I really want to give them 5 stars. My experience here has been great with the exception of this last visit. The food is good! Especially their breakfast! Yes I'm going to deduct a star FOR NOW because of the multiple times they have fell short when it comes to "online ordering". Especially if I'm paying for the add-ons. My co-workers (3) and I on different occasions used the online ordering but they always seem to forget the small details. Like adding or removing a item/topping from the dish. Besides that, food is great! Pastries are awesome!

Went for lunch/breakfast the other day with my hubby. I was lucky to be able to go to the soft opening here a few days ago and I came home raving about it to hubby so had to take him here to try it. He loved it! He got breakfast eggs/bacon/ pancakes, he scarfed it all down with a blueberry muffin. He said it was all delish. I was trying to be good and got the Asian salad, it was very tasty with the crunchy wonton strips and the dressing very good, I then ruined any calories I saved by getting a choc baby bunt cake ( Amy said they were so good so had to try), and she was not lying it was wonderful, the key to choc cake is it has to be moist and this was! We both left stuffed and we will come back again:) Also try the Anahaim Scrambler for breakfast it was sooo good!

Crappy service. Food cold. Will never be coming back and made a few customers turn around as they walked through the door. Should not be taking over an hour to receive food. Very unhappy first time customer

3 stars for ehhh and ambience The Wonton salad wasn't bad however the chicken panini and mac cheese and grilled cheese are basic. I think I set myself up for that ehhh feeling after ordering everything that cooks in butter and has melted cheese because I feel like the next stop is el Bano to clear the tunnels. I did try the Anaheim scrambler and asked for it specific way without a certain ingredient and had them yell it out as well only to find out to was still there included. When your allergic to stuff and it's included in your to go you just don't feel like clicking another star when all you can do is stare at your to to dinner that your brought home because you believed in the associates so much to not check. Guess that how life is and the just pick it out attitude still resides at this place. Cheers I will probably come back the next time I cannot produce a bowel movement.

I had the steak and cheese hoagie. Overall a MUCH better sandwich than at Panera. I would have rated it higher, but I asked for the bread well toasted, and it was hardly toasted, the portion of steak was skimpy for the price, and there were very few mushrooms, onions or peppers. The "dipping sauce" on the side was DISGUSTING- it tastes like hot Caltalina salad dressing. The warm cheese sauce was much better, albeit a bit salty. For dessert I had the salty caramel cupcake bite- it was tasty, not too sweet, but a bit dry.

Stopped in this morning for breakfast. We both ordered the Anaheim Panini. It came out quick and was delicious! Just the right size. Nice, clean, quiet restaurant and we will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! Went to their soft opening on Saturday 8/27/14. Normal new-restaurant issues that come with an entirely new staff that I'm sure will be worked out. Pros: quick service, great food, Clean environment, save area, friendly staff, great ambiance Cons: limited parking, menu can be intimidating Recommendation: a must for breakfast or lunch!

3.5 stars I came here on a beautiful Wednesday morning to eat some breakfast. It's my first time here at a Corner Bakery Cafe, and it's just like a Panera Bread. I love how they have a tons of booths and some of them even have power outlets. The dividers effectively separated the dining area into three sections. As an added bonus, you get to watch and laugh at people stuck in traffic on JTB while you're enjoying your breakfast and coffee. Although the construction on the side of JTB does take away some of that pleasure. There are also outside seating if you're into that kind of things. There was a decent amount of people here (but not packed), low noise level, and the staff are friendly. I ordered the All American Scrambler, and I didn't really like it. The scrambled eggs tasted like ones that ate made from one of those big bags of premade eggs. Bacons were too dried. The potatoes and bread were okay. Overall, it tasted like something from a hotel's complimentary breakfast. Nothing to brag about. TL; DR: lots of booths, good place to meet up, view of JTB+construction, friendly staff, mediocre hotel-like breakfast.

What a weird place! They offer a avocado and spinach sandwich that comes only with one thin slice of avocado. I stopped ordering that because i feel ripped off. I started orderin the Anaheim Scrambler, a scramble egg that come with onions, avocados, peppers, and mushrooms and they some how manage to make that with no flavor at all. It is weird! I gave it one star because their swiss oatmeal is excellent, it is the only dish that is always good.

