Absolutely perfect: location, terrace, service, food, drinks. I've been there for lunch and dinner several times, and enjoyed it all. A beautiful view of the beach, especially in the evening, excellent Singha beer, and everything I ordered--pad thai, green curry, raw tuna salad, tempura plate (very big), sashimi, miso soup--was simply perfect. I had three different servers and all of them were super helpful and very polite. Service is prompt. I highly recommend.

Excellent Thai food! We usually get thai at any restaurant that offers both (thai & jap) as it is a sure bet they are using sushi to bring in customers. Their tom yum soup is really good, we had pad thai and it was perfect and their tamarind crispy duck is amazing! A secret jewel!!!

Greeted with excuses as to why we could not order lunch. By the time the waiter was done making excuses, he put us at "2:44pm" which he said was too late to order lunch portions even though their UN published "last call" is at 2:45pm.

I'm sad to say that for a beach front establishment this place is terribly inhospitable to beach goers. My wife, who was wearing a sarong over her bikini was insulted by the extremely rude wait staff for supposedly being disrespectful to their establishment by not being more covered up than she already was, nothing but her shoulders and arms showing. When we asked to speak to the manager about the servers disgusting behavior towards us we were call stupid. Then when the manager finally did come out to speak with us he was also exceptionally rude, dismissive, and actually tried to instigate a physical altercation with me. Consider yourself warned, this place is by far the worst establishment on Hollywood Beach. If you have a problem with anything you may as well just get up and leave before they spit in your food or in your face.

Love the food. So fresh. NEVER had a poor dish. Service great. Look forward to the meal every time.

Absolutely worse service I have ever had. The people messed up the order twice and still tried to charge us even though we stated we didn't want the food. After fifteen minutes of back and forth we finally left. The some employee chased us down and demanded the receipt. After we pulled it the receipt out he tried to rip it out of our hands. Out of a woman's hand to be exact. After we gave it to him he ran away telling at us to never come back. Never have I been treated so rudely. Also the food was horrible. Oh and lastly they still added 18% tip. Safe to say American Express will be putting a stop to this.

Great location... avoid at all costs. The only thing worse than the food is the service. Started with the beef negamki, the bite sized pieces were so tough we needed to cut into 3 just to get it down. Sushi was not very fresh. Thai dishes were better. Service was extremely slow and they got only 50% of the dishes correct. How do you mess up 4 out of 8? We were served our crispy tofu raw after we finished the main courses. They applied an 18% gratuity and the manager gave us a hard time and didn't take it off. Amazingly he claimed that the wrong dishes we ordered were our fault. Also, restrooms were nasty.

The place was good food wise pretty standard. The salad dressing was outstanding. But the location is amazing, superb, you cannot beat it. It is the nicest Thai restaurant in America because of the view.

The menu has a lot of selections, but I was surprised that they didn't have the "Lad Nah/Lad Nar" noodle dish. I ordered Pad See Ewe and it was good enough to satisfy my hunger. The Tom Yum soup was really good--just the perfect amount of sourness that I like. I also remember that their music selection was quite enjoyable. :) It was a nice change from typical Asian music.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It's Friday night and the place is EMPTY , and it's empty for a reason. I won't waste my time to tell you every little detail about my horrible experience here but just know this place is not worth going to . If your craving sushi DONT come here , go somewhere else, you've been warned...

BEWARE!!!! I always come here and lately the food has been AWFUL. I live locally and would always order out and sometimes eat in. My last order made me so SICK!!! the food was extremely greasy and no seasoning at all. when I came to inform the manager, who wasn't there, the other employee was telling me that I was wrong... I don't understand, I was there three times In a week. they need to recognize their clients. instead she spoke to me like I was crazy and asked me for a doctors note. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND FOOD MAY POISON YOU., PS I spent all day at home, couldn't even go to work. worst day ever!!!! for $30 I lost a whole days of work... ridiculous!!

