Not a fan of the interior or the food.

This bar has a ton of character. I had a philly cheese steak, fries, and mozzarella sticks. Food is better than your average bar food, and the drinks are strong. They have plenty of big screens to watch the games, and an outdoor area too. If you like Long Island iced teas, I would suggest trying them here. You can tell the crowd are locals who have been going to the bar for years, which is awesome. Since I live right around the corner I plan to visit this place more often!

I had mixed expectations coming here mostly because of name-bias but my friend John is as much of a burger snob as I am so I figured it had to be decent. I had the BBQ Cheddar burger and I gotta say it was amazing. The meat was excellent, they absolutely nailed medium rare, and the sauce was a perfect taste compliment. Nothing too fancy about it but solidly great. Fries were OK, weird pasta salad came with it but I was there for the burger. Waitress was quick, perky, and kept beers coming. Good beer selection too.

service sucks. i visited this place around 10 pm & starded with drinck & wings which i enjoyed. i requested server to give me best chicken burger you have and what i go is just a bun with chicken & hot sause on it. when i asked about the missing things like cheese onions tomato & lettuce.the reply i got from server "this is what we serve for $9.99". Even burger king has a better burger for under $6. when i requested him to put missing things in this then he replied that will be $1 extra & the worst thing he brought the things seprate & told me to put instead of take the burger back & bring in a proper manner. i am not going back to this place, please think twice before going to this place.

Update visit - 7/19/15 - The burger & wings are very good - so we thought what else off the menu, like a entree might be good. Let's see where this went wrong ? Start w/ the food, dinner salad Ceaser waaay to much dressing should have got on the side, and Garden salad was plain. The entrees waitress (Kristina) recommend strip steak w/ garganzolla cheese , steak was cooked medium but was a tough chewy cut w/ fat Grissel, asked for broccoli well steamed , it was not, side Hot dog bun bread salathered in butter, w/ No garlic on it . $20. We also had on waitress recommended Mahi Fish ala Franchese , small piece of fish swimming in a yellow buttery sauce, no cream , no lemon zest , same as above w/ broccoli & bread. $20 (Sucky). The Service, - No manager in sight young staff goofing off & partially engaged, to customers. Our waitress very friendly, but less than 30 days at location ? ( excuse? Or poor training? ) let's start w/ Bloody Mary not spicy, in tall glass, lite ice, - what was brought out was a Bloody Mary ( spicy) , in tall glass packed w/ ice & NO garnish not even a celery stick , olive , lemon , nothing? Ordered second Bloody Mary, now they bring Room temp Bloody Mary, w/ 3 ice cubes. Ask for water w/ lemon - NO lemon. Waiting for salads, 10 min, nothing final brought to us by another server, & here comes our server w/ our entree at the same time. Ask waitress why all at same time ? She told us , "that how they do it", but she was will to put our food under heat lamps while we eat salad ?, we said no , we wanted to eat it our entrees hot & fresh, so we are eating our dinner & salad at same time , but with so many plates on table , we have our salads towards end of table & waitress runs quickly past w/ out saying a word & takes one salad away!! ?? - the waitress now realizing we are not pleased , is coming over too much & trying to save her tip, & keeps asking how is the sucky dishes. Despite all the bad food & service , she is trying to kill us w/ kindness. Then brings us the bill w/ up charges on Bloody Mary & steaks , & then disappear for another 10 min , only to return to say they don't take Discover card, gone again. Bottom line - stick to the burgers & wings. $55 plus tip of 15% no good value or experience today. Rating 6.5

Horrible service, over cook burger management and server didn't care about such poor experience, I could walked out with out paying but instead I went inside looking for my server Brandy, manager didn't even apologize for the inconvenience Never coming back even though I live a few blocks down

I love coming here because of it's excellent service, homemade sauces and laid back ambiance. It's as good as it gets without the ocean view. Many locals and friendly environment. Full service bar, beer is always nice and cold and food is always fresh.

Standard bar, but with a huge menu. We ordered the blackened and grilled wings, but they definitely didn't seem blackened or grilled, they seemed liked standard wings. The thai sauce was good though. We also ordered the tuna sashimi special and they delivered the tuna salad platter which the bartender proceeded to tell us we ordered, which we did not. They replaced it either way, the tuna was just average, but also probably not the best thing to order in a sports bar. I definitely appreciated the $5 all day happy hour and all of the tvs for games. I heard their other location just around the corner is much nicer and draws a larger crowd, I'll try that one instead next time.