Chain place or not, I'm a fan of Corner Bakery Cafe. I first visited one in El Paso, TX after they catered after a half marathon, and then visited the restaurant itself. My favorite is the trio sampler salad, where you get three scoops of salads of your choice. It's a light meal and satisfies my desire to eat small amounts of EVERYTHING!! It's a great lunch-on-the-go that won't fill you with regret. They also do a decent breakfast -- the yogurt parfaits are not as sugary-sweet as others I've had, and this is a good thing! The yogurt actually tastes a little like yogurt instead of cake frosting! The parfaits are assembled fairly fresh because the granola is still crunch and the fruit isn't smooshy. My kids have loved the cinnamon rolls, and I've had their muffins at office breakfasts too. Coffee isn't bad either! Lots of options here -- think of it like Panera but different...and they won't push a bakery item on you every time either!

Ughhhhh I hate this place. They always manage to screw something up. Every time. And you aren't able to have your order corrected because it'll take an additionally 20 minutes to fix. So annoying. Additionally, they're rude and very unhelpful. I've given this place tons of chances and I can officially say I'm done!!!

Late breakfast or late lunch, either way in 10 minutes I'm in and out. Located in a small plaza with the cross section of doom off JTB this place seems to always be packed. If it's not peak hours then it's an overflow detour from accidents on the highway. I should probably check it out on the weekend but I stay clear of the area when I'm not being paid. Great sandwiches, soups, and desserts. Really everything is good, so don't be too mad at the line of people looking up that can't decide on what they want. Mini caramel bundt cake with huge chocolate chip morsels... Salted caramel latte Chicken Pomodori Panini Combo w/soup (lunch staple) *I tried the mac n cheese, it's okay but the soup it much better. And a hearty creamy soup fits this weather so much better. (Tomato Basil gotta be the best.) When the weather finally warms up, there is outside seating to take in a sunnier outdoor lunch. Sign up for their email list thingy - always great coupons in my inbox.

I don't normally get up early for breakfast during the week, but when I do it's for pancakes. Found out through a friend that they are running a promo stating that you could get a free stack of 4 buttermilk pancakes and all you had to do is reserve a time slot at a participating store. Wait, what? All I have to do is sign-up? Yes please! The place is not difficult to find and not far from my job. It's near fast food alley on Butler Blvd. I walked in and noticed that they were decorating for Christmas already. Geez. The place was kinda dead and I couldn't help but notice while following the path to the front counter, the very end of the path puts you right in front of the bakery case. Smart and very tempting, but not today. The lady behind the counter was so courteous. I showed her my reservation for free pancakes and got my order in, along with a Pumpkin Latte and some scrambled eggs. I took my order number from her and waited on my Latte off to the side. There was some kind of delay with getting it to me, which I don't understand still but the staff member upsized my drink for my wait. Sweet! The Latte was very good. I then sat down at a table nearby and waited maybe 5 minutes for the rest of my order to come out. Everything looked fabulous and I knew I had a major undertaking ahead of me. I didn't expect the pancakes to be as huge as they were! I did my best to eat as much as I could but I couldn't eat them all. I wasn't a fan of the maple syrup as I like my syrup a little thicker. Nevertheless, the entire meal was more than I could handle and I was pleasantly full. I'll definitely be back for lunch :)

I fully intend on returning to Corner Bakery to try out some of there lunch items. I stopped in a for quick breakfast b/c I finally had a little extra time on my morning work commute. I am glad I did b/c the Anaheim Panini I had hit the spot. It was fresh and delicious and exactly what I wanted. I was surprised that there weren't more people in there considering how busy that area is in the morning, but I'm chalking it up to good timing on my part. The reason I am only giving 3 stars at this point in time is b/c this review is based off of one visit. I will update after another one or two tries. But in my opinion, Corner Bakery is worth stopping in and grabbing a quick, satisfying, delicious and fresh bite to eat.

