Stopped in for a late lunch we were seated after a few minutes and greeted by Ashley who quickly took our drink orders. The restaurant looked about half full but seemed to get a little busier as time went by. I liked the one page double sided menus and also the single card highlighting the daily specials. Chris the store manager stopped by the table once our food was served to ensure everything was correct and we were happy with our choices. The service was perfect not overly attentive but we never waited for anything including the offer for dessert or the check. - Lobster Stuffed Shrimp Appetizer - Four nice size shrimp butterflied and stuffed proportionally with a nice lobster based stuffing served in a small skillet scampi style. The dish was served hot and cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend this as an appetizer for two or it makes a nice entree with a salad. - 1/2 lb. Kobe Beef Burger - This was a great burger cooked medium with the works (tomato - red onion - cheddar cheese - pickles) served on a fresh toasted bun with a thin spread of mayo. I would order this again it was a great lunch choice. - House Chips - These were just okay they were slightly warm when they arrived no dipping sauce and kind of bland and lacked any seasoning. These chips would be a hit if they were offered with a balsamic glaze and blue cheese crumbles just plain there are really nothing special I would omit them next time. All of this plus two ice teas came to just under $30 we had a gift card so this was a bonus. Over all a good experience.

Recently went for a little late night snack, they have a new bar bites menu that looked good so we mostly ordered from that. I have to say we were both very impressed!!! It was interesting and fun food and most importantly tasted good! The lamb lollipop had great flavor and were moist. The Bang bang shrimp were good as always but they seemed not as spicy? But my favorite was the ahi tuna stack, this was bursting with flavor and all the different textures worked perfectly togeather. I loved this dish, i could eat the whole thing myself. We also got dessert cream brulle, good crunch on top and the fresh cream on the side was delish. But the most fun dessert was the do it yourself doughnuts....little doughnut poofs came out hot with fresh cream, carmel, and chocolate sauce. We split them open and filled with your choosing.....sooooo good!

I usually love this place and highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass. I decided to try something different and regretfully ordered the Salmon Salad.. $1.50 extra for like 2 chunks of feta. Iceberg core pieces galore. Come on, Bonefish!

For a chain restaurant the appetizers are good and the cocktails are innovative ! I've always enjoyed all the cocktails here and they change them depending on the season. The espresso martini was rimmed in chocolate and was delish ! The blackberry frost was inside a whole frozen ice block ! How cool ! The watermelon martini during the summer is divine. They also make housemade sours and vanilla bean syrup. The bang bang shrimp is a large portion and $6 on Wednesday that is what they are known for. Amazing whipped cream ! Unlimited mimosas, sangria or bellinis during brunch ! Great price Some of the fish entrees are somewhat bland. The prices are reasonable. I recommend the cocktails and appetizers and the do it yourself donuts.

I always forget about Bonefish b/c I never actually drive past it or see it while I'm out and about. Last night a friend invited us out for his birthday and Bonefish was his destination of choice. We met up in the bar and enjoyed so great Happy Hour cocktails to start with a few appetizers. (they have some great happy hour deals from 4-6:30) Then we moved to a table in the dining room for dinner where we shared a few more apps and enjoyed our meals. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and my friend ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad....we decided to split our orders. This was a great choice after so many starters. All in all, I like Bonefish and I'm glad that I was reminded of how good they are and that they are not as unreasonably priced as some might believe.

I went to Bonefish for the first time for my birthday dinner last month. I really like this restaurant. I ordered the grilled tilapia with lemon butter, fresh green beans and mashed potatoes for my meal. It was so good! We also got the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and it was awesome! Our waitress was great as well. She was very nice and made sure we were happy with our meal. I will now try to make it to Bonefish more often!

Bonefish is reliable. You know what you are going to get and that's it. With the limited amount of really GREAT restaurants in Jacksonville Bonefish comes out with high marks. Bartenders are terrific and should be recognized for their attentiveness, abilities and service.

I was pretty disappointed with how long it took to get our drinks. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a dirty vodka martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives which was delicious and perfectly made but it took us 10 minutes to get them. I would cut them some slack if it was the first drink but it took 10 minutes each time we ordered another drink, so when I was on my second martini I told the server to go ahead and put in another one so I wouldn't have to wait and somehow I still managed to have to wait for my 3rd martini. It was 8:45 and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We ordered the Bang Bang shrimp and it was overcooked and for my entree I ordered the Alaskan king crab meal for $32. I was very disappointed to see only four crab legs, so thank goodness it came with red potatoes to help fill me up.