Ordered food to go from Shenanigans and the waitress was really nice over the phone, and I know they were slammed for a game on tv. Picked up my order and it was a little pricey, and there was a $2.50 up-charge for the side order of sweet potato fries, and the order of fries was tiny after I looked at it- very disappointing . The ribs were good tasty a full rack so 2 layers of ribs, the sauce kind of ribs that you need wetnaps for. The ribs also came with Garlic Toast, and I chose the upgraded sweet potato fries, the good standard kind, but not many of them My man remembered the wings to be huge here, that's why we came for wings, and the wings turned out to be regular sized, another let down. We got 20 wings Naked-style (without breading), and spicy wing sauce and blue cheese and Thai sauce to try. The spicy was more like mild to me, and the Thai was good. The Blue cheese it really good and lots of chunks of cheese. Great food for a sports bar, the other Shananigans location is on Federal highway. I recommend the ribs and other BBQ dishes here, minus a star for price compared to other sports bars.

Kind of outdated bar, carpet holds musty smell. However, they do have good wings. I like how they are hot and freshly made to order, and they're plump.

I brought in my 3 kids on a slow Sunday afternoon. The waitress was very friendly, and quickly took our drink order and returned with our beverages. The kids ordered Mac & Cheese (they make their own), Fish Fingers, and a Hamburger. I took a quick look at a very short menu, and ordered the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Fingers. The food came out quickly, but when the waitress put down my plate I was shocked. My kids' meals were huge. Great portions for $5-$6. My lunch was $12 and was 4 1/2 skimpy fingers. The salsa was tasteless and mostly canned pineapple. The food was good. The kids were happy. However, the portion of food for the price of the meal was pathetic. I'll give them another shot and try something else on the menu. Hopefully I won't leave hungry next time.

The staff was very friendly but it seemed to be a little timely to place our order and wait on the food. Great place to hangout and they have a great all day "happy hour." I ordered a buffalo grilled chicken sandwich and my friends ordered a poutine and a Philly cheese steak. Everything came out great. Good food however a little pricey.

I really love this place! Great wings, fries and wraps! If you don't like little hole in the wall spots, this is not for U. Don't think you're going into a super clean, fancy shmancy place. It's a great place to watch games and enjoy drinks!

Shenanigans...where everybody knows your name. Typical sports bar, typical bar food with the slowest service in town! However, if you're looking for a place to watch a sporting event, this neighborhood bar is the place to be. They have lots of TV's and pay-per-views are great! Live music is also a plus! Need a local place to have a drink or two...then head over to Shenanigans!

  • Savanna M.

I have to admit, Shenanigans has a special place in my heart. No, I don't think the service is good, no I don't think the drinks are that great, and no I don't think anything on the menu is worth raving about - except the wings!!! I don't even like wings, I find them too messy for the amount of food you get off of one, but the Thai chicken wings at Shenanigans are amazing. I've actually tried replicating them at home, they seem simple enough, but alas, I can't seem to duplicate them...that's ok though cause Shenanigans is really close to my house. Shenanigans is the perfect place for watching a sporting event, don't expect much, but definitely come for the wings!

Fun bar and restaurant with a comfortable vibe. It's located next to Starbucks and across from TY Park. They have a good beer selection, my favorite being Arrogant Bastard. They serve appetizers, including a terrific home made fish dip, along with soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps entrees and desserts. There's quite a variety, from antipasto salads, to burgers, to ribs. I happen to really like the Cuban sandwich. Sandwiches come with fries, or for extra get sweet potato fries or the vegetable of the day. The portions are big, and the prices are a tad higher than what you'd expect, but not outlandish. Their happy hour is great, with awesome discounts on wings, beer and fries. They are busy for lunch and dinner, and it gets bumping at night with live (loud) music. It can be a fun place to come out at night and not get dressed up like you're going to a club. The daytime bartender is a little tough at first, but just smile and leave a big tip (if it's deserved) and she'll remember you and be super nice. I don't blame her...drunks can be annoying! So yes, I totally recommend this fun neighborhood hangout!

Can't say the experience was great.. our bartender want really friendly didn't really smile or engage. An count Ur drinks because she over charged 2 drinks, an when we asked about it she just kinda was like whatever an tried to say we where there for longer then we where an the drinks where justified... The food is pretty good tho

Service is very bad. Luckily they have the good food to draw people in. Don't sit at the bar when a short middle aged blonde woman is working. She is down right NASTY. I'm surprised she hasn't been fired. Ale House is much better. More TVs and better drink specials.

