Ordered food to go. One of the items was an appetizer called 'Paneer Manchuria'. This restaurant has unfortunately joined the other Indian restaurants in Jax who send crap food thinking the order is to-go and would not be reviewed. I wish I could post a picture, I have taken a picture. The appetizer was sent in form of a curry. The curry was obviously frozen earlier. The 'paneer' pieces were not cooked in the curry. It tasted awful. This is assuming that this restaurant's version of the 'paneer manchuria' is in form of a curry as opposed to manchurian as an appetizer which is usually dry (no gravy). There were no instructions given in the order to make it with 'gravy'. Nevertheless, the paneer cubes were just added to the reheated frozen version of the curry, the color was a disgusting pinkish orange. Anyone who has eaten Indian version of the chinese food would know this was sadly a crappy appetizer. Sorry to be so harsh, but I find it very irritating when the to go order is delivered and I find out that my $8.99 spent on an appetizer went to waste. People know the taste and the consistency of the food you guys pretend to serve as Indian food, Jax Mint!

Great spices! Enjoyed their lunch buffet. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken. Garlic naan bread is fantastic. Tikka masala is great. Paneer is great for those who don't like it too spicy. Something for everyone. Great service and atmosphere. They didn't pay me to write this review, but they did fill my belly!

This restaurant is excellent. I'm hooked on all the fresh foods and excellent variety. This restaurant could certainly put every other Indian restaurant in Jacksonville out of business. Also the service is great and the restaurant is clean!,

I don't live in the Jacksonville area and don't know it very well. When I am in Jacksonville I normally go to an Indian restaurant down the road called Flavors but I wanted to try a different Indian restaurant a couple days ago so instead I came here. That was a BIG MISTAKE. I ordered two orders of chicken biriyani to go. The people working there were courteous and I was even given some complimentary chai. However, after I looked over my food once I got home I noticed that they contained hardly any chicken. Also, other than a few spices there wasn't anything else in the rice (no cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, bay leaves etc.) Overall it was a one dimensional, fairly bland, mediocre biriyani. I can't believe the proprietors of this restaurant could really be this cheap and have the audacity to charge $11 for this crap. I made a huge mistake by coming here and will never do so again. Do yourself a favor and just go to Flavors instead. They really know how to make Hyderbadi Biriyani and their biriyani is the best I ever had anywhere. They use Halal meat too.

Stopped in for lunch as I heard from co-workers that this restaurant serves some good food, and that the lunch buffet was great. They had some nice garlicky naan, a buttery naan, and something fluffy (looks like a pancake with the slight sour taste of yogurt or sour cream?) to compliment the selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees. I enjoyed the goat curry which was very meaty, the chicken curry which was very flavorful and had a slight kick to it, and my new favorite - a chili chicken which is basically battered and fried chicken tossed with onions and garnished with jalapenos. At buffets usually the spice is toned way down to cater to the lowest common denominator for people's tolerance for heat. In this case there were mild options, but the chili chicken had a nice amount of heat. If the lunch is this good, I can't wait until I get the family out here to try a dinner.

We went today as this place reopened recently with new owners. The Sunday lunch buffet ($9.99/person) was really good and offered some buffet items I don't normally see at India House or Masala (the other two I frequent in Jax). Since reopening they also got a soft serve ice cream machine serving "Kulfi"ice cream and mango sorbet. This place is worth checking out for sure!