The absolute best espresso martini in town (without) brown sugar rim. They have changed the menu to indicate the calorie intake.

Went there on a Friday night for a quick appetizer at the bar. The place was bumping! Had a great bar tender named Janet. She took the time to actually talk to us and even asked our names. Made it feel like a local place. We shared a new appetizer being rolled out next week called Dim Sum Chipotle Shrimp Sliders. Awesome flavor and you even build them yourself at the table. Not to mention plenty of drink options and ice cold draft beer. Bonefish is always a winner!

Review by Lovie Divine Poet- It was my birthday, and my son could not have chosen a better dining, dinner at Bonefish Grill. It was both of our first times as guests at the Bonefish Grill. The food amazing, our service impeccable. I, Lovie Divine give it a 5 star!

The fish is simply OK. Not consistent nor flavourful but an expression of corporatist cuisine with a common denominator. Sort of the next level of red lobster. I would much rather enjoy good food prepared by a local place with passion and fresh food. Not A fan.

This Bonefish has quickly become a family favorite (at one point we went 3 times in 3 weeks for birthdays!). It can be busy so reservations are always a safe bet but it's worth it! Every time I've eaten here, we've had great service. They are more than willing to make your dish exactly how you like it to keep you happy. I've never been unhappy with anything I've tried here (bang bang shrimp is a favorite of course, I've also had their crab cakes and salmon but I tend to lend towards their specials). We have a few picky eaters in our family so the ability to make whatever sauce you like is nice. It's not cheap but it's well worth it.

Although it is a tad Pricey, this is a great date night place, or really any night of the week! It is always packed on weekends, but make sure to get there for $5 Bang Bang Wednesdays! Although these days I am really into the Saucy Shrimp Appetizer! YUMMM! Can't ever go wrong with the Bone!

Stopped by for an early dinner, beat the crowd and avoid rush hour traffic. An added bonus is that their happy hour goes to 6:30 p.m. every day. They are a little light on the pour but my wife loved her pom martini while I enjoyed a cold draft Bud light. I know I seem to like the fish Tacos where ever we go, but honestly, their Baja Fish Tacos were the best I ever ate. My wife really enjoyed the salmon asparagus salad accompanied by a cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc. My mom enjoyed their Bang bang Shrimp with a side of steamed vegetables. All in all it was a great meal with impeccable service. We still caught the tail end of rush hour traffic but it was definitely worth it.

I love the bang bang shrimp appetizer! they are quite spicy but so good- I get this every time I go there..also the house salad with hearts of palm is fantastic. All of their dishes are good, the ahi tuna especially.Lovely service and attention to detail at every visit...of course it can get very busy here on the weekend so go early...

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Bonefish Grill after hearing rave reviews from our friends. Unfortunately, we left feeling underwhelmed and said, "Well, we won't be going there again." We arrived during the dinner rush and were seated at a small table in the center of the crowded dining area. The noise was overwhelming, between the sounds of the other patrons and the horrible light rock music piped in through the ceiling. The service was not great; we waited until half way through the meal before we got bread, and we had to ask for it several times. The food was the best thing about the experience, although it was not worth almost $50. We went on a weeknight, and the crowd skewed very much older than we expected. At mid-20s, we were younger than the average diner there. Overall, it was not a great experience.

Came here for brunch today with DH to partake in the Bottomless Bubbles brunch special. We ordered the calamari to start with and that was just meh. It was greasy and the squid was on the chewy side. The dipping sauce was decent. For our meal, I ordered the Surf & Turf Benedict and he got the mushroom spinach Benedict. The S&T was good, and I liked the fact that one wasn't surf while the other was the turf--each muffin had both on it. My only complaint was that the English muffins were a bit on the thick and hard-to-cut through side. I had a taste of DH's food and really enjoyed it. His mushroom spinach Benedict was so flavorful and garlicky and delicious that I made him trade me one of his! As for the drinks...! I started out with the peach Bellini and it was okay. It was a bit too dry for me at first, but by the time I got to the end of it, I could definitely taste the fruitiness and sweetness of it. I decided to switch it up and try the blackberry sangria. The sangria was absolutely delicious and I am now a fan! It tasted like a sweet grape juice...there was no dryness or an alcohol aftertaste. And it certainly packs a punch. I was pretty buzzed by the time we left and was glad that DH was driving. When we got the check I was surprised to see that my order was rung up as the entree ($13.70) + the BB drink special ($12) instead of the $19.90 that was stated on the menu. We didn't say anything because we figured maybe the S&T Benedict was a premium item(?) but we will clarify next time. Service was good and we had no complaints. Our food arrived pretty quickly and our drinks were refilled regularly.

