This is a great little waffle place in Hollywood. Better known for the huge model car collection decorating the wall and the owner bringing his Bat Mobile from time to time. It gets really busy on the weekends, but it is worth the drive. I always get the Belgian waffle with dulce de leche, home fries, and two eggs over medium. Perfect every time! I live far, but it is worth the drive for me. Service is good, coffee gets refilled often and food comes out as fast as one can expect from such a busy place. I will definitely be back!

The waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. As for the food, I don't think 10$ is worth a crepe. Maybe if it was around 6$ I would have given another star however the experience left much to be desired. My friends and I went around mid-afternoon, so there was only another couple there. My friends ordered waffles, while I ordered a Honey, Banana, and Almond crepe. It was a good thing I ordered a side of bacon because what came out was just a single folded crepe with crumbled Oreos on top. And crumbled Oreos in the middle. I told the waitress this wasn't what I ordered. And quickly it was handled, only for them to be out of bananas. So I requested something else. The Blintzes, since it said it came with cream cheese and jelly. What came out though was another simple crepe with warm cream cheese, and large strawberries. I borrowed my friend's chocolate syrup just to balance out the taste because the strawberries were sour and mixed with warm cream cheese and whipped cream it wasn't the sweet taste I was going for. At that point I just wished I had ordered a breakfast crepe, and I also don't think such a simple meal was worth the price point of $9.99. All in all, the decor isn't bad, and and the service was pleasant and quick, but the crepes left much to be desired.

Came here with a groupon to try it out. Food is okay not the best. I ordered cheeseburger with fries. For 7.99 guess it's not too bad with a groupon. The waitress's was busy running around. But she was nice and friendly and very on top of her game. We waited about ten to fifteen minutes for food to arrive . May come back and try the breakfast. It with a groupon because these prices are a bit up there for the portion size.

I've been here 5 times, the last 4 times out of convenience but hoping it would improve. With the exception of our last server Tony, no dice. I still 'can't wrap my head around' this place. It's decorated with hundreds of models of classic and racing cars but 90% of the menu is total chick-food. They even hold meet-ups in the parking lot for car enthusiasts getting together to show off their classics. The first time I brought my Wife they had the 'Batmobile' from the late 60's TV series roped off and on display out front, we check it out and then walk into a place that features Belgian Waffles (chick food), Crepes (total chick food), and toy models of classic/racing cars. That was weird LOL. The service: Every single time I have been here the service was substandard to passable with the exception of Tony as I mentioned, they were super busy and he was "burning rubber" (as the Owner probably loves to say) in his Loafers. One of the best servers I can remember ever having. The Food: I hate to bag on privately owned Mom & Pop Joints but the food every visit has been seriously unimpressive. I've had their Waffles, Crepes and traditional Bacon and Eggs style Breakfasts, none of which have been worth going out of my way for. If I had to compare or grade what I've eaten here it would be: The Waffles are good, not stellar. The Crepes not as good as the Waffles. And the traditional style Breakfasts (Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, etc) not worth driving more than 10 minutes for, believe it or not the rattiest Denny's has a better quality traditional Breakfast. Sadly Waffleworks is 40 years too late, they missed their calling. We growing teenage boys back in the 70's seriously loved building model cars and were always "starving", eating anything and everything that didn't have a lock on it. Pick up your game guys :\

I stopped by Waffleworks for two reasons, they were hosting a big car hangout & because I like diecast cars. After checking out the restaurants decor I looked through the menu & was in shock that a place called Waffleworks didn't offer Fried Chicken & Waffles!?! I asked the server & he said he could do it as a waffle & kids chicken fingers. Whatever works I guess. All the food was decent but not great. My chicken fingers were overcooked & my waffle lacked any flavor aside from the syrup I poured on it. The people I was with enjoyed their food but one comment was the grilled cheese was rather small. Our server was friendly so no complaints there. This place is on par with IHOP & Dennys food wise, but the theme is what sets it apart. There are diecast models of cars all over the place. If you are a car guy or car girl, check this place out sometime. I uploaded pics of the entire menu so you can plan what you might want to try before going.

I'd passed Waffleworks many times because I'm not that into waffles. Today I was craving a fresh tuna sandwich and fries. Sick of Subway, I thought I'd take a chance and check out Waffleworks: Firstly: There is a ton of parking outside. That got things started right. Walking in, the place is clean and bright. The staff greet you and allow you to choose your seat. The menu is quite large with a huge selection of pancakes, waffles, crepes, eggs, and other foods. Lucky for me there was an entire page of specials including my desired tuna sandwich, served with fries and a drink. Coffee was offered and happily accepted. It was kept refilled. My sandwich was prepared exactly the way I like it. The tuna was fresh and very tasty. The fries were hot and fresh too. The servers are super nice and the prices are great. I'll be back....

