We usually get take out, which is good. The few times we have eaten in service is a little slow, but not horrible.

Super poor service. Small menu. No substitutions. They don't even have a vegetable side dish. You either have to eat pasta or order a house salad if you want vegetables. The place was probably empty for a reason. many other better options in Homestead.

I have only been here once, but my experience was a good one. I'm not sure why this place has gotten so many negative reviews, but I found the pizza delicious. I got the meatball and ricotta pie and it was awesome! I know people have complained about the service but on the night that I went I was well taken care of. I'll definitely come back to try it again.

We have always had great food here. Since we have two young kids, we often call in our orders and pick up. But lately we've been braving the restaurant world a little more. Our kids are 3 and 4. They're crazy. Eating out is usually not so fun with them. But here, they give the kids a ball of pizza dough to play with while you wait for your food. Genius!! Service staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They have interesting pizza combinations, great healthy options for me (Paleo diet) and some great fried treats for everyone else (fried mac N' cheese balls, what??).

Great food, great service. Tasha was our server. She was very attentive and was able to fulfill every request. Portofino Special pizza is the way to go.

No longer offering 2 for 1 all the time. Do NOT get the Italian donuts. They are described as light and fluffy but they fry them to a crisp. Service is OK.

The drink I ordered, Blue Sky Margarita was good but I have better, however, given that this is in homestead I was impressed. The Hawaiian pizza was okay but I had better, although, on the plus, the tomato basil pizza was pretty good cant complain there. The most stellar thing about this place, I would say is the wait staff, they greet you and serve you quickly. The inside/outside of the restaurant is clean considering the amount of traffic they receive. The ambiance is "semi-classy- urban-casual", in terms of the decor of the interior of the restaurant and its layout, which is nice. I think, when I go next time, I will order the tomato basil, can't go wrong with that choice. This place is not bad, if your a simple consumer, but for me it gets two stars because of my capricious and selfish palette. I like to go out and eat foods that have radical infusions of different cultures or a twist that really arrests your tongue for a moment, I didn't get that here.

Stopped off on our way back from the Keys and to my surprise this place was Great!!! The place is beautiful and very inviting. Give it a try, you will agree. Joey T.

Wanting to try something a little different in Homestead, we decided on Portofino's Coal FIre Pizza. The atmosphere was a mix between a fine dining establishment and a sports bar. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in selecting the wines. She picked out a nice italian chianti to go with my meal. They also had a good selection of beers (Dos Equis, Yeungling, Heineken, etc) and specialty drinks (margaritas and daiquiris). I ordered the italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted onions and roasted garlic on my coal fired pizza. The addition of their signature 100% mozzarella cheese, San Mazano style ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, aged romano cheese, herbs, spices and extra virgin italian olive oil really knocked this out of the park! I'd definitely recommend this as place to try when you are craving something more than the average pizza place. Salute!

With a full liquor bar and a real brick oven, you can't go wrong. This place has some seriously good food. Their meatball appetizer could feed a family of four, it's like the size of a meatloaf! And their calamari is crispy, served with warm sauce for dipping. Pizza? Not bad. Some days are better than others. Our favorite involves creamy plops of ricotta cheese atop mozzarella, with sausage and peppers. So good. The pizzas are pricey. Their salmon is definitely worthy of four stars. Surprised they offered it and I'm sure glad we tried it. I like to sit at the bar, have a martini and watch a game while picking at the bread (focaccia with fresh herbs). It's a nice atmosphere and they have good happy hour specials.

So hanging out near homestead with the kids made pizza sound like a good idea. A peak at yelp found portofino with two perfect yelps. Gotta try it right? Here is the quick and dirty...pizza was really good but not great. I love thin crust but it gets to the point that it cant support itself then things are getting too thin. The toppings were yummy with obviously fresh goat cheese and huge peppers. The entry salad however was bad. Basic bagged iceburg with bits of whatever. I expect that at a bbq joint in Alabama but not a place with the look and feel of portofino. The booze selection was lengthy albeit a little boring. Not being able to get a full bodied draft beer with pizza is downright criminal. Worth mentioning was how great the service was. Very attentive and cheerful without being overwhelming. Impressive actually. All in all it's a good place and I would go back but a perfect 5?....nah.

