GOING DOWN HILL I have always liked Cracker Barrel but the last 3 or 4 times that I have order a to go order (this goes against everything I believe ) the quality of the food has been on the border of being in eatable! The last time the mashed potatoes was so runny you.could drink them though a straw and this time they were so thick you could not eat them the only thing thicker than the potatoes was the pinto beans, I couldn't fling them off my fork. My daughter wanted fried fish but the person taking the order repeatedly saying grilled fish and we said no fried ( I know fried sounds alot like grilled) we had to repeat ourselves 5 times, and yes your right we received grilled. We caught the mistake at the counter and sent the order back and when we received the bag back with a all of our orders back guess what no fried or grilled fish. PLEASE if you want good food from this Cracker Barrel eat in do not call in an order.

Went here after church last Sunday around afternoon, and oh boy it was packed, but we got seated quickly. Thing was my second time at Cracker Barrel. I had the country fried steak, I wish they put more gravy on my steak lol. Everything was good, service was slow but it was busy so I understand. Overall, I can't wait to come back.

I love Cracker Barrel, however, this location was horrible. I had 4 different things wrong with my order! Craziness! I won't return for that kind of service.

I just love me some Cracker Barrel. It brings out the eight year old little southern girl on a road trip with the family in me. Are we there yet??? Meaning, have we gotten to a Cracker Barrel where I can get me some Chicken Fried Chicken?! When this location opened nowhere near an Interstate, yet right in the heart of my old neighborhood, I was thrilled! Suddenly, road trip nostalgia in my every day life! Cracker Barrel is a staple of the American South. At the entrance of every restaurant is a huge [HUGE] store with all kinds of kitschy goodness [nature cd's, Americana home decor, birth year birthday books, toys toys toys, dress up clothes, any type of candy you can imagine, quilts...]. I mean, this place has it all! Oh, you can even buy one of the rocking chairs on the "front porch" if you want to! [I love those chairs.] Once you get seated you will be surrounded by old Americana memorabilia, stone floors, wooden walls, and a HUGE fireplace with tables of checkers set up and waiting to be played. There are also games at the tables, like the ever so famous [and challenging] Peg Game. I have been declared an "ignoramus" more times that I would care to mention. The food is full on southern fare. They serve breakfast all day and night, but their lunch/dinner menus are delicious too. You don't go here for light dining, but they do have low-cal menu offerings for those so inclined! I, for one, take my rare visits to this glorious place as a chance to indulge and chow down on some fried chicken or pancakes. Yum. If you pass one of these amazing places on a road trip, I recommend you take a little break and enjoy yourself some Cracker Barrel. You will leave full, with plenty of goodies, and a newly acquired southern accent. Win!

I have a soft spot for Cracker Barrel- I went here as a kid and it is a southern staple. I love going through the store and seeing all the funny and unique items they have. Their breakfast is delicious, it's not the best I have ever had but the ambiance makes up for it. As a kid, I would always order the chicken and biscuits. Now that I try to watch what I eat, I order off the "light" menu- yes they have one! You have to play the tee game at each table and rock in the rocking chairs outside. Although- Cracker Barrel, can you move the trash can for cigarettes to a different area? We got a huge whiff of smoke when we were enjoying the pleasant rocking chairs and had to leave after that! No one likes smoke in their face!

From 2 to 10 guests, we have never had a hard time being seated in a timely fashion. Usually no more than a 15 minute wait we always get seated. They are great to accommodate for large families/parties, we never have to wonder if they can make it work. Their food is always cooked to perfection and I've never had a complaint about any of then things I've ordered. Their strawberry lemonade is to LIVE for! just so refreshing with the just right amount of sweet. My particular favorite is their sausage gravy and biscuits. Dense biscuits with a side of gravy for dipping or pouring. Whichever tickles your fancy. I usually get the Sampler that comes with a little bit of everything. Trust me, it's always too much food! But so worth it because you get a little of everything without having to order stuff in the side. I normally share with my kids or fiancé when I get it. The children's menu is pretty awesome. My kids don't lack anything that we can get but they get it in smaller portions. My youngest loves their parfait and if you don't finish it they'll get you a cup. Be forewarned, this place does get packed. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait for food, especially if you have a large party. They try to get all the good out to the table together and not in waves, even though sometimes that is what happens. Overall, my experience with Cracker Barrel has always been top notch and it's a great place to bring family for a good wholesome meal in a family-oriented setting. Their gift shop is always a pleasure to browse through. Lots of little knick knacks and baubles to buy. They have the cutest little baby clothes. I definitely love browsing through their gift shop while we wait for the table, but it's definitely a tempting situation to spend more money because their stuff is awesome. Yankee Candles to clothes and games and stuffed animals, they have something for every person in your family.

