Man, I don't know what happened to this place! Clearly, management told the staff to ease up on the food portion because the past couple of times I've been here they have totally skimped out on the rice and beans and I've had to ask them to add a bit more so she adds a few more grains of rice... Great, thanks! That's for the bowl. For the burrito... That thing was so tiny! I go to Chipotle because, despite the high price, the portions are always huge. This doesn't apply to this location clearly. And then today she gives me my flimsy bowl with no tray... What the heck happened here?! I don't think I'll be coming to this Chipotle again, and I'm quite sad about that.

This location is not one of my favorites. The meat is usually overdone and the service usually isn't the best. The kitchen area is small and seems cramped. It can get busy and the line seems to go fairly slow.

"Chipotle is my lifeeee" Being a vegetarian, chipotle has been my go to when I decide to have "fast food" The ingredients are quality, fresh and healthy and you order your entree exactly the way you desire. The chipotle in the town center is close to my house but I dread going there due to their slow service and ridiculous lines, which brings me to this location. Its near the airport across from Rivercity and is far less busy than the town center location. Based on my past experiences I would have rated this chipotle five stars but the past two times I have come here they were out of guacamole (which is AMAZING and the thing I crave the most from here!). The employees are polite, there is ample parking and seating both indoor and outdoor and the outdoor area is pet friendly. There is a Moes across the street from this location but when it comes to quality Chipotle wins everytime! Two thumbs up.

Was somewhat crowded and the only girl adding sides behind the counter decided to stop working and socialize with everyone else. There was at least 10 orders lined up waiting and she just stood there and started wiping down the counters. Horrible service. Took nearly 25 minutes to get through a line that should have taken less than 10. The girl with the long red dreads need to be fired. She's worthless and a waste of space.

New and delicious just as all the other ones are. So glad there is one on the northside finally. Been saying they should build one up here for 2 years! Not sure why this spot is getting low ratings. All chipotle spots are well kept and all have the same great tasting food. My go to combo: Bowl to go (even if eating in you get a lid so you can shake it up), salad dressing, brown rice, black beans, 1/2 carnitas, 1/2 steak, hot sauce, sour cream, corn, cheese, lettuce, salt, pepper, and some extra hot sauce sprinkled on top. I use to do chicken all the time, but the steak and carnitas is an awesome combo. Chips every now and then. I also ask for 3 hard shell tacos on the side so I can use as chips or make my own tacos. They come as no extra charge.

The absolute worse chipotle I have ever been to. And they keep sucking worse and worse every time I come to this location. I don't know how they manage to keep getting worse but they do. I don't understand how they manage to undercook the meat as bad as they do. I feel like they also have the worse chipotle crew as well... Someone needs to go in there and clean house.

Uh, hello - another Chipotle in Jacksonville??? Yes please!!! And one right next to my office???? Oh crap, I'm gonna gain like 10 pounds!! I'm actually quite proud of myself for maintaining some self control and only coming here a handful of times since it opened. The lunch line can get long so have some patience and be ready with your order. Nothing is worse than being behind the person who goes, "uhhhhhhh....." when asked what they would like after standing in line for 10 minutes. The one thing I don't love at Chipotle is their guac - it is wayyyyy to onion-y for me. But I'm also allergic to avocados so it's probably a good thing that I don't care for their guac or I would be sick every time I ate here!!

Terrible, food is great but they can't keep this place clean. Some new management needs to come in and get this place back in order

This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. First off you walk in and its filthy with food on the table and floors. The outside area is a mess. Whoever owns this franchise take no pride in the establishment. I have been to Chipotle restaurants in Altamonte Springs, Blanding Blvd and town center in Jax and never had a problem. This one opens and they have the gummiest rice!. The shredded beef look like its been sitting all day. They are always out of onions and peppers. My kids get the taco's and on 2 occasions they have ran out of tacos!! What Mexican restaurant run out of tacos??? One time when they had hard tacos and I ordered a kids meal, the girl fixed three, I tried to tell her only two comes with the kids meal and she looks at me like I'm crazy. Then the cashier tries to charge for an extra taco. I said, I told her its only two and she gets an attitude as well. I live on the north side but this chipotle won't get any of my business again.

Really dirty. Dining area was a mess, and even the food prep area seemed grungy. Hadn't really seem that at any other Chipotle.

A great Chipotle with a great staff! Very kind people, and they've actually got it together. Very unlike the one at the town center! :-)

This is one of the worst chipotles that I've been to. The service is very sluggish and they are not adequately able to keep up with the demand that many chipotle locations face. The location is ideal in that it is right off of I95 and near a major airport but the staff could use some more training for sure.

Evidently you either like Chipotles or you don't like them. First visit. Told server that I was unfamiliar with their set up. We were given a half hearted explanation of what they offer and how to order. Seems some better signage could explain it to you. One person ordered a salad no chips given ( like at Barbarito's). We saw it was an extra item after most of the salad was eaten. Steak burrito was okay, but not something I would come rushing back to for another visit. Bill was over $30 for two burritos and a salad with drinks. Due to their popularity I can only assume you are either in or out with this restraunt. I prefer my Barberito's back home.