Four stars. You read right. Typical sports bar, with all of that extra noise, TV, weird guy at the bar, etc.. but I'm about to blow your mind. This joint has a juke box! And the BEST fish wrap in this 'hood! I know, I know.. you wouldn't come to a sports bar for fish wraps, just like you wouldn't go to Starbucks for chicken sandwiches.. but a friend recommended it and to my surprise it was fresh and on point. Recommend those two things.. And sidewalk eating if it's cool out. Bon appétit.

I came here on a Saturday night around 9:30 and the place was jam packed. We were lucky to find a table. The music was loud, and there had to have been at least 15-20 flat screen televisions that were HUGE! I've been here about 4-5 times and Shenanigan's never disappoints. First off, no matter what day of the week they are sure to have drink specials. I wound up getting their $5.00 margaritas and I thought they were going to come out in these small cups but they came in a generously sized cup. I was impressed, and not to mention good (aka STRONG). I didn't wind up leaving until before midnight but I really did have a great time. Our waitress, Shelly (I think her name was) was so friendly and was extra accommodating, I have yet to try their food but everyone that ordered food around us sure finished it quickly. Shenanigan's is definitely worth checking out and is no doubt a staple of Hollywood!

Great place to watch a game, grab a cold one and eat some wings. Great atmosphere. I especially like that they pay tribute to one of my dear friends who died in a motorcycle crash by hanging up his football jersey. I always get a nice slice of home and great memory's with my friend when I come here.

Curt is such a warm hearted unique understanding individual. He truely cares about all customers of Shenanigans always going that extra mile towards making customers happy. He also cares about his staff and with his compassionate ways he gives his staff great wisdom and knowledge towards being the BEST! I truely have found the light in Curt. May he be blessed in everyway as well as Shenanigans be blessed with much more happy customers.

Great place to watch a game and grab a drink. Food choice was your average bar food. Burgers, wings, wraps etc... But exceptional. My girl had the boneless wings with the hot sauce which she really enjoyed while I had the chicken Philly wrap. It was different but worth trying. Plenty of drink specials. Services was good while the atmosphere is what you would expect from a sports bar. Plenty of TVs with all of the games.

Shenanigans was my cheers, I've been coming here for almost 15 years and have a lot of great memories as well. It's Family owned and operated- it has gone thru a few changes over the years but it's still one of my favorite spots to eat when I'm in town. They always have drink specials and great beers on tap. Service is hit or miss, especially when they're busy. However, I've never had a bad meal here - the blackjack sandwich and spinach dip are the best ever (seriously, THE BEST). Awesome wings and bar food but they also have great steaks, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches and chef specials that are delicious as well. You pretty much can't go wrong for whatever you're craving - lunch, dinner, a late night drink/snack, or anything else in between!

Great atmosphere! Even better food! My personal suggestions: Appetizers: The peel n eat shrimp or the spinach artichoke dip Wings: Black n grilled wings with Thai sauce on the side Burger: The BBQ Cheddar Burger or the Ultimate Bacon Cheese Burger (Better be hungry. The portions are huge) Seafood: The fresh dolphin sandwich blackened or the fried calamari

The food was great, but the servers were not so nice, we got greeted, but when we asked for waters the waiter sighed as if it was an inconvenience, every time we ordered something it seemed to take more than a reasonable amount of time. We suggest they hire more staff.

The service has always been slow but today was the worst. After spending 4 hours at neighboring TY Park my family was extremely hungry and thirsty. We sat at a high table near the door and waited and waited... After 10 minutes I begged a passing waitress for drinks and she babbled something about already taking 3 tables that weren't hers and kept moving. The bartender was standing behind the bar just staring into space. Our 'supposed' waitress then yelled she'd be right over then asked the other waitress to take us again. 5 more minutes went by when the first waitress came back. We gave her our food and drink order at once. 5 minutes later she flew by and dropped off the bowl of soup I ordered. This is still without us getting drinks. Finally, I watched her pick up a tray of drinks and told my wife that if that wasn't for us we were leaving. When she put it back down and disappeared into the kitchen I had had enough. We were there about 25 minutes. On the way out I told the bartender the story. It wasn't until then that he bothered trying to do something even though we were sitting 10 feet from him. It was too late and we left. I hope they had started our order and had to dump it. As I said earlier, the service was always slow but the Cajun wings are so good I put up with it. This time, at only about 75% capacity, it was ridiculous and I will not be back

