Can Always count on CB for a good meal at a reasonable price. They've always been consistent & have the best deal on Ribeyes hands down. Specific ratings: The Service was 4-4.5 (always greeted quickly and good wait staff), Facility 5 (immaculately kept and decorated), Food 4-4.5 (good on taste; portions are ok), Price/cost 3.5-4 (comparatively priced with competitors). Summary: Definitely recommended.

I am now vowing to stay away from this chain on weekends. Just to crazy and very noisy, plus all the good specials are Monday-Thursdays. This is the only serious exit on the north end of Jacksonville for food and everyone else knows this. Next exits are 50 minutes south of JAX.

I must go to Cracker Barrel once a year and it's because I forget why I don't go. The service is great but the food is mediocre.

Great environment to a have a family meal. The wait was 15 minutes. We sat in the rocking chairs out in front of the restaurant. We were seated promptly once our name was called for our table. The wait for our food was around 15-20 minutes. The food was well cooked and well presented. It tasted great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that we found a hair in my wife's grits. The waitress quickly replaced it with a new one and offered her apologies.

Nothing special. It's expensive compared to other great breakfast restaurants that I know. Furthermore the portions are not generous.

After a day of driving, we wanted a relaxed dinner. We had some trouble finding the place from i-95, and getting in and out of the parking lot was confusing. There was plenty of parking spaces available for cars and even a space for larger vehicles such as campers and trucks. I chose a pork chop, hash-brown casserole and fried okra for my meal. I was well pleased with it all - things were tasty and well prepared, not too greasy as is sometimes the case. My husband ordered chicken-fried steak, but they were out of it. As an alternative, he ordered roast beef with mashed potatoes and corn. He was satisfied with it, but did not rave about it. The food was delivered quickly after the order was placed. I love the atmosphere of all Cracker Barrel Restaurants with antiques and memorabilia hanging everywhere in the dining area. It is enjoyable to have easy conversation about the different things hanging about. It was good food at a reasonable price, with quick and friendly service. I am a fan of this chain restaurant.

Cracker Barrel, so convenient, located everywhere. While I'm not a big fan of their other foods, for lunch or dinner, they absolutely are top tier for variety for breakfast. Many combinations of plates, with rustic country names, no matter your breakfast choice. Think eggs any style, 1, 2, 3, maybe 4? Steak & eggs, hamburger & eggs, chicken & eggs, or fish & eggs. Chicken biscuit? Sawmill gravy which is a bit bland, very nice French toast, with either maple syrup or many options of fruit toppings. Pancakes, crepes, hash brown casserole, very decent biscuits, smoked sausage, sausage links, maple cured bacon, ham several ways, turkey sausage (links or patties), turkey bacon, grits, cheese grits, oatmeal, house made granola & much more. Great little country store at most locations. You can even buy rocking chairs in your choice of finish, & Cracker Barrel is known for their large checkers sets you can play while waiting for breakfast.

Great as usual, they do a great job with consistency. Had the sunrise sampler, not bad and more than enough food. The cheese hash browns were the bomb!

Good Cracker Barrel but a little difficult to get to from I-95 surprisingly difficult to get to from I-95. You will spend more time maneuvering through the parking lots and side streets to arrive and the same way to get back on the highway as it will take you to eat. My GPS got confused and since it apparent that the zoning laws prevent them from having their normal 1,000 foot sign to mark the location good luck. I will drive a little further down the road to get to the next one next time. Beside all of that the food was excellent as well as the service Sean provided he seemed to be the most motivated part of the staff. You definitely want to sit in his section. The cashier also had difficulty handling cash she was ridiculous.

This was a nice meal. The wait wasn't very long for a Sunday. The store part had its usual selection of stuff I do not need. I do love the old school candy. My breakfast fast (Mama's French Toast meal) was very good. Lots of food cooked fresh. Our server was a "Rising Star", and he was very good and attentive.

Yum! Great spot for breakfast at any time. My hubs loves breakfast on the weekend but sometimes I just want lunch! I ordered the special...chicken and rice. It was great. The rice was a type of wild rice and it came with gravy. I got hash brown casserole (a must for me) and limas but I didn't care for them. They were a tad but over cooked and under seasoned for my taste. My husband had pancakes which are always great. And those biscuits...mmmmm. We had an awesome server! I think his name was Ian or Ivan...loved him!!!! The only thing is that it is always loud and I don't like how small the tables are :( I also don't like my food to touch and they put the runny stuff on the plate together which grosses me out!!!!

