What a pleasant surprise. Small family restaurant with exceptional customer service. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Ginger dressing is home made and the best I have ever had. Sushi was fresh. Entrees were very well made. I have found my new fav spot.

I was there today with the wife & ordered miso soup, bagel roll, rainbow roll and green tea ice cream. Serve was wonderful & quick. The sushi came fresh & tasted fresh. Carlos (sushi chef) never disappoints.

We were hopeful that this place would satisfy our Katsu craving. It did not. The Katsu was just ok, the Katsu sauce tasted like a bottled brand. The Teriyaki wings were ok but the sauce also tasted bottled. The Miso soup that came with the Katsu was not pleasant. Beef Yaki Soba was not good. The beef was chewy and the noodles were bland. Finally, the donatsu desert was greasy which means the oil temperature was too low when fried. At $50 for the evening, the prices are way too high for the lack of quality. Unfortunately, even if the bill was $25 we would not return. I've driven by this establishment for many years but was always leery of stopping in with the family. It seems that my initial suspicions were correct :(

What was I thinking walking to this place...This is not Japanese food. Ramen tastes like pasta soup. Gyu Don is like Mall beef teriyaki. And you the softshell crab in the scorpion roll is so small that you only taste flour. The only good thing is the conch salad. But the portion is small.

Small clean restaurant. the dragon roll was delicious, the scarlet roll was good, the katsu chicken was flavorless,I really didn't like it; they serve a huge portion of it though (two breasts). Everything was well priced, the sushi rolls were small compared to others I have had at different places but they were also pretty cheap. we went for dinner but if I do return it will most likely be for lunch because their " lunch specials " menu looked great.

This place is great. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left our service was very impressive. Great selection of sushi and nashimi, as well as non-sushi/cooked items to accommodate every diner. We started with an order of kimchee Ae with tofu as an appetizer but it was a little rich, still delicious but I recommend ordering a side of white rice to balance it out. After the appetizer we ordered the Ebisu roll which was very fresh, the Red Hot Roll (not too spicy but excellent), the Mexican roll, and 2 spicy tuna hand rolls. My wife and I shared the entire meal and it was perfect in portion sizes with still some room to try some more (or drink more saki/beer or dessert) haha. Do yourself a favor and definitely save room for dessert! The mochi green tea ice cream and the red bean mochi ice cream are AWESOME!!! Thank you to the sweet staff that welcomed us in and treated us like royalty. This is what customer service is all about :) We will be back soon for sure!

Came here with some of my bros because I was CRAVING Ramen. I ordered it (It was about 10.36) and waited until I got my order. It came in a pretty big bowl and in the end it was VERY delicious! My only complaint was they piled on the onions. I had to remove a majority of them. Next time I'll have to remember to ask for a little less. But overall this restaurant DEFINITELY satisfied my Ramen craving and I will definitely be going there again! The chicken Teriyaki and the Ice Cream Tempura, as well as the cheesecake tempura, where also VERY delicious and I highly recommend them as well!

Service was very kind. I will say that. But at the beginning, I found a hair in my miso, and stubbornly, asked for a new one and continued my meal. Can't stop, won't stop. However. I hate it when Publix tilapia is served as sashimi. Otherwise the food was just ok. Not worth running back to, especially after the hair. Lunch combos are $9.95. So, good value if you want to brave it. Just not particularly good grub. Won't be back. Sorry guys.

Nikko's has been my go to sushi place for as long as I can remember. The sushi here is always fresh and they have a nice variety of rolls. The service here is always on point and they know almost everyone who comes here. Nikko's is the original sushi place in homestead and in my eyes much better than all the rest. The bento boxes here are such a great deal and difficult to finish all the food. The California roll can easily be upgraded to any other roll, and the prices here are great. You really can't beat the price when you consider the quality or the quantity. They also have a pretty good Japanese menu from the kitchen compared to most places, and will happily make you something off the menu if you ask. Service here is always good, but sometimes it takes a little while for the food to come out. This can make hour lunch breaks a little tricky, but this place is worth it.

What a hidden gem! When we pulled up to this place, I was a little skeptical. It's in a small strip mall next to a Papa Johns, and the windows are tinted so you can't see in from outside. But when we walked inside we were immediately welcomed and seated by a woman who I'm guessing is the owner (I didn't catch her name). I loved that it was so small and quiet inside. There wasn't any obnoxious music playing, you could just hear the low sound of the TV in the back and the light chatter of the other customers. Sort of felt like we were dining at her home. My boyfriend and I ordered the tempura vegetables as an appetizer and they were delicious! Light and crispy, not greasy like they sometimes can be. We ordered the spicy vegetable yaki soba, and the chicken katsu. Both were great! The yaki soba was full of veggies and just the right amount of the spicy sauce. On top was a juicy piece of star fruit which I saved for the end of my meal and it was refreshing. The chicken katsu was a whole chicken breast lightly breaded and fried, served with a thick ginger sauce. It came with rice, miso soup, and also another yummy piece of star fruit :) I was really impressed with the quality of the dishes, judging from the way the place looks on the outside but that just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover! I loved that the owner was the one helping us the whole time we were there, and came out of the kitchen to make small talk with us. She was really kind and that's a big plus for me. Overall, great place!

You have three choices for sushi within a mile of Nikko. You would be doing yourself a huge disservice if you went to one of the other places. Nikko is great! One of the good things about Nikko it is owned and operated by actual Japanese people. The service here is outstanding, the waitresses are very nice and are always fun to chat with. The strip mall location makes it a little hard to find, but it is worth looking for. I always get the spicy conch salad.