Hire some more ppl...About 5 booths/tables open n we are still sitting here after 15 mins waiting to be seated. A party of 5 that was waiting just left. This is why you need a Groupon. Get a busboy or 2 to clear your tables. Now the waiter is bussing....Surprised that staff still here..

9.00 for ONE waffle. Thats just crazy in my eyes. Better choices out there.

Ok truth is...nothing here is great, except the waffles!! 4 stars just for the waffles!! 2/3 stars for the service/other items. The atmosphere is ok, cars aren't my thing but I imagine small children (especially boys) being entertained. I've been here twice. Both times with mediocre service (although my most recent visit was slightly better) and I've tried quite a few dishes, most of which are adequate yet slightly over priced. However, the waffles are something spectacular. The first visit we split the almond waffle and I've been dreaming about it ever since. This visit we opted for the apple cinnamon and I was willing to bet money that it wouldn't compare to the almond, but surprise surprise, I'll now be dreaming about that waffle. Be careful what time you come here, our first visit was around 10/11am and it was swamped...long wait times combined with miserable servers. This time we came around 12 and sat immediately. Things to note: Look out for groupons, they're plentiful for this place! DO NOT get the eggs benedict - their hollandaise sauce was some of the worst I've ever had. Home fries have been different on both of my visits. Once they were great. Once they were pathetic.

Man was I so excited to try it! The decor is cute and interesting, it's super busy, tiny, and popular. So I came for waffles- my mistake. They don't even offer the standard strawberries & cream one that Dennys and Ihop have- which is crazy. You'd think coming to a waffle-specialty spot, they'd be pros in the waffle industry but no- such a letdown. Anyway, I ordered it custom since they don't offer it- a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. So what they bring me is preserves (literally strawberry jelly) smeared over the top of the waffle- not a single strawberry in sight!!!! ... and wait for it. . . they were OUT OF WHIPPED CREAM! It was only like 11 am- brunch time on a Sunday. You're killing me Larry. Also, when we walked in, we weren't greeted not once, all workers just walk by and ignore us all waiting in the tiny lobby- haha horrible. They're really a 1-star, but I do like Batman. My boyfriend got the breakfast wrap and it was gross. Skip it

Been here for breakfast a few times, when I go on weekdays I have no problem and the service is great but on weekends when they're busy it's a complete joke. Went there on Mother's Day and weren't even acknowledged in the five minutes we were standing at the door and weren't put on the waiting list, so we finally got so fed up we went to IHOP instead. The food overall is fine, what you'd find at most breakfast/brunch places with a few more options than your IHOP or Denny's, I've never had anything but breakfast though. I just can't stand the inconsistencies in service! Never know what you're going to get and it's really frustrating.

We just stopped in here after a couple years when we were here last. We just wanted a simple breakfast and we were in the mood for waffles and eggs, had some errands to do close by so we figured we could get in and out quickly. WRONG. We sat at the counter, felt like the chairs were about to collapse from under us, but saw that this place totally needs a makeover anyways,, we just came for breakfast and really did not care. Was pretty interesting sitting at the counter watching the small cooks window pile up 3 plates high with meals that had to be expedited out to the customers. Seemed pretty chaotic, but if our meals came out hot ok. I figure, this place has been here for a long time for a reason, and was really crowded with a wait for regular seating. The food really took too long to come out,, we waited 30 minutes at the counter, which I thought was an hour. If it wasn't for the chaotic kitchen entertainment, it may have bothered me more, but we just went with the flow. The woman next to me ordered a Belgium Waffle, eggs and bacon. Had to send the eggs back because they were runny , but they made good on it, but the Waffle looked amazing. I just ordered a #2 breakfast which consisted of a regular waffle , 2 scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Finally came out and was really good and was hot. Just took too long. The place has display cases of old antique cars, so suppose the owner is into that, had no connection to the place, so really did not get it. So we had our breakfast , was good, and left. The waitresses were really friendly and helpful and worked really hard, so did not want to really complain about how long we had to sit there. We had a Groupon and was worth it. Prices are reasonable anyways.

Its OK. Not really sure if this is any better than your usual IHOP experience, as the quality is about average. Can get crowded sometimes. The food itself of what I had were not that great, the omelettes were well done and kind of a strange harder texture, plus they dont have a greek omelette ... my favorite! There are several other options east of I95 for breakfast and I'd even suggest the Einstein bagel shop across the street is better. Now if you are here for waffles/pancakes its decent.