This place was recommended by a friend of mine, and was it ever worth it. I started with their tomato bisque which was surprisingly good and it was accompanied with their version of focaccia bread made from their pizza dough and rubbed with olive oil and rosemary. I then followed that with a cold Newcastle and split a pie with my bud with half of it sausage and chicken, the other was their signature meatball. It was really, genuinely, awesome! The crust was tender, moist and had just the right amount of oil without being greasy, plus it had that smokey wood charcoal flavor that put it over the top. Being a brand new establishment, most of the employees are young and impressionable, but what else can one expect being this far out from the epicenter of epicurean Miami. As fellow Yelp-er "Flo" says.... "Tip-Bits": Order their pizza with a chicken topping, its not on the menu but kindly ask the server to submit it on their order entry system which is an option they have to select. The chicken they use is also coal-fired so the smokey rosemary goodness should actually be their premier offering but for now, you've gotta ask for it so don't pass up on the chance.

TERRIBLE Service, but AWESOME pizza! I mean, the service is really, REALLY bad! I spent years in the industry, and I was baffled as to just how BAD the service is. And there's a general laziness where no one wants to help one another. There were FOUR tables in the entire restaurant and it took us 10 minutes to be greated. We had several people who worked there walk right past us and never acknowledged we existed. Took forever to get drinks, forget about refills! BUT they have the best pizza ever so we will keep going back....

  • Jean Randall G.

Don't know much about the service because I got take... But the breaded chicken wings were over cooked, and the pizza was left a bit to long in the oven... I really don't recommend this place to anyone....

Portofino is the biggest disappointment in the history of pizza places. From the outside it looks great. You go inside and there is what seems to be a cool sports bar vibe. But, everything about Portofino pretty much sucks. The pizza is terrible. The service is even worse. I have tried really hard to like this place, but they keep on letting me down. Good alternatives to this place in the area are pretty much anywhere but here.

Combine sports bar, family time, elegant decor, impeccable service, excellent food and that desrcibes Portofino coal fire pizza! We enjoyed the roasted chicken wings, mozzarella sticks as apps! But my very favorite were the hand cut chips with that intense dipping sauce! I would like to purchase a jar now!!! The coal fire pizzas were all crispy to perfection.. But no one can leave with out having a slice of Smores Pizza!!!!! Intense!!! Hope you open one up closer to me on the beach....

Pizza....its amazing how bad someone can mess up a pizza. Sure we have all had our PIzza Hut and Dominos from time to time but we need to stray from those names. We need to start looking for alternatives when it comes to a good pizza. This is where Portofino Coal Fire Pizza comes in. I do however recommend eating in and not having take out because the pizza loses some of its umph during the ride home.

Great Pizza! I think its better than Anthony's. Try the Meat Lovers and Hawaiian.

  • Adrian W.

This place just does not have very Good Pizza. They look very upscale and classy. I had a take away pizza. I wish I went to Dominos, it would have saved me $15 and given me a better pizza... The place looks nice visually though...

The 'portofino special' with added pepperoni is the best pizza ever! It's the only thing I've gotten so I can't comment on other food. The inside is very nice and full of TV's, though I always get my order to go

I love Portofino. I have been here three times, and enjoyed my experience each time. They have great brews on tap(I like Peroni, Stella, Yeungling), and some decent house wines. Not bad for a Pizza restaurant. The service is always on point, and they are friendly. This is saying ALOT if you are from the Homestead area and have been to restaurants in the area. And for the pizza, it is FABulous. Everything from the smooth crust, great blend of tasty sauces and spices, and the wonderful selection of cheeses. They have a great selection of toppings as well that would even please the vegetarians.

Pizza is slow, I was told it would be ready in 20 mins, when I came in 20 mins later, I had to wait another 10-15 mins. Pizza is OK, better than the chain pizza joints in town. Very nice appearance, but, the price is too high for the finished product.

