for some reason. Anyway we sat down at our table and our hostes gave us menus abd our waiter ask for our drinks. We got our drinks and my son in law was ready but we were not and our waiter was kinda unhappy about it. He left came back about 5 min later. Well we order and that is when we notice that his hands were what it look to me dirty. Black grime under the nails. Disgusting. Our food was served promptly and it was very good. By the way the were out of my son first choice. My soup boullabaise delicious. My daughter quiche look really good. All the food and appetizers were excellent. Last but not least. My son bought some bread similar to what we were served and in order to pay no cashier to pay in the meantime employees going by and ignoring him. So annoying finally after about 8 minutes a lady comes by and ask if we wanted to buy the bread. Git our money and we left. This restaurant needs some management to correct this problems before they have a longer list of complaints. I will not be back anytime soon or maybe i should try them again to see if it was the evening crew of tuesday's the problem or is management. I gave it three stars because the food was good but the service deserves only one star

Waited at the front door for about 8 minutes before we were ever greeted. Our server stopped by the table within a minute or 2. I ordered the meatloaf, was not much bigger than a quarter pound hamburger. The mashed potatoes were cold. It took about 50 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our food. We arrived at 6:30 and finally paid and left a little after 8PM. I had a similar experience a couple years ago and finally decided to give them a try again. This was my last visit.
I have been here one other time in the past for dinner at it was pretty good. This visit was for breakfast. I ordered the Strawberry waffles perdu with scrambled eggs, pork sausage links and potatoes. It was all pretty good but nothing to write home about. I was a little disappointed in the potatoes. They were pretty bland even with herbs visibly all over them. I wouldn't have been able to eat them with out ketchup. The waffles were good but I wish they had at least a little crunch to them. I didn't like that apple juice is considered a premium drink and costs $4.50 for a "large" glass. The service was good and the food came out pretty fast as well. I don't have any issues returning here in the future but it won't be my first choice.

Food is mediocre... The rice pilaf was so mushy that I thought it was mash potatoes! Terrible! I had our server take it back to let the chef know. No apologies or maybe could have offered a discount for a futre dining...NONE.. Will not come back.

I went in to see about hosting a holiday get together there. It was during the early part of the lunch hour, but they did not seem unusually busy. However, I was kept waiting for over 25 minutes, occasionally having people ask me what I needed, and assuring me that the manager would be right with me. For 25 minutes. I walked out.

We keep coming back here because the food is always good (not great) and the prices are pretty decent. The thing that has unimpressed me the most is the bread pudding. I LOVE bread pudding and their version didn't do it for me at all - I actually only took about 2 bites of it. The french onion soup is just "so-so," it wasn't terrible, but nothing stood out about it to make me want to order it again. I really love their roast beef. That's my go-to meal here. My hubby generally always orders the turkey and dressing. But beware, the menu tells you it's cornbread dressing, but being from Mississippi, I an absolutely assure you it is stuffing and not cornbread dressing. We've always had excellent service. Every server we've had has gone above and beyond each and every time. The restaurant is very clean and has a very nice ambiance.

Awful service and mediocre food. Didn't have flat wear to eat our meal with when the food was served, even had to get up to ask someone for a set as our waitress didn't come by to check in. As for the food - the potatoes were supposed to be like a potato cake but we're basically uncooked mashed potatoes. Wouldn't recommend unless you like chain restaurants and unenthusiastic staff.

Eldred M.
Paid too much for mediocre sandwich and soup. Their desserts are good, but only seem to come in small portions. The atmosphere is decent and I would go back in a group setting, but I'm not trying to go back anytime soon. I honestly only went because I had a buy 1 get 1 free entree.

I have to give this place a 1 start even tho the food is good not great just good. I'm very confused about the theme inside. Theres French music with New Orleans Jazz posters, I mean really? This looks like a pizza joint gone wrong. This place is not organized at all. The waiters and waitresses seem like they do not know what they are doing. How long does it take to clean a table off? You don't see urgency from anyone to keep tables up or the appearance of the place. It's not like this place is busy, I'm maybe the fourth person in here. I would hate to see the back.

I have eaten here a number of times and have yet been disappointed. The pot pie is the best in town and the muffins are amazing!!!
We love this place but the service is slow. The place wasnt busy we waited forever for our check had to ask up front for it. We won't be back until its fixed

Long wait for a table for a table for 7 on a Friday for lunch. My Cobb salad was decent but certainly not the best I have ever eaten. Several other salads ordered as well as a couple of quiches. Tasted the quiche and it was delicious. All of our orders came with choice of muffin. Decent service.

Honestly the worst food I've ever encountered at what looks like a decent restaurant! I started off with the clam chowder soup and I thought it was very good. Then I ordered the bacon avocado cheeseburger on brioche bread. The bread was stale, the actual burger patty was so small, the waitress forgot my fries and when she did bring them out they were drenched in oil. I didn't finish the burger and the fries weren't even worth trying. I came home and had the worst stomach pains, followed by a night in just making round to the toilet. And did I mention the wait after we put in our order was over an hour? This place is not worth the hype.