I give Waffleworks a solid 5 stars as it was exactly what I expected from a breakfast diner. Not less and maybe a bit more due to the ecclectic model car collection all around the cafe walls. We came around 10 am on a Sunday and it was not too crowded and we were seated within minutes. They also get my 5 stars becasue all the waffles they have on the regular menu also come in whole wheat with no major price change. Granted if you are having some of the cereal waffles, you might as well go with the real stuff and go work out for 2 hours thereafter! :) I had the pecan whole wheat waffle with a side of two poached eggs. Food was served withing 10 min and everything was wonderful. Total for my food and an american breakfast special with waffle, eggs, sausage & bacon was about 19.50$. BTW: The regular waffles melt in your mouth - very good!

I don't know what has happened. We have been coming here for a couple of years, but the last three visits, most recently today (Sunday 8/9/15, 11:30am), have been horrible. Today was the worst. J had a burger and fries, which was hot and appeared fine. I had their #2 breakfast, waffle with scrambled eggs, two sausage links, and two strips of bacon. My order was on two plates: one with the waffle, everything else on the other. The plates were the warmest things. The waffle wasn't warm enough even to melt the butter from the little package on the table. The scrambled eggs were old and cold and did not stir. The bacon strips were also old and cold, and clung tightly together. The links were just warm. The manager asked if they could cook something else for me, but I declined. J was going to wait while his meal got cold, or going to eat to later watch me? Hell of a way to run a railroad. We left. I promised the manager I would write this review and warn others. Once upon a time there would have been a line of people waiting to get in at 11am, but not any longer. We have finally gotten the hint and learned our lesson. We won't be back.

I have been dying to try Wafflehouse!! Well, the menu is really big! You can have breakfast or lunch! They have every type of waffle you can imagine as well as crepes!! I would come back just for the crepes to have dessert and coffee for another occasion. The breakfast itself was just ok. Maybe because it was extremely busy. The good took 15-20 minutes, which is Rediculous for eggs. I would come back another day during the week! Good place to bring kids!!

Sickest waffles and crepes coolest toppings and great service I recommend the baba dulce de leche crepe or apple cinnamon waffle!

This is a great place if you want to never be seated, never want to be talked to, never want to have menus brought to you and never want to actually eat. I sat here for 15 minutes and was never spoken to by anybody. Are you kidding me ? Nothing ?? Wow, never coming back here again. For what ? To watch myself be ignored ? At least have the decency to just tell your customers to get lost. Don't bother coming here, seriously. What an insult. Find an IHOP or a Denny's. They at least care a little bit.

This place is great. The country fried steak is really good and their crepes are amazing. It has diner style service so not too much talking between the client and server and the food comes out fairly quickly. I always enjoy the breakfast at Waffleworks. It's hard to expect more from a breakfast diner. Definitely worth stopping by in the morning and grabbing a bite.

Went here for lunch the other day. I had the butterfinger waffle which was delicious. I wish it would have included some standard breakfast sides such as eggs and bacon but it was good anyway. My husband had the oreo crepe which was very yummy. Service was a little slow at first but the waitress was very nice and made us feel welcome. Would recommend to breakfast lovers!

I love waffles. My son loves Batman, cars, AND waffles! So The Waffleworks SHOULD be the perfect place to take my five year old son to enjoy a fun breakfast over the weekend. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. I never like to leave a review based on one visit, I try to make sure I didn't catch a place on a bad day. So either I have incredibly bad timing with all the visits I have made to the Waffleworks, or they have a lot of problems that need to be hammered out. The staff is really terrible at greeting customers. There were a lot of customers waiting around without any clue of what to do or who to talk to. All the servers just walked by without saying anything to anyone. No instructions were given to new customers on where to put their names for a waiting list for at least 3-5 minutes. Everything is chaotic. There isn't a sense of leadership or management with the servers they just seem to be wherever whenever. It took ten minutes on our last visit to just order drinks after we were seated. Then, it took another 10 to actually get our drinks, and mine ended up being the wrong order too. Waitresses are hard to flag down, possibly because as mentioned, they don't seem to have assigned areas, they just go wherever. So whenever I had to ask for something I just tried to grab whoever was available regardless of whether they were our server or not (and with young kids you usually do need something at least once or twice). Please do something about your service and management Waffleworks, it would be a shame to stop coming. The best thing about this place are their waffles, they really are delicious. At least, I find them to be so. And the main appeal of the restaurant is of course the model cars, hotwheels, and Batman stuff in the walls (the owner owns one of the Batman TV series Batmobiles).

An overall mediocre experience. Service was slow and unapologetically rude. Took 12 minutes (so maybe I timed it ) to take our food orders. We had 6 people, and the waitress had to be convinced to give us more than one syrup bottle. The order was cooked in spurts and bits, so we waited with parts of our meals for 5-10 minutes in front of us before we could even really eat. My over medium eggs came out with egg whites so runny it looked like I spilled water on my plate. The one male waiter obviously could handle our table with his other tables, but no other waitress cared to help until a complaint was made out loud for us. Waffles weren't bad, but not good enough to be worth the hassle. I'll just take myself to Waffle House instead.