The company followed up with some coupons due to my last experience. I observed what appeared to be some new wait staff. Little slow to get service in the beginning, but the waitress acknowledged that and apologized. She was very pleasant and followed up on the order. The place was packed. Tried the Sangria for the first time. Pretty good. Kids enjoyed their dish and I ordered a large specialty pizza with meat lovers on one side and the chicken and spinach on the other. It was good. The best was my husbands baked ziti and we all enjoyed the handmade chips for an appetizer. Ended the night with a visit to Scoops for dessert. The pizza was a little under cooked, but it is a nice change from the typical! Thank you Portofino.

horriable.just horriable, i will never come to this resutarnt again.i had such a bad experience here....i never thought id miss Anthonys...the serivice??WHAT SERVICE??the hostess was lacking motovation(i used to be a hostess). i went for lunch on a saturday with my two grandmothers and my mother,we never go out like this.. it started off with the hostess, she DIDNT EVEN SAY HI. she goes"just four of you?" lmfao i swear! i was like wtf? no proper greeting?? with that that, i already knew this was gonna be a disaster...so,as she was getting the menus, being who i am,i said "HI,HOW ARE YOUU DOING TODAY?" i guess she KINDA got the hint and she said "IM GOOOD AND YOU?" with the fakest smile.i was like wow.... well anyways, the place was "ALRIGHT"it was a wanna be sports pub, with 8 tvs showing espn (Great,i leave my house to see espn) no biggy.well, the YOUNG buck manager was sitting in the FARRR left side of the place just watching.well, then the server, came, she was OKAY. AT FIRST.well,we ordered the coal fired wings and a meat lovers pizza with basil, the server disapeared for like 25 min, which was whatever, but then the food came.the wings came with the pizza?we wanted the wings as appatizer not a meal?but we over looked that fact, when we got a closer look at the wings they were burnt to a crisp.they were black..but we were hungry and over looked that.now,we moved on to the pizza, with a closer look, the basil?wasnt even added to the pizza like we requested then, like a magicain pulling a rabbit out of his hat, heres a waitress! lmao she asked how was everything, and i brought up the fact that the pizza was missing the basil, she said,"oh,i can bring you some in a cup?" i just agreed.my mother was pissed.she REALLY wanted it to be already in the pizza...well she brought us a little thing of kinda old looking chopped basil...now,lets just say that the basil gave the pizza SOOOOOOO MUCH MORE TASTE.i kept sprinkling it on my slice...well but before any of this,i noticed somthing, unlike anthonys, the waitress doesnt serve you yours first slice, cause my grandmother was holding the plate in the air waiting for her to giver her a slice lmao,i had to do it... i mean no big deal, but i liked that quality of anthonys,THEY TAKE THE TIME TO CARE. well i was okay, then for dessert i had some coupons, and by accident i gave her the wrong one.well the bill came..THEY CHARGED ME 2.50 for the little cup of basil!! lmfaooo i was like your kidding.i asked the waitress about the coupon and if i can switch it.she said"no i cant."that is so much bullshit.my mother had a enough, she started to talk to the waitress,in a poilte but stern tone of voice, and my mother insisted to speak to the manger. she had the ordasity to say " dont speak to me like that,i dont know who you think you are" my mother was being very nice actually.just being serious.well, guess then what happend?do you think the manager showed up?nope?butttt they did mange to take the wings off and add the dessert. what happend to "i cant" well then after waiting about another 25 min for the dessert it showed up it was just fried dough.lmfaoooo i was so happy to get the eff outta there.you know,i go out to have a nice time.not ima stick with anthonys.better food.better service and a more homey atmoshphere...oh and not to mention, the manager was super SUPER NICE.

Excellent place and great pizza. I think the best part is the great service. They really work as a team and everyone is super friendly and accommodating. If you're headed back from the keys and have a craving for pizza, this is your place! It's right off the turnpike.

A regular, consistent spot for us. Pizza is tasty, and service is great! I don't think the drink specials are all that special - 2 for $7.75? Needs to be simplified. Check out their FB page for coupons and deals. Parking can be a bit tricky, as it is situated next to other restaurants, and a movie theatre. Then again, can make an excellent date night stop.