My husband and I recently visited Mimi's cafe for breakfast. The restaurant was empty, however it took us 5 minutes to be seated. We were seated and I ordered the Le California Avocado BLT Omelet, and my husband ordered the Pom me Lyonnaise Benedict, which the waiter told him was made with poached or hard boiled eggs. We made it clear he didn't want runny eggs. When we received our order the omelet was egg flapped over a slice of cheese with old tomatoes on top and two slices of bacon and sliced avocado. I assumed an omelet had the ingredients on the inside. My husbands eggs were runny and he couldn't even eat it. The waiter never came by to see how we were doing. It was a horrible experience. I received a survey on my receipt so I decided to take the survey and explain what happened. I heard back 8 days later with a vague response, basically apologizing and telling me they hope I come back. Seriously? This is crazy! Mimi's really needs to be more attentive and have better customer service skills, or the already empty restaurant will be closing! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DON'T EAT HERE!

Had breakfast at MiMi's on a Sunday. They had coffee and a pumpkin coffee cake in the waiting area, which was welcome and lovely. We were sat immediately so we tried out the cake on the way out. The service was awesome. Top notch. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. 5 stars. Food: we ordered the strawberry waffle perdue, mimis classic waffle, mimis original pain perdue, and the pomme lyonnaise benedict. All were very delicious - great flavors! The pain perdue was a small portion for the price. We ordered the grande breakfast add on for $2 more, which was a good value - 2 eggs and a side of meat. The eggs were seasoned well - didn't have to douse them in Tabasco or salt and pepper. The benedict left my husband a little hungry and the strawberry waffle looked small, but the classic waffle was big. Minus one star because it was a little pricey.

Gave Mimi's a try even after reading some bad reviews. The service was not welcoming at all. I had the worst steak ever. It had no taste at all and it wasn't cooked properly. At least A1 sauce helped and fries were decent. That's the only reason for the 2 stars. The only reason I might try this place again is to try their sandwiches since they looked pretty good.
Food is great. I had corned beef hash Benedict. It tasted wonderful. Hostess service was slow and restaurant eating area was dusty and dirty. Wait staff Kat was nice and helpful.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I walked into Mimi's. The decor reminded me of a weird mix between an old school diner and a southern kitchen. Kinda strange. But hey, I got invited there for a free dinner and a presentation. So, as one who never turns down a free meal, I ventured back to the meeting room to check out the pre-selected menu. I chose the citrus salmon, which was excellent. A well-cooked, nicely portioned piece of salmon was presented alongside lemon, lime and orange slices. It was accompanied by a fresh mixed greens salad with strawberries and balsamic vinagarette. I've heard that this is a great breakfast spot but I must admit, contrary to my first impression, it's pretty good for dinner as well.

Despite the negative reviews the food was better than most. Wait time was about 10-15 mins only bad part was the fact that it was a lot of empty seats and the wait was still long. I ordered the apple bacon waffles with a side of fruit and corned beef hash. The waffles came out hot and with my biggest pet peeve WARM syrup!!! The sides were ok nothing to special. Also, very affordable. I will suggest this place to my friends!

The food took forever to come out The waiters suck she was rude short and never same around It took her 20 minutes to get bread.

Came in with a friend of mine on a Sunday after church, idk why they had to sat us at the little booth at the corner, which was kinda odd because it was right there(if you ever been there before, you will see a very odd booth by the server's computer) So whenever a server swipe cards or putting orders in, you can clearly hear it hitting the back of your head. The second problem was a fly kept flying around the booth and that was really nasty.... Service was ok, food was ok. Idk why the fresh fruit was hot tho... That was my friends very first time and she doesn't think that she will be back.

The food is good but for some reason I always leave there a little disappointed. I did enjoy the Cobb salad I ordered but I guess that I always expect a little more out of Mimi's than I think I get.

Mimi's is basically located at the opening gate of the St. Johns Town Center. And that's important to mention because, while driving, it's very easy to zoom right past this place. But you shouldn't. On my first visit there, I liked the clean atmosphere and the inside was very spacious. On this day, the place was crowded, but the noise level wasn't so high that I couldn't hear the people at my table. That's a big plus for me. Another big plus for me was the food itself. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich and it was superb. It was the right portion and the fries were fantastic. However, I do have to give this place a couple of knocks. At first, our server was fast and polite and nice. But when our food came out, she basically disappeared. I needed some honey mustard for my fries, but I ate about half of them before she even came back. We had a tough time finding a parking space because, well, it's the Town Center and everyone likes to be there at the exact same time. All that said, the bottom line about this place is, if you get great service and easily find a place to park, it's not a bad dining experience. The cafe isn't the most sought after place in the Town Center, but it's a solid brunch spot in town.

My cousin and I were just at Mimi's Cafe today. I ordered the warm turkey, brie, and green apple sandwich (I cant remember the exact name) and a bowl of the original French onion soup. The food was great and they have really good sweet tea. My only complaint is the long wait, but it was lunch time, so that can be forgiven.