I used to live in Hollywood and would come here every Sunday. I love the fact it is not a chain. You actually see the owner working it. Very family oriented. Mini car collection as decor. Pictures of batman, and his race car driving days. Very cool spot! The breakfast food is very good, home cooking feeling. It can get very busy, and I do not believe it is open for dinner. Any wafflle is amazing!! Have a little patience when walking in and you will walk out with a smile!!!

3 people in empty restaurant + 40 minute wait + 2 messed up orders = 3 unhappy customers. We have been here several times and liked it. The classic vibe is nice with encased die cast cars all around the walls. These seats are tuck and roll and comfortable. And on previous visits we enjoyed ourselves. But this time it seems that they cleaned house and have all new waitstaff and kitchen staff. It showed. We sat down and had to wait and wait and wait for service. Then when we got it the food never came. We waited for around 40 minutes for food to arrive. Now if they were slammed I could understand. But we were the only people there. When food did arrive two of our three orders were messed up. We sent it back and they fixed it quickly. But we had breakfast food and were alone. We should never have had to wait like that. The food was fine once it arrived. Then it took a long time to get our check. I don't know if I will go back.

$4 for one pancake?!?! This is the most expensive breakfast I have ever had. Service was not that great along with the million dollar breakfast. $30 for a breakfast sandwich, 1 pancake and some eggs and toast. You could buy a box of pancake mix for $4. It's a diner, not a breakfast buffet on the water front. This place used to be really good. Not so great anymore. Won't be coming back, sorry.

Such a disappointing experience here today. The place is pretty filthy, I noticed dirt, pieces of napkins, straw wrappers, sugar packets all swept under the table. One of the waiters jeans were so dirty they appeared to have never been washed! The service started out okay.Took our orders and then we waited. Orders were half right. so back to the kitchen. The eggs were cooked well, sausage tasted good, whole wheat toast good.Best part of order was the bacon. Pancakes were not cooked properly on one side well done the other side barely cooked. But my mom's order was very well done both sides but cheap syrup messed up taste. Sorry we will not be back.

Been here several times, last time on 10/8/14. Had breakfast and lunch here, always good food. I really like the decoration and the 100s of collectible cars. Service is good, nothing extraordinary, but good. Menu is extensive and interesting.

Really yummy! Came here in search of breakfast one early morning with my boyfriend, we were quite pleased! The food was delicious and the service was great. We had the eggs Benedict where the lovely waitress suggested we have tomato since we don't eat meat and a Nutella crepe.

A typical breakfast spot, with average to long waits on weekend mornings. Corned beef hash was good, raspberry crepe was not- seemed the raspberries had no sugar on them at all, so the crepe was extremely tart. Fiancee ordered a cappuccino, knowing it'd probably come from a machine (tasted like it did), but it was also so hot he couldn't drink it for 15+ minutes. Service was okay, though it took a very long time to get our food. The people next to us who we chatted with were frustrated because their meal came out in strange intervals- one of them got their food more than 5 minutes before the other got half his meal, then he got the rest several minutes later, when she was done with her food at that point. Perhaps more cooks are need for busy weekends. Overall, the place is relatively cheap and not a bad place for breakfast, but there are many other places like it out there.

A friend randomly took us here. The outside of the restaurant isn't too impressive but when I went in, it was really cool. There was plenty of cool pictures to look at on the walls and lots of models cars throughout the restaurant. We were seated right away and ordered drinks right away but it took us a while to place out food order. The menu has plenty to choose from and everything looks and sounded amazing. They have a wide variety of waffles that can be customized any way you want. I ordered the combo #2 but ended up customizing it. I had banana waffles with marshmallow and I had an omelet with salsa, onions, cheese, and ham. It was very good. I was very pleased with the plate of food. The staff was very friendly and the memorabilia was pretty cool to look at. Plenty of model cars and batman stuff! Overall food was great! Not what I expected from the looks if the outside!

I really wanted to like this place. the atmosphere is nice, and the menu looks delicious however when the bill came they added 18% gratuity into the bill. I know there are tons of tourist here in florida and some do not tip but its not right to add the tip into the bill. I felt like they were trying to be a bit shaddy about that. when I asked about the added gratutity the staff became cold and angry, which made me not want to tip them. the entire situation was akward at best. I will probaby not be returning. =(

I would like to add a decent review to this deserving place. Sure, they were not the fastest but we were not ignored servicewise and the food was great. Just because a place receives a 3 star rating, it doesn't mean you shouldn't see for yourself. This place deserves more credit so yelpers unite and give them a try!

