Fine dining it's not..and the menu has some glaring ommisions..like no sashimi...and forget the fine china..(japan?)..and the napkins are paper..and you get on a single line to order, pay and they give you a number and you sit down at a deuce..all of which have bench seats against a wall and chairs on the other side..No prob . As we were 15 we shoved a bunch of deuces together....and then realized those on the bench side would have a biiig slide..so we separated a couple tables...and by that time, no more than 10 minutes later, food drinks and salads started arriving and kept coming and it was GOOD...and as a few Yelpers already said, CHEAP..I mean a portion of steak teriaki with veggies and cooked perfectly rare as I requested and more than I could finish was only $7.50.. and most rolls around $4-5 ...and delicious fresh and large baby green salads with yummy ginger dressing only $3.00..and sushi pieces..verrry reasonable and free and plentiful parking right on Young Circle and the staff was welcoming very efficient and friendly...and there's a coupon ... coupons.browardpalmbeach… ...good for 20% off that EACH person could use.good through April 30,2014 and not just one to a table which made dinner prices almost ridiculous freeing up more money for Wet Willies later on..Whoops..'nuther review. ...And really, the only thing I didn't like was the mound of fried rice that came with the dinner. Bland and uninteresting..So..to complete the worlds longest sentence, if you're in the neighborhood and looking for quick, not fancy, and much more than decent than go. ..go. and call me..I'll meetcha there! Oh..that teryaki never made it home with me. Stopped at Racetrack for coffee..and there were two..then three.then four hungry little kittens that made short work of it. Even the broccoli. Amazing!

I have mixed feelings about the place. I really want to give it two and a half stars. Food is decent for the price. Nothing great but not terrible either. They don't skimp on the veggies which is nice but the shrimp are small and the steak was a little fatty. If your not familiar with downtown Hollyweird, it's in the sketchiest plaza where the homeless hang out. It has a buffet now which is new. They serve hibachi, chinese & sushi. It's cheap cheap. I think the most expensive thing on the menu is $10. My son & I ate for $20 and we had it all, including egg rolls, soup, green tea and we still had leftovers. It's hit or miss & there are certainly much better places to try in the area.

Just noticed Tokyo Grill opend and stopped by for lunch. I had the Calif. Roll (on special for $1.99) which was pretty good. And the chicken yakasoba . My bad I assumed soba noodle not just japanese noodles which it says on the menu. The portion was Hugh but about 20% of the chicken was hard and dry (not burt) The sauce was pretty much tasteless a hint of terriakki sauce and brown sauce. but mostly Oil! I HAVE HAD MY SHARE OF GREASY NOODLE DISHES IN MY DAY BUT THIS WAS THE OILIEST! i THINK IT WAS DONE ON A FLAT TOP. I have a blurry picture near the end of the meal you can see the oil shine!

Tokyo Grill's dining experience is pretty much summed up as sub-par Japanese in a pitch-black maze (think Liberty Science Center's touch tunnel). Y'all nerds from Jersey will feel me on that one, but alas, here's to sushi --- in the dark!

Giving this place 5 stars simple because the food is cheap, restaurant is clean, and staff is speedy. This is NOT the kind of place to dress up and go eat at, it is more of a quick grab and go! I've been here about ten times since they opened and I've always ordered the same thing, shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp tempura with avocado and cream cheese. This place also offers delivery and not to mention they're so cheap! Love it. I hope this place stays in business, can't get enough of their affordable sushi.

I was a loyal customer to this restaurant. Unfortunately after replacing a lot of the staff the food is terrible. And the service is worse. The people don't care. We ordered the Thai dynamite and there was someone's hair in the dish. Tried calling the restaurant however no one answered the number provided. Bring back the old staff! I won't be returning.

Ordered two chicken teriyaki bowls, a miso soup and the dumpling soup. The soups were great! The chicken teriyaki bowls were nasty. The brown rice was undercooked and the chicken made me question it's authenticity.

I don't have anything extremely great to say about this place but "yay! I'm a fan." because the food is a little better than decent (with good portions) and the prices are rock bottom. If you want a cheap, pretty good meal, than this is the place to go. Unlike other reviewers, I've never had any issues with their service. You walk up to the counter to order your food & sit down to wait. They usually bring your food pretty quickly. The place is clean and decorated simply, nothing over the top. They also have a t.v. which usually has the news on. I hope they stay in business (it seems like nothing in Hollywood ever lasts) because it's a good place to stop for lunch when you're on a tight budget.

I used to love tokyo grill. I live a good 30 minutes away from this certain location (only location now that the one in lauderhill closed) and I always make the drive to go here. Their food under the old management was amazing and cheap. Everything was cooked in the kitchen and the wait was maybe 10-15 minutes but worth the wait. The new management has gotten rid of the cooking and has made it some odd Buffet. They could have literally done everything but they took the one thing on the menu that even made their restaurant worth going to for cold sushi and orange chicken? I could go to the food court and get it for 3$ cheaper tbh. Sorry to see you go, tokyo grill. It's been real.

Its ok, simple in appearance, you can sit in or take out its designed like a fast food restaurant to me. The big difference is the dinning room does look much cleaner than average fast food joint. I ordered salmon and chicken the portions hardly fair and the brown rice not fresh.

I came for the first time today with my kids and its "just ok" we ordered the Mongolian beef and the steak was soft and chewy asked for it spicy and it was not. The fried rice tasted and looked like the rice roni fried rice, did not seem home made. We ordered wonton soup and hot and sour. The soups were very good. Something you would get from a mall food court. The staff were friendly but seemed like they could care less if we stayed or not. Place is pretty and clean. Menu is up to date and LED screens. Basically this fills the void.

I hate the staff here. Food is ok if you are alright with food court food and you can get it with their $2.99 coupon. I always feel like an idiot when I come into this restaurant because the staff does not acknowledge me and leaves me standing there wondering if anyone will ever take my order. The last time I went there I walked out after several minutes of being ignored. I have no idea why the staff is so indifferent being that the place is usually empty. My prediction is by this time next year they will be out of business.

Well, I have been here many times and always thought the food was very good...just went there this afternoon to get some lunch to go. While I was waiting for my order to be completed another customer came in placed an order , paid with cash that the cashier handled, he then went right on continuing to make my rolls with the same gloves on!!! Told him to stop and give me my money back....too bad cause I really liked this place but that is nasty!!