Went there for today at 9:30 AM. Seated right away. We ate breakfast. My wife had an omelette, toast, and potato fries. I had a large orange juice with pancakes, eggs, and turkey sausage. It was delicious. Service was great. Food was great. It was only 22 bucks. Definitely be back.
Not very good, the food isn't good, service decent.

I walked in and asked the host if I could take a look at their menu and became slightly turned off because the menu was sticky and covered in syrup. I decided that it wasn't enough to turn me away completely so I gave them a try. The decor of the restaurant is super cute. A mix of old-town Bourbon street, very tasteful, warm and cozy. The food was OK, but nothing spectacular. I had two eggs with their breakfast potatoes and and toasted bread. The stickiness did not stop at the menu, our table was also sticky and so were the drink menus that were placed at the center of the table.

Was excited to try Mimis for breakfast. Upon arrival we were told their would be a 15 min wait. 30 min later they still hadn't sat anyone and there were still 4 parties ahead of us. The hostes was quoting 30 kin wait times when it was more like an hour. There is nothing worse than finding what you want on the menu and then having to wait on slow service.

Stopped in the other night to get food to go. The girl who was helping me was a bit lost, but it all turned out good in the end. I asked them to make me a meatloaf sandwich, which they used to have on the menu, but I was sad to see it was gone. However, after a little begging they were happy to make me one anyways, after all they still have meatloaf and they have bread, how hard could it have been. So I waited about 10 minutes, just long enough to have a glass of wine at the bar while I waited and picked up our food. The meatloaf sandwich was amazing btw. For what this place is, it has pretty good tasting food.

I came back with a buy one get one free coupon for $9. I Loved the pumpkin latte and pumpkin pancakes. Rich with pumpkin flavor -- perfect for the fall/winter season. The kids chocolate chip pancakes are adult portion-sized, so make sure you get a box to-go. My son loved his pancakes, and he's usually not a pancake fellow. The service is friendly and helpful and our server came around to check on us a few times. I think we should head to Mimi's for breakfast on future visits.

Ok Here's the spin on this fabulous restaurant. If you like New Orleans Jazz Motif accompanied by a wonderful breakfast then Mimi's is the only eating establishment to consider. The breakfast is quite a treat as everything is freshly cooked and the quality of the food is beyond excellent. The reason it's so crowded in the morning is of course because the fact that the food is so good otherwise you wouldn't have the crowds obviously. The wait service is outstanding and at Mimi's they're very accommodating. Here these people literally bend over backwards to accommodate their customers. I've been going there for the last five years and they've never missed a beat so to speak that is, to date. Anybody out there like pancakes? I for one do I and let me tell you Mimi's has the best pancakes I would say in the galaxy. No I'm not kidding they are light and fluffy and are to die for. Like champagne brunch? Well Mimi's going accommodate you. The waitstaff I should also add is very friendly and cheerful. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 the lowest and five the highest I give it a rating of 20. Want a great breakfast? Then go to Mimi's, you have to! Ken Malkin

My husband and I went there for lunch today. The hostess told us there was a 5-10 minute wait, which we were fine with. She handed us a pager and we went to wait outside the front door. We realized our wait was turning out to be much longer than we expected, and the pager never went off. Other parties waiting had the employees come out and call their names to be seated. When we brought this to the hostess' attention, she had us seated next, as our turn had already come up but we didn't know because the pager didn't work. The drink menu on the table was sticky. The food was pretty good. The service was sub-par, though. The waitress didn't come back to refill drinks until we were done with our meal and ready to ask for the check. When we were getting ready to leave, the manager was making the rounds asking how everything was. When we explained that we had some trouble getting seated, all he said, was, "Uh, yeah, sorry about that," then turned and walked off. He obviously didn't care. We will not be returning.

I came here on a recommendation, and I thought it might be fitting since it was really close to Mardi Gras. I probably won't consider Mimi's for a revisit. -First of all, the restaurant was hot, temperature wise. I don't think the air conditioner was working and it gets rather warm in Florida. -Second, I had bad service. I think our waitress forgot about us... she left us alone for about 25 minutes. I was more than a little miffed at that. -Third, my food was sub-par. My salmon was overcooked, the horseradish mayo blend on the potatoes coagulated from the warm temperature and clumped up. My bacon was soggy. I won't be coming back for a revisit, but I'm sure not everyone's experiences will be like mine.

Absolute worst service ever! Never even got to taste the food because got sick of waiting for our beverages, after 15 minutes we still had not recieved our drink order, and this was on a weekday brunch service. Waitress and hostess were both very unfriendly and we were seated next to menus?? Waitress kept grabbing and returning menus behind my head,.. Worst service ever, would never return even if the food were great.

This is definitely a "chick" place. I would look at it like a Paneras with a french flair. I had a french dip that was mediocre at best but my companions had muffins, salads, and soups that they really enjoyed. They would rate the food as very good to excellent. The service was lacking because our server was overbooked with patrons. We had to get drink refills and missing food items from roving managers.