Management missing in action! We arrived after the breakfast rush on Sunday around noon. Restaurant was about half-empty, and continued to empty out while we were there. By far not a full house, and most certainly no reason for the servers to have been so flustered, annoyed, impatient and tense. The lack of management was apparent immediately. Whatever "issues" the cooks were having in the kitchen, were spilling over into the dining room. The only things that were being served-up from that kitchen were a whole lot of arguing, and a plethora of four-letter words. One cook in particular was responsible for most of the 45-minute long disturbance. After waiting way longer than a reasonable amount of time for our food, it arrived. I don't cook well when I'm pissy...neither did this guy! My son's apple waffle was overwhelmed by an extreme amount of cinnamon. Over-easy eggs were covered in grease. Corned beef hash and an omelette were passable, but over-done. The overall experience was extremely unpleasant. We couldn't wait to just finish and leave. If this owner cannot be bothered to come to his restaurant and manage it, especially in the middle of a Sunday morning service when his employees are killing eachother, he should expect it to fail! What a waste of a really good menu. Note to the owner: message me when you fire this bozo and get it together. I know there is a good meal just waiting to come out of this place, if just given a chance!

Ok... I've always liked this place. The quirky decor with all the cars. The huge variety of waffles, crepes and breakfast items. But however during the last few visits I have been greatly disappointed. The last few times I've been here they did not melt the cheese on the hashbrowns and potatoes. Last time I had a waffle here I was let down...they just slapped a mini scoop of caramel on one side of the waffle and didn't even add the whipped cream in top..I had to ask them to add more caramel. The last 2 Times the pancakes tasted like batter (not cooked properly). It's like there is no quality standard/control. On my last visit the waitress did ok...she kept the coffee coming and asked how everything was several times. Sorry to say But from my last visits here...I'd rather go to IHOP or even Dennys.

i had a groupon $6 for $12 for take out, got the supreme burger, had everything on it but the kitchen sink and came with onion rings. it was great, very tasty. everyone there was very friendly, the place looked clean, and smelled good. i was there on a Saturday afternoon, the place was busy but there were tables available. while waiting for my order i saw people at the counters order of waffles, eggs and sausage meals and i will be back soon for that.

I bought a Groupon for this place so I decided to use it for lunch on a Sunday. The watiress/hostess told me it would be a few minutes until she could seat me unless I wanted to sit outside. I chose the outdoor seating which conisists of a few tables in the shade. It took awhile before the waitress greeted me and took my drink order. I ordered water and my wife ordered iced coffee. She comes back with the drinks and asks me, "You want regular coffee, right?" What? If I wanted coffee, I'm pretty sure I would have ordered it to begin with. it took her about ten more minutes to take our food order and I ordered the snickers waffle, two eggs and home fries. This is where things started to get weird. The food took a ridiculous amount of time to get to our table. It's not like we ordered well done steaks! My wife ordered the eggs benedict with a side of fruit and it took almost half an hour to get her food. And mine took even longer! A waffle, eggs and home fries should take no longer than ten minutes to make. My waffle gets to the table and I'm still confused as to where my eggs and home fries are. I asked the waitress where the rest of meal was and she replied,"I'm sorry. The kitchen staff gets really busy and hectic on Sunday." Considering the weekend is the only time this place probably even gets busy, shouldn't they be ready for the weekend? The rest of my meal finally came and I told her it only takes a few minutes and I still didn't understand why it took so long. She kept apologizing but not doing anything about it. If I didn't have a Groupon, I would have complained and asked for the manager. Seeing as how the bill was only $5.13, I just put up with it, paid, and left. The food wasn't great, either. I didn't taste any Snickers in the waffle and the eggs were a little burned. The service was very slow and the waitress had no personalilty and I'm fairly sure she didn't want to even be working there. Save your money and go somewhere else or just make waffles at home. Trust me.

Best breakfast place I've been to in south Florida so far. Service was great, the food was fresh and cooked perfectly and there wasn't a single bad thing about my experience. The decor is all toy cars and batman stuff which I thought was cool. The coffee sucks but everywhere besides Starbucks coffee sucks so what can you do lol. We will definitely be back in the near future

The food is good, but the service is horrible. We've been here 45 minutes and 3 tables that were seated 20 minutes after us already have their food. This restaurant is poorly managed and they need to correct their order/serving system.

Great food and friendly service! I purchased a groupon to try for the first time and it was most defiantly worth it! I love all the model cars on display! I will be back.

Been driving past this place for years. It seemed that every thing that could be premade was. Not worth stopping.... Kind of disappointing... Rather go to Roberts

The food was excellent the service not so much. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was absolutely delicious. We also tried the raisin bread French toast and again absolutely delicious. The service was horrible. At one point a Latino male server was yelling at another server in the dining room. Bad form

The waitress was super nice .. THE COOK made me the WRONG Crape then the 2nd one was made without the Cheese. Waitress returned it.. COOK just sprinkled CHEESE inside. Was not melted.. Crape was COLD by now .. HORRIBLE ... thank god Waitress took it off the BILL !!! Prices are $1.00 more on all items more THAN Denny's. WAFFLES were not fluffy. It was my 1st and Last time !!