Food good but the staff are super unprofessional!!! I was order some food to go but the bar girl (Danielle) asked me my card number..... I never hear about those kind of policy, so after 5 min my hus called and easy ordered our togo food without any card number??? So what the policy of shenanigans

First I want to say that this is not a review of the food. Everything I have eaten at both of their locations has been excellent. In fact, they have the best wings I have ever eaten. I have tried them at both locations and they are consistently good. I literally just left the restaurant and was so p**sed that I am taking the time to write my first Yelp review. I was there watching the Dolphin game. I ordered 10 wings and a tea. After finishing the wings, I decided on some more. I had 20 wings and probably 5 iced teas. That came to $29.05 with tip which surprised me and I think is a bit high. Now, I understand that when a customer is not drinking alcohol and is a single on a Sunday, the waitress may not be pleased. However, the place was not packed and there was plenty of seating in her section the whole game. I mention this because I have worked in the service industry in the past and my intention was to tip $10 for the game since I would be "camping" and expected a bill of around $20. Instead, she charged me for two teas ($2.59/each), because there is a policy of one refill (unbeknownst to me - even though I have eaten at this particular location 7-8 times and 3 times for an entire sporting event during the World Cup or football games) and 2 - orders of 10 wings @ $8.99 each. Now, I did order them separately; however, I did not share them, or take any home. I think that charging me the $14.99 for the 20 piece order would have been appropriate. Maybe even a $1 up charge for the extra effort. So, instead of a $10 tip, she got 18% and Shenanigans lost a very local customer who (since moving into the neighborhood two months ago) has easily spent $250 in their establishment. I was willing to spend $30+ dollars to watch the game, but I feel as though she was trying to make up for the slow day. Saying she screwed me is too harsh, but there was no consideration or customer relations either. Oh well, plenty of other restaurants in the area with TV's and food.

This place gets really packed on the weekend and during sporting events. The food is too good to miss so we typically order takeout instead. The naked buffalo garlic wings are amazing and my gf is obsessed with the buffalo chicken wrap. Keep in mind that the Dania location doesn't have that wrap!

As a dive bar aficionado, I was told I had to try Shenanigans, and I must say it was less divy than I thought it would be. For me, a true dive bar needs worn furniture, random decor, and a smell of old smoke and beer, and Shenanigans lacks some of these characteristics. Nevertheless, the fact that it does not strictly meet my criteria is probably a plus for most people. In terms of what it does have, the wings, wraps, and cheese sticks I tried were all wonderful. The beer is definitely cheap, and the wait staff is attentive but relaxed. My buddy and I started at a table and moved to a pool table, and at no time did our waitress complain; she just saw us move and smoothly attended to us at our new location. Although this was my first time, I was impressed enough to return for another night of relaxed fun.

I recently visited Shenanigans Sports Pub and I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. Service was a little slow due to a lack of staffing to deal with the demand. Atmosphere is fine for the venue.

We live really close and love coming here based on the proximity great food and excellent service. We only wish the decor was a little nicer the live bands weren't so loud and the French fries were better. You get an awesome burger and not so great frozen fries which is so disappointing. Our advice is clean up the location a bit and make fresh fries.

Would not come here for thier so called brunch unless your like old loud drunk dudes @11am :( Food was not that good n cold. We were first table. Maybe staff was still hung over from last nite. Stick to lunch & dinner.

I love the wraps and burgers. Everything I have eaten there has been delicious. Staff is nice and the bar scene is great. You don't usually get quality food at a fun bar for a cheap price. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the hollywood area

Wife and I used to like this place and it was our go to for Miami Heat games. Tonight though was the last time for us there. While watching the game we spotted a mouse running around the railings above the tv monitors. I alerted the waitress who told the manager and that was that. Waitress came back to our table a few times and apologized and explained that she'd never seen that before and they use a pest control company, clearly an ineffective one. Manager was made aware by the waitress but never approached our table to explain. Just kinda ignored it and I'm sure couldn't wait til the restaurant was empty. I made sure to alert the folks around me. In the end, the waitress gave ONE drink to one of the people @ our table. We were charged full fare and that was that. Sorry but that's nasty and probably a health code violation. I know bugs and rodents exists but eliminating them is part of the cost of doing business. No excuses for that. Just gross. I'm never going there again and I will let everyone know why.