I loathe chain restaurants. Seriously. There are too many places you can go and give money to and have a great meal. But Mimi's isn't so bad for a chain restaurant. I usually go here for breakfast or brunch type foods. I have had dinner here before and I wasn't terribly impressed but they do breakfast so well that I enjoy coming back. I always get the same thing - 4 cheese quiche. Its so yummy and too much to finish in one sitting. Plus they have the wine flights and I love I can have my wine flights on a weekday at 10 AM without judgement. Staff is friendly and quick with food. Muffins, breads, eggs, anything in the breakfast category is a hit here. I have even had large groups gather here a few times a month and they can accommodate us fairly easily with no hassle.

Friend of mine and his wife made reservations for me to meet them at Mimi's at Town Center as a birthday gift for breakfast. When we arrived they apparently had made reservations and someone else with the same last name took it obviously taking advantage of the situation when they came in and the person in charge was nieve and fell for it; so 1/2 hr. later we got a table. No wait staff appeared for 10 mins.; he told us his name and that he was new and might screw up; and guess what he did at least five times;plus had to wait 35 mins for our breakfast to boot. Food was just OK, not sure about price since I did not pay or see bill. My wife and I thanked our friend, but I would never go back there. 105 minutes to have a quick breakfast including eating it is not acceptable anywhere in America unless your in a nursing home.

We used to love this place, now it is under new management. They have changed the menu and not for the better. Not loving the new menu!! :( no more lamb shank, Jambalya, chicken fried steak, and they don't bring out the carrot raisin nut bread unless you ask for it!!! Not happy about the changes. The stuff I liked was taken off the menu so I decided to try the meatloaf it was all right but had bit too much kick/spice to it so I had to send it back. The manager said the chicken pot pie could be done quick so I said ok. I usually love their pot pie. She came right back two mins later with it and it was not good. Over cook, like it must have been sitting under the heat for a while. Not tasty! If someone sends food back they should damn well make sure that the food they are replacing it with is good!!

I stopped by this establishment this evening. I just got into Jacksonville and this was my first visit to Mimi's. I must say I was blown away. Other restaurants I passed by were packed and had a wait. Mimi's, however, had no wait. The food was out of this world. I had the Hibachi Salmon. Amazing flavor and a nice portion size for the price. And only $2 more to add a cup of soup; sign me up. My waiter, Chris was one of the best in the business. Very friendly and informative. A very warm and inviting smile made my visit that much more comfortable. Highly recommended.

What a shame ... I loved this place when I was up north. This one sadly has some issues. I believe it's management. First impression ... As I was walking up to the front door I noticed a flower pot full of sand used for an ashtray. It was full of butts and had 2 empty water bottles. It was 8 am so clearly these were from last night. The whole entrance area was very unkept and dirty, not a good first impression. Inside I had to wait for the hostess to finish her conversation was a waitress in the back, which appeared to be personal, but I really don't know. Anyway Service was slow and crepes were warm at best. Toast wasn't warm enough to melt the butter, (one good thing, the butter was soft not a little frozen rock like most places). The side of fruit was frozen and the grapes looked more like raisins. But the waitress was quick with the check. Brought it to me after 3 bites and said " when ever you're ready ". Clearly I wasn't ready.. So I waited until I was finished, put my card in the sleeve and BAM ! She was there.

I am new to the area. My first visit to Mimi's was a very nice experience and the food was great. I have since been back several times. The service, the food, and atmosphere were always consistent, great! I have on occasion ordered carry out, always consistent in service and food, great! I have tried quite a few items on menu and have always been happy with my choices. My only suggestion would be to greet patrons timely where the experience begins.

My boyfriend and I met a friend for breakfast this past Sunday and we decided on Mimi's since it was close to work (he had to work, we didn't). I've always enjoyed breakfast at Mimi's the few times I've been there. The waitress was great and made sure to check on us while we waited for him to show up. I ordered a Cafe Latte, which they make at the coffee bar. It is one of the best lattes I get whenever I'm at a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the Asparagus Florentine bowl off the Just Enough menu. It's not my cup of tea, but it looked delicious and he definitely didn't complain. While it may not save me any money, I have learned to order off the A La Carte menu to save pain in my stomach later from eating too much. I ordered the 'new' Blueberry stuffed French toast. I can't even describe how good it was. The blueberries and strawberries on top were so good when covered in the cream cheese filling that was oozing out from between the two pieces of blueberry toast. Oh yeah, there were two pieces of bacon too.

Okay, so normally I would never go to a restaurant like Mimi's, but I was up early for the REI Garage sale and I had to wait over an hour before my group could shop. Well, the only place that Yelp showed was good for breakfast and close by was Mimi's. I think a lot of other REI shoppers had the same idea, because one of the cooks was helping to seat people! I was a little scared by the decor. It seemed like it was trying to be a French brasserie at first, but then I was seated in what I assume is New Orleans decor. The menu had a good selection of omelets, waffles, muffins, and other breakfast items. I had to try the Croque Madam waffles, which was ham and swiss on two herb waffles with Mornay sauce, topped with fried eggs. I really, really enjoyed it, but then again I love waffles and I love croquet madams. I also had a bite of my fellow diners' potatoes and would definitely ask if I could have that instead of the fruit that came with my waffles. Service was good even on the busy morning. I also liked the fact that they served drinks in real glass, not plastic! Also they had a decent hot tea selection which was nice surprise. If I ever find myself in the St. Johns' Towncenter at breakfast time, I will definitely be back at Mimi's!