Why would this one place out of all of the places in the known world that make crepes decide that it is better to put the cheese for a ham and cheese crepe on the outside of the crepe? Do they think they are being innovative? I just assumed that they forgot to add it, but the waitress who seemed to think it was normal said they always do it that way. Shocking. Anyway the food was mediocre, especially the crepes.

Good food, a little slow but friendly. Went for lunch. Worth another visit for breakfast. Pretty much "diner type" quality. Very family friendly.

This place was just ok to me. The bacon was very salty and greasy ( not my thing) and my grits were different. They have a variety of waffles from snickers to vanilla pudding. I'm simple so I opted for the Belgian with strawberry and whip cream topping. Way too much whip cream for me. But the staff was great and my bf enjoyed his breakfast. Basic waffle and omelet.

Breakfast and Coffee. What's great is that the coffee is unlimited and hits the spot, but we got breakfast sausage links instead of the big sausages that we were used to. Nonetheless, quick, filling, and inexpensive.

This place is literally around the block from me. I've been there maybe 3 times in 10 years. And each time I try to rationalize that it can't be that bad...after all it's been open for many years, it never fails to disappoint. First the waitress, who seemed like a deer in the headlights from moment one...obviously new...which is ok if everything else is ok...not. I order one of their bkfst specials...no biggie, two fried eggs, oatmeal and bacon. My daughter orders 2 scrambled eggs with cooked onions, sausage and bacon w pancakes. And coffee. Coffee...eh. not great, maybe machine needs cleaning... i sipped at it. daughter barely touched hers. Oatmeal...fine. i added milk so wasnt too pasty..but fine, no complaints. My eggs...broken on arrival, with obviously pre-frozen out of the bag home fries ( which I didn't order) no bacon. My daughters eggs, burnt. I tell the waitress I am missing the bacon, and didnt order home fries ( thought maybe it was wrong order) she tries with limited English to explain her mistake. Sweet, but now I have my eggs, please get on the bacon. Meal goes by, never get the bacon. I eat my eggs, give up on the bacon. She comes to ask about how things are...ok, no bacon tho...oh...she wants to check on it. Look it's one thing to forget the bacon..it's another to forget after I've reminded you. I look and see my daughter has barely touched her eggs, to which she points out they're burnt..not appetizing. Check...and the cherry on top...even the pen doesn't work...the clicker won't stay down. I laughed out loud...it was the perfect finish to the meal....like how are they still in business...its eggs and bacon! maybe their crepes and waffles...never had them, never will.

First of, I'd like to say that I really wish I could give this place more than 3 stars but for my limited experience with their service and food, this is the best I can do. The service was okay, but the kitchen had two people working it on a full restaurant so the service was slow. I only ordered the corned beef hash, that came with eggs and toast. I wish they would've included pancakes so that I could review those. My mother had diced potatoes which were good, or must i say that the ones that were completely cooked were. I will likely visit this place again and try their waffles and pancakes and update my review accordingly.

Don't see how you can have 25+ types of waffles on your menu and not offer real maple syrup, sorry. Blended syrups with high fruticose corn syrup is more cost effective, and most customers probably don't care. I am willing to pay extra for having real maple syrup, i know it can be expensive, Waffleworks should at east offer it on the menu. Cute toy car collection tho!

Why 5 stars for a breakfast/lunch strip store joint? Because it's not just a B/L joint. It's a lot more. Consider: *If you just want to have breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc they got it. But you want gourmet waffle or pancake? Quiche? You got it. The menu is long and unusual. Me? I stay with eggs and hash browns but I have a large choicei f I want. *The Owner walks in, goes to all the employees, makes sure to give a light kiss, hug and handshake. Then greets familiar faces at the counter and tables. Also engages in heartfelt small talk but does not overdo it. His office is a small corner table in the dining area to be accessible to anyone, anytime. *Ever eat in a museum? How many people have you met that holds a long-time spot in the Guinness Book of World Records? The Owner displays a fraction of his record-setting scale-model car collection, wall-to-wall and central divider. *Staff is friendly, hard-working and caring. Service is fast. *I read one review that said the prices are high? The prices are comparable to any breakfast or lunch. It might be high for a fancy plate but it will be high at a fancy place too. I don't get the price comment. *Batmobile! The owner of Waffleworks and all these cool scale-model cars is also the proud owner of one of the original Batmobiles. Every so often he dresses in a batman costume and drives his famous car to the restaurant where he poses for pictures and lets people get in the car for photos. I was going to take a star away for the time I saw him on a cellphone talking in Spanish. That was so Holy bat-juxtaposition .... Lol jk. *OK, I have to talk about the restrooms for a second. Don't worry, they're clean. It's just to get there; you have to go to the Batcave. Dude, I am uncomfortable about the prospect of sliding down a Batpole when I have to go potty. And on the left it says Bruce and on the right it says Dick...OK, which one is the ladies room? Oh come on I'm just kidding, I figured it out lol. It says Mens and Ladies on the other side of the door. *This place has all kinds of Batman memorabilia. I have averaged coming here once or twice a week for about 8 years and thought that I reviewed this already. Seriously, I can get lunch or breakfast anywhere but the added enthusiastic benefits keep me coming here. Do-do-do-do-do--do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do visit this place soon Batfan

