Best pizza with everything!! Always hot delivery, and faster than the pizza place across the street. Now that's awesome service.

Been great for more than a decade now in my life; still the best delivery in town; the name is well earned. The food has continued to be very solid in quality, if not improved over time, in my experience. Late night delivery is a bonus! (and please people, tip your delivery driver!! I delivered years ago elsewhere, and I cannot tell you how heartless the average customer can be ..not to mention it's a dangerous job in more ways than one would think - show some respect!)

Fast delivery, excellent prices and I was impressed with the pizza. The wings were a little underdone for me but a few minutes in the oven fixed that problem. I'd call back just to flirt with the delivery girl, but seriously five star is legit.

Fast delivery, awesome prices, and garlic rolls to kill for. I recommend the family special. Get pineapple and bacon. You won't regret it.

Piss poor delivery area. Wanted delivery to a hospital in Springfield, which according to manager is too far of a drive; however, we've had this same place deliver to another hospital that is in the same direction (simply a turn north as opposed to a turn south on 95) and is only 0.8 miles difference. "The owner even lives in Springfield and won't have us deliver to that area." Piss poor customer service in that respect and what a waste of potential for business.

Five Star is our go to pizza delivery. I really wish they would go ahead with online ordering for our location... and we would probably order here a lot more. Come on Five Star! Normally 30-45 mins, pizza is thin, greasy and pretty good! The pepperoni powerhouse is loaded with cheese and double pepperoni, so much that sometimes it will fall apart on you if you are trying to fold and eat. It's not my favorite pizza in the world, but a better option than you delivery chains, fo sho! Heats up well the next day and what you get for the price is truly amazing. I'd say 3.5 stars for the pies. Pizza rolls get 5 stars from me! We tend to get 2 orders... and I normally devour 2-3 of them before I even touch the pizza. (and sometimes won't even bother with the pizza.) Man, these things are good. For me, it's the dough they use.... tastes a little sweet, with just the right amount of filling. I've got this weird thing from ordering p-rolls and wings, where I'll dip them into the wing hot sauce and then in bleu cheese... weird, maybe? But I love it. Speaking of wings... so sad I had a really awful experience with the wings here. Sauce was good, but maybe they just weren't cooked well enough that night, skin was rubbery and super chewy... just ewa. I hope that was just "that one time" but they were so bad I can't bring myself to try again. (yet). I actually threw them away. (So sad.) All in all, we will keep eating and ordering from here! Pizza arrives fresh and hot... and find me in the corner with the pepperoni rolls. :)

We ordered a Pepperoni and Jalapeno pizza and it was amazing. Done right, when they said it would be done and when I arrived a bit early, they were nice enough to bring it out to me in my waiting car. great service, great product, a good fit for our neighborhood!

I'm visiting JAX and found 5 Star on yelp using the open now feature. Called at 1:45 am and they delivered a delicious pie in 20 minutes! Ps I'm kinda a pizza snob.

A $10.99 large cheese that tastes like it cost $12.99. One step above Sam's club. Huge, thin, and greasy with acidic sauce and an average to skimpy level of cheese.

Authentic NY style pizza! We are visiting from out of town and enjoyed our meat lovers pie with garlic knots. YUM YUM!! And bonus....late delivery and friendly service! what a great overall experience :)

Pretty good pizza but don't expect to get anything within 30 minutes of their close at 2am. They'll pickup the phone to tell you they're closed anytime after 1:30 and will argue that their computer says it's 2am so that are closed for the night.

I was a bit skeptical when I got a coupon for a free pizza with no strings attached. Turned out to be true! And even better the pizza was great! I am one of those weird people who dont like marinara on pizza and they have options. I could have alfredo, a butter sauce or ricotta cheese. I have tried the ricotta and butter, both being very good. Been back multiple times now!