Friendly customer service, great breakfast and lunch menus. They have long waits on Sunday, which is expected because of people eating after church. If you do have to wait they have nice rocking chairs out front to relax in and socialize with family/friends. They also have a store with a lot of unique items. Chicken Fried Chicken is awesome. They do egg white omelets as alternatives to any egg thing on the menu, just ask. The fruit yogurt meal is great too.

Cracker Barrel is pretty much always awesome as long as you don't hate people. This place is always packed with large groups and families enjoying breakfast at all times of the day. Really strange variety of servers. Sometimes you get the speed talking extra friendly person, then you get that awkward guy that stands over your table like he's mute. But they are all pretty innocent. I've never had a problem with breakfast - because breakfast rocks all the time. But my friend got runny grits that he swears had not taste. No worries - he mixed it into his gravy and smothered it over his omelet and now wants copyrights on the meal he created. I conquered this huge glazed cinnamon bun thingy covered in pecans. We were so stuffed we sat around talking - then joking - then getting pissed that the waiter didn't pick up my friends card. We forgot : Pay ticket at register. That's what good southern food does to you ... kills brain cells.

This place is always busy, but the couple of times we have eaten in this location, we were still seated within 15 minutes. Great food and they came out fast. The servers are attentive. There is no way your drinks will be half full. My favorite is the roast beef dinner - thick cut USDA Choice Chuck Roast which is slow roasted in the "pot roast" tradition for up to 14 hours until fork tender. True or not it's Mmmmm mmmmm good!

One of my wife's favorite places to eat in Jacksonville or whenever or wherever we're on the road too. The food is very basic but good, but smaller portion sized. The service is usually very prompt and courteous. But to me it always just seems loud .and country cliché.

Love this place! The several times I have been to this location, it is always busy it you get seated pretty fast. Breakfast rocks here all day...the French Toast is awesome! Friday fish is good too! Servers are friendly and on top of their game...always there with drink refills but not overbearing at all! Love the old style store, always interesting items, but maybe not play the country music so loud. Great food, clean restaurant and store, friendly employees and the little golf tee game on the tables. Always a pleasure!

We paid a visit to this particular Cracker Barrel on a Sunday afternoon. Had to wait about 20 minutes (the suggested time) before being seated. The fireplace was roaring but they did not have the central heat on high, so the temperature was very comfortable. Even though the restaurant was very crowded, we had awesome, prompt service by our waiter, Bob, who treated us like we were the only customers there (a plus!). Knowing the food might take a bit longer, he brought us our biscuits first, which tamed the hunger until the food arrived. (Smooth move, never seen before at a Cracker Barrel.) Three of us had breakfast, one had a burger, and I had the chicken livers. Everything was cooked to order and just the way we like it. The bacon was especially well done, more crisp than chewy - definite plus. I highly recommend this particular Cracker Barrel. The wait time is average but the food & service is excellent and makes it worth your while.

I've always loved this place warm home cooked food always find cute outfits for my daughters. As service was great considering we were needy that night hahahahahaha poor lady. Service was good but first time my food comes out most of its cold -___- I tell her so nicely cause I hate being a stingy rude customer. But it seemed like she rolled her eyes. Idk if it was at the kitchens expense or me but either way shouldn't be seen. Other than that when my food came out again it was fine no problems I just never had a problem there and I'm always reading reviews about Peoples food being cold for getting something wrong so I decided to check and I felt my food and it was just about cold. Everything was at its stage like it was getting to warm and not hott. Like it was sitting out too long I don't know what to think because I have been going here so many years I will continue to come back but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on my food