I was starving after a long flight, so I ate most of my meal. But I won't go back. Coffee tasted burnt and mug was dirty. Pancakes were weak and turkey sausage was nasty. The other two meals at our table, including a kids meal were very disappointing. But, they're always crowded because I guess people just don't care.

Mimi's cafe, I've been to one in practically every city where there is a Mimi's cafe. I am in love with their French Onion Soup! It's just great and cost effective. To me Mimi's won't break the wallet and delivers quality meal all around. Wether you want to come for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner there will always be different varieties of meals that will fit to your cravings. My main concern about this Mimi's is the service. Very slow, and distant. I've never encountered one waiter that will actually engage in a conversation or recommend to you what they like. It's more like: Take your orders, disappear, return with your order, refill drinks, and here comes the check...... I always feel that way here. Oh and the hostess..... Don't get me started. They need to be re-trained, that's the problem! However, I won't cut this place out as they still deliver great meals for those days you don't feel like going to the grocery store and cooking at home.

WARNING! Ownership of the chain has changed. Food is nowhere near as good, prices are higher, service is worse, and there aren't as many flavors of muffins. It was so bad that when we got home I Googled the chain and discovered the change in ownership. Such a shame. It once had great food. Now everyone in the family has agreed that we will NOT be going back!

My husband came here with some friends and their daughter for dinner. The service was fast and friendly and the food was actually pretty good! I thought the decor was nice and the whole dining experience was a nice break from all the fast food that is found in the south. I will definitely return.

I came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away, which, for a Sunday in The South, is excellent. That's really where the fun stopped. Service was okay, until my order came out wrong, and then the server became uber friendly and overly helpful. Then, when my order did arrive, it was just bland. I know that I ordered the healthy option, but it had no flavor. Mehhhh. I'd probably come back if I had to, or was with a big party and wanted something to please everyone, but it's definitely not my first pick.

Mi Mi's Cafe is one of those chain restaurants that are on top of my list when I want to go some place with decent food and decent pricing. I usually go there when I have a larger party that have a bit more diverse preference. The menu selection is pretty good, so it most likely has something for everyone. My favorite thing to order is their soup and salad combo. First of all, I am not really a salad person. But, the Mi Mi's cobb salad is pretty darn good. The lettuce is fresh and sliced thinly. The bacon, turkey, scallion, blue cheese, and avocado topping covers the whole top of the salad. Mixing them with a little bit of their asian sesame dressing, yum! Adding a cup of corn chowder and a muffin, it's a complete meal for me for less than $10. Actually it's more than a meal, since my husband and I usually share the muffin as dessert since it's so big. Their bread basket is pretty good too. Other than the soup/salad/muffin combo, everything else I've had at Mi Mi's were eh... just ok to me.... One of those non-wow'ing, safe bet restaurants in my book...

Been to Mimi's for lunch, and it was better, went tonight for dinner and let me let you know a few of the problems. If you see wait staff in the kitchen hanging around the grill, chatting with each other, turn around and walk out and take your $$$ to a place where the wait staff care. I had to often times go to the BAR to get service for cokes and water, because our staff person was probably at the North Pole for a place 1/3 full. The food, unless its a salad, is very suspect. I had salmon, the end piece, which in good restaurants is cut for salads, apparently the shaft kept coming after poor service. I had "steamed vegetables", a nice selection of 6 small pieces of vegetables. Pathetic. I've seen more vegetables in my fry sack at Chick-Fil-A. Our server probably had friends, at the mall, where she would have rather been, as she offered NO suggestions, no Specials, no deals, just handed us the menus and said, choose your "fate". I would say her name, but its a male name begins with D and ends with I, and she was just there to take up time. She had no desire to be there, other than to get back to the grill where she could discuss the latest bubble gum. Go somewhere else for dinner, you have many other choices at Town Center. Go to a "chain" that cares for you to be there.

I love Mimi's!! The only bad thing about this location is that there always seems to be a relatively long wait during peak eating times. I usually order some type of breakfast here, but Mimi's did have the most incredible (and HUGE) chicken pot pie! Ohhh my this was a chore to eat the whole thing, but you know you just can't doggie bag pot pie! Additionally, the Quiche Lorraine is absolutely delicious and if I am patient enough to sit through the wait time here, I always order one of the myriad of their delectable muffins! (My favorite being the super moist, carrot cake raisin nut loaf muffin!) Note: Sunday's after church lets out, the wait here is generally tortuous! Especially if you're hungry!

