Good food and very nice people. We had a large steak sub, a drink, and a bag of chips, that we split. The sub had a lot of meat and veggies. It was packed. We spent around $12. We would definitely go again!

Don't expect to get a Meatball Sub after 8pm. First visit to this sub shop, requested a meatball sub and was told the meatballs were on cool down. Then they went on to tell me that they could build the sub and put the meatballs on the side so I could microwave them once I got home. Kinda defeats the purpose. They close at 9pm but it was only 8pm. Guess they were more worried about getting out of there then serving their customers.

Haven't had Baldino's since I lived in Savannah, I happened to be working in the area and noticed it driving by so I popped the u-turn and went back, they are just as awesome as I remembered. This is easily one of my favorite sandwich shops in Jacksonville my only complaint is there's just the one, if they had one on the Westside I'd be a regular, and if they were located around town I'd eat lunch there regularly as well.

Be prepared before you enter and eat. These subs are huge. So im accross the street the other day and getting hungry, thanks to Yelp, I could read reviews of the various places that I could see out the window. Decided on this place. Greeted as i entered, and decided on the footlong Italian Bastelion. Its pilled high with ham, provolone, salami, and whatever fixins you want on it, o and the bread is baked fresh in house too. Needless to say I could only down a half of it, the other half went with me to work for supper that night. Great place.

This place, really snuck up on me. I live in the area so I passed it many, many, many of times.They have been open a little over a year. The place always intrigued me, so I finally stopped in. Annnnddddd I have been a whole bunch of times since. Their bread is made daily, which really makes their sandwiches really good. The only cheese they provide for their sandwiches is provolone. I usually get their #9, which is just turkey. I usually add lettuce, provolone & mayo. What I always look for in a good sub sandwich is the meat to bread ratio. They always put on a good amount of meat and cheese on their sandwiches, take a good look at the pictures. I also like Baldinos, because they cut their meat right in front of you.The American Special & Italian Special are also good sandwiches, along with the Cheesesteak. Some of their side items are good to, including pepperoni rolls and the cookies. Try them out! The customer service is really nice. They like to make sure you have a good experience, whether you are getting it to go or dining in. The place is really big, tons of seating, all located inside. They have 4 tv's scattered around for your viewing pleasure. Most of the time they are on sports. They keep the dining area and bathrooms clean. We all have a list of our favorite joints. When it comes to my list of sandwich joints this place has jumped into my top five, passing even more noticeable franchised restaurants.

I went to Baldino's for the first time this past Saturday for lunch. It was okay. I liked my sandwich and the bread was really good. You can tell it's freshly made. However, I wasn't too impressed. I like my subs with a lot of vinegar and there wasn't much on it even though I asked the lady who made my sandwich for a good amount. Honestly, I would much rather get a Publix Sub. I also wasn't a big fan of the atmosphere of the restaurant. If we go back, I'll be getting my food to go.

This place is pretty good. The staff is friendly and you get a lot of food for the money. I can't really point out any favorite menu items. I've tried a variety of different sandwiches and have never been disappointed. I was happy to see a business finally take over the abandoned Huddle House.

Stopped in to get a sub after work yesterday for the first time and boy was I impressed. The bread was so soft and fresh. There was so much tuna on it, it was falling out and the potato salad side was out of this world. Will definitely eat here again. Service was excellent too. Only negative was there were only two people working so it took a while for them to get it ready as one was taking orders.

I started eating here when they first opened a year or so ago. It was a great place , prompt service , excellent meats and over all professional. Sadly the meats are no longer the quality they where then. And even the smallest lunch rush has orders being skipped lost or just ignored . The restraint is still clean and friendly but overall it's now a bit of a let down compared to what it once was, and just takes its rank among the rest of the box standard sandwich shops of no real stand out quality.

The food, the service - what a gem. Highly recommend the turkey sub with cranberry sauce. The menu has a lot to offer We had the hot Italian and a turkey sub. Home made bread was soft and delicious. Definitely worth the trip.

9 of us went to Baldinos for the first time today. we had excellent food and delightful service. As we entered the restaurant we were very warmly greeted, and as it was our first time there the guy taking our order was very patient as all 9 of us made up our minds. The restaurant was clean and we enjoyed watching football on their flat screen tv. The sandwiches were made quickly, every single sandwich made accurately, the ingredients were fresh and most importantly the food was good. I was impressed that the staff checked on us often, made sure everything was to our liking, offered to bring us refills and as we had small kids with us, the manager came by with some oversized glasses to make them laugh. Which reminds me, the kid's meals came in a cardboard vw bus. My kids loved that and played with the bus after we left the whole way home. I'd definitely go back again and would recommend this place to my friends. Casual, great place to get subs.

I went there a week ago, and it took about 15 minutes to get my sub. The line was out of the door, so I figured they were doing something right. BOY, where they ever. I can't think of any better subs I've ever had. I LOVE Publix subs, and there are better. I've been back a couple times and every sub is as good as the last. If you want a sub, this is your place -- hands down! I am using them for my 'Big Game' party. I trust everyone will love it.

I wish I could give this great stars because the owner and the subs are from my home town near Asbury Park New Jersey but its just ok the bread is really good don't get me wrong but there's just something missing in that sandwich if you're from Jersey you know what I mean try the Italian it's not bad it's just not awesome I think jersey mike is better but then this is a Jersey girl wanting a jersey sub.lol

I went here for the first time and the owner was working the register. I told him it was my first time here and that I was referred there. After asking him how many inches the different size subs were I ordered a whole Italian sub as a combo and a cookie. I was not familiar with their prices as I just ordered what was recommended to me by my friend. They made my order and I grabbed the bag and left. When I got back to the office I discovered that I had only a half of sub. I was ticked. I immediately went all the way back up there (losing the time I had to eat the sandwich) and told the owner I ordered a whole sandwich and only got half. He proceeded to tell me he only rung me up for a half and I said well that's not what I ordered and he said he could ring it up and give me a 20% discount. He told me the price and it was higher than what I would have paid for the whole sandwich. I explained that the whole sandwich deal is cheaper than what I would pay for two halls with one at 20% off and he didn't seem to understand this concept. In the end I ended up paying MORE for my meal just because he failed to ring the order right and the owner didn't seem to comprehend that a whole was $8 and half was $5 making two halfs more than a whole (example numbers). Won't be back due to the ignorance of the owner. With that said.... The food was good but the bread does get very soggy from the oils they put on the sandwich.

By far The best place in town to get a Sub!! The bread is freshly made everyday and The meat and vegetables are very tasty and fresh too. I used to to go Subway, then to Jersey Mikes, and Larry Giant Subs. I've tried them all for years, but when Baldino's came to town, I decided to try it with a friend of mine. Boy I wasn't diassapointed, it was awesome. When I'm working in that area, I make sure I stop in and get the full size sandwich, so I can eat part of it for lunch and take the rest of it home for dinner. The perfect 2 meals for the day. Keep up the good work!!