With Shenanigans being a local place for me I would go there a few times a month for the last few years. The food was always pretty good up until recently. The quality seems to have taken a dip the last few times I ate there.. The steak sandwich which I always enjoyed is just not of the same quality I was used to getting. Gristley, fatty, and tasteless. Fries were ice cold and my wifes salad was not good at all. Server was not at all attentive Sorry Shenanigans,.This is your third strike. Im done.

  • Christine H.

I work in Hollywood and regularly go to Shenanigan's for lunch. Today, when I received my bill for a simple chicken caesar salad, it was $13.99! Seriously, I wasn't sitting on Hollywood Beach to have lunch at a 4 star restaurant - I was in Hollywood! Therefore I don't feel that a chicken caesar salad should cost $13.99. When I questioned my server - she said that the owner had raised prices , got rid of items enjoyed by the local customers and is now charging extra for everything. So - I would recommend reviewing the menu and the new pricing BEFORE you run up a huge tab. . . There are plenty of sports bars in the area to choose from! Christine

Been here a couple times. Great happy hour prices, fairly decent service. Typical Irish sports bar decor. Their wings and Cobb salad are really good. Crowd is a bit rough, but expected. I'm giving it 3 stars, but on this last occasion it really deserves only 2 stars because the peel and eat shrimp were small and way over-cooked. The seasoning was great though. We had a good laugh when we asked for drawn butter and our waitress brought us a bunch of butter packets, LOL. It's a decent go-to place for a cheap happy hour or to watch the game and munch on bar food.

Been coming here for a long time and its surely a local spot. First and foremost the hot wings are amazing!! It's open super late and there always seems to be a good amount of ppl there no matter what time of day.. They have another location on us1 but this one is better. 2 pool tables in back but they NEED a few dart boards!! It would be the only spot with good boards in Hollywood.. But great spot anyway!!

Best grilled wings. Get the black and grilled. Addicting. This place has great bar food. Above the usual bar food fare. Fun servers, sometimes they are in the weeds but always nice.

This place is great just don't go during the day during weekdays. Weekday bartender has the worst attitude. Christa? Kristy? Kristen? Whatever her name, she acts like it's an inconvenience to serve you.

Better than average bar food. Gumbo is great and so is chilling. Jamaican jerk chicken wings were burnt and the sauce is terrible -granted I am used to having real Jamaican food from my nanny but the prob here was everything was burnt and disgusting. The prime rib sandwich described as their best meal is fatty and stringy although hubby loves it and grilled fish fingers for 11 bucks were served like a kiddie meal which was fine cause what we wanted but very bland. Also there was no one on the restaurant. And the waitress hardly. Came by forgot to bring the check three times, forgot to bring take out containers until I finally got up to get them myself, forgot onions and on chili and then at end she said randomly sorry she couldn't talk with me she just had so many tables (five outside) no prob don't need u to talk to me juSt get the order right. Perhaps they were understaffed and were busy on other side of the restaurant but come on you are a bar restaurant meant for football on a Saturday. No idea what they will do when it gets busy.

I've been coming here for at least 12 years . The food and service has always been top notch . You can never go wrong with the grilled Cajun wings , the chili or baked potato soup. My only complaint is they don't make the soup often enough and its hit or miss

This place has bad service but the food more than compensates for it. Recommend the 4 to 7 happy hour menu with great wings, calamari, burgers, etc. The pricing is cheap at this time. Everything I have ordered I've thoroughly enjoyed. My fiancee like going there cause its close by, always open late, and the wings never fail. Love the Atkins diet wings. Some things are overpriced, but portions are big enough to share. And its dark, sorry a bar aint a bar to me unless its dark.

Omg!!!!! Where to begin!!!!!! The chicken wings are so delicious!!!!! My husband and I love wings and these are our favorite wings. The turkey club sandwich is my favorite. My husband usually gets a burger, which are always delicious. We love the tons of fries( loaded fries) the drink specials are good. This is one of our favorite places to go and watch a game or just get out to have dinner.

  • Dan C.

I've had good and bad experiences here. Unfortunately, bad experiences tend to stick to mind more than the good (defense mechanism). Anyways, overall I've experience to be of good quality. Recently I ordered their famous grilled wings and they were undercooked :( Oh well, we just ate around the undercooked parts. Also, the soda tasted flat and the waitress took it back and told the bartender. He didn't seem to appreciate it and had the waitress taste the drink! He seemed bossy and in a terrible mood. The place smells musky as it is a very old place. I'm afraid to find out what's hiding under that carpet. With so many options around this area, I think I will probably opt for another place next time.