Chipotle is always good, but I was disappointed that they were out of chicken and they told me it would be a while.. They didn't really want me to wait so I ordered steak tacos and I wasn't really fan of the steak. But overall a good experience.

I really don't know how to say this but here it goes. This chain restaurant is pretty darn good. The hot sauce is hot and the meat has flavor. I heard the chipotle's was coming to the river city mall and thought great another chain. I got the Barbados burrito and I really enjoyed it. There wasn't too many beans and the rice added to the whole flavor profile. The whole décor thing is pretty lame if you ask me. They have a big wall of nothing but plywood maybe like an old wooden fort that we used t built when I was growing up. They have a bunch of folks behind the counter just jumping at the chance to help you build your burrito, bowl, tacos or what ever you get. So to Taco Bell and that flats place better watch out there a New Mexican on the block.

Meh. So first off everyone says it's cheap. We spend as much here as u do at an actual Mexican restaurant for non tex mex. Secondly the portions get smaller and smaller. Our chips were stale. The decor is odd as well. Little seating and mostly stools. We sat outside. Not thrilled to say the least.

If we could rate this dump zero stars we would. Where to begin? Quesadillas were a disaster. If you were introduced to them at the Friendlys chain, you know how good they can be, open-faced with chicken, fresh melted cheese, tasty hot salsa, nicely toasted and topped with sour cream. Forget all that. They slap some filling of your choice inside a tortilla with a little cheese, fold it over and heat it up. Out comes a pancake that you can add salsa to if you also happen to have ordered tortilla chips that come with their own salsa. The Coca Cola was not ruined. How about decor and atmosphere. Very few actual chairs at a very small number of tables. Otherwise, you have to sit on stools. At least they are padded. Hope you don't need or want back support when you sit down to dinner. The rest of the "ambiance" makes you nostalgic for the last Mickey D's you visited. Think used car lot ambiance. Service was, well, what can you say about fast food joint service. There is none! So why do they put a jar for tips on the counter. You're supposed to leave a tip so long as there are no visible signs the "server" has just gone to the bathroom and returned without having washed his hands? Clientele? Well, no one pulled a gun on us. Price? Appropriately cheap. But THEY should have paid US.

It's Chipolte nothing to complain. But if your eating with multiple people the bill does stack up.

This has got to be the worst Chipotle branch. Steak wasn't seasoned, chips and salsa was horrible, and the rice was gummy (in balls). Learn from the Chipotle at the Town center, it stays crowded. This went straight into the garbage can.

Chipotle is amazing!!! Do not listen to the one or two star ratings, for it really depends what you get there. I ALWAYS get the burrito with light black beans and white rice. Then I get chicken (which is about the best chicken you will ever have) and lettuce and light cheese. I also got chips and guac (which is my favorite guac and I LOVE guacamole). The chips are a little stale usually, which is odd. But they still taste good.

Ordered the hard tacos and received a soft taco instead with one small flour tortilla for the entire bowl of ingredients (guess they thought they could get away with it since I was ordering to go?). Not remotely worth it for the price they are charging. Steak was too chewy and it seems that the employees have a hard time getting orders right as we saw several people come back to the counter because their orders were wrong.

This is the first Chipotle that I've visited that the staff is sucky. No line at 11:30 am. One girl rolling a burrito. Nobody taking orders. The closest guy to me makes no eye contact, no welcoming gestures, no hi sorry we're all so busy right now we can't interact. He scrapes the grill. The empty grill. Scrape. Scrape. Scrape. When my order is complete, dude knocks it sideways and half the cheese falls off. Want more cheese? No, dude, I like it spilled all over your counter.

Well I tried I really did try! My sister and my daughter said "mom I will bring home dinner". They bought home chipotle. The clue should have been there was no line. So of course they order 5 different bowls for everyone. How in the world could the associates making the orders could mess it up. Maybe it was the other 3 customers that came in. Out of the five bowls they managed to only get 3 right in the bag. So now there is a woman that has 3 bowls that are wrong. One bowl my sisters has no guacamole and no meat. Has brown rice not white rice. Then the they 2bowls have beef my and my daughter don't eat meat. My sister thought it was strange that they were so busy having conversations among them selves that something was bound to be wrong! I have had it with this location. I don't like to scomplain and I give credit where it's due. They get no credit and at this point I would rather take the 27.83 trash it. I would really like for someone to contact me but I won't hold my breath!

Although it's a recently new eatery, the food was good but the staff could use a lot of training. One taco had to much on a n the other was barely a taco at all. I will say the chips and salsa were great! The decor was kinda cheap looking. But overall not bad for a fast bite.

Quick healthy food at reasonable prices. Fresh natural ingredients, including all of their meats and enough options without being overwhelming. The place can be busy, but the line moves along. No holding tables as there will be a spot for you once you have your food!

Not quite up to the standards that I've come to expect from Chipotle but it might be the new employees still working on honing their craft.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