Went to this place off of my boyfriends recommendation. Not a huge coal fire pizza fan so you can imagine my interest at this point. We came in through what I am assuming was a back entrance. Their were two kids in uniform sitting at a desk like area (host stand?) No greeting from them. Weave around the bar to the actual hostand and wait about 3 minutes before a girl comes over and says 2? We ask to be seated at a bar high top. Our table was more unstable than the sinking titanic. We grin and bare it while waiting for bar seats to open. We finally get to seats at the bar and our food. Lobster bisque was good threw some pepper flakes in there for a kick. Nothing to write home about. Boyfriend got an Italian sausage and mushroom pizza. Had a slice myself after getting bored with my food. It was good. Sauce had good depth and toppings were each seasoned well. Our sever Roxanne was present and attentive. My favorite kind of sever. Not pushy with sales, or forcing conversation in order to boost her tip. Unfortunately the bland soup wasn't the downer of the night. We got placed between what assumed to be from their conversation an employee of the clock and a regular. Terrible. Loud banter yelled across our meal and every server and their mother stopped to say hello or shoot the shit. Glad the employees believe in the brand and choose to dine at their own establishment however ...sit at a table. Bar seats are revenue centers wasted on loud employees treating the bartender worse than a customer would. It's tacky. All in all decent pizza.

Knockoff of Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza or its younger brother!? Who cares... The taste in my opinion is definitely better than Anthony's and the place has a better vibe! My hubby and I arrived about 8PM on a Friday night and there was a 15 minute wait . We saw two seats at the bar and immediately sat there since we didn't have to wait. Our server/bartender was pleasant and attentive! We ordered the small portion of garlic focaccia bread which wasn't small at all! It was 6 pizza slice-like pieces with marinara... Mama mia ::kiss:: molto buona!! Great appetizer to start with! Of course we had to try the coal fire pizza. There were tons of interesting combination specialty pizzas but we chose the Philly which came with steak, mozzarella, Monterrey cheese, onions and peppers. It was good, although I would prefer some marinara sauce in my pizza (pizza was sauceless but SUPER cheesy). The waitress was nice enough to bring me a side of marinara. The marinara added fireworks to the pizza!!! The pizza went from good to delicious! Since I had checked in on Yelp, I received a coupon for free donut holes. I showed the coupon to the waitress and she brought us the donut squares which were AMAZING!!! I felt like I was at the youth fair!! Doughy, greasy, and full of powered sugar!! Dinner and tip for two for $34 was great! We will definitely be coming back to try more of their specialty pizzas, calzones and sandwiches! Tips: 1.) Sit at the bar for no wait- first come first serve. 2.) Ask for marinara on the side since some pizzas don't have sauce. 3.) donut squares for dessert!!

I liked the Portofino salad. The veggie pizza is very good (I added cherry peppers). The fried mac and cheese balls are sinful. The prices are pretty good. We were in town for work and went twice. Definitely would go back!

Order take we came around 1030,we greeted by a very nice gentle man and ask if we can order take out and he handed us a meal and even offer something to drink while we waited on our food .very impressed by that .we order with roxy the bartender . We had order Caesar salad and the profino special we had ricotta cheese ,bell peppers and meatballs it was very good expect their was no sauce with the pizza . Which was little dry but the ingredients were very good and fresh .after reading a couple other reviews guess I should have ask for a side of marinara as other suggested . Over all we waited about 20 mins for a food to be ready . The price wasn't too bad . Oo the square donuts you get for free by checking in our amazing . First time here and I will be coming back .

This was my first time trying coal fired pizza. And honestly it didn't dissapoint, I just don't think that a pizza with just cheese and mushrooms should cost 16 dollars. It's delicious, but expensive. We had to sit outside because there weren't any available tables inside. We had to be constantly calling the waitress for drinks. The service wasn't the best, and kind of awkward. In conclusion, the food was great, too expensive, and the service wasn't good.

Cute little place. I only came here to pick up a takeout order but the quick experience gives this joint 4 stars. -Placing the order, simple. -Picking up they knew my name as soon as I walked up. If you didn't know I am famous. -She opened the box to show the pizza was actually inside the box. har de har har... In and out in a couple minutes. LOVE!

Wow! This place is awesome! The pizza is soo good and I have to say that I love it! The pepperoni pizza is really great! I've also had the Spaghetti with Italian Sausage and it was delicious! Our waiter was very nice and immediately welcomed us and sat us at a table. The food was also delivered pretty quickly and I went at 1pm on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't too busy either, but it was a slightly gray day so I don't know if everyone just stayed home. Anyway, they also do takeout and it's delicious enough that I suggest you try it once at least. :)

I had pizza and it was really bad. Uncooked, too thin, impossible to cut with a knife. On the positive side, the place is clean, nicely decorated, and service is pretty good. But do not order pizza at this place, you will regret it.

