I am torn about subtracting one or two stars for the prices. Woo! They are high. However, this place is situated right on the beach, and the food is GOOD. We have been here two days so far. The kids meals are reasonably priced at around 7 dollars. My kids loved them, and there was a lot of food. I enjoyed the hot dog on one visit and the mahi salad on the other. The salad was FANTASTIC and creative. Lots of delicious goodies in it along with the superb (and hopefully fresh) fish. The vinigerette was delightful. The mixed drinks are good here, but pricey.... I love the view, and our server was delightful on both visits.

Nice beach-side place to hangout and have a drink! We stayed in Diplomat resort and visited Splash in the evening. Location is perfect, outdoor blue decor is amazing & cant beat the view! There is nothing much in menu for vegetarians, so we planned to get Hummus and a drink, then go someplace else for dinner. Hummus was tasty, with nice presentation. There were no customers so we were seated right away; but the service was very poor/slow. We waited for 15 min for server to take order, after 20 min we reminded her that we are still waiting, 15 min later finally got it, 10 min to eat, then waited 20 min to get the check. At the end of 1.5 hours just for hummus, we were tired of waiting and late for dinner.

Great location and views, but you pay for them. Part of the Diplomat hotel. An automatic charge of 18% is added to every purchase. Their pitchers of rum punch are delicious, but be prepared to pay $60 per pitcher. Staff quality varies widely.

The kids burger and fries for 7 bucks is actually a very good deal. Other prices are high, but you're on vacation, if you are worried about the price you should have stayed at work.

Conveniently located centralized from all the resort pools and the beach, I ended up dining here 3 of the 5 days of my stay at the Westin Diplomat. I tried a variety of their menu: the marinated chicken salad, the honey glazed chicken salad wrap, the grilled sirloin hamburger, Calypso wings, and fries. My favorites were definitely the chicken salad and the wings. Packed with protein, the chicken salad has a heaping amount of chicken in a quality, fresh salad mixture tossed in a light vinaigrette. This is the perfect light meal for a day of pool lounging that's packed with nutrients and won't create belly bloat! The wings are also delicious, tangy and flavorful and just the right size. The other items are standard bar food, but splash definitely places special emphasis on the presentation and quality of its dishes, sometimes allowing their patrons to forget they're poolside dining. The drinks here are also delicious and pack a punch. Order a pitcher of margaritas for $40 and you're in for a treat!

It was my second time being here and the location couldn't be any better, right off the beach from the resort I was staying at. The service is spectacular and are always attentive to your requests. The view is magnificent, layout of the place is clean, spacious with a bar in the center with plenty of tv's to watch sports. Their food, which I didn't try looked pretty good and we'll portioned. I ended up having their Samuel Adams Seasonal beer on the first day & on the second day I ended up having their cocktail called "dream maker" mixed with Patron Tequila, Gran Marnier, blackberry juice...etc .etc. . Overall pretty cool hangout place whether you're poolside or at the beach hitting the waves.

Wings and drinks are incredible. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. The hours of service are so convenient. They are open until 10 pm this week as far as I know. You can't beat dining outdoors right next to the ocean! Thanks for your great service Ango!!

Pricey drinks with the 20% gratuity added in automatically. 12$ for a mix drink, $10 for a mojito but at least it was tasty!!!!!! The pool area is nice so the cold drinks completed a lazy afternoon. I saw people eating and the food looked pretty good. I'm not a fan of tip being automatically added on, we generally overtip anyways.

Attentive and very friendly staff. The bar is in the round and easily accessible, even when it's busy. A shout out to Marcella...my bar keep for the week . Gave very good recommendations on a couple of restaurants. Food here is better than average for bar food. Nice selection of healthy dishes.

The pina colada here was great! Price was expensive but it looked good with the pineapple slice on top and tasted great!

For being a hotel restaurant it wasn't too expensive considering tip is included. I had a great Caesar salad there and a couple days later had a great cheeseburger. Service was fast and attentive. Love that you can buy pitchers of drinks and get about 8 drinks out of them!

Had an especially bad experience here recently. Went for lunch after a conference and Splash was very busy. The hostess put my name on a waiting list and said she would call me when a table was ready. Needless to say, after 20+ minutes of waiting around (very conspicuously I might add) I noticed that a number of tables had been cleared and she even started seating other people who just walked up! When I asked her about the waiting list she shrugged and said "it's open seating". I'm sure that most people know how angering it feels to be ignored at a restaurant, and then also to be treated with a shrug like it doesn't matter. It's too bad that this employee doesn't take her job or the customer's seriously. I know that the Diplomat has higher standards than this.

We always go here and order the honey chicken wrap, seasoned fries and a pitcher of their signature cocktail!!! Although it's not that cheap, I'd say its reasonable enough.

Just average overpriced hotel bar and grill food. Fish tacos were decent but $19 for two small tacos and no side is a bit excessive. When they got busy the servers seemed very overwhelmed despite having only 3-4 tables each.

I loved it! 4/5 - BBQ chicken on flat bread: The chicken was a little dry, but not bad. 3/5 - Asian chicken wrap: Again, the chicken was a little dry, but still edible. 3/5 Service: Fast. Not that attentive, it took them awhile to notice us and hand us a menu. 3/5 Final thoughts: The food was okay, but super overpriced.

Staying at The Diplomat and ate lunch here several times. The Ahi Tuna salad is delicious as is the key lime pie cocktail. Friendly and quick service!

Way overpriced but you can't beat the location and convenience if you are staying at the westin. fries were very good, chicken sandwich had a teeny piece of overcooked chicken and they served it with a limp jar pickle and some smushy grapes. Very expensive and not worth the price.

Nice and convenient when staying at the diplomat. Food was good and the portions were quite large. Only gave 4 stars because I felt it was slightly high prices for what we got to eat. Service was good. They do serve poolside as well which is nice but we sat down at the restaurant area to eat.