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE! My friend and I dined here last night and we had a huge craving for Thai and sushi. My friend ordered chicken pad Thai which was beyond bland. The chicken and noodles both tasted like nothing and there was absolutely no spice to it at all. I ordered the shrimp tempura sushi roll with dynamite on top...the waitress argued with me saying it doesn't come with dynamite until finally she asked her manager and it was okay (for $5 more) which I expected. The rolls completely fell apart every time I tried picking it up. My 3 year old son (who is a garbage disposal) had chicken tenders with fries and what was supposed to come with Thai sauce but ended up being plain ketchup. The chicken was disgustingly dried out and he couldn't even take more than one bite. I ended up eating his kids meal (of $7 not including a drink) because my sushi was just THAT bad. We also ordered Saki which tasted absolutely vile. When we finally asked for the bill, it was $70 and included an 18% tip. Unbelievable! Service was non existent as well as the taste in the food. I've never been to a worst dining establishment. I can sacrifice bad food for great service, and vice versa but NEVER both. Again I say, this place is absolutely TERRIBLE! Customers beware!!!!!

Don't think I'll ever go back to this place again ! I had another discrepancy w the bill and when I spoke kindly about it the waiter/ess started a huge uproar ! I had people yelling at me from different angles ! Read the bill clearly because they get you at the end when it's time to pay and tip !!

Visited my father in Hallandale and decided to bring my family to lunch here. Total of 8 people. I honestly don't understand why the waitresses have so much attitude. They seem angry. I was hurt at the way they spoke to my father who is a senior citizen. My father asked the waitress why the bad treatment he's been there in the summer when business is slow and always supported them. The head waitress responded, "Then you should know better!" Sadly I took my family elsewhere. Try "Sapore Di Mare". We got allot of love here from the owner and his family. Now that is a place I will definitely comeback again to.

Just visited this establishment tonight. The absolute worse service. Refused to serve my friend and I because we had a service dog with us- vest but not letter. Mom had left it in car... I explained I would have my family sit at a beach bench (because they were only accompanying me), after taking our drink order, sever came back and stated that owner did not want to serve us anyway. When I asked to speak with the manager or owner, the owner pretended to be a new employee. Everyone avoided talking to me and would speak in their own language. Still in shock. This was my second visit and my first wasn't great but was willing to give it another try. Ruined my night.

Ducked in with Kristen to talk social media and merchant processing, and boy was I happy I did, here's why: * The Spicy Lobster Special Roll was like a big, seafoody and sushi-fied plate of super-delish fish nachos of LOVE! Where have you been all my life?? SCORE! It cost $20 bucks but was the hit of the meal. BIG chunks of fried Florida Spiny lobster inhabit the roll-slices you find hidden under a delish topping of shredded crab and other tasty treats. My mouth is watering while typing this. Mmmmmmmm!! We also enjoyed some edamame. They were fresh and prepared well, served warm and tasted fab, seasoned perfectly. The presentation was a little off. It was like they delivered it in a metal cat food bowl. It was the only metal bowl in site. Odd. But good. We also ordered some Tuna and Salmon sashimi and the pieces were HUGE and very fresh and tasty. SCORE! (see pics). The joint is positioned oceanfront, on the famous and storied Hollywood Broadwalk. The decor is a little dated, but I did mention that it is WATERFRONT, right? The only reason they aren't 5-starring it is because of the service. It was not good this visit. But the views and the quality of the food make it okay in my book. Pricing is fair, and less than I expected for the locale. Cabeza OUT!

  • Decent T.

Two star since i was able to order on phone from beach and pick it off once i showered off. Two star because the cut of tuna and the crafstmen ship on the roll were subpar. $9.10 for a spicy tuna that waa worth about $3.50. Staff were friendly though! The inside looked nice and had a good import beer selection. If your a sushi aficionado steer clear, if you like thai food and a good view give it a shot!

  • Mandi E.

Can't beat the location and view! The food was pretty good too. The prices were a bit pricey. I think they must add a premium for the location. I would have given them a higher rating, but when the bill came they had already added 18% tip into the total. There were only three of us, and actually it was only 2 adults and 1 child. They had also listed different tip amounts on the bill: 15%, 18% and 20%, but the 18% tip amount was already added to the total. And if you didn't look at the itemized bill (which in their defense they did stamp with "Gratuity Included") and just signed one of the copies, you would probably add more tip on the Gratuity line and then sign it.