Picked up a chicken Caesar salad, and the mac and cheese to split with hubby for lunch. Mac and cheese was decent although it needed salt and pepper. The salad was flavorful but with only 2 dabs of dressing, it was dry. For a special treat, we decided to get the lemon Square and pumpkin cake. Lemon square was good just needed a little bit more tang. The pumpkin cake was very rich and had great flavor.

Let me first start by saying, we had a hard time finding their menu online (internet issue) so we called the office... Jesus offered to hand-deliver a menu to our office! Super nice... thankfully we found the menu. I ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich with a side Caesar. The salad was great, it was the perfect size with plenty of dressing and the lettuce was very crisp. The sandwich was equally fantastic. The bread was so different, but in a good way. The chicken was not dry at all. I could've used more pesto, but still delicious. Will be returning!

First time here and am very pleased. I had the house chopped salad and black currant iced tea. Both were very good. Friendly staff made the place even better. The chopped salad was large - I had the entree portion but you can opt for a smaller size. Very worth it though. For the money I paid I got more food and better quality than the "apple" chain across the highway. This is my new favorite lunch spot.

I hate omelets and their brethren... ...except here. The one with avocado and bacon invades my dreams, even as far away a Zurich! Yeah, I know, Zurich! Plus their perfectly oxymoronic pancakes() are the stuff clouds and dreams are made from! Crispy and fluffy at the same time? Yep. Try them if you don't believe. Oh, and I won't even try to tempt you with their monster cookies since I'd prefer if they were always stocked and available just for me and maybe my niece--but only 'cause she may be the only person I know who loves them more than me

I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day brunch since she's a huge fan of Corner Bakery Cafe. That was my first time stopping in to have a meal. I opted for half of a turkey sandwhich and tossed salad and it was pretty good. I'm on a diet so this low calorie option was great! I loved the vinaigrette on the salad and the sandwhich had flavor. I especially enjoyed the multigrain bread. I tried some of my mom's tomato bisque and that was great as well. I'm not hard to please. Everything here looked fresh, prepared and displayed nicely. The environment was clean and the prices were comparable to Panera Bread or other likeminded cafe-like places. The only thing I didnt get to try were those cute little bundt cakes! Went here this past weekend with the hubby and toddler in tow. Had a good time. We walked in and were immediately overwhelmed with all the food choices because we wanted to eat them all! I got a baked potato soup and pesto chicken sandwhich, my husbands got the steak and cheese hot sandwhich with their three cheese Mac. We got our daughter the kids combo with lemon chicken orzo soup and turkey sandwhich with an m&m cookie. The chicken pesto sandwhich was really good. Had nice thick slices of tomato with a decent amount of chicken. I was pretty happy with the sandwhich. The soup was pretty good but I feel like it could have used a little more flavor. My husband loved his sandwhich too and I have to say the flavor was pretty good. As for the Mac and cheese I thought it would be creamier it was a bit on the drier side. My daughter ate up the turkey off the sandwhich and her soup was a good size. She enjoyed the lemon chicken orzo which I also thought was quiet tasty. We also got an Anaheim scrambler which was just as delicious as I had expected! Nice chunks of avocado and tomatoes and lots of cheese. My husband and I agree though that it could have used a pinch of salt during the cooking process and my husband doesn't even like the salt shaker so for him to say that it must mean something. Now for the desserts, we got a pumpkin bundt cake, a lemon pound cake slice and an m&m cookie. The pumpkin cake was sooo good. Super moist and a big size. The lemon pound cake was a disappointment. It had a good lemon flavor but it was so dry that I didn't want to even eat it. I only didn't complain because my husband didn't want me to. The m&m cookie was full of candy bits and it was more m&m than cookie which is okay in my book! As for the service I would say they did pretty good. When they brought out the food the only thing they forgot were forks and spoons but overall they were very nice and we enjoyed ourselves. They seem to have a few things to tweak but nothing too major. Oh and I almost forgot, for our whole smorgasbord of food we only paid about $35 and we had leftovers! So you know I was a happy camper:-)

Great customer service! The manager here is amazing :-) I enjoy the food each weekend. They deliver the food straight to your table as soon as it is ready. They have a Wi-Fi connection. I come here to study and they are always so nice to me. My wife recommends the chocolate muffin! I love the Anaheim scrambler and a monster cookie :-) I will come here over cracker and Panera! Better food. Better atmosphere!