I ordered take out, got home with the wrong wings, and I have to wait 45 minutes to speak to a manager?!?!? Are you kidding me???? Not giving my money to this place again. I even tipped on the takeout.

One of the best things about this locally loved place is that it's open late, 4am! I usually find myself going in late at night because of my work schedule. No mater what time the place usually has a good amount of people and very lively. Great music either from the radio, personal requests from the juke box, or an actual live band. The bar is kind of narrow but fits comfortably. Craft beer is on the slim side but a full liquor bar definitely won't disappoint. Has some of the best burgers around and the chicken wings are on point. Favorite burger of mine has a thick juicy burger with mozzarella, slice of tomato, fresh basil and drizzle of balsamic glaze! Mm so yummy. Pool table is always a good focal point towards the back and always seems to be entertaining a handful of people. TVs are all over as well, if you were interested in catching a game or sporting event. Plus I'm sure if you had a request I wouldn't be surprised if the bartender would change channel for you. Awesome place to have a casual night that you can find yourself spending some time relaxing without being confined to a single table or booth. Bar tenders were great, and very attentive. Two bartenders for this narrow bar which is great for productivity. Always a place I can depend on! Wish it had a couple upgrades to the decor/ambience though.

This is our "go to" neighborhood hangout to relax. My wife and I frequent this place about once a week. I thought the place was a bit of a dive but gradually warmed up to it. A colleague and I met for business and took advantage of the early-bird drinks and wings special. After that, I was hooked. The special is great, but it ends at 7:00 pm. I was only able to take advantage of this a few times. The buffalo wings are awesome! My wife and I both prefer the spicy, un-breaded version. The service is always friendly and professional, whether you're sitting at the bar, the booths, or outside. Beyond that, the rest of the menu is above average bar food. Chicken quesadilla, onion soup, spinach artichoke dip, chicken nachos are few standard orders for me. My wife continues to fuel her buffalo wings addiction. We've ventured into the hottest level on the wings once, it was still tasty but too hot for us to finish. The TV, jukebox, and live band completes the entertainment. Sports will dominates over everything. Live music is not scheduled if there's an important game, and the jukebox goes on pause. Note: the place attracts some family crowd early in the evening. Most people are considerate when it comes to the jukebox selection. Just be aware that sometimes, the lyrics may be inappropriate for children.

Great, fun place! Food was delicious, best burgers and wings in town! Staff was very nice even though they were very busy! Great place to watch the games, UFC and/or just chill with some friends for a drink!

My third time eating here and so far so good! The fried mozzarella is delicious i love their spin on it. Just finished the grilled cordon bleu sandwich and it was soo juicy and perfect. Everything i hoped it to be and more. Oh and I'm an onion ring freak and their onion rings are crispy and just soft enough inside i love them :)

I decided yesterday, on the spur of the moment to have dinner at Shenanigans. The waiter seated me, brought me a glass of wine quickly, and took my order for prime rib, which comes with soup and a side. I asked if I could substitute chili for the soup, since both were the same price on the menu. He wasn't sure, as he was new, so he left to go ask the manager. When he came back, he told me the manager wasn't sure and to ask the chef, and the chef said "no", so he was sorry. I asked him "how much do I owe you for the wine, I'm not staying". He went back inside (I was sitting on the patio) and came back to tell me that the manager now would authorize it, so I decided to stay. The chili was excellent, the prime rib was good - nothing special. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. My only two complaints were that my glass of red wine (Malbec) was in a smallish, white wine glass rather than a normal sized glass, and the incident with the substitution of the soup. I know it may sound like a small thing and not a good reason to get up and leave, but I've really had it with unreasonable idiots in management positions who just don't get that here in Hollywood, I have a LOT of places to choose from. Why on Earth would you not substitute one item for another when they are both on your soup list and both are the same price? I simply won't put up with that anymore. I guess age and experience have shortened my fuse and lowered my tolerance for BS like that. Anyway, the food was quite good, and the service (waiter) was also very good. The food came promptly, was well cooked, and was definitely hot. :)

If you need a break from overpriced haute cuisine and want to kick back in an unassuming, not presumptuous place, this is your spot. Great bar eats- burgers, fries, wings - all top notch, but with a few extras like alligator bites and a Mahi mahi sandwich to keep things interesting. Friendly staff, good food, affordable prices... This place has all the makings of your regular bar.