One of my top choices in the chain restaurant category. Last night we enjoyed good service. A decent house Cab, for the happy hour price category and some delicious Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. Everyone loved their entrees as well. Mine was the lobster tail with sugar snap peas. Yum!

Not worth $50. Our waiter was very out of it and seemed to have other things to do. I specifically pointed out that I wanted hot tea ( even have our waiter the full name of the tea) and he still asked me what flavor of iced tea I wanted. He then left for our utensils when he decided we were taking too long to order- which were not already on our table like they were on every other table around us ( why did they sit us down at the only table not set up?). Anyways, he never came back with our utensils. We had to look around like idiots for a while before another server came over and asked us what was wrong- we told him we had no utensils to eat with( no napkins either while I was eating my appetizer, which was quite awkward for me). I had the Cobb salad, but I had wanted the dressing on the side. He even said he will bring out the dressing on the side when he took our orders. So basically the first 5 bites of my salad was great, but then the rest was too drenched in dressing for me to eat. My brother had the ahi tuna steak cooked medium. One, the steak was more on the medium well side. Two, the streak lacked flavor, it was very blend even after he added a lot of pepper. And three, his mashed potatoes were rather salty and inedible after a few bites. I understand that people make mistakes, but tonight was a terrible dining experience, and it was made worst by the fact that our waiter seemed to have no clue anything was wrong or how unhappy I was with it all. This is the first time in a while that I feel as if I wasted my money on a meal.

Ok I must say that the food was great. We enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp and it was bang'n. We decided to do appetizers for the dinner date. We had some pot stickers that were delicious and some stuff called cerviche that I must have again then calamari. We ended the meal with some white truffle mac and cheese, this mac and cheese is of the chain and I am no mac and cheese fan. Great start for a great start. Off to comedy.

My wife and I visited when they first opened and have not been back until last week. We were pleasantly surprised. Not a fan of the open dining room arrangement. But on this visit we got a great booth near bar and toward the back. Great service and food! Like the comfortable outdoor cushioned patio furniture if you have to wait. We will be back!

The rating should be a 4 but I will give this review a 3.5. My wife and I went here at the last minute the night of 10 July 2014. We had been out all day and at the last minute we popped in for a few drinks and something to eat. FIRST of all I have eaten at several BFG in FL , AL, TX and GA so it has always been a GO-TO place for us. As always we started with the Bang-Bang shrimp and they were great but the drinks that we ordered were not. For many years I have always ordered a HYPNOTIC Martini and I was informed that it was no longer available..BUMMER and my wife ordered a Raspberry Martini. Her tini was NOWHERE close to what she ordered and my tini was BLAH.........(her REPLACEMENT tini was minimally better.... NEW bartender we were told) by SEAN Q our waiter/guide and he was the saving grace of our night. We split a 6oz Filet with Lobster Therm and it was GREAT and we ordered another Bang-Bang to go along with the shared entree and it was "soggy" and a class down from the previous order so it was a mix of good and NOT-SO good but SEAN Q was cheerful, accommodating and willing to make it right....so kudos to Sean. Oh BTW it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we were celebrating so NOTHING was going to spoil it and we will be back at BFG because everybody gets a so-so meal now and then right?

The first time I came here the service was soooooooo bad including the manager Katie that I contemplated calling the main office in Tampa. However because my husband is a die-hard Bonefish grill lover, I decided to try it again. We met the most awesome manager Carrie and she was excellent and the service was great. Perhaps it was the day we went. Ever since then we I see Carrie I know that itll all be good. The atmosphere is good. We typically go before the larger crowd shows up. I highly recommend going anyfay of the week except Saturday.