Ok once again the food here is great. My biggest problem with this place is the size of the tables and those horrible chairs. I think it's way to crowded in the place. I had the chicken fried steak and again it did not disappoint. Don't go on Sunday but do go. Yes and this is the best darn lemonade in jacksonville.

Always a good experience. We came after church and even though there was a line of people sitting the rocking chairs it didn't take long for us to be seated. The menu is extensive but our server knew all the side dishes. Delicious food. My only complaint would be the tables are small for a party of 4 and not a fan of everything coming in separate bowls.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a vacation in Hilton Head Island, SC. After a week of eating half amazing food and half horrible over priced tourist food, I wanted something moderate and consistent. That is exactly what I got with Cracker Barrel. Service was with a smile. I ordered their dinner plate special: pick a main dish + 2 sides + choice of bread for $7.69. I chose the Fried Catfish Filet, Cucumber Tomato & Onion Salad, pinto beans and buttermilk biscuit. The catfish was fried to perfection and not greasy or oily at all. Just a dab of tartar sauce to offset the acidity perfectly. The pinto beans were warm and melted in my mouth with chunks of ham. The Cucumber Tomato & Onion salad was bright, fresh and crisp. The buttermilk biscuit was warm and fluffy. My husband had the eggs in a basket and loved it all as well. This was a great change of pace from being on the road and having a week of up and down food quality. This particular location is clean and efficient. Great option on I-95.

You would expect a southern chain to be able to cook a few classic southern dishes right but you would be wrong. The meat loaf was bland and looked terrible, the greens were right out of a can, Apple wood smoked BBQ chicken was desert sweet and even the sweet potato was a loss because of the huge black cooked rot spot in it. This is southern cooking from a home where no one knows how to cook.

Decent tasting and cheap food. No complaints from me. Just nothing special. The decor is nice too. I like looking at all the vintage items they have. Not sure what else you need to know that hasn't already been said.

I would not recommend eating at this CB. After eating here I got very sick. Possible food poisoning. I have gone to CB across the east coast and this is the first time this has happened. I recommend finding another place to eat in this area.

Soooooo... im not sure if i am a CB fan. The atmosphere is cool and the country store is pretty interesting but the food, service and overall cleanliness of the place dissapointed me. The good part about this place is they give you massive amounts of food for cheap. This place reminds me of a less expensive and less tasty claim jumper. I got a county fried steak that came with 3 sides and 2 biscuits all for $9. I dont even think you could get that mucj food at Dennys for that price. Anyway, they offer a warm home type of feel which is pleasant to dine in once in a while. The biscuits were amazing. They were soft, fluffy, and overall perfect. The frozen mug apple cider was delish not too sweet and not to boring of a flavor The bad part about this is our food was cold. When i say cold im talking crust over the gravy cold. I had ordered fries, mac n cheese, and fried okra. The fries were undercooked and not good. The mac n cheese would have been good if they were actually warm and not borderline frozen. I dont even want to talk about the fried okra it just makes me sad. I thought the whole point of fried okra was to have it fried not half cooked and thrown on a plate... GROSS!! The taste of the meat wasnt mad but hard to really tell since it was so rubbery and the gravy on top had a thick crust yuck. That turned me off. I basically didnt eat very much. I was too turned off by how my food arrived. I feel like our waitress was scatter brained she kept forgetting to bring our table condiments or she would bring is the wrong food. I overherd the guy at the table next to us complain that he didnt order the meal he recieved. The biggest issue was our table was dirty. You couldnt see the dirt but if the napkins stick to the table there is a problem. Im not sure if i came here on an off day for CB but i dont really want to come back. Im really dissapointed but it was cheap. Sorry CB 1 star.

Disappointed that you can't get plain oatmeal, eat it their way or no way. So I choose no way so now we know not to go back.

