The food and service is excellent we've eaten there a few times and I'm thankful they also deliver. Our favorite roll is the yummy! And it's yummy. I'm so happy they opened a sushi place out here in the Redlands!

Everything is fresh & delicious, have never been disappointed. The Wahoo Tataki & Ceviche trio are favorites. The cotton candy at the end is a nice treat too!

Went here several months ago was not happy at all! 1st they sat me and my husband at a table where the ac was dripping on us, then they moved us to a table close to the kitchen area which is very highly traveled by the servers. The service was ok nothing to jump up and down about. Within 2 hours I was in and out of the bathroom with the worst stomach ache I've ever had! Sorry won't try that again!

What to expect? Sushi on Krome Avenue? Suffice it to say, not much. The food was ok, service was a bit of a joke. We were sitting there after ordering and heard our waiter dropping a bunch of f-bombs talking to the lady behind the counter about how he made " a $40 dollar tip and other crap during lunch ". Meanwhile he ignores us and then puts on his "charming self" when he eventually comes by and drops our food off. And I mean drop. My wife ordered a couple of appetizers and they were ok. I ordered sushi and it was ok. The joy of the lunch was watching our waiter meltdown when the people next to us left not a big tip - or so we think. We asked for my wife's untouched soup to go and he promptly brought us a small plastic container and said that he didn't think it would fit in there. I asked for a second container and we were able to get the soup in both of them. Meanwhile a second waiter came in and started bussing the table next to us and glancing at us in an apologetic way. I don't think our waiter is going to last long. We usually tip at least 25% every time - factoring in that a lot of the time off nights aren't the server's fault. Today the food was ok - far from great - but ok.....but the waiter provided us with a bunch of laughs to go home with and got 10%. He's probably bitching about us now. But dude......get rid of the attitude and entitlement and over yourself. Most restaurants have a great, professional staff who take pride in their work. Learn from them.

This place was kind of a miracle for me. I am a huge sushi fan and living pretty far south there aren't too many nice restaurants to eat at. I pretty much have eaten here atleast once a week since they've opened. My parents are obsessed with their special fried rice. I on the other hand have constant cravings for their volcano roll. It's just awesome. Its a pretty big roll, and it's extremely good. I also love their tuna tataki and their tuna tartare but it is extremely pricey! :/ The restaurant overall is pretty small but they make it work. The staff is all very young and super friendly. You are always greeted by a friendly hostess waiting at the door and escorted to a table of your liking. The owner is usually walking around making sure the guests are doing well which is always a nice thing to have. I recommend to anyone looking for good food and in the area.

Nice people but not the best sushi. A bit overpriced for the amount of food they serve you. Near my house but I'd rather go to another sushi place further away. I wish it was better I could almost walk there (but I wouldn't). I've tried one of their other locations and I was not impressed -__- neither was my wife ~_~ We can not recommend this place. -__- ~_~

Let me start with the Miso soup - bland The hibachi scallops - Ok on flavor but the japanese sauce was a huge disappointment, it was like using mayonnaise. And they do not have the dark sauce... so you are doing japanese hibachi and you do not have both sauces? There is not one asian person working there, the sauce is prepared somewhere else, that should give you a hint. The 2 stars are for the waiter, she was very nice and even though I was not happy she was a true professional.

Clueless staff. We arrived and asked to sit at the sushi bar. Well they have bar height stools at counter height bar so we had to move. When we sat down a waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order, at which point we asked for Menus to actually begin the process of being ready to order. Me "do you have any specials?" Her. "Why yes your in luck. It's happy hour. All of our beers and appetizers are half price". We order 4 apps and 2 beers. 10 minutes later our sever comes back to tell us happy hour is over and our food will be full price. Since she's not allowed to carry her phone she had no idea what time it was when she offered us happy hour specials. What??? There is a fancy new invention called a watch. Absent that, you could look at the clock! Ok cancel our food. She acted all surprised and said "well the beer is full price you already drank it". No sorry your getting $6 for the beer and that's it. Got the check paid $6.48 and left. No manager even wondered why we cancelled our food and left without eating. Too bad because we had picked out dinners already. They lost out on a big order and potential new customers in the area.

Terrible. The worst experience ever! My wife, our two toddler girls and myself are seated eating our dinner meal and I hear the "eff" word coming from a server who's having a conversation with a chef and two other servers. I turned to look at the group and a male server is thrusting his hips back and forth simulating a sexual movement, an extremely inappropriate word and action have just occurred in the last 10 seconds right in front me and my little girls. I asked the male server if he thought "that was appropriate", to which a received a very cool, "My bad". A few minutes later, I engaged both the manager and the male server outside and explained to them what had just occurred. We finished our meal and weren't offered a formal apology from neither the manager nor the server. Needless to say, I will never return to this place and will gladly retell this experience to whoever mentions this place to me...oh and we weren't even comp'd any percentage of the bill for the ridiculousness and lack of professionalism displayed. I strongly believe the manager should have fired the waiter on the spot.

Sushi Sake in Davie is one of our favorite restaurants. While visiting in Homestead we ordered from this Sushi Sake and had it delivered. They said 45 mins to an hour but it got here in about 30 mins. It was AWESOME as expected. Very fresh! The rolls, the tuna, and the fried rice were fantastic as usual! Not many places deliver to the Redlands so this is a great treat!

This place is next to a gas station in the middle of the Krome avenue, at farmlands. You would never think, that you can have a fresh sophisticated sushi here. Many Take-outs, we counted about 10-15 while we were sitting (5PM). They serve Sushi Boats for larger parties. If you are nearby, do not hesitate, sop by and enjoy.