This place doesnt even deserve a star, first horrible customer service. I was out in miami for vacation and my husband and I decided to try this place out. the pizza was decent and the wings well i have tasted some way better. Our waiter was rude and slow to bring us anything we asked us for. And top it off he decided to write his own tip on the receipt, few days after i noticed and called the restaurant immediately and they didnt do anything! How can a business be run like that! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE!

We've been staying in Homestead for more than a decade. It's the closest city to Flamingo and Everglades National Park and it's always been a chore to find a decent place to eat. Meanwhile, on our most recent guided trip our guide mentioned Portofino and said their pizza was good and it was one of the better places to eat. He was right. There's nothing about Portofino that's incredible, but everything they have is done well enough to keep customers satisfied. The pizza is good, the antipasto salad is huge and it's affordable, not to mention being set in an inviting atmosphere with solid service. If you're in the mood for thin pizza and salad this is a great place to bring the family for dinner or come with a buddy and watch games and a more than welcome addition to the struggling restaurant scene here.

Awful service. We walked in , were seated, and waited, and waited, and waited. The wait staff seemed very unhurried, and some were standing around. After around 10 min. With no water and no check in by wait staff, we left.

I am originally from Chicago so it is hard for me to find good pizza in Florida, but this place is pretty great! Nice staff and I love the atmosphere inside, it is clean, looks nice, and is relaxed. We take out a lot and they're pretty quick!

I had spent the day down in the Redlands/Homestead area and when a friend from that area invited me to dinner, I accepted. He suggested Portofino, saying their calzone was delicious, and since I had never tried calzone, this sounded like a good option. We arrived as they were approaching their kitchen's closing time (I think they close the kitchen at 11, though the restaurant is open until midnight on Saturdays), but the place was full, and loud. There was a Heat game, making the noise levels even worse. We ordered the calzone over the phone, to avoid arriving after the kitchen closed and finding ourselves without food. We ordered a large cheese and mushroom one and it was ready when we arrived, so we did not wait too long for it. My friend noted that their large calzones used to be larger, and cheesier. I thought it was good for the most part, but the outer edges seemed mostly hollow, with the thick breading and not much cheese inside. The breading was a bit hard, and took a lot of elbow grease to cut pieces with the steak knives provided. The cheese was a combination of mozzarella and ricotta, and the mushrooms were the fresh variety, not the canned type. Can it be improved? Yes, I may not be a calzone connoisseur, but if they were to add more cheese, it'd make a world of difference, despite the loud noise volumes.

The pizza is ok. I've had much better. The service is probably the worst. It's hit and run with this place: I've had pretty decent service and then I think I had one of the worst service experiences I've ever had here. If they would fire half the wait staff and get some halfway decent people in there I would give it four stars!

Ended up at Portofino's Saturday night since we did not want to wait 45 minutes for a table at Chilli's. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and affordable prices. Definitely will be one of our regular options for a night out.

Went to Portofino for the first time and was not dissapointed. Very well decorated and nice ambiance. I made it simple with a Caesar salad and Three meat Pizza. The waitress Lindsey was very pleasant and did a fine job. One of the managers stopped by the table to talk about some specials and items to ask about. They definitely aren't just a pizza place, so I will have to be back to try other items on the menu.

We sat at the bar and our server/bartender was Adriana, she was great. We were indecisive at first and she recommended some of the customer favorites. Lobster Bisque - I love this sinful dish! It was delicious here and comes with a slice of garlic bread. Wonder if it is made in-house? hmm The option to order a personal pizza is not on the menu but we went with that option as I wanted a plain cheese and my date wanted to add toppings such as arugula, and goat cheese. They have a great selection of add-ons and the size of the pizza is perfect I even had a slice left over! Drinks were good and prices were fair. If you are in the area and craving pizza and a nice dine in pizzeria this is the place to go.

Pizza was surprisingly good. I was expecting an Anthony's Pizza wannabe but it actually had a good flavor. The taste primarily comes from the sauce, whuch is a bit sweet. A bit disappointed on the tiny pieces of Prociutto in my pizza. Overall the pizza is a bit overpriced.