Love this place. But enough of the up charges for everything. Just charge a dollar more and give us everything we want... But honestly, I must say, awesome burgers, fantastic salads, really tasty good wings. Friendly staff, pretty good service. TV's everywhere, great to watch Heat & Marlin games. Would have given another star if it wasn't for the pet peave I have with upcharges... But pay me no mind, check it out, you will like it. Also great as a good ole waterin' hole.

Have loved this place since 1991. Prime rib sandwich is the best in town. However, prices have gone way up, service has gone way done. Relying on your past success to ensure your future is a dangerous thing to do in south Florida. Be careful guys!! See you Thursday.

The Best in Hollywood! We went to Shenanigan's last night with our 3 year old son, Shawn was our waiter and he was awesome! He was a charming departure from our usual cute but dippy waitress. he introduced himself and gave us drink/menu suggestions. We watched him as he worked his section- really amazing;.. his language skills seem to range from old person to ebonics, and everything in between.( Shenanigan's caters to a diverse crowd) He was very attentive and made the impromptu "date night" perfect for us, right down to packing our to go food in such a way that it would be perfect when we go it home, and he did this for us tableside- quite a spectacle. The food was delicious, we had some famously tasty wings and beer, and the meatballs and spaghetti that were offered on special and they were out of this world. looking forward to my well packed leftovers today! Thanks Shawn!!

This plaza has seen many changes but place has been here forever! The food is inexpensive and fresh. I love their wings, you get a bunch and they are really meaty. you can order to go or eat inside/patio. You will notice right away that it is a local place and at night it really gets busy. I have never had bad service or tried something I didn't like here. The management is good and the staff is really nice.

I went there tonight for the UFC 154 card. It's a small place, but it's nice and cozy. Nice flat screen TVs and the food was very good. The Shaq wings were great. The chicken nachos were fantastic and the buffalo chicken wrap I had was very good. Next time I go there I will definitely try the burger and the spinach dip. Service was okay, not great. Our server could have been a bit more attentive. But she was cute so it's hard to get really mad. My Wife loved her food too as did my boy who was there as well. Can't complain at all. Had a great time. Nice environment for the fight. Finally some people cheering a fight card on and not sitting on their hands the way I've seen at so many other sports bars that might as well be libraries. I will certainly go back for the next PPV UFC card. Unfortunately this was the only time this place was ever good. It has sucked ever since then.

I have to say, after moving from Florida to several other states, I have never found a BETTER BURGER, ever!! Shenanigans has been my favorite restaurant for 15+ years and my first stop when I'm in my hometown. Friendly staff, delicious drinks and a Bacon Cheeseburger that will leave you planning your vacation around how many times you can fit in a visit to Shenanigans.

The food was ok but not worth the very long wait. There were people that got there way after us and had their food before us. Not a fan.

The food here is pretty good. A lot of it is very unhealthy, though. The bar may have some drunk people. The pool tables are fun. Unfortunately, many people smoke at the outside tables. The inside is pretty dark and rock-n-roll style, but at night, the light of the dozens of TV screens displaying sports channels lights the place up. I would not recommend bringing children here, due to the smoking and drinking. The service has taken a long time the last few times I've been there. The booths are comfortable and the menu is large.

Good happy hour prices but the margarita wasn't the best I've ever had. Also had shrimp cocktail. They were fresh but for 6 relatively small pieces, they were probably not worth the price.

Great Food! We come for the Spinach Artichoke dip and the burgers are great. Very Local, everyone knows everyone, some servers have been there for years. Always a great beer selection, as in they always have at least one beer I like. This last fews times it's the arrogant bastard on tap.

According to the state of Florida, a marriage between a human being and Shenanigans' Thai Sweet & Spicy chicken wings is not legally binding. But, I promise you that the day this state ever gets its collective shit together and allows a man to marry the fried poultry he so deeply loves, you will all be invited to my wedding. Don't bother asking about being the best man, though. That honor already belongs to their Tons of Fries basket.

This place is my favorite local hang out! Their wings are amazing! They also have beer discounts and $5 for 10 wings special from 5-7!

this place is understandably so busy during the lunch rush. i've only been a handful of times but i fell in love with both the sports bar/ pub atmosphere and the delicious wings.

Good drinks, actually knew how to make a Superman, good place to hang out, great food (one of the better burgers locally) and good live music as well. Jessica and the staff there are the best. Always a good time.

