There is a lot of food to choose from, the food is good, and the sushi is pretty good. Most buffets don't have good sushi. Even my son likes the sushi and food here.

O.K. chinese food, the selection is not the best, but the food is pretty good. The mongolian BBQ station is ok. I prefer this as it is fresh and you get what you want. I eat here when I go to visit my great aunt, I have to bring her back some, she is 97 and loves chinese food. The neighborhood is thuggish, and therefore the cliental tends to be sort of rough, loud, sagging pants, cursing and not very family friendly. Not their fault ,but get in get food and get out.

The food is fresh, plentiful and a wide variety of food choices. They also have a Mongolian BBQ chef, waiting to cook your special concoction. Please leave him a tip. Ming is my favorite waiter, but they are all good. There is a big selection of Sushi. I love China Buffet. They also have crablegs too, you can partake in for a few dollars more. This China Buffet is a few dollars cheaper than most.

China Buffet is tucked into the strip mall across from Outback. Right next door to Beall's Outlet and Once Upon a Child. The store front is unassuming and at first you are wondering if the inside will be the same. When you walk in the first thing you notice is that it is not as big as some and the selection is not as large. But it is clean and you aren't afraid to eat off the silverware. The bathrooms are older, but again, your not afraid to use them. The buffet carried all the usuals and the food is fresh and replenished constantly. The sushi bar wasn't that big, but I got an assortment of rolls (9 maybe?) that were all good and included Eel, Salmon, Tuna and the always there crab meat. For $8.95 for dinner on a Saturday night, I thought it was a great deal! I also got a 20% off coupon in the Mint Magazine. $17.50 for me and my two kids is the kind of place we will go back too!

Never had dinner there, but lunch wasnt bad....good, fresh buffet....staff very friendly, and accomodating....bathrooms clean....mongolian was bland......mostly the food was too....I guess they cant make things too spicy or too flavorful....otherwise someone would complain about being allergic to seafood, spices, or MSG...... My biggest complaint was some screaming brat was running around inside the dining room and the parents did nothing to curtail this little monster's rant....(please leave your screaming, colicky little brats at home)_,,,,,,,,,I hate eating in a noisy environment....particularly screaming, unsupervised toddlers....geez....poor staff did nothing, so as not to offend the humanoids that spawned this offspring...

This place is kinda hard to locate. The food is pretty good. Come Around 2 so U'll be stuffed the rest of the day. Oyah u have to pay a lil bit more if u eat some of the sea food. They have a sign so u will know which one u shouldn't eat if u don't wanna pay extra. What's great about this place is that they have sesame balls that I think all chinese restaurants should have. This place is better than east coast buffet. Ummm..... How come the people that work here are so skinny????!!!! N they eat whatever they want. :-/

I've eaten at this place for quite a few years.I usually get the Mongolian BBQ to go and enjoy it immensely.I've also eaten in with no problems with the service or atmosphere. The food is good and hot and plentiful.Someone reviewed that the "neighborhood " was bad.I don't understand that because its not in a neighborhood (per say) its in a major shopping/commercial area.were I you I would certainly give this place a chance.

My wife and I were meeting a friend for lunch and he suggested his favorite Chinese buffet in town. We got here right as they opened. The food was fresh, for the most part it was hot, too. Everything tasted good. My only fault comes with the soda... Florida tap water seems strange to me, and the fountain sodas as a result have an odd taste to them, but that's just me. I did like the food though. The meal for lunch was also a bargain at under $10 per person.

This is a decent Chinese buffet.... The food is always hot, fresh and taste great... The buffet is constantly replenished no matter how busy it is in the restaurant.... The staff is ok... Although at times they could be friendlier and more attentive... Over all this is a good place to go if you're looking for decent Chinese food buffet style.

Not bad for a buffet. I did not feel like cooking, and wasn't in the mood for anything that required thought, so I stopped in to this place that I had my eye on since seeing it on my way to the office. Service was great, the food was better than most large buffets, and the price was unbeatable. A definite go-to for a quick and inexpensive bite.

This is one of the only Chinese buffets I will eat at in the Jacksonville area. There are tons of choices on the buffet. If you've ever been to any Chinese buffet, I'm sure you'll be familiar with them all. I really like their honey chicken and their seseeme chicken. They have good fried rice and lo mein as well. Love their won ton soup. It's some of my favourite in the jax area. Out of all the offerings on the buffet, those are the main things I eat. I'm pretty simple that way and I don't like change. No matter the time of day, even during the slow times, the food on the buffet is hot and fresh. They keep it replenished often and keep the area clean. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating. Waitress are ok. They take your drink order and bring it to you. Most of the time, they are good about keeping the glasses refilled. They do have crab legs on the buffet which you can have for a few dollars more. I've personally never tried them. If I'm going to have crab legs, I'm going to a seafood place where I know they are fresh. After all, we do live on the ocean and there are much better places to get crab legs. Overall, I have no complaints about this China Buffet. I've been eating here for many, many years. Probably since around 2000. This use to be one of my daughters' favourite places to go when they were growing up, so it holds a few fond memories. I'll never forget the time my youngest (when she was around 8) was reading the Chinese Zodiac and asked me very, very loudly, "Mommy, what's a cock?" LOL At the time, she had only ever heard of chicken and rooster, so I explained, but I was a tad embarrassed because I got a few odd looks from other patrons because she was so loud with her question. LOL

The best Asian buffet that I have been to in a long while. This is a very big place with a large selection of food. The waitress was very nice and service was prompt. I enjoyed my meal and I will be returning.

Not the best I've been to but FAR from the worst. 8pm and they were still bringing out fresh food unlike some. Most of the food was pretty good. Service was good too.

This place is the worst place I have been is a long time. If you have kids you will be sat in a corner with everybody else who have kids. The waitress stood over the table while we were still eating to see how much her tip was going to be. That was 3 pennies service

Would give negative stars if I could. Walked in at around 8pm...all food was cold. Told manager and he has nerve to tell us ...Ohh, I turn down burner ..keep food fresh. WTF. Health Code Violation...I would never eat here or recommend it.

This location is in the back of the Regency Shopping Center - it's with the Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, Outback Steakhouse and David's Bridal. Overall, it's not a bad place. Lunch is $6.95 and dinner is $8.95. You're looking at a lot of chinese food (obviously!!!), some fried seafood, snow crab legs at dinner, a hibachi grill where they'll prepare meats and veggies to your liking, dessert and sushi! I'm not a sushi snob so I decided to give the sushi a try. I found myself eating more sushi than chinese food. The sushi isn't bad but it's not the greatest stuff I've ever had. They have a variety of your standard rolls and they get a little creative and make a few of the more complex rolls. If you're in the mood for sushi rolls and don't want to spend a fortune, then I'd definitely consider giving this place a shot. The chinese food isn't bad either. The folks at the buffet are always friendly and they are constantly bringing out fresh food and replacing the old with the new.

Non-raw sushi selection was good. Buffet had a good selection but it was all low quality. General TSOs chicken was floating in watered down sauce. Egg roll cabbage was undercooked and crunchy. Ice cream was grocery store buckets of cheap Neapolitan ice cream.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
