I love their healthy options and variety of menu items. However, the dry bread isn't a good complement to the tasty meats they put in the sliders. Their biscotti gelato is DELISH, so you must try some! A mini-cone (it was only 99 Cents!) is enough to get a taste of that goodness. I love coming here for their trio meals. 3 healthy options for a great price -- pick 3 from these: soup, salad, slider, or flatbread. They also have a duo option. Their selection of soups is pretty good, but my favorite is definitely their butternut squash. Their chicken noodle soup is just OK. I love their flatbreads, and their polynesian stack is absolutely delicious and fresh. For drinks, choose from the regular soda options or opt for a shake, smoothie or coffee drink.

I never think about going to Crispers, but joined some friends for lunch recently and was impressed. The "super foods" salad was really super. Packed with really great flavors and served fast and fresh. The salads seemed to be the favorites of everyone and I will definitely order the same thing again. The flatbreads are tasty but overall I am not the biggest fan of flatbreads in general. The service was excellent, even offering to remake meals because another person at our table accidentally started eating the wrong dish, and a different person confessed they did not like onions when they got their salad. It was not even their mistake so the customer service was exceptional.

Stopped in for lunch. Never been before got the Asiago sandwich with a side salad. Portions were perfect in my opinion everything seemed really fresh and tasted good. Did seem a little expensive but don't mind when your getting good quality food. Wife got the chicken ceaser wrap. Stated it was a little dry like maybe needed a little more dressing but when your trying to healthy less dressing is better. Other then that the place wasn't very busy. The service was quick and the employees were friendly and funny. Will definitely be an option anytime i am at the town center

The bistro vegetable sandwich feature ingredient is portobello mushroom but the half sandwiches had three fingernail size pieces.

Small portions -- overpriced. OK food, but not really worth the stop. Panera is better.

Not many people working for a Sunday, as a result, waited in line for way too long. Everyone working here looks like they hate their lives. Booths were filled with crumbs. Food was ok, but for the price, you'd think they would serve your side of chips without the bag.

Good, quick lunch stop if you're shopping at the town center. I appreciate the "half" size dishes for those of us watching our figures. I had the half Asian salad & really enjoyed it. It had chicken, lo mein, sesame seeds, almonds, etc, with a peanut dressing. Very fresh & light. Would return.

Food wasn't bad, the place though was a bit disorganized. They had no menu posted on the walls like you might expect, instead they had old paper menus which you had to ask for. The food was about like a Panera, it was actually decent if you are looking for a quick lunch. I did notice the staff was friendly enough, but they all looked pretty unhappy to be at work. I would imagine this is caused by the management, or they are forced to work as prisoners or something. They all just moved slow with a sad look on their faces.

This is where my boyfriend and I used to work (and where we met), and I love it. Great food and very fresh. Just avoid when busy

The sandwich and salad combo was delicious, but the price is high relative to the portion size. Used to enjoy Crispers more, but the ripped seats and bitter tea make me think corporate has taken their eye off the ball.

Looking for a healthy alternative to your normal fast food spots? Look no further than Crispers. With a variety of fresh hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads and flat breads your bound to find a favorite entree. But the best thing about these restaurants has got to be their customer service. From check out to table service, they go out of their way to ensure their customers are taken care of. My family loves Crispers!

I love Crispers! Been going here for years, and it never disappoints. It's where I go when I want a soup/sandwich option, but I want more variety than what Panera offers (nothing against Panera, I like them too once in a while). Crispers has a "pick a pair" option where you can get soup, salad or half a sandwich (pick two, obviously). The sandwich I get varies, I love both the Asiago beef and the Crispers Club. But I ALWAYS get the Kickin' Crab Chowder. If they would sell it to me in a bucket, I would take it. It's so good. As the name implies, it's a nice, thick crab and corn chowder with a little bit of spiciness. As others have mentioned, it is a little more expensive, but the quality and variety of the food is worth it. Lunch does get crowded, but dinner time, even on a Saturday, is pretty uncrowded. Saturday nights kids eat free, and there's a little bit more of a crowd for that. But the last time I was there on Saturday night, the place was still only half full.

I like coming here for lunch if I'm at the town center. I love the Thai flat bread pizza.

This is a place for soups and salads. It looks like they tried to get a little creative with their menu and add items such as the Pot Roast Gravy Baked Potato. I tried it....fail. It was pretty bad. Definitely not something I'd ever get again. For fast casual, the food took way too long. There wasn't even anyone else there, yet we were waiting on our food for about 15 minutes before we went and got it ourselves from the counter. Honestly, there are definitely better places to eat at St. Johns Town Center, but if you're really craving a soup and salad combo, this is your spot.

Their food is fresh and tasty. The menu reached out to most everyone, and the service is great here. It gets crowded during the lunch hours, but this place is amazingly worth it. The quantity of food offsets the cost. The salads and sandwiches are amazing! Sometimes accidents happen. A few months back, there was a piece of toothpick in the salad. I reported it (nicely) and spoke with a manager who apologized profusely and offered the table something in exchange for the salad. Point: This restaurant takes customer service and food quality seriously. They were eager to solve the problem and hoped it would not hinder my dining experience with them. It has not. Crispers is great.

Always loved Crispers but had recently had AWFUL service there however, after complaining, they sent me a $25 gift card...at least the business cares about its customers even when some of the employees do not.

