My favorite place for Mexican. Never disappointed with the food or service. Family owned, and family run, just 10 min from Ave Maria.

I came here last night while in immokalee for work. I had the Mexican flag enchiladas, came with three enchiladas (one chicken, one cheese, one beef) and rice and refried beans. It was all very good, probably some of the best Mexican food I've had. I tried one of the habanero sauces that were in the condiment tray. I like spicy stuff and it definitely had some heat to it. Everyone working there was really friends and nice too.

Passing through en route to Naples and needed a place for lunch. Stopped here based on Yelp reviews and were not disappointed! Place is obviously popular (a good sign as there are several other choices nearby) but we got a table right away - service very prompt and friendly. I don't eat meat so asked if they could do a quesadilla with shrimp instead (it's not on the menu that way) and the chef agreed - it was delicious - shrimp were large and very fresh. We also had a steak burrito which was tasty but could have been warmed a little more - our only complaint. Decor is basic but spotless. Definitely worth a try if you are in or near the area and like Mexican food.

First time eating here and would definitely go again! Being mexican (and very into cooking) I'm always looking for food thats as close to authentic as possible, since I'm almost always disappointed, but this place definitely has authenticity. I had the chile relleno and once I took that first bite my first thought was that I was tasting my mom's home cooking! My husband had the steak burrito and it was so cheesy and the steak had that delicious grilled flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, service was quick and aside from the great tasting food the presentation was very appealing. Also very reasonably priced :-) Great wall decor with pictures of some of their signature dishes, makes you want to order it all!

Split Texas fajitas plate that was well prepared with no grizzle or fat in the pork, beef or chicken. Could have been spicier for my taste. Good service and hot food well received given the large number of patrons. Reasonably priced and great stop during a country drive.

The food is GREAT! My girlfriends and I stopped in for lunch after a morning at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Three of us tried the "Plato de carnitas" and the pork was wonderful, it was melt in your mouth tender. It came with salsa verde, jalapenos, rice and beans, and everything was great! Two ladies, tried the burritos. One had the veggie and one steak, they looked amazing and tasted as great as they looked. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive, the owner's son even stopped by to check on our progress. I am so happy to find great Mexican food in southwest Florida. I'm from the Chicagoland area and miss the great Mexican food you find there around every corner. I will be returning to this restaurant every chance I get and the Immokalee Produce Market (another hidden gem). Don't forget to get an ice cream or bakery item for dessert!

Food was good, but served cold. Service was awful. Had high hopes, but restaurant didn't deliver.

Best Mexican food in the nearest three cities... Really the best!! I've had a few things. You can't beat the rice and beans. They are delish. Keep up the good work EL RANCHITO! Then go next door & get a smoothie!

Great food! Went here for lunch all the time. First time I tried menudo and now I'm hooked on it. Al pastor tacos are terrific and I have ate all their breakfast tacos for once a week. If you're in immokalee, don't forget to stop here

Had a great experience complete with imported coke and big servings. Rather dive-y but delicious food and really friendly servers.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