Grabbed a take out special tonight. For $20 plus tax you can choose two entrees and get two mini cannoli. The boyfriend had chicken parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo and I had the Italian sausage and peppers on spaghetti and marinara sauce. Both entrees were warm when we got them. The cannoli weren't ready when we got there and we had to wait a few mins, which was ok. It annoyed me that the person who rang us up seemed to forget to return the credit card to us and I had to ask her for it. She wasn't really paying attention to us though, and a by-standing coworker heard me and gave us back the card. Overall though, good experience this first time around. Food was good and I have plenty (big portions) left over for tomorrow. I will have to try going there for dinner out sometime.

Awesome food and ambiance. Had the Italian meat Stromboli, excellent! A large can feed two people well. Talia was our server and she was great! Very attentive and great attitude, thank you for the bday cannoli for our daughter and the bday song Talia!

So I call to place a pick up order and get attitude from Im guessing its the bartender. I ask if they have a Margherita Pizza on their menu, to which she sighs and then replies, no. I then ask if she could possibly make one for me, so she says hold on, puts me on hold for 5 minutes only to say no again, so I then say, FUCK YOU VERY MUCH THEN AND HAVE A NICE DAY! First and last......

One of the best coal fire pizza places I've been too. The fried macaroni appetizer is to die for (if you're mac & cheese obsessed like I am) Great service & atmosphere. Perfect place for a date night with your significant other or a dinner out with some friends. Definitely recommend!

Pros: Pizza was better than average. Server was attentive and friendly. Cons: Check your bill carefully! When our bill came, it included an 18% gratuity, since we were a party of 6. No problem. We gave them 2 credit cards to split the bill, but when server returned with credit authorization slips, they had added an additional 18% gratuity to each bill. After much discussion they finally admitted their error, blamed it on their computer, and ran it through again correctly. I doubt it was a mistake, though. I've had this happen at other restaurants in the past, and coincidently they always forget to return the original bill that shows the deducted gratuity...until you ask for it. Hmm.

I had purchased a Groupon for this place cause I read great reviews about their pizza and I'm happy to say they are all true! I Ordered a small cheese pizza and fried calamari for delivery and it was so delicious!! Definitely way better than Anthony's pizza! YUM!

Really liked this place and the coupon they offer on Friday nights for the free appetizer doesn't clarify that it's only for dine in. I think that they need to add that bit of information on the offer.

Pizza better than expected good sauce The chicken parmigiana was pretty good. Had my order not placed two diff times while placing an order to go went there and had to wait but they pushed my order through. Recommend trying this place doesn't quite earn a 4th star though

Great pizza! great price! Servers are great! I've never had to wait here but that doesnt mean this place is barren or empty. If you're in homestead this won't let you down.

Worst service ever! Took almost 20 minutes to get drinks and food is mediocre. Don't waste your time or money!

Take out is the best option for this restaurant. It is too busy, too loud and they don't seem to have many waiters. We spent about 20 minutes just waiting for our check. Their white pizza is really the only thing I always enjoy here. Everything else I have tried has just been okay. they recently changed the menu and white pizza, and although I am not too crazy about the huge garlic chunks, it is still very good and still the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The service is always great , just sloooooow.

Anthony's Coal Fire is waaaaayyyyy better!!! Don't waste your time. Margaritas suck major reindeer balls and how are they going to give canned mushrooms instead of fresh on my pizza, which by the way was DISGUSTING?! Smh. This place is HORRIBLE!!! Anyone that says this place is good has never been past Cutler Bay, which means they have no taste in food at all! Get out past Homestead people and get some REAL pizza and wings and drinks elsewhere!

Went for dinner on Monday and it was not crowded, yet the pizzas took forever to arrive. Also they had run out of a few of the toppings we liked. But in any case, this is the best pizza in town, a must-have every time we come back to visit. Also on this occasion the had a special and we paid 2 pizzas instead of 4. EVEN BETTER! Yay :)

Was staying in the area and in the mood for a good pizza. I went with a regular cheese. It was good, not great. I would say 3 to 3.5 stars is right.

Place is pretty good, the pizza is good. I actually liked the non pizza items on the menu more than the pizza. Check out the Nutella pizza ;)

Highly recommended! The pizza we ordered was delicious, it was one of their specialties that included pineapple, bacon, and shredded coconut. We also ordered drinks and they where delicious. The restaurant itself is very attractive, especially for a pizza place. I'll definitely come back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