Good food but the server was RUDE! We will not be returning. She asked our kids if they had enough money to tip her.

I live down the street from this restaurant, and I am a huge fan! Everything is always fresh and delicious! If you order to go from the website, you receive a discount. I don't agree that they add an additional tip line to the ticket after already sneaking in an 18% gratuity to the check. The food is wonderful.

I LOVE Thai food. I have been eating it for 20 years. I just ate the Red Curry, and it was the WORST I have ever had. I never write reviews, and this is my first, but I really want to warn Thai lovers, who really know what Thai food should taste like, not to waste time or money. Sure, the view is nice, but I can see it just by walking up and down. I had heard it wasn't a good place to go, but I tend to want to see things for myself. It not being good has been confirmed. I will continue to go to Sake Thai on Sheridan and more or less 40th. Wow! Now, that is a Thai place that knows how to cook!

    (1)
  • Allison C.

If you are looking for decently priced, yummy food, I can vouch for the red curry. I got it at the recommendation of others on here, and it was indeed good. My kind waiter also taught me how to properly combine the curry and rice. :) My favorite, though, was the people watching and beautiful ocean view from the outside seating. The restaurant is right on the broadwalk. I would certainly eat here again.

After seating ourselves at a table, the waitress handed us the menu. She was told that we were only going to have a couple of dranks. We were told that if we were not going to order any food that we could not sit at that table and we had to move a anothet table. The reason she gave was if others came in to eat they would be seated at this table, althougt there were several empty tables outside, where we were, and many empty tables inside. I spoke to someone who said that he was the mamager but refuse to listen to my complaint. Menus were thrown on the table instead of handing them to us. Also I don't unstand how or why tips (18%) were added in for a small party of 2. The waitress never came back to our table. We had two other waitresses. The check was thrown on the table, when asked about the gratuities, a menu was dumped on the table with no explanation. This is one restaurant I will never return to. I felt that the attitudes went beyond not odering any food.

Best sushi around from North Miami up to Ft lauderdale and I've been to time of sushi places. Only place that can compete is Kampai and they are in S. Miami. Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll is all I have to say. Dragon Roll and Clear Noodles (pad woo sen) and their cilantro sauce are also amazing here. Some say it is a dollar or 2 more than some sushi places however you receive more and also larger rolls, not to mention the exceptional quality. Don't come in expecting to receive those tiny quarter size rolls, they are more like diameter of a golf ball and will leave you satisfied. Won't be disappointed and very nice staff too. Hands down the best sushi around.

  • David G.

This place sucks and management is not professional. I have been eating here for a year and one night I came by myself and sat at table for six but I asked the waitress and she said its ok. I had a couple beer and seaweed salad and then dinner and order one more beer after dinner and wanted to enjoy the beach view and they asked my to move inside to smaller table or leave because it was getting busy. The owner would not talk to me just handed me my check and walked off. I will never go back here. By the my bill just for me was 50 dollars.

  • Unbiased R.

The worst sushi I've had! The fish was tasteless and they used two different types of salmon on different rolls, I know this because one salmon had noticeably more fat in it than the other roll, which leads me to conclude that they weren't even using sushi grade fish in their sushi. The four seasons roll was disgusting and was draining fish oil, I almost puked. I've had some bad sushi before, but their four seasons is the first roll that I didn't finish and not taken it to go. One star is an overstatement!

I like this place, I really do. Went there yesterday and my meal was fantastic. I think their food is top-notch. Service was terrible! When my food was delivered to my table I asked for some chilli powder- never arrived. I went inside and got it my self. Then I went inside and got my water refilled- waitress was nowhere to be found. By the end I just went inside and payed my bill- never received that either. I will return again, the food was that good. But beware of the crappy service!

Between this and their Presidential Circle location, I would say this one has better Thai food and the other has better Sushi, but both are very good. However, you cannot beat the outside seating - basically right on the Hollywood Broadwalk overlooking the beach and the ocean. People watching is exceptional, especially in season.