Large portions of good tasting food for a great price. Mostly Americana. Their muffins and breads are great. $13 for salad, meal, and dessert. EDIT: from 5 stars to 2. The last few times I have been there their portions have become smaller and smaller. I am a small person (5'2, 108 lbs) with a small appetite and even I have noticed a lack of satisfaction. Their food normally tastes awesome but has become somewhat bland. You're better off trying Maggianos, the Cheesecake Factory, or Bahama Breeze if you want a great meal.

lowgrade boxed food served by a chaotic, desperate wait staff. The greeter was slow as molasses and the food wasnt much better than you could get at an average joint. Its done up as a french bistro...what a JOKE. Overpriced, un quality, poorly staffed. In short it sucks.

This reminded me of an upscale Perkins. It wasnt terrible food and the service was fine, but those are the best things I can think of to say about it. If you like Perkins then you'll really like this, but it's not a foodie place at all.

This place was HORRIBLE! Do NOT GO THERE! Let's see, the "special of the day" was steak pot pie. I ordered it and the waitress came back to the table to inform me that it would take 20-25 minutes for them to prepare my dish because they did not have any prepare. Seriously? Your "special of the day" is not ready? Okay, fine. I will get the chicken pot pie. She comes back with all of our food and says I was in luck because they did have the steak pot pie ready after all. FANTASTIC! I began to dig in and what do I see, chicken. Okay, fine, no big deal until I began to eat the food. The chicken was pre-cooked flavorless chunks and there may have been 4 peas and 3 or 4 slivers of what resembled carrot and all if this was swimming in this over salted "sauce". The waitress was attentive and apologetic which his the only reason this place deserves one star. The restaurant gad a weird "old" smell which is weird because it's not that old. The bathroom was not clean the sinks were very dirty and one soap dispenser was empty. The tables and menus were dirty and sticky. The manager was loud and obnoxious spending most of his tine walking around two tables speaking very loudly and flirting with the women at one of the tables. It was a very unpleasant experience!!

A very pleasant lunchtime option in the St. Johns Town Center! We had lunch with friends visiting from out of town and their 2 month old daughter. Only one of us (my fiance) had been to Mimi's before. I checked out the menu while waiting for them to arrive. I must say that Mimi's was bustling at lunchtime. We had a 15 minute wait but the waiting area was spacious. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, small plates, salad, sandwiches, meat and pasta entrees. I decided on the Veggie Stack sandwich with fries. The sandwich was substantial and very tasty! The veggies were prepared very well. The fries were nice and crispy too. Now about the service. It was a little slow at first however, our server was extremely helpful and took good care of us. We did not feel rushed at all and they allowed us to enjoy a very nice leisurely lunch. Since it was the first time for most of us at Mimi's, they sent us home with fresh baked muffins (2 for each adult!). These muffins were gigantic. The flavors included a carrot raisin, banana nut, blueberry and bran. It was the perfect take home from a lovely lunch!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our way to do some shopping at the sprawling outdoor mall that backs up to this and other restaurants. Going in completely blind, we chose this place because it looked large enough to accommodate a bustling lunch crowd without a long wait (we were right, less than 10 minutes) and we liked the outside decor. It was very welcoming inside, with the waiting area complemented by comfortable seating. Our waiter was friendly and made a couple good recommendations, one of which I took. Before our meal even came we got a sampler of their bread, perfect to tide us over while we waited. The Quatre Formages Quiche is DELICIOUS and huge, not to mention it comes with a small green salad, fresh fruit and a large muffin; definitely worth $9. My boyfriend got the zesty BBQ burger, which also came with a large portion of fries and got rave reviews from him. On our receipt was the option to call and take a short survey, after which you could redeem two muffins to go, which we did, opting for the blueberry and spice. YUM! We will definitely return for a meal here, but probably try the awesome looking breakfast next time. :)

I have been here many times and I am not easy to please. Most of my visits have been for breakfast, but not since I tried the "French Quarter Burger"...one of the best burgers I have had...sourdough bread, avocado, Swiss, bacon! Delicioso! I have already come back a 2nd time just to have it.

This is a review of Mimi's online ordering service rather than dine-in. I have ordered online from Mimi's on six occasions. The food was great the first two times. The third time, the eggs I ordered were almost burnt. The fourth & fifth times were marvelous, but this past time was awful. There is ample opportunity to add special instructions to your order, and it seemed they didn't pay any attention to them. They left in what I told them to take out. I asked for a little extra of something- and I EVEN asked about it at pick up- they didn't put ANY on my dish. Each time I ordered, I found that the standard for order pick up time is thirty minutes, regardless of whether or not it's busy, if you ordered two scrambled eggs or if you ordered a burger. Well, thirty seems a bit long to scramble eggs, but I didn't mind. What bothered me is coming to pick the food up and finding that EVERY TIME they weren't finished! In fact, the first online order I placed with them was never filled. We got there for pick up and they informed us they never got it. They found it and we had to wait another 45 minutes for them to cook it. I also don't like their waste of bags and containers. I keep specifying what food to dump in the same containers (they place all side orders in separate containers) and in the same bags (since all the food is going to the same place). They keep ignoring my instructions, and I hate seeing all of those bags and plastic clams wasted. There's an option to pay online & for all of my orders except the last one, I've paid online. The only problem is, when i arrive, they always ask me to pay. Why can't they look for whether or not it was paid for online? It's a pet peeve, I know, but it just lets me know they're not paying attention. I've also found that a couple of the employees haven't even been shown how to look for and process online payment. All in all, I won't be dining with Mimi's anymore. The food is great when they give you what you asked for, but it's too much a hassle crossing your fingers for those few times when they manage to get it right.