After the Yelp event during Corner Bakery's soft open I knew I'd be back soon. I live super close so one Saturday morning after grocery shopping and before working out, I decided to stop in for a quick bite. Their breakfast menu is huge, there are options for any taste. I have been attempting to eat healthy (at least more healthy than I usual) so I went with the avocado and spinach power panini thin. When the woman behind the counter said it was $3.25, I was a little worried that I ordered next to nothing. Boy was I impressed when I got home and open my sandwich! It is on the small side but it was the perfect tasty, quick, and healthy breakfast. It was served with salsa but I didn't even need it. This past Saturday I decided to grab Corner Bakery for dinner. I used their online ordering which was very simple and quick. I got the combo with the Asian chicken salad and chicken tortilla soup (my 2 favorites at the Yelp event). I was surprised when I pulled up (around 6pm on a Saturday) and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. When I walked in there were a few people looking at the menu so I walked over to where it says to pick up online orders and waited. By the time someone came over and told me I would need to go to the other register, the other people were already being helped. It was just sort of odd because there seemed to be quite a few employees behind the counter. Anyway, my soup and salad was around $10, not too bad but not great either (right on par with Panera and I'm sure that is not a coincidence). The salad and soup were great but on both visits the service was a little...odd? I'm not sure if it's because the place just opened or what but it just felt like the service was the minimum to be considered acceptable. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it, it just felt odd that when I walked into a place this size with maybe 10 customers in the building I felt like there was no urgency from employees to help. I've had much worse experiences at other places but I've also had better. As I said above, I live super close so I'll be back, it just seems there may still be some opening day kinks to work out.

When we walked in, most of the restaurant was clumsily roped off with an assortment of seating devices to keep us filthy customers out of the mopped area. Staff was complaining loudly when we arrived and throughout the visit. I ordered the wonton salad with no cucumbers. I don't like them! The order taker gave no indication this wasn't an option. Another girl came by and asked if I was allergic to cucumbers because, "they come in the mix, and we can't take them out". Well, I appreciate her asking, but don't lead me to believe something is an option if it isn't. I'd rather order something else than have to pick cucumber chunks out of my salad. She then hollered back to the kitchen, "She's not allergic!" which made me feel about 2 inches tall. Needless to say, I will never return to this location. They staff made it an all together unpleasant experience.

This particular cafe is like a warm hug. You can always use a warm hug. Food at great, prices are decent but their services shines through like a burning ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Here's your agenda for the day: 1. Drive/walk/run/jog/skip to Corner Bakery 2. Give them your money 3. Enjoy your delectable.

Today was my first time at Corner Bakery. I had heard a lot of hype and apparently so did a lot of other people! The place was packed! With all the foot traffic I was excited to see if the food lived up to the obvious reputation. I was very pleased. I ordered the chicken pomodori panini and the mac and cheese. The panini was ooey gooey and perfectly crisp, a lethal combination. And the mac and cheese, while not the best I've had, will definitely go in my top ten. The staff, even through the hectic lunch rush, were more than happy to help. I got a friendly face each time and outstanding service. Corner Bistro has food, good people, good prices. I'd definitely come here again.

Not really out of the ordinary. Wife ordered Southwest Salad. Served with not much more than a lot of lettuce. I had the Farmers Scrambler with fruit as a side since they were out of potatoes. The scrambler was served luke warm. Will probably not be back.