The red flag was there. Why didn't I just back away? This restaurant has signs posted all over the walls outside saying "Don't even ask! Our restrooms are for customers only!" We finished watching the fabulous Candy Cane Parade Saturday night and knowing how bad the traffic was going to be getting off the beach we decided to wait. The whole crowd was moving south so we went with the flow meanwhile all I could think of is my favorite stops further north. I had seen this place a while back and thought I'd like to try it so we went in. Before I even got up three steps I heard this militant waitress rudely telling a young pregnant woman that she couldn't use the restroom. I thought about turning around and looking for a different place to eat but it was so close to the garage we parked at and now it was raining. We sat outside at a table in the corner. It was nothing special, just white plastic chairs and a cheap tablecloth. I ordered green tea and it was horrible. How hard is it for a Sushi-Thai place to make descent green tea? It had muck down the bottom of the cup and tasted like pond water. When the waitress asked if I wanted a refill I put my hand over the tea cup and said no. I didn't even want to see anymore of that tea. I make green tea it at home all the time and it never looks or tastes like that. The Chicken Pad Thai came and the presentation was nice however it looked beige and lacked chicken. There were a few tiny, one inch painfully thin strips of chicken mixed in the noodles. The noodles tasted plain. It was the worst Pad Thai I have ever eaten. I had two bites and couldn't handle it. I waited but the waitress never came back. I finally got up and found her. I explained nicely that it needed more sauce. She took it back and they added more Pad Thai sauce. It was better but the Pad Thai still had a bitter taste to it. I ate half and asked for the check and there it was. The tip included beach deal. Was it really that time of year already? I didn't see many tourists out for the parade at all. We only had two of us in our party and the menu didn't say a thing. Their warning signs out from ought to read "Don't even dare try to eat here!"

This is by far, my favorite Thai restaurant in South Florida. The food is always great and the service is also good. Also, the location is wonderful as it is located in Hollywood's broad walk. You can seat outside and have the view of the beach. Also is a nice place to go for special occasions since usually is not very crowded.

I thought this place was pretty good! As always I got the Seafood Currey (Thai Hot) and the seasonings and the heat were excellent! In fact I believe I really got the "Thai Hot" because my mouth was on fire for at least an hour even after much water, lol. Great view of the Ocean too.

Disgusting!! I went in with some friends and there were termites swarming everywhere. They landed on our food, in our drinks and inside our clothing! I finally had to take my tuna roll inside to show the hostess that there was a worm on it. Guess what? They refused to take it off of our bill! To boot they brought two of our entrees out and 1/2 hour later we still had to ask for our other two. After we handed the waitress our money for the bill, she sat in front of us to count it to make sure we hadn't stiffed her. That's how bad it was--even she thought we shouldn't have paid.

  • Brandi H.

Worst dining experience. I wish I would have used the restroom FIRST and realized that there was no soap so they clearly were not washing their hands. The service was painfully slow our friends waited 20 minutes after they got there to get their drinks ordered. We had to ask other servers repeatedly to refill our drinks or find our waitress because she was never around to wait on out table. When we finally got the bill we discovered food that we did not order had been placed on it, they double charged us for teas and when my husband tried to point out to her that some of the food that we ordered was NEVER brought out but that she had charged us for she told him HE ATE IT!!! There was a large group of us and he "manager" was the nastiest person I have ever dealt with. When we tried to explain the incorrect charges and the poor coustomer service he began to YELL at us!!! I have never been so outraged. This was the first time I not only wanted to refuse to tip (and being a previous bar tender I would never dream of doing so) but I also wanted to walk out on the entire bill but to add insult to injury they added 18% gratuity to our bill. Please avoid this hell hole! It is no longer the friendly and charming place I remembered going to in years passed

Food was delicious, fresh and nicely presented, but UBER expensive. We went as a group and ended up paying $70 a couple. We did not order that much really. I get it, it's on the beach, but common. That kills the experience. If they lowered their prices, people would flock here.

  • Dawn F.