This was a great girls night experience everyone was able to pick something delicious

(2)Carolyn M.
(1)Delinor S.
(4)Taisha B.
Had breakfast here this morning. Service was excellent my waitress was Shaniqua. Atmosphere was general nothing really special. I think it needs to be updated or carpets deep cleaned. ( dusty) Food was average. Served warm not hot. The best thing about our visit was really the service.
(2)Erika B.
(4)Itcher S.
(3)James R.
Breakfast is fantastic! Sausage is full of flavor and super moist. Coffee is excellent here. I'm headed back second weekend in a row. I only give four stars because their selections are limited. I.e. no nondairy milk or skim milk, we hit several dead ends. Meal was still with it though.
(4)Nunya N.
(2)Marie F.
(3)Ed M.
One of our favorite stops along the way from PA to Florida. While I have seen many long waits, not so on a Saturday afternoon. My favorite is the eggs Benedict and the muffins are amazing. Try the brie cheese sampler for a great start to the meal.
(4)A S.
The breakfast tacos were great! The potatoes were perfect! Great place for breakfast after work.
(4)Jeff W.
(4)Rob S.

(4)Kevin C.
Worst service I've seen. We waited for 3.5 hrs. And never were served the manager Rachel has no business being a manager. She was not prepared for the amount of people. It was graduation weekend and she had no clue. The waitress had a very poor attitude.
(1)Tedd S.
It's tough, going to work at what? 6a on a Sunday...still, Jaimie was professional, prompt and courteous...that's WAY more appreciated than the ho hum corned beef hash Benedict, just saying.
(3)Lori R.
(1)Emily T.

4 STARS.
(4)Jay C.
Breakfast is okay but over priced, service was a bit slow. Restaurant was clean And my server was friendly. The croissants were fresh and good.
(3)Anthony H.

(3)Kevin C.
(2)Nicholas K.
Great food and a friendly staff. Everything came out in a timely manner, and was plated well. Mimi's has a great atmosphere that's laid back and fun. We had brunch: strawberry créme waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon. It was delicious, however nothing that couldn't easily be made at home. Nevertheless, when you want a no-mess meal for a decent price, Mimi's is a good place to be! We'll be back.
(4)Carlos C.
(3)Josie C.
Food is mediocre... The rice pilaf was so mushy that I thought it was mash potatoes! Terrible! I had our server take it back to let the chef know. No apologies or maybe could have offered a discount for a futre dining...NONE.. Will not come back.
(1)Kim D.
(1)Amy S.
(3)Whitney L.
(1)Eldred M.
Paid too much for mediocre sandwich and soup. Their desserts are good, but only seem to come in small portions. The atmosphere is decent and I would go back in a group setting, but I'm not trying to go back anytime soon. I honestly only went because I had a buy 1 get 1 free entree.
(3)Adam L.
(1)Bob R.
I have eaten here a number of times and have yet been disappointed. The pot pie is the best in town and the muffins are amazing!!!
(4)John H.
Interior was loud and prices were high. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The basic breakfast items were $9 to $11 dollars and we thought it was too high for eggs and toast and bacon. Décor was new but not inviting and it was very loud.
(1)Chris W.
We love this place but the service is slow. The place wasnt busy we waited forever for our check had to ask up front for it. We won't be back until its fixed
(2)Joe M.
(3)Shannon M.
(1)Christina K.
(1)Harmony T.
(4)Pablo R.
(2)Vance D.
Always been a family favorite. I've never had anything here I didn't like. I think the appetizers are a bit chintzy, but entrées are generally very good.
(4)Jonathan M.
Food is great. I had corned beef hash Benedict. It tasted wonderful. Hostess service was slow and restaurant eating area was dusty and dirty. Wait staff Kat was nice and helpful.
(3)Maisha R.
(3)Cathleen S.
Everything was ok, except that we didn't receive our muffins that came with our meal, was so looking forward to enjoy the blueberry muffins
(3)Carey B.
(3)Veronica G.
It's was ok. I had the crepe Florentine. Again it was OK. I liked the decor, waitress was nice so over all I'll give it a four. A low four.
(4)Priscilla L.
It keeps going down hill Everytime I got there it gets worse and worse I am not longer eating at this place again I had pasta and the noddles was cold a clumped together There were BROKEN clam shells in it! My husband hAd a soup whose potatoes where under cooked and they said they surved it like that! The food took forever to come out The waiters suck she was rude short and never same around It took her 20 minutes to get bread.
(1)Gerrald L.
This place was quite good I thought it was a 5 star. The staff was very friendly and the Louisiana Style food was great
(5)MaryAnn J.
(3)Dimitry B.
Best breakfast ever! All the ingredients were fresh, the food was delicious. Must have the pumpkin muffin while they last. As first time guests we were welcomed to the Mimi's Cafe family by the GM. Absolutely amazing experience.
(5)Morgan H.
The food is good but for some reason I always leave there a little disappointed. I did enjoy the Cobb salad I ordered but I guess that I always expect a little more out of Mimi's than I think I get.
(3)Khristopher B.