We don't go to Bonefish often but when we do....we are never disappointed. Most people know about the Bang Bang Shrimp...and if you don't..please give it a try. I met my parents for a dinner at their local Bonefish grill. My parents were sitting in the bar area, which constists of high tops for 8 so parties share the table. Interesting. When I sat down, I immediately looked at the drink menu. The Hpnotiq martini caught my eye--Malibu rum, Hpnotiq, pineapple juice + glow!?!? I wasn't really sure what Hpnotiq was (and still can't tell you) but it was really good! I would definitely order it again. For an appetizer, we went with the classic bang bang shrimp, and one of the specials: Lobster Rangoon. The shrimp was delicious as always and I enjoyed the lobster Rangoon. My dad ordered his usual house salad however he was disappointed that there was no hearts of palm in his salad like there normally was. And he didn't think the citrus dressing tasted as good as normal either. For the entrée, my mom had the filet mignon and said it was tasty. My dad and I shared the Ahi Tuna Sashimi (from the appetizer menu) and another item from the specials: Crab Crusted Orange Roughy. My dad loved the Ahi but it was only okay to me. And he thought the Orange Roughy was too fishy but I devoured it. I loved the crispy outside and the crab pieces on top. The garlic mashed potatoes were also delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that it also came with succotash, which it didn't list. I'm not a fan and would have substituted it out if I had known. Overally a yummy dinner and I can see why my parents frequent this restaurant.

Ordered the Bang bang shrimp taco, delicious....add on corn chowder for $3, okay but not the best. Waiter was not very attentive, but it was busy so understandable. Didn't like people smoking outside as I walk into restaurant...bad location.

I believe I just found my new go to seafood spot. Can't believe I put this place off for so long. This was my first time dining at any bonefish and I was quite impressed. The ambiance is intimate with dim lighting and a pretty large dining area. Our waitress Anna was fantastic! She recommended a fish I never had before and assured me I would love it, and I did! The haddock special. She was very attentive and had a great attitude also, Unlike some servers who have the personality and enthusiasm of a fish (no pun intended). Everything I tasted was fantastic, from the free bread and dipping oil they give you while waiting for your meal right down to the dessert. My caesar salad was easily the best I've had at any restaurant. As I said earlier, the dessert was very good, but I was way to full to eat it all, I only had a few bites which were very satisfying. I would definitely return here again. Its always great finding new and awesome places to eat.

The line is was just to long and the hostess really wasn't making me happy. I'm a prego, hungry, and it seemed like everybody was going in after us and being seated. Food is good. But I wish we didn't have to wait so long. It was really annoying.

We always love Bonefish Grill. In our travels we have found consistent great service and food. This Bonefish was the exception. The appetizers were great and the service was pretty good. The issue was on the filet mignon. It was so thin and not filet mignonish. The manager came over and I said I could have gotten this from Outback. He said they have the same meats. Guess o should have gone to Outback and paid a lot less for the same meat. Disappointed.

Although the facility was crowed, we were seated quickly and were waited on immediately. The Bang Bang Shrimp appitizer was wonderful. Seating is tight and thre is a high noise level. Wait staff was informed and very attentive. Happy hour drink prices are reasonable and the menue has a varued seafood menue. The Ahi Tuna Tokyo style with jasmine rice and mixed vegitables. Tokyo style meant with a great dressing with wasbi on the side as well as a dipping sauce. A baked bread loaf is provided with dipping oil with seasoning that was very good. The Maryland crab cakes were mostly crab and delicious. The grilled scallops and shrimp were pentiful and very tasty. The Bang Bank Shirmp are $5 on Wednesday and that may have been part of the attraction as the cowd grew as we dined from 5:30 to 7: 00. A great experience and is now on our "must retrun" list.

Definitely going to eat here again after my first experience. The waiter was nice & funny. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is a must get (it is a little spicy). I had the flounder special and the potatoes as the side. (I forgot the names of it). Can't wait to go back.

I was surprised to find this place packed during the holidays. All the appetizers (including the famous Bang Bang Shrimp) and entrees we tried were bland and way too oily. The subtle seafood flavors were completely lost rather than enhanced by the excess oil - whether the dish was simply grilled or coated in sauce. However, the spaghetti squash (Fresh Seasonal Veg side item) was good. Dessert was just ok. I personally wouldn't return.

  • Tonya C.

What can I say? It's Bonefish, they're all the same. Pretty fair food and service. Their early appetizer specials are great since I only go here early - to go at "normal times" is always a 2 hour wait, no exaggeration!

Came here with a friend on one of those nights they have drink and food specials between I believe 3-6? Anyway, I loved it! Great food and drink, and the Bartender was as friendly as can be! I'll come again and try something new for sure!