The food was very good. I had sushi and my husband and mom had Thai. The sushi was very fresh and nicely presented. Now, the service was a completely different matter. I don't think I've ever been treated so rudely and disdainfully as we were here. There were 3 of us and it took them about 15 mins to bring water (only 2) and another 10+ to get menus and once we ordered, probably another 10 to get the third water. When my husband went to ask for menus and the third water, the server acted like he was inconveniencing her. When they brought the check back for him to sign, his card wasn't in the folder. When he went to ask for it, they found it on the floor (it had slipped out) and the server bitched that he didn't bring her pen back when he was more concerned about his card! We will never go back. There are plenty of good restaurants where one can go and be treated like a human being.

Thai food is good. Japanese food is ok. Plus who puts imitation crab in ceviche!! Didn't pay 13$ for fake crab ands salsa .. A little overpriced - I guess you pay for the location. Diners beware, they automatically add 18 % tip onto your bill. When I asked about it, they said it is written in their menu. Some weird clause. Plus after you pay with your card the receipt gives you another spot to put more tip .??? I'm sure if you are drunk or just by paying attention. You wouldn't notice and leave more tip.. A little shady ..

I've stayed at Hollywood for the last few years in December because of the Art Basel Art Fair week in Mimai. Usually the first night we head to my favorite restaurant on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk, the unexpectedly delicious Sushi-Thai Restaurant, where for $7.95 you can have the mouth-watering Ika Shukgata Yaki (whole grilled squid in ponzu sauce) and a cold one while looking out at the ocean. This squid is fantastic... and quite an unexpected find for a restaurant that tends to cater to the tourist trade. It is by far the best dish on the menu, but I've had several other items as well and have never been disappointed. They also deliver.

  • Anna K.

Huge menu of uninspiring Thai and Japanese food. Very inconsistent quality. We ordered sashimi, it was fresh, but the rolls we ordered sucked - Not fresh, not rolled properly. Green tea wasn't fresh either and they charge 3$ for a cup of shitty green tea! They also add 18% tip on the check. Overall, overpriced mediocre food. Stay away if you can. The only good thing about it is that it's on the water, otherwise they wouldn't be in business.

    (2)
  • Paul D.

Stay away! Food quality has gone down hill fast (ate here 3-4 times a year for many years until 2015). And we had to order the same dish three times before they got it right. Rude staff, no manager on site on a Sat night. Finally, am I wrong to think the 18% tip rule for a party of 6 should not apply when it is made up of 3 adults and 3 kids who ate off the kids menu?

This is a perfect and ideal restaurant for anyone! The food has a lot of Thailand culture and flavor and is present nicely. I would recommend the Spicy Beef Salad. The best presented dishes are the large sushi selection which have an IMPRESSIVE And ELABORATE presentation. The view of the beach and ocean cannot be beat along with the speed of the food delivered to your table. I would recommend this restaurant to all!

  • Helena R.

3 stars are giving only for the purpose of location and the view. It is a beautiful outside seating, nice view of the ocean and the beach, but the restaurant itself was not that appealing to me. I was a little scared to eat the raw fish there, maybe something else might be a better idea. I order salmon sashimi and coconut soup. Salmon tasted ok, not that amazing fatty salmon raw taste, but still, I could eat it. Soup was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. My main concern was the price. This restaurant is quite expansive for what it is. Don't expect to spend less that $18 for an entree, a small one..

Cabeza OUT!

Greeted with excuses as to why we could not order lunch. By the time the waiter was done making excuses, he put us at "2:44pm" which he said was too late to order lunch portions even though their UN published "last call" is at 2:45pm.

Food was delicious, fresh and nicely presented, but UBER expensive. We went as a group and ended up paying $70 a couple. We did not order that much really. I get it, it's on the beach, but common. That kills the experience. If they lowered their prices, people would flock here.

I'm a regular here with my boyfriend and we have our signature dishes that we both love. We are both vegetarian so we especially love their Thai food. I always order fried tofu over vegetables in garlic sauce and a side of brown rice. If you love garlic it's a fantastic dish. My boyfriend always orders pad Thai and although its likely that it contains fish sauce he's not as strict as a vegetarian as me. He always orders it medium spicy which he always regrets the next day. But he loves their pad Thai over anyone else's! The decor is nice and the best time to go is right before the sun goes down. It's not too busy and the view is great sitting outside.