Came for breakfast with my husband for a second chance (after walking out the first time due to poor service). Ordered waffles with strawberries and whipped cream on top. The strawberries weren't fresh at all, and to add insult to injury, I ended up with abdominal pain, bubble guts, nausea; the whole regalia. I was pretty much down for the count the entire day. I will never return to this restaurant again.

Food was very affordable! Came out steaming hot. Ate in on a Tuesday morning so they were empty. Waitress was extremely nice and the cook made my eggs exactly how I wanted them (I'm very picky!) food was delicious! Food was not greasy at all! Definitely will be coming back!

WaffleWorks I think not.. The waffles are not working. My boyfriend was excited to take me here because I have a waffle obsession. We went on a Saturday morning and they were packed. We waited no more than 10 minutes, they have outside seating but it was raining. The menu is HUGE, the biggest menu I have ever seen. They have something for everyone. I ordered the waffle combo which comes with two regular waffles, eggs, and bacon. My bf ordered the same thing except with pancakes. I asked them to please not put the eggs and bacon on the same plate as the waffles because I do not eat meat. I usually give it to my bf. When the food arrived the bacon was on top of the waffle... Seriously??? When I told the waitress she looked surprised as if I had never told her. She then said she would take it back. I was afraid that they would give me the same waffles so I cut them, she was not happy. You could see that she was pissed. That caused her to completely ignore our table for the rest of our visit. My food came 20 minutes after everyone else was done eating. Everyone had a complaint, the home fries had zero flavor, and the pancakes were hard. I could've made better pancakes, and I don't cook. Finally my food arrived and it was nothing to write home about. It was just blah... I do not see myself ever going back to WaffleWorks. This place SUCKS!!!!

Good waffles slow service. Nutella waffles were really good and so were the oreos. The cinnamon syrup for the apple waffles was overpowering. The carmel syrup would have tasted better on it. Someone at my table had banana waffles and they were raw. I have been here twice and both times the service was so slow. Tip to the waitstaff: put everyone's breakfast on a platter and bring it all out together. I don't want my ice cream 5 minutes after my waffles come out and I don't want my breakfast after everyone elses comes out so they have to wait for me. I went on a Wednesday and the place was empty. There was no excuse for how long the waffles took to make and how slow the service was.

Surprising to finally hit up the waffle works i've lived in Hollywood for the last 3 years but we made it to the works today and i gotta say the service was cool, but the waffle's where awesome fluffy not a thick waffle at all . i had a turkey sandwich on a special french bread which was also really good. Tip was included on all tabs and the hundred of model cars on site makes the place really cool. my wifes breakfest was awesome , egg done correct with crispy bacon was all on point. i will be here soon enough and this place will run circles around the ihop less than 2 miles away.

Came here for a late breakfast. No wait and was seated immediately. I ordered a cinnamon raisin waffle and the home fries. Yummy! Crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. My niece ordered the oreo waffle and she said it was not too sweet...she is a teenager so it might have been too sweet for me. My bf got the banana waffle which was delicious and you could really taste fresh banana. The omelets are huge and are served with toast and home fries. Would definitely come back. They also have wifi.

Well, just this morning (a Saturday - and they were pretty busy) we had outstanding service and great food! It was our first time, and Waffleworks is now at the top of our list of breakfast/brunch options in the area. Service was fast, attentive and friendly - so either they were having a bad spell, or took note and improved. Seriously, it couldn't have been better. Our food was out fast, coffee was hot and ever ran out, and everyone was great. As for food, my wife had the Almond waffle. She's a waffle connoisseur and said it was one of the best she ever had. I had the Cinnamon with pecans and thought it was great - crispy and full of whole pecans. As a bonus, the model cars are fascinating - great for kids - and photos of the owner (who owns one of the ORIGINAL Batmobiles) are fun. Anyway, I'd seriously recommend giving it a try. Our experience couldn't have been more different from some others here.