I understand now why most of my friends and neighbors in Riverside and Murray Hill get their pizza from Five Star Pizza. They estimated 30-45 minutes delivery and it got here in about 27 minutes. The pizza was so hot and fresh, it literally just came out of the oven. The toppings were top quality and the cheese was real mozzarella, laid on thick. We took advantage of a special and had some hot chicken wings included. Weren't too spicy, but it was a nice heat and the crunchy garlic bits on the wings was awesome. The prices are less than the "big 3" and if you check online, they have some great specials listed. As for delivery, two of the big 3 (PH & D) do NOT deliver to my section of Riverside, so the fact that Five Star is willing to go even further - to downtown Jax - is a definite plus. Overall, I am very pleased with Five Star and plan on ordering again.

DO NOT ORDER THE WHITE PIZZA!! It's disgusting. 2 stars only because the pepperoni rolls were really great. Chicken wings sucked too

My husband and I lived on Five Star pizza for the first 3 months of our daughter's life. We always order the same boring stuff, but it's consistently tasty, the service is fast and very friendly, and the garlic roll things will knock you in your ass with their deliciousness. Best of all: cheap!

These guys are super fast! Our food is always hot and fresh when it gets here, clearly right out of the oven. The prices are great and they have a lot of good specials, not to mention the smallest delivery charge around. I live smack between Five Star and Hungry Howies, but lately Five Star has been getting our business more.

  • Jennifer P.

The pizza is decent but the thing that I dislike is the hidden ILLEGAL charge for those paying by credit. This establishment charges an additional $.50 to your order when you pay by credit. NO WHERE IS THIS ADVERTISED. Charging a few to pay by credit not only violates their Visa Merchant agreement it also violates Florida Law. Statute 501.0117 Check here if you have any doubts flsenate.gov/STATUTES/in… I know the State Attorney's office is aware and has sent them notification to stop, but still they impose this fee. They are so sneaky that unless you calculate your bill yourself, you probably won't even notice it. I actually had to ask why there was such a discrepancy. The staff is aware of the fee but only mentions it if you ask... My problem is I like the pizza here. I do continue to order from them, but now I just pay by cash.

This placed saved my butt!!! Shacked up in my buddies apartment without access to food. Who is still delivering at 11pm!!! Five Star Pizza to the rescue! Not a lot of delivery options in J-ville after 11pm. This place has delivery on most days til 12 am and on Fri and Saturday till 2am. The guy on the phone was very nice and didn't seem in the least bit stoned at all. He assured me my pizza and salad would be there 23 minutes. My pizza pie arrived in 20 minutes right to my door on the 18th floor! Wow! Here I thought dinner would be thawing out a frozen Lunchables box I found in the back of the freezer! For delivery pizza, it is pretty standard but so much more appreciated due to the circumstances and service they get an extra star!

The pizza at Five Star is as good as any other place in Jacksonville. I've ordered from them a few times and the person taking orders over the phone is always really courteous. The last time I called, I was informed that they have a new owner, but they were still going to allow me to use their old coupons (sweet). I'm not sure if they still charge extra for credit card purchases because I've always paid cash. Plus, with new ownership, maybe they have changed that policy. The pizza is pretty good. Nice amount of toppings (way more than any chain place and some of the other local places) and the sauce is decent. The thing I like the most is that when I request that they leave my pizza in a little longer to make the cheese brown on top, they actually do it. Also, the place is open till a reasonable hour (midnight) which is more than I can say for most other places in the area. This place is now my go-to pizza delivery joint.

I talked to a girl on the phone two minutes ago who stated Five Star does not deliver to any house in Springfield. However, they will deliver to Shantytown because there are "always people around, so it's safe." Wow. Really? How ignorant can this business be? I guess Five Star racially and socioeconomically profiles streets now, and somehow a bar three blocks from my well-appointed home makes the cut. Hmmm...I'm sorry, Riverside and Murray Hill are similar historical neighborhoods with just as many "issues" per se, yet Five Star delivers to both places. You guys should support the professional folks that live downtown, and perhaps spend some time here. Your current practices do nothing but reiterate unrealistic stereotypes and suppress the urban core. Shame on you.