Looking for a new breakfast option, we decided to try The Corner newest location off of JTB on Bonneval Rd. Based on its location, the establishment caters mostly to the many nearby office complex workers looking for breakfast and/or lunch. It also provides catering options for office meetings and celebrations. Going with my usual favorite option, I went for the pancakes. I was delighted as they were fluffy, cooked to perfection and y filled the plate. In addition, included was bacon and two eggs. This was full platter. The only problem was not getting a container of syrup along with the meal. You place your order at the counter and it is cooked then. It is delivered to you at your table or booth, either inside or in the patio. The condiments are located along with the coffee dispensers. While there was a bottle of "lite" syrup, I wanted the full boat. However, with just a word at the order counter, I was presented with a container of syrup. My wife ordered the Anaheim scrambler one of number of made to order scrambled egg combination. The Scramblers come with toast and either fruit or oven-roasted potatoes. The Anaheim had smoked bacon, green onions and cheddar cheese topped with sliced avocados. The servings are plentiful and cooked to order, no food cooked and left under heat lamps here. It is not fast food, but the wait is short and well worth the cooked to order result. The prices are a little high for a breakfast menu, but not excessive for the quantity and quality of the food. There is plenty of room in the restaurant and the noise level is low, even with a large number of customers. If time is not of the essence, waiting until after the initial breakfast crowd has left and before the early lunch crowds start eliminates long ordering lines.

This Corner Bakery was amazing when it first opened last year, but lately things are going downhill. Service is becoming increasingly more slow (long waits for food to be delivered) and the quality is inconsistent. I ordered the usual for lunch today: half Club Panini and half Chopped salad. Both are supposed to come with bacon. Neither had bacon. Also our order was forgotten, so we had waited 20 minutes before receiving our food. Not acceptable for a work lunch break. I spoke with the manager and he graciously offered to refund the meal, which was appreciated. But I recommend that company management fix what' seems to be broken at this location.

4.5 stars!! Love this place! After being tired of the same old sandwiches in Jax, I decided to come out and try this place (I had seen this place on TV on a Saturday morning). Got their Anaheim Panini for breakfast and it was delish!! So after church service I brought my wife, son and daughter - along with our friends - and we all enjoyed it!! Their choice of sandwiches and soups were all good and tasty!! I also feel that their price and value is much better than a Panera's. I had their Spicy Asian Pork hot toasted sandwich - LOVED it!! My son had their Steak & Cheese hot toasted sandwich and he really enjoyed it. My wife got their Turkey Pretzel sandwich and she really enjoyed it as well - although she thought it was a tad bit salty. Our friends got their Soup and Salad and they both really enjoyed it. I think I loved this place because they are offering something new and fresh - I cannot wait to come back to this place again!!

This is a great place for morning coffee-muffin-conversation, for a business lunch, for a hearty dinner when you don't feel like cooking, or for iced tea and a bagel while studying or reading. The most reliable wifi in Jacksonville, too, with outlets at pretty much every table! I've been here for breakfast, for lunch, and for dinner. The sriracha black bean soup is deeeelish, all the salads are fantastic, and the everything bagel has more of "everything" than anyone else's. I love the oatmeal, the paninis, well, just everything! But the best part of this place is the staff! Everyone is so nice, so courteous, and Jesus will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy with your experience. And it's very, VERY clean - a major plus for me!

The staff at this location are near incompetent. After I ordered a $9 sandwich and a half a salad with an upcharge for chicken I was told they could not make me that sandwich and had to settle for a cheaper panini and once my food arrived I did not have chicken on my salad. I had to go back and ask for the chicken I ordered and the staff appeared dumbfounded. I was not compensated for the cheaper sandwich I had to settle for and had to beg for the other upcharge. They staff did not appear to care that I was annoyed even though I was practically the only person in there. Never going back go that location.

This place is awesome. The food is great and the atmosphere is great as well. I have had the loaded potato,Spicy Asian sandwich, Chicken Carbanara, and Panini. I have been 4 times. Today I had the Spicy Asian without the crabs(BUN). The They also have lots of good looking sweets. They serve a Hibiscus/Lemonade that is wonderful as well as the regular lemonade. They do have a lot of choices but not to many. The food is healthy and they do not fry anything which is great. This is a great place to come for a good dinner. The lunch time is crowded and parking is very thin and if you are not there before the crowd drive on to the net location.

Crappy service. Food cold. Will never be coming back and made a few customers turn around as they walked through the door. Should not be taking over an hour to receive food. Very unhappy first time customer

Food is good, but the staff have zero personality. It seems like it pains them to take an order.