Great foo foo martinis and loved the sliced tuna app. Shared the grouper w mango salsa and it was also fresh and perfectly cooked. Our group had several rounds of food and drinks and our service was efficient and attentive. Potstickers and a special sliced beef app were a table fav.

Haven't been to Bone Fish in a while. We had a large party of 9. Had reservation and sat down with 15mins after reservation time. Took extra long to take our order and just as long to get our food. My order was wrong which was the waitress error (probably new) and someone else's order was under cooked. Manager stopped by to apologize but didn't offer any kind of comps or a drink (we easily had $100+ in drink orders). I had the lobster Maui special which was good. Bang bang chicken was good. Overall, didn't feel the wait, service and overall quality was worth the money. Would not recommend or return.

I've been a longtime fan of Bonefish. Now that I no longer live near one, I can't resist stopping for a meal when I see one. I have a standard order of the sirloin (which is really amazing for a sirloin) with garlic mashed potatoes and a house salad. It was amazing as usual and as expected. The dressing was a little less flavorful than other locations, but still enough to get me through til my next visit. I couldn't pass up my favorite - the raspberry martini with fresh raspberries. They also had another drink special that was amazing (can't remember the name). I'm just sad I'll have to wait until my next visit.

Bonefish always does us well. My family all finds something on the menu that we enjoy. I love the Bang Bang shrimp. Just has enough kick to it. My son loves the calamari. My daughters tried the dumplings for the first time and loved them. They liked them so much that they ordered it for their dinner. My wife had the tuna which was excellent. I tried the Wolf Fish which also was very good. Being a Friday night, the place was crowded. Even though I had reservations, we did have to wait a little for our table to be ready. Typical Bonefish, very busy with lots of wait staff available. Tables are a little crowded and takes some navigating skills to get through. A bit noisy and sometimes hard to hear others talk. But it is a great restaurant with good food and service. Good for the kids too.

Am picky about seafood, have eaten here several times and never had a bad meal. Can be a little crowded, I RECOMMEND RESERVATIONS. Surprisingly kid friendly, too. Good service. Good happy hour specials (maybe that's why it seemed so kid-friendly?). Love this place.

We eat here often, and always have a great meal. Very tasty, fresh seafood. One thing I must say... After reading all the reviews on Yelp raving about this appetizer, we had to try the Bang Bang Shrimp on our first visit. I dont get it. Its deep fired shrimp smothered in a sauce that tastes like spicy ranch dressing. Personal preference I guess.

I had the best sea bass in my entire life from bonefish! The bang bang shrimp is brilliant as well! Mashed potatoes are spot on. The bartenders will tell you how to mix the drinks too. Their hypnotic-tini is amaaazziinnngg! Comes with a glow stick! Fresh seared ahi tuna is also another great option. Fresh not fishy!

I really love going to this place. The bang bang shrimp is awesome. We usually get the calamari and bang bang shrimp to start. Most of the time we order some kind of fish. This time we got the Rheas tripletail and the drunken monkfish. I prefer the monkfish over the tripletail but they both were cooked very nicely. Great flavoring and almost never fishy. The other thing we love about the place is their drink prices are more reasonable than most. The sangria, mojito black cherry and rum punch summer were really good. One suggestion is to make reservations because it is a loooooooong wait during peak times. Expect at least an hour if you want to eat at 7pm.