I now understand why this place is always empty, i personally will never come here again. The portions are super small and the prices are super high, you're totally paying for the location and the location only. I just paid $4 for an iceberg lettuce salad and $12 for 9 tiny pieces of sashimi plus 18% added gratuity. Look closely because If you dont pay attention they can get you with the tip, it was listed on the initial receipt as something that was automatically added. I then give them my card, they swipe it and give me the slip to sign, this slip had another slot for the tip but it didn't state that the 18% tip had already been included. So if you dont paid attention to the first receipt you could end up double tipping. I'm far from cheap and I don't mind spending money, especially when it comes to food, but what I do mind is overpaying for crappy service and product. I wish I had two more hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs down

My favorite restaurant in Hollywood! Right on the broadwalk, but at the quieter Southern end. They have outside seating which is totally serene and tranquil. It is different from the other broadwalk restaurants because they don't blast loud music or have bad karaoke singers. It's a nice quiet haven with delicious food. The service is also fantastic. There are a few ladies and a gentleman that are servers and they all seem to remember us every time. The sushi is pretty good and the thai menu is great. We always have a great time there.

Two meals - lunch on the patio, and take-out dinner. Both decent. Thai side of the menu definitely better than Japanese -- especially enjoyed the red curry chicken, with just the right level of heat (on the high side, as requested). Pad thai also decent. Maki rolls and udon soup just OK. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices kind of high for non-gourmet Thai -- $15 for curry, $13 for pad thai, etc. Still, in the morass of culinary disaster that is Hollywood Beach, it's good to find a place that you don't mind going back to.

  • Jack D.

The service is plain horrible. We simply wanted to change seats and from this point on, we were treated like crap. Sushi are just fair, other food not bad. The rice they use in other plates is sushi rice. This is NOT the right rice to use in anything else than sushi. The finale is the most absurd.... they automatically include 18% gratuity for dinner that is not negotiable. This is simply called theft, not even sure if this is legal. And language barrier is a problem too. Do yourself a real favor, NEVER go there.

Ordered a few different types of sushi rolls, ate 1 piece and couldn't eat the rest. Rice was hard as a rock and the fish tasted funny. The waiters noticed we were unhappy as we voiced our concerns. They didn't offer to do anything for us but pay the bill so we did. Needless to say we will NEVER go back! Yuck!

Phenomenal Ramen Noodle bowls. The food is fresh, the rolls are awesome! The location is excellent, it's right on the beach. Their lychee martini was not the best I've ever had. The servers are somewhat friendly. The gratuity is included.

I ate here 4 months ago. the service was miserable. the sea urchin was actually rotten. when i complained about the sea urchin, they told me that they were calling the police. the police came. they were noticeably annoyed that they had to deal with a language dispute. not only was the service awful and food rotten, the employees didnt even have a way to communicate their perspectives on why none of those facts mattered. i was banned for life. good thing too, because id hate to accidentally go there again next time i am on vacation. avoid this place.

Great find. I recently moved to the area and ran into this place. I didn't think much of it at first since most beach restaurants tend to skimp on the food to pay for the expensive rent. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I ate sushi and my wife ate Thai. Both dishes were excellent. We have two little kids who are a little messy, and the staff was super nice with us with no attitude whatsoever. I've returned many times since and the service has always been top notch and the sushi is the best in the area. The Thai is pretty darn good too. Plus, you can't beat the view.

