Finally was able to return with family for a Saturday early dinner and it was delicious! Our waitress was new and a little slow, but she did a good job otherwise. Our shrimp dinners were very good and my daughter's fish sandwich was very good size.

Great restaurant, reasonable prices! Strongly recommend Crab Creek Cafe.... We stumbled upon Crab Creek Cafe in late March 2013, b/c our car was being worked on at a nearby garage, as we were travelling from VA to Tampa for a family vacation. We had a GREAT lunch there! B/c we don't live in FL, I can't compare Crab Creek Cafe now to what it was like years ago, but I can compare it to many other seafood restaurants we've eaten at. To start off, we are very picky with the quality of calamari- we have a great local place in VA where we order what we think it the world's best calamari. At Crab Creek, we ordered the calamari for an appetizer, though we feared it might come out overcooked or heavily breaded, like a lot of other restaurants do-- to our delight, Crab Creek's calamari was actually wonderful! Perfectly cooked. My wife, kids, and I all loved it! My wife ordered the grouper topped with crab meat and some kind of cheese. It was only $10. The grouper entree was INCREDIBLE!! In the past, we've paid $20-30 for fish entrees at places like Bonefish that were no where close to how good Crab Creek's grouper entre was. I had a grilled chicken sandwich which was fine for a basic chicken sandwich. The fries were yummy, but the unexpected nice surprise was the delicious coleslaw. Really. It was great coleslaw! Our kids were happy with their meals. The hush puppies on everyone's plate were very good. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Thanks Crab Creek Cafe for a very nice lunch!

I like this place because it's definitely old style Jax. 70%+ of the patrons had silver hair and that adds some character. If you go here, only get the FRIED stuff. Their fried shrimp is great. They have a awesome cocktail sauce and pepper sauce and the Hush Puppies are fresh tasting. This is not for the health conscious person. BUT, if you want a bit of old school Jacksonville in a sketchy neighborhood and some of the best fried seafood in NE FLA, then go here.

Off Atlantic, tucked away behind a gas station. I felt in the mood for seafood, and this place is FAB!!!! At first I thought, hmmm, the prices seemed pricey, but for what you get, its a downright deal... Plus, this cook has some special dishes he concotes that are out of this world. This is not your everyday fried seafood place, although you can get it... My mom had a grouper filet, topped with shrimp in a sweet Thai chili sauce and I had a blackened group filet smotherd with a rich sour cream and Parmesan cheese topping... it was yummy!!...omg, so decadent. We both said, why have we not discovered this place before!! It is a lil divey....lol, but those are the best, right??.... Its on Atlantic and Arlington... across from CVS behind the gas station. Give this place a try.. You will really be glad you did... It's that good, esp if you go off the menu and select the chef's specials...

My wife went to Macclenny to babysit the grandkids, so I was forced to bachelor it this evening. I decided to go try a place I had never been and ended up here at 'Crab Creek Cafe' and am happy I did. I walked in and was promptly greeted and seated, by a very friendly waitress. I ordered the Seafood Combo for one which included ... broiled shrimp, scallops, fish, fried clam strips and a deviled crab. They immediately informed me that they weren't getting any oysters at this time and would I mind if the gave me extra shrimp instead ... I'm like no problem! The wait for the food to be brought out was nominal, I would have gladly waited twice as long because when the food came out it was really good. As far as portion size it was very good as I had to ask for a to go box to take leftovers home. If your looking for good seafood at a reasonable price and don't need to be ensconced in an overly pretentious environment while enjoying your seafood, this is a place you need to try!

Well I went back after ordering the wrong thing. Something about sweet and seafood just doesn't do it for me. I ordered the shrimp with chili sauce and rice. Well after the first bite I knew I was in for a bad meal. So this time I ordered fried shrimp and scallops. Should be really easy for a seafood restaurant. Think, maybe not. Bland is the first thing that comes to mind then right after that is where is the rest of my meal. 13.41 for this meal and a diet coke. See my food in photos. Oh yea, one other thing that I always say is that if you think you can cook you should be able to make coleslaw. Well this cook can put cabbage, carrots, and onions in the food processor. That was it no mayo, mustard, or vinegar just veg. So all the folks that think this place is great you can have my food. Later

Had the seAfood combination last night. Food was excellent service was also excellent. The only issue was they don't serve alcohol. I was expecting a dive but was shocked by the quality of the place. Prices were reasonable. I will go again.

Me and my family have been eating thus homemade family style seafood for over 20 years! Sense they were genes seafood off merrill!!! Man I'm getting old! Love the food. Love the staff. I wish they had a Jimmie buffett band! lol

Friendly fast service and great food! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes fresh seafood. I know I will definitely be going back!

Used to be good but last was disappointing. No lemon and they charge for all extras. Expensive and not worth it. Many more better choices in Jax.