French food is always something that I can enjoy, and is certainly one of my favourites. I usually end up searching for a place that can deliver authentic french cuisine that holds up to my standards. Mimi's Cafe is one of those rare venues. I arrived with my brother and sister and we were seated within about 8 minutes. our service took quite some time to get us our water and then took an equally long time to serve our entrees. I had the Grilled Chicken Crepes. The crepes were served with a small salad on the plate and a thick, creamy dressing. The crepes were cooked properly, but lacked flavour. The filling, however was on par with my expectations (which are rather high.) I would certainly recommend it. My brother had the Boullibaise, which is a sort of soup with potatoes, tomatoes, shrimp, mussels and scallops. He described it as "like savory tomato soup" with seafood, of course. My sister had the spinach and egg breakfast crepes (the idea of something with eggs automatically labelled as a "breakfast" dish is one I am opposed to, but is a topic to be addressed later.) She said that the Crepes suffered from similar issues to mine, as it was bland. Lastly, we had dessert (which was the high point of our visit.) We had the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake and the Strawberry Chocolate Mousse. The CBC successfully managed to merge the flavours of Creme Brulee and Cheesecake and the mousse was deliciously chocalatey and the sauce was well crafted and full of srawberryness. The mousse, however lacked fluffiness and was closer to warm ice cream. 3.4 stars

Ken Malkin

Very good breakfast! ! I had corned beef hash with eggs. All was delicious. Wife had the half sandwich with a salad that was very tasty.

(1)Scott Z.

(2)Renee G.
Not that impressed, had to stand at hostess stand and no one was there, my mother ordered a dirty martini wasn't even dirty, omg and the calamari circles were so perfect automatically I knew they were frozen won't be back at all

Hello Hello is anyone here? Weeknight 7:30PM only thing happening was 4-5 employees standing around in parking lot. Waited inside by reception area/bar gave up and went elsewhere to eat.
(1)Kelli P.
My husband came here with some friends and their daughter for dinner. The service was fast and friendly and the food was actually pretty good! I thought the decor was nice and the whole dining experience was a nice break from all the fast food that is found in the south. I will definitely return.
(4)Lindsay L.
(2)Suga S.
Great food .....great service!!! Thanks Joshua !!

My wife and I meet there for lunch regularly. We both love the Cobb Salad. Service is usually either very good or very bad (usually good).
(4)Kathy C.
(3)Jack B.
(2)Monica S.
(4)Michelle G.
(2)maz b.
lowgrade boxed food served by a chaotic, desperate wait staff. The greeter was slow as molasses and the food wasnt much better than you could get at an average joint. Its done up as a french bistro...what a JOKE. Overpriced, un quality, poorly staffed. In short it sucks.
(2)Olivia T.
This reminded me of an upscale Perkins. It wasnt terrible food and the service was fine, but those are the best things I can think of to say about it. If you like Perkins then you'll really like this, but it's not a foodie place at all.
(2)Erin K.
Quantity does not make up for quality. Food was passable. Service was okay, kitchen was slow. Not worth the long wait on Sundays.
(2)Cam L.
Great place, make sure to get an omelette! A little pricey and there can be a wait, but you'll be satisfied!
(4)Mike C.
Good food, good portions, good prices, good wait staff and good ambience = very nice dining experience. Food is an Americanised French Cafe style.
(4)Rana M.
(1)Ape B.
Service is horrible, food is over priced and bland. Had to wait an hour for a dried out $12 omelet?. Pretty much the waitress didn't place the plates on our table but threw them on our table.
(1)Steffanie R.
do not go here if you have celiacs or gluten intolerance
(1)Anthony G.
Very nice place. I got the Blackened Salmon that was very good, but it was far from "blackened". It barely looked grilled. Overall decent place, but I would not go out of my way to go there. If you live in Jacksonville give it a try.
(4)Stephen A.
After waiting for 30 minutes with a pregnant wife although they said 20, the hostess seats this couple right away because they knew the waitress. The place smelled anyways.
(1)Rhonda N.
This Mimi's was much better when they first opened. However, their Bread Pudding is worth 5 stars by itself if you can get it fresh out of the oven.
(3)Fadi A.
I would rather goto iHop then here. The service was poor and the omelette was not well made at all. This place is all about the looks not the taste
(2)Natalie B.
(4)Morgan M.
(5)Jeremy F.
Minis is always good for breakfast lunch or dinner. Can't go wrong. Wait times can be long at times.
(4)Jeff R.