Atmosphere: The full bar and waiting area is right in front as you enter. For busy nights, spillover patrons can wait outside and sit down with their drinks while waiting for their table to become available. The dining room is large and tables well spaced from each other. Decor is tasteful and the lighting just right. Even though it is crowded, the noise level is bearable without being distracting. Menu: Click here for Bonefish Grill Menu The menu is, of course, mostly seafood but they also have other grilled specialties. Good variety of fish choices and sauces to go with them. The restaurant also has daily specials and a good appetizer menu. For starters we had: Wagyu Beef + Ginger Dumplings - handmade with American Style Kobe, pan seared, served with crispy shallots, Thai peppers + soysauce. The pan seared dumplings were pretty good and reminded me very much of gyoza (Japanese Dumplings.) The flavor of the beef and the taste was good - you could hardly taste the ginger (which is a good thing.) With the dumpling sauce, I enjoyed this appetizer. (What is Wagyu? Read More...) Bang Bang Shrimp - Tender, crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce (I think it is mayo with Thai Sweet Chili Sauce) More than anything else, this appetizer is identified with the restaurant. Everyone raves about how good it tastes - look at the tables around, and almost every table has bang bang. Catchy name for a good dish. The presentation is very nice! Singapore Calamari - Tender calamari flash fried and tossed with peppers and a sweet and spicy Asian sauce. The flash fried calamari was very good - the batter was crispy and the calamari was tender. It has enough flavor by itself that you really dont need the sweet chili sauce or to squeeze lemon on it. For Main Dishes we had: Baja Fish Tacos - "Cajun-style" and wood-grilled. Served with lettuce, mango salsa and sour cream. You get 2 soft shell fish tacos for this entree. The tacos are Tilapia nicely seasoned and goes very well with the mango salsa. "American Style" Kobe Beef Burger - Soft brioche bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, special sauce and cheddar cheese. Served with fresh greens or house made chips. The burger was ok - it was a little dry, even though I ordered it cooked medium. Next time I will order something else. Service - Some Good and some Bad. Here's the good - outdoor waiting area, and while waiting, someone comes around with "free" sample appetizers. Now if they only had an actual waiteress take orders for drinks if the wait is long, that will be good. Table service was very good as far as attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and timing. I was very impressed with the Grey Goose Martini I ordered - it was perfectly mixed! The bad - I made a reservation but even with a reservation it took 20 minutes before we were seated. After having our appetizers, our main dishes came out BUT we had to stack our own plates to make room for our server to put them down. I'm noticing a trend in many restaurants - the absence of bus boys to clear the dishes for the waiters. The food and atmosphere easily make up for the small "inconveniences" we experienced. I will recommend this restaurant and will return! jax-dining.com

The jury is still deliberating. Our last experience was not a good and I'm not sure if they have altered their cooking approach. The theme of the chine is wood burning grill. The Sea Bass was not cooked on a grill much less a wood burning grill on premises. I fear "Mike" was doing the work in the kitchen. The saving grace again was the Tokyo Tuna! Wonderful and one of my favorite dishes for any chain establishment. It comes with rice and vegetables covered in some hidden sweet spray which makes me wonder about some mystery in the kitchen. How vegetables have the sweet flavor is not natural and my curiosity is getting the best of me now because on our last visit the Sea Bass was very oily and general texture was strange. I will put them to the test next time and order the Sea Bass with out sauce , no butter and extra grilled and see if a verdict can be reached about the cooking standards and I will edit this Review. Hopefully, for the better.

I'm allergic to shrimp so you won't hear any OMG the bang bang shrimp is the best! Sorry no mam I've had the chicken and the kobe burger. Both made me full and had good flavor. That kobe burger is a huge monster and if your not a fan of a huge onion in your burger let the server know up front. I'm preggo so I can't comment on the cocktails that seems like everyone is drinking the two times I've gone. Once I get a chance I promise to give a full detailed report. This place is a nice set up. The bar looks like it would be fun to spend happy hour at. The servers are quick at doin their job. I l ike

What can you write about Bonefish that has not already been written. Bonefish is a solid restaurant with a good selection of food and drink. I will make the statement that if you have not been to Bonefish in a while they have slimmed down the menu quite a bit. I remember in the past being overwhelmed with the amount of choices - and that is not the case anymore. It appears they have taken most popular and gone with that as the standard. I think this is a good move as this is an opportunity to provide very fresh food with a quick preparation. This visit was a quiet night, service was very good and the timing of food delivery and readiness was on par. Would visit this location again.

Pricey but a great experience overall. The service and food were both awesome! I really liked how the music was louder in the bar area but noticeably more quiet in the dining area. It was nice to be able to have a conversation without raising my voice to talk over the music.

Three words: BANG BANG SHRIMP. While I'm not a Seafood fan, everytime I go to Bonefish, I get Bang Bang shrimp and eat every last bite! Their other food is...eh. The waiters/waitress aren't very friendly either, but, whatever.

Solid. It was a quiet night for Bonefish (a Sunday), excluding the bar. The menu is interesting with a spectrum of surf and/or turf. Anything involving crab is worth trying (based on what appeared on our table.) The wine list is OK with "by-the-glass" selections that par OK with the menu. The service is good. I would visit Bonefish again.