This place is in the St. Johns Town Center area. Tons of shopping to do after having a nice light meal. They have other locations as well. Taking a quote from Daisy D. - "This is that type of place that falls between table service and fast food. You order at the counter, but get served at the table. Your order is made fresh, but it's delivered pretty fast." I always get their 1/2 sandwich and side salad deal which is just enough for me. The Asiago beef sandwich with chicken pecan side salad give you the best value and is quite tasty. The other great value would be the Signature steak sandwich with any side salad. A great place for lunch if you are in the mood for salads, soups and sandwiches.

Good food, but high prices given the format (order at counter, deliver to table). A very small cup of soup with a single package of Saltines for $5+, order taken by a borderline verbal worker (pushed menu at me) with minimal courtesy. I'm over this place.

When this Crispers first opened, the food was fantastic, but it has steadily declined. Every time I go I am disappointed. My flatbread is always soggy, not crispy like it should be. I try different sandwiches and something is always just off about them. The kids menu is great and the prices are nice, but I need to set my expectations lower. They do have a variety of sandwiches, salads, potatoes and soups. It is always very busy at lunchtime, and seating is first-come, first serve.

Excellent soups, salads, and sandwiches. The prices are higher, but it is justified in the quality of the food. The floors were a bit dirty and not swept when we went, however. They could better bus the tables. My wife said that when you enter in, they should have more descriptive signage that goes along with each menu option.

Ate here twice for lunch and I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a great healthy option to a fast food restaurant and I would definitely go back. During both of my visits, I had a salad. The first was the Duck Mango salad, which was magnificent. The duck was tender and not at all greasy. Personally, I would have seasoned it more but that is a matter of preference. Slices of juicy mango were placed beneath the duck, followed by small apple and strawberry slices. This sat atop fresh mixed baby greens. The entree came with salad dressing on the side but I never used it. The second visit, I had the Crab Stack Salad. IT was good, but the crab had a tin-can taste. It was not unexpected since something with fresh crab would have cost much more. Both times I went, I ordered a fountain drink and both times the bill was around $10.50. I didn't think the price was too bad considering what I ordered. If I wanted a $5 salad, I would have gone to Wendy's. I prefer to have something tasty and different so the price didn't bother me. Both visits I followed lunch with a 99 scoop of Gelatto. I prefer the Chocolate over the Tahitian Vanilla, but I always chose chocolate over everything. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant appeared clean and parking was adequate. When I first heard the name, I expected it to be a fried chicken restaurant. So much for stereotyping!

Good lord, talk about a bad dining experience. I'm trying to shy away from reviewing stuff from chain restaurants but this visit to Crispers was just horrible I had to tell someone. As a fat guy who eats an occasional salad, I felt it was my duty to let others know. No, I have eaten here before and while it wasn't bad then, this one was just bad. Can I say bad that many more times in this review? Check out my video and pictures of the restaurant at jaxfoodcritic.com he wife ordered the "Pick A Pair" for $8.99 and went with the Tomato Bisque Soup and the Southwest Salad with Jalapeno Ranch Dressing. Usually this soup comes with croutons on it but for some reason they didn't this time, just a couple lonely packs of crackers on the side. The soup was decent. It was thick and had a rich taste. The salad is her favorite here, she loves it. It has some crunch to it and the jalapeno ranch has a nice kick to it. I don't comment too much on her food since I usually don't eat off her plate. On to my food! I went with the "Trio" where you pick three items and get smaller portion sizes. I wanted to sample a few things, not something I normally order here, so I went with the Loaded Potato, the Caesar Side Salad and the Steak and Bleu Flatbread all for $7.99. I also ordered a small drink for $2.09. When the food arrived at our table, yes, it's one of the places where you order at the counter and sit down and they bring your food when it's ready. Someone blasted me for having people "serve" me on my review of Pollo Tropical. They thought I was lazy. They didn't know that it is the way they do it there. That's what I'm here for, to educate! Right? Nah, it's really for me to vent or praise for good food. Anyways, so the food shows up and right away I can tell my order is wrong. The salad and the potato are right but then there is some type of lettuce cup with chicken in it. I let the server know that I ordered the Steak and Bleu Flatbread and showed him the receipt. He goes back to fix it and come back with another lettuce cup with Steak and Bleu in it, but no Flatbread. Yeah, good job. At that point I just wanted to eat and not have them spit in my food so I just accepted it. The caesar salad was good, nice crisp lettuce and the dressing wasn't too tart. That was the highlight. Next came the potato. If you look at the picture of it, you can see that it was so cold that it couldn't even melt the butter. Who loves cold potatoes? Not this guy. Moving on...after the potato I started on the Steak and Bleu lettuce cup. Can you see the picture? It looks nasty, but didn't taste too bad. It's just weird in a lettuce cup. When it's on a flat bread and then toasted, it's much better. I barely ate anything but the caesar salad. I just wanted to be done with the whole dining experience. Extra Info: Is it a Crispers requirement that the workers all act like punks? The guy taking our order seemed bothered that we wanted to order food (the place was empty at 7pm) and when I went and asked for a couple knives, the girl behind the counter seemed stumped that anyone would want a knife and gave me a weird look like I was crazy. I sure seemed to be bothering them by ordering and asking for eating utensils. The Good -Free wifi -Tons of room to set up a computer and eat -Always clean The Bad -Service with an attitude -Wrong food served -Place was empty, giving it a weird feeling.

I have down graded a star b/c I think their salad portions are getting smaller. Plus, I had a hair in my salad last time. No bueno

When this place first opened, my wife and I ate here frequently. The service used to be really good. I don't know what's changed, but lately, their service has declined drastically. I've had to remind them twice to apply the kids' meal discount(despite showing them the kids club shirt). On both of our past visits, they've forgotten something, and had to be reminded to deliver what was paid for. It won't be soon that we return.