Why go to some chain restaurant when you can go to a cool and personal place like this? Apples waffles and bananas waffles are ridiculously good.

Save your time/money & go to IHOP down the street. I went here early on Sunday around 9AM. We were seated right away and were left to explore the menu. We were left a bit too long but we finally were able to get our order in. I ordered the works which came with 3 pancakes, 3 eggs and 3 sausage. My friend ordered a 3 egg omelet. For so few people to have been in the restaurant it took a bit longer than expected to get our food but we stayed amused with the car collection. Our food finally came and to my surprise the pancakes were really undercooked and flat. The thing that made me so livid is that someone was seated next to us and they ordered pancakes as well. Their pancakes came out looking so fluffy and delicious. Inconsistent service bothers me. The rest of the food was sub-par and so was the service. My water glass was never refilled. And the waiter only came over to offer the check. We practically had to flag him down if we needed something. That's not all though. When it came time to pay I was shorted in my change. I basically had to argue to get the correct amount of change as they don't give you receipts when you leave. Just save your time and money and make breakfast at home.

Honestly, REALLY bad service. We waited 30 mins to sit down when it wasn't even that busy, and then 45 minutes for food that never came. We saw people multiple seatings behind us (like came in 15 mins later get their food. The waitress never came to apologize or tell us the issue. And we weren't the only ones. 2 OTHER groups got up and left without eating. Horrendous. This is NOT rocket science-its eggs and waffles. Oh-and best part, one of the servers was sick, and kept rubbing his nose with his hands. Awesome.

if you're craving waffles & dessert together, then you've come to the right place. however, that's the only reason i'd recommend going here. i had breakfast here this morning with my boyfriend. after skimming through the menu, i realized it was just a smidge pricey. $7 for fancy waffles with NO eggs, bacon or anything included. if you want extra toppings, $2.25. maybe i'm just a cheapo, but that's kind of outrageous to me. boyfriend & i ended up sharing a Combo #4 (i think) of eggs, toast, home fries, bacon & sausage. i got a regular classic waffle & he ordered the dulce de leche belgian waffle. the food was pretty good, but nothing to rave about. on the other hand, boyfriend LOVED his belgian waffle. that thing was huge too. i took a bite & found it to be too sweet for my liking as a breakfast meal. we spent a little over $20 together. i think of it as a more expensive version of waffle house. if you enjoy your breakfast sans chocolate syrup oreos & marshmallow, then try somewhere else. if this place opened til late night, i guarantee i'd be visiting it a lot more to satisfy a late night craving. oh & service was good. our waitress was really sweet & attentive. didn't catch her name, though. & the whole miniature model cars display case looked out of place to me.

I went here as a result of the reviews but really was just OK. The waffles were exactly what you'd make at home nothing special. Service again was just OK so if you need breakfast & in the area go but just don't expect too much!

Having seen the Waffleworks commercial on television a million times I finally folded and decided to check it out. We were nearly the first people there on a Saturday morning and thought this place might be a dive, but it got progressively busier during our breakfast. As advertised on television they do host a fairly large collection of model cars. I was hoping to see the Bat Mobile parked out front; unfortunately this was not the case. After going through the lengthily menu I ordered an Oreo Cookie Waffle, 2 scrambled eggs, sausage and orange juice. The orange juice came from a 1 gallon mike-like bottle and the sausage seemed very Jimmy Dean. With a name like Waffleworks, you'd think they make a mean waffle. My waffle wasn't that fabulous. I was kind of hoping a special Oreo Cookie batter, instead it seemed like they sprinkled in the Oreo crumbs before cooking so the waffle wasn't necessarily infused with Oreo goodness The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I personally wasn't wild about my food. Perhaps it's the sagging economy taking its toll on this small establishment. We'll have to do a follow-up visit to try some other menu items in the future.

All kind of waffels here, but not really that great.

The food is pretty good. The biggest problem I had were the prices. A cup of orange juice was like 3 dollars and the waffles were good but the additional toppings were about 3 dollars on top of the original price. For me and my dad we paid like $35.00 for a quick breakfast and I was livid!!!

Original breakfast spot. If you want wacky waffles like cocoa puff waffles or deliciously outrageous toppings like bananas and dulce de leche then definitely come here! They also have the usual eggs, pancakes, etc.... I have to say the service is a bit slow at times but what breakfast spot isn't? I still love & recommend this place! In three words: "wacky breakfast waffles!"

dirty. staff was eating food and then serving food without washing hands first. our server was coughing in his hands and hovering over our plates as he was waiting for the rest of the order from the cooks. the strawberries on top of the waffles had no color and were clearly old. disappointing in taste, cleanliness and service. drive five miles from the beach to try this place out. and now I am headed to Starbucks for a real cup of coffee.