I called Sushi-Thai this evening to place an order for delivery. Before I did, I asked the person on the phone if there was a delivery minimum and they told me it was $15.00. After placing my order I was told "Oh, that's only $14.95 so you need to add something to the order." Trying to be reasonable, I added a miso soup to satisfy the minimum. When my food arrived, the $3 delivery charge was already added to the bill. Since $3 is a pretty significant delivery fee, I added another $3 for tip. The delivery guy asked me if I had used delivery before and told me that $3 was cheap. I shot him a dirty look (hey, when I have decent service I am an excellent tipper - but this is $6 toward delivery on a $17 bill and I'm a firm believer that the customer is always right - he should've kept his mouth shut) and offered him another dollar. He then CONTINUED to tell me that he doesn't receive any money from the delivery fee, that the money goes to the restaurant and if I didn't tip him he wouldn't get any money. I finally tipped him $5 on top of the $3 delivery fee so he would just leave and went inside. My food was nothing special and the thought of the delivery guy calling me cheap and paying $8 toward delivery on a mediocre $17 meal really started to rub me the wrong way. I called the restaurant and calmly told them that I recognized that it wasn't their fault, but that the delivery guy was rude and they promptly apologized. If it had been left at that, I probably would've let it go. About 15 minutes later the restaurant called me back! If it had been an apology that would've been fine but it was the same person I spoke to earlier explaining that there was a location closer to my home and a several minute rant about how far the restaurant was and possible excuses for the restaurant and the driver. They kept offering me the number for the other location when really what they should've done was apologized and moved on. The phone call back was frustrating, a waste of my time, and a terrible example of customer service.

I've been to Thailand and every Thai restaurant I can think of . The thai here is AMAZING ! I have turned so many ppl on to it. If you do nothing else in life.. Order the red curry chicken ( medium) and the chicken pad Thai . MIX THEM TOGETHER and your welcome!!!!!!!

Went with a client a few months ago, the service was the pits! We waited 30 minutes for a seat, the drink selection was terrible while we waited. Inside the restaurant was like Antarctica, and outside it was slightly too warm to eat raw fish in.... The sushi was mediocre at best, and it took another 20 minutes after dinner to get the check! I would pass.....

Sushi Thai on the Beach is one of my very favorite places in Hollywood. We have been there probably 10 times since moving here 6 months ago. The sushi is always phenomenal, and the service is great. We have never been disappointed. The thai is also excellent. They do put an automatic gratuity of 18% on your bill, but it has always been well deserved. It's a great spot for lunch - you can sit along the gorgeous beach. Another added bonus is that they deliver! I Highly recommend this place.

Tired of the awful scene in the Miami beaches, We decided to go to Hollywood beach last saturday for a change. Once we got there we were starving and asked locals where can we find a good restaurant to eat fish, everyone favorite was Sushi-Thai on the beach, so we had to go and try it. We went for a late lunch, they have outside seating which I was happy because we were all wearing our bathing suits, and were carrying the cooler, beach chairs, etc... I remember one local recommend to try the salmon with peanut sauce, so I ordered it with brown rice and my husband order the salmon with cashews, and vegetables on top. But the best dish were the kids, Thai style chicken fingers, which are like chicken fries, they served it with this Delicious extra crispy and super thin fries and a slice orange. neither my kids or us could get enough!!!! best kids meal ever... They service was outstanding, but then again it wasn't busy. My husband though it was a little expensive, but I guess we were paying for the location (beachfront) . they bill was $75 something for four of us. the decor is very traditional Thai, nothing fancy very, very casual. I enjoy it...

Sat eve. takeout. Volcano Veggies and Tofu. I also ordered Garlic Tofu. Both were very good, I will have to go back and actually try some of the fish/meat. It says Thai/Japanese/American on the menu- Reason why I went generic in regard to my choice for dinner. Nice spot near the south end of the Broadwalk. They have a breakfast menu (The only day they don't serve Bfast is Tues). A few other locations by different names in the area. If you order online you get 10% off.

Good food, pleasant staff, nice views. I did not give it 5 stars because they added a 15% tip on the bill for the two of us. I think that it was unnecessary.

Delicious sushi. Friendly and professional staff. Would come back for sure! Our server was Film, she's great! Ps: outdoor tables overlooking the beach, great atmosphere!

Yuck!

Beware, they add your tip into the bill before they bring it to you. So much for being able to tip based upon service.

Poor service. Bad management and rotten sushi. The only thing that was passable was the thom yum soup.

My wife and I have a condo around the corner and eat here every time we're down for a visit. Food and service are always excellent. We especially like the Pad Thai and various curry dishes.