Alisa K. is so right! The staff is clueless and I did not enjoy the food nor drinks at all! Anyone that knows me well knows that I frequent Sushi Lico because the food and sushi has flavor. Sushi Sake does not to me at all. This is the 2nd time I tried giving them a try and I'm so disappointed. First, I ordered plum wine and my hubby a margarita. My husband specifically told the waitress he wanted the margarita that was advertised on the drink special menu which was a margarita on the rocks. She brought him a frozen margarita and then tried to say it's not much ice it's only at the top (side eyed this heffa). I'm looking like FOH are you kidding?! Before I actually said that I was like look honey, I'm an ex alcoholic. Lol. That's a frozen drink if it's slushed. He specifically asked for what is advertised which is on the rocks so please tell me if that looks like the one on the menu. I didn't want to get like that with her but she was pretty rude because she messed up the order. Bish, that ain't my problem just get it right! My husband didn't like it still anyway because they used the premixed (I'm a drinker and smelled it and tasted it off rip) and did not add anything to it so therefore it was not great. Then, my wine glass was not even clean! It still had food from the last drinker as well as the their lip prints. At this point I'm disgusted. I had to flag another waiter down because our waitress never checked on us like she was supposed to. But he even was an idiot because when I brought it to his attention and told him that the glass is filthy he asked me "so those aren't your lip prints"? Bish, didn't I just tell u that there are lip prints and food stains that aren't even mine? Like wtf yo?! My Bobby Salad was not that great. Made me mad I didn't take the extra drive to sushi Lico to have my Tuna Avocado Tata. I was trying this place out being is much closer to me and I try and support local stuff but man forget it. They will not ever get service from me again! So sad that it could be a great place but service and food is not great.

I've visited several locations but hadn't visited this one in the Redlands yet so decided to give it a try. At arrival my party of 3 had to wait to be seated, there were tables available but had food on them from previous guest. Felt they prepare tables as guest arrives. Food was not great. Some of the rolls were rolled into a sloppy mushy roll.

Mediocre food. Shady ownership. Outrageous prices. Upscale sushi parked next to a gas station? Tried it. Won't return.

I was hesitant to come here because of all the negative reviews but I'm glad I did not listen! The Steamed Gyoza was a delicious appetizer. Then we got a Yummy Roll and the Ramen Soup. They were both fantastic and for the first time I drank the soup of the ramen! But wait, there's more! After we finished we got the check and an extra surprise... Free cotton candy! It was a delightful little treat and a very nice surprise. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us just the right amount of times. This place hasn't had a recent review so I made sure to include everything. I highly recommend this place! Try not to listen to the past reviews because they are severely out dated.

Cute place to have dinner...fried rice is the bomb! Good service

This was the first time I have ever had sushi and I definitely liked it. The special fried rice was delicious and filling. The sauce that came with it made the rice extra yummy! The spring rolls were crisp and presented beautifully. I tried the Miami Heat roll and it was tasteful. The prices for a Japanese restaurant is reasonable but it's worth it. It being my first time eating Japanese, I loved it. I can't wait to go back!

So bummed this place isn't better. I live a mile from this place and was super excited to have sushi near by. The food is good. That's kind of where it ends. We have now been there 4 times. Three times to eat in and twice for take out. Each time was as bizarre as the last one. The wait staff is clueless. Couldn't tell us if they had happy hour. Had to go check. The bus boy (both times we ate in) mopped w stinky bleach literally next to and around our table while we ate. Service was super slow. Both times TVs were blaring dance music videos. If you order take out you'll be hanging around waiting for a waitress to quit texting and acknowledge you. I hope they get it together. Not too many options down here

Had dinner here tonight and the food was delicious. I had the angel roll, special fried rice, and thai donuts. I also had plum wine and lychee sake. The drinks weren't too strong. The staff was good.

Not a bad establishment. Sushi was pretty good but I've definitely had better, and some of the roles were a bit undersized and overpriced. Stopped in last Friday night (5/9/14) for dinner and the wait time for the food was a little long for not being too busy. I'd stop in again, but probably not for a while.

We had a very nice, sweet sever! everyone was friendly, and the manager Jorge came to check on our table and asked how everything was. We had a fairly large party of 10 and i can say i was impressed with the service. Our bill wasnt as expensive as i thought it would be because we went at the perfect time! happy hour! the cute cotton candy that came with our bill was the cherry on top. It's in the middle of nowhere but it's a hidden gem! definitely going back

Love that this place is in the Redlands. There's not much to choose from as far as restaurants go in this area and this one is not only great, but has a nice vibe too. Food is delicious especially the Miami Heat Roll...yum. Even my kids were thrilled with their meals and they're not easy to please. This will become a regular place for our family.

The tuna roll should be called the micro tuna roll. It is the size of a dime literally . The tempura bagel roll was all rice as was the dynamite roll. 50 bucks later. This place really suck as does the service.

To start off this place is awesome! Called to make a reservation on my way there for a group of 6...by the time I arrived my table was ready. The hostess Nicole was incredible she was very sweet. My waiter Hermann was all that you could ask for in a waiter, he was very attentive, extremely sweet & very patient with my two year old nephew. Definitely ask for Hermann on your visit to this location! To top it off the food was delicious! The sushi chef Willer made an amazing volcano roll design that tasted delicious! I strongly recommend the pineapple fried rice! Even thought this restaurant is far out in the Redlands, it's great. The administration is great & the restaurant itself is beautiful. (Make sure to check out the bathroom).

The food was okay, but no Asian influence except for the Buddhas, there was no Asians in the restaurant. Spanish music playing in the background and blurry pictures of their food in power point presentation. The food was pricey for the quantity.

Really great food and service. The chicken teriyaki was just sweet enough, and the ginger dressing had a hint of orange. I'd take a casual date here, or do lunch anytime.