Definitely recommend. All the sports bar ingredients; monitors everywhere, a different game on every one. Burgers, beer, wings all very good. The bar is big enough to seat maybe 20. Prices more than fair. The girls (Hooters style) are very nice.

Best "hang out" restaurant EVER! Great food, great atmosphere, and great staff! Food helpings are more than generous, with great quality in everything they serve. My favs are the wings, and burgers. Best place overall, to spend football Sundays!

Stopped in at Shenanigans for dinner and a beer after work while in Hollywood for business and was satisfied with everything. Good enough beer on tap and some very tasty buffalo wings. The atmosphere inside was nice and I was even able to catch the Angels game on tv which was nice being away from home.

I only had a chance to come here once on Sunday afternoon. I'm a huge fan of barbecued type of food. Their barbecue briskets are yummy and over flown with food that it is impossible to finnish all in one setting. Even though my plate was yummy, in my opinion, it lacked slightly on a barbecue/smokey taste. I'm used to super rich barbecue/smokey flavor so I don't fault them on lack of it, just haven't found "the" barbecue place that satisfies me 100 percent down here in SoFlo. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant and our waitress was very nice (sorry, forgot her name). Overall, I would recommend this place for everyone to try.

My family went there before tailgating at the Orange Bowl. I liked the place overall but they need some help with someone knowing how to work the TV's. 4 bowl games on and half the TV's were on ESPNnews. Asked the bartender to switch to ESPN2 and she ended up turning off one of the few TV's that had a game on. Kind of hard to rate a sportsbar highly if you can't see sports.

This is one of the best sports bar restaurants in Broward County. The food is great and the the drinks are very affordable. Ask for Liz at the bar.

OK, they really do have some of the best wings in South Florida, although I have recently come across some wing places that could give these competition! Great local crowd, "Regulars"... Happy hour specials are good, food is great, and the pitchers never run out!!! Awesome place to meet friends, watch games, and just let loose!

I was here for lunch today and the food was good.. Not fantastic but good enough where I would go back for lunch. My big issue with the place was there was this guy.. he called himself Drift and he was trying to get me to buy computer repair service from him and telling me his sad sack story about him losing his TV. Now I asked the staff if they could remove him since he was so drunk he stunk and could hardly speak but they didn't do anything. I was so pissed off I left and said I hope someone steals your TV again.

This place is awesome! Great place to hang out after work or late night. Great menu - the burgers are the best in South Florida. I highly recommend the "Shaq-n-grilled" wings as well. The sauce is a mixture of garlic, red pepper, parmesean, and several other things. Not a good idea if you're meeting up with your significant other later, the garlic will definately tell on you. But they taste GREAT! Everything I've had on the menu was very good.

Petty up charges... Been coming here way to long. I'm here in the restaurant now and we were told we were being charged a extra 4.00 to put the shag-n-sauce on the fried wings instead of the grilled... Of course the kitchen manager would not come out and speak to us, he sent the waitress first to tell us, the waitress sent over the bar manager over, which really made me feel uncomfortable! It's not like its cheap to eat here and the food was always very good, which the reason we came back again, but, we are no longer fans of shenanigans of Hollywood I give up.... Offering a free dessert doesn't take away the arrogance of the "kitchen" manger not even coming over to the table to explain or show any concern for a disappointed customer!!! The money is not the issue here. The issue is the fact that the manager doesn't give a crap about our complaint... This has happened on several other occasions and I just kept going back for more, because I do believe in supporting local business's and its close to us! We have even had bday party's there and brought half my daughters softball team there. Again. Same silly issues. I guess I gave it one too many chances and I'm personally offended and disappointed.

One of the things I miss most about South Florida since moving away 5 years ago. Definitely the best wings -- consistently huge and perfectly cooked. My favorite are the naked garlic w/ medium sauce (extra hot sauce on the side). Also not to be missed are the sweet potato fries.

I work down the street and have never really noticed this place until one day my bf said hey let's eat there. So we did. The place is a typical spors pub with a little bit of an Irish feel (my favorite kind). However, I went for lunch and didn't drink so it lost a little of it's charm. I ordered the clam chowder which wasn't bad at all. You could actually taste clams which I wasn't really expecting from this otherwise kinda dumpy looking place. I ordered a chicken wrap which was really dry and had no sauce and I didn't really like it. However, my bf had an awesome cuban sandwich. I probably would've given this place more stars if that was my meal. Who knew, a great cuban sandwich at an Irish pub...go figure.