Great food, great service. The wife and I have eaten at Bonefish locations across the US, and have never had a bad experience. I guess the years of operating Outback Steakhouse has given the parent corporation a good jump off point for Bonefish. The Bang Bang shrimp are awesome. We get those everytime, and love them. I have tried making them at home but have not been entirely successful yet. Guess I will leave it to the experts at Bonefish. The seafood selection is good, and there is always something interesting to try. The mashed potatoes are awesome, and I love the scallops. The steaks are wonderful too (they are owned by the same company as Outback, so it figures the steaks would be good), but I try to stick with seafood when we go to a seafood restaurant. The macadamia crust is great on anything, the ceasar salad is tasty, and the warm bread on the table is always a nice opener. Even though it is a bit of a drive for us (40 minutes), we will be eating there again soon.

I was recently invited out to Bonefish Grill to check out their newly remodeled restaurant and try some of their new menu items. The new design is very lovely. Everything is low key and the lighting is on the darker side with some spotlights here and there, just like I like it. I visited on a Wednesday which is a very notorious day known as Bang Bang Wednesday! To celebrate this occasion I had to indulge in an order of Bang Bang Shrimp to start our meal. The shrimp were very fresh and plentiful. I was very surprised at the number of shrimp you get in an order. It is such a great deal! I also love the sauce that comes on the shrimp. It's not too spicy and very flavorful. We also decided on a second appetizer, the Maryland Crab Cakes. I don't know why, but I just really wanted some crab cakes. I'm glad I got them because they were delightful. Hardly any filler and were very flaky. I also loved the side of red remoulade sauce. That stuff is very addictive. I went a bit outside of the norm (for me) and ordered one of the daily specials, the Fresh Day Boat Scallops (sushi grade scallops on a bed of creamy corn risotto topped with crispy bacon, lemon butter drizzle). For starters, this dish had such a beautiful presentation. I loved the long plate with the risotto underneath. The scallops were perfectly grilled and the corn risotto complimented it nicely. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical of corn risotto at first, but I really liked it. My husband got my favorite thing on the menu, the Tilapia Imperial stuffed with crab, shrimp, and scallops. It's like the Royal Flush of seafood, nothing beats it. The dish is so wonderful on its own, but then they take it up a notch and add a lemon caper butter to the top. Delightful! Verdict: Liked it! We were very pleased with our meal and with the service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Even though it was very busy, the food came out quickly and everything was correct. One small thing that bothered us was having to wait for our table when we had a reservation. In our mind you shouldn't have to wait if you already had a reservation, but that was the only real negative of the night. Everything else was wonderful and we left stuffed and happy!

Bonefish has been in my bookmarks for a long time so when a client at work gave me a coupon for free bang bang shrimp, finally used it after a year waiting. I was so disappointed...that I didn't use this coupon earlier and discover all this deliciousness. Firstly the bang bang shrimp is sweet and tangy and a little crispy and oh so good. Service was excellent. I had to wait approximately 15 minutes to get seated on a Semi busy night which isn't bad. You know the food is good when you are eating it and planning your next visit back to eat it again simultaneously.. The seafood isn't bland I think it's just not over seasoned/salty which is good. Well done bonefish.

First time here. My husband and I had drinks and a few appetizers to share. The bang bang shrimp, beef and ginger potstickers, calamari and fire and ice cerviche. All was delicious we also ordered a side of white truffle mac and cheese. Oh my LAWD it was so good I could eaten a whole big bowl of this. My only concern would be why the server brought it out not on a plate. She carried the dish in her hands. Good thing it was not piping hot. This was a great first time.

Yum!

Seem like a hit or miss kind of restaurant. I have several good experiences in the past but last couple of times we went it was horrible. Our waitress pretty much ignored us, I guess maybe we had 2 kids and didn't order any drinks. The seafood was overcooked, I had the Salmon and it was dry. My husband had the Lobster claws which was so small, I took one bite and it was gone. Our seasonal vegetables were sugar peas, old and chewy. Will not be going back.

Service was horribly slow. Forgot our soups. Entree came out both dry and cold. Not coming back.

Filet Mignon medium, thick cut asparagus, great gargonzola butter to go with it all, for the price and excellent service this is a strong four stars.

Bonefish is reliable. You know what you are going to get and that's it. With the limited amount of really GREAT restaurants in Jacksonville Bonefish comes out with high marks. Bartenders are terrific and should be recognized for their attentiveness, abilities and service.

All of their dishes are good, the ahi tuna especially.Lovely service and attention to detail at every visit...of course it can get very busy here on the weekend so go early...

Not A fan.