Having traveled throughout Florida and Southern GA, I've gone through the menu at CB and know it very well. I love the people who work in Cracker Barrels, the service is great all the time. Unfortunately the food is so so. The food is bland all the way around, grits are pretty generic, vegetables are bland and overcooked. I've had better country fried steak, better meat loaf, better chicken, better breakfasts in other smaller restaurants. And honestly, Waffle House has better down home country food and if I had the choice would go there. I give CBs another star for the ambience, it's got that really cool country store setting with kitschy stuff. If you like food that is not spicy this is the restaurant for you.

Yum, yum, yum!!! Can't complain as we are fans of Cracker Barrel! This time we had chicken and dumplins, fried chicken, chicken fried chicken and it was so worth the 15 minute wait for our party of 4. Service is always excellent, even with a very crowded and busy restaurant. Its as good as it gets!

Always a great place to get a good "countryfied" meal. Chicken and dumplings, country fried steak, meatloaf...it's all great at Cracker Barrel. Today I tried something new, the Friday Fish Fry. Again, I was not disappointed. The best thing about Cracker Barrel is when you are traveling you can easily find one near the interstate and you can rest assured that the quality will be consistent from location to location, and the food is always great.

When you walk into a Cracker Barrel, for better or worse, you know what you're going to get. This location is not significantly better or worse than any other CB I've visited. If I could award another half star, I would.

I've been to a NJ location and so I was happy when the BF said we were going here for lunch. This place wins for service alone... if you have a choice, ask for Chloe to be your server! I really like the biscuits and gravy (Although the bf thinks that they gravy is too bland). The pancakes are yum and the grits are okay. Also - my fave part is playing the peg jump game while waiting =).

Went last week for a country style dinner. My son loves to have breakfast here no matter what time of day. Our food was just as expected tasty and good. Our waitress was prompt and professional. The store was just as nice to browse around as usual. It's nice to know exactly what to expect at CBs all over the south.

I've been coming to Cracker Barrel since I was a child and I've always been a fan! Despite it being really crowded most of the time, it's so great, definitely that classic country feel. The food is so good, I crave it sometimes!

The food is ok at this location (river city) but don't order the fish unless you want sushi.

First visit for the family and I. We waited almost 20 minutes before somebody came to take our order. We ordered raspberry lemonade which was by far the best lemonade I've ever tasted! Then I ordered the chicken fried chicken, having dumplings, green beans, and turnip greens as my 3 vegetable sides. Everything was excellent. There buttermilk biscuits were also EXCELLENT! Since we moved here my wife and I were curious as to what this place has to offer. Not only is this a restaurant, but there's a author you have to pass through to get to the restaurant. That was a first for us. They had plenty of knick knacks and things like that. Overall a very pleasant experience. The wife and I agreed that we're going to try the Cracker Barrel closer to us. I hope the experience there will be the same if not better than here. As usual, I'll keep you guys posted.

This cracker barrel has the best staff and great food. I have yet to find a CB that wasn't great.

I love Cracker Barrel, but at this location, the wait is far too long and food too inconsistent. As an example, this most recent visit on yesterday morning began by my daughter, my grand son and I being seated only to go ten minutes without being greeted by any of the wait staff. I finally sought help at the kitchen and it still took almost a good 45 minutes from the time we ordered until our food arrived and even then some of the sides were missing. I also had country ham as an item with my meal and for 5 out of the last 6 times I have ordered country ham at this location...the ham was so tough you could have re-soled a shoe with it....and...it didn't matter which part of the piece I cut a bite from...they adjusted our bill by giving us our drinks...I had coffee, my daughter had water, and my grandson (3 years old) had sweet tea. (big deal) By the way, this location has a tendency to seat folks with kids or seat younger patrons, back in the area closest to the highway next to it. Every time I have been seated there, the experience and usually the service, is worse than ever. Also might add that even with that wait, no biscuits or any such thing were served to us to offset the incredibly long wait...pretty sure this was my last visit and regrettably so as it is near my home and were it decent, it would be great for various meetings and functions involving the Church I pastor and folks who attend.

Stopped here on my way to the airport for a quick lunch. My husband and I both ordered the Po'Boy sandwiches and loved every bite. It's not too spicy, had plenty of hot shrimp, and came on a soft cheesy bread. It came with Cole slaw and steak fries and everything tasted fresh, including the peach tea. Very good experience...
