Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Great pizza at a great price. It's my go to spot when I am starving and in a rush. Also the only place I order pizza from when I have company over. The people are friendly. I usually order delivery because the restaurant itself is very small and seems to be a kids hangout spot so it gets loud.

They are fast, efficient and oh so good every time. My favorite is the spinach & mushroom pizzas as well as the supreme which is very good too. The ingredients are very fresh and the crust is thin like and crunchy but not hard where it irritates the roof of your mouth. Canolis are authentic and very tasty. This is a great find and enjoyed by everyone who I introduce it too. I look forward to trying lots of other items too.

The food is really good. I ordered a calzone, it was huge but it needed to be cooked a few more minutes. Delivery was on time, your usual 45 minutes or so. The girl taking to go orders over the phone needs to be nicer, she is always in a rush and has called back to ask questions because she forgets things like dressings and toppings. Good overall.

My roommates ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread from here a few weeks ago. Everyone thought it was pretty sub-par. The pizza was kind of dry and flavorless. Perhaps they use a "pizza machine" to make the pizza instead of an oven? Just kidding...we haven't ordered since. There are better choices in the area IMO

Called in the order at 6:40 on Tuesday night and they advised it would be 45 minutes for delivery. The food had still not arrived more than an hour later so we called to check on what had happened. Turns out THEY HAD DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS to what could only be a scumbag SOB who decided to keep food he hadn't paid for. They said they would remake the order and it would be out in 30 minutes, and they were prepared to give us a $5 discount. WHAT?!?!??? I grabbed the phone from my too nice bf and bitched to high heaven about how completely unacceptable this was. She dismissed me immediately and put me on hold. Came back and said they were prepared to offer it half off. And that they would hurry up and get there faster than 30 minutes if they could. Fine. I told her I wanted the receipt showing that the first order was completely voided so I don't see the charge on my credit card. The delivery guy arrived at the promised time and apologized for the mixup. He gave me the appropriate receipts. We had originally ordered the $17.99 pizza and wings special. We were charged $1 each for larger containers of ranch and blue cheese (which were not good); $1.75 to add pepperoni. Our original subtotal was around $25 and with the discount it was $12 and change. Thankfully the pizza was good. Although the "large" was more like a medium. We ate the whole pie which never happens even when we are famished. Don't expect New York oversized slices. The wings were kind of gross, too fatty for my taste. We will probably order again because the mistake was eventually handled and we did like the pizza. But what a clusterf*ck.

I order delivery from here usually a few times a month when my son stays over. We do the baked ziti dinner for 4. It comes with salad , rolls and baked ziti. Since there is only 2 of us we get 2 meals out of it. Well worth it. Ziti is always cooked perfectly and the rolls are good as well!

It's ok... I wont say it the best Pizza around. It is cheap for what you get. I have had better. But like I said you pay for what you get.

Fast delivery. .consistent food. The pasta sauce at their Miramar Parkway location is fantastic. My go to place for pizza delivery. The salads are also very good here and the salad dressings are house made. I usually get the Greek Salad. It has lots of feta cheese and olives. They also have a gorgonzola salad that is tasty and the Cesar dressing for their Cesar Salad is very good.

Fast delivery, convenient (ordering delivery online), however; the stuffed shells tasted like a pile of salt. :(

  • Andrea S.

It's..... OK. Got delivery and for 15 wings and a large pizza, it was a bit overpriced. The wings were actually pretty good, but the pizza could have been taken up a few notches. The crust was like cardboard, and there was hardly any sauce on there. I like thin crust, don't get me wrong, but usually you'd want some flavor on your cardboard.

There are not enough GOOD pizza joints in this area. There are a couple that I like, and Pizza Machine is one of them. Although it's not my favorite pizza place, I appreciate the fact that every time I order from them, they are usually faster than any other pizza delivery. Above that is the freshness of the pizza and their ingredients. I've never had a time where I have ordered from them and felt the food was stale or inedible. It has always been very hot, fresh and satisfies my whole family. And that is not an easy task! Overall good pizza place. My one complaint is that they could not redeem my yelp deal over the phone and it had to be through pick up. It would have been nice if it listed that information when buying the deal.

We had ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and honestly (coming from NY style pizza), I would never order it again. I can not speak for their other styles of pizzas, but this one was extremely salty and cold upon delivery-to the point we had to reheat the pie. In addition, the delivery guy must have had a bit of a slip up, as the cheese was on all over inside the box. Not one that I would be quick to recommend. Hopefully basic pies are better if we decide to give it another try!

The food is fine, the service sucks!!!! Im still waiting on my food an hour and a half after I ordered it. When we call the restaurant they say the driver is on the way, I wanted the driver to be on their way to make it here in the estimated time. I will never order from here again! They didn't offer compensation at all, the driver will NOT receive a tip!!!

Having ordered many times from many local pizza/take-out establishments including Pizza Machine previously, we placed an order last night at 6.55pm. At 7.40pm a female called to rudely inform us that they don't have garlic. I asked why it took almost an hour to start our order and discover they don't have garlic, and she replied. "We just got the order, we're busy, do you just want to cancel?" Possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. And my wife and I are both 'in the biz'. We usually give everyone a break knowing its a tough industry. They even charged my card and then sent an email saying it may take 5 days to give me my money back for pizzas I never got! We will NEVER use this company again. Rude, unprofessional and discourteous.

it was saturday afternoon and i was in the area, desperately looking for a restaurant that would deliver. i found two or three, of of which had below average reviews but i was hungry. i ordered through eat24, got some pasta in red sauce. not good. i knew it wasnt going to be great, i knew that. the pasta was ok but the sauce was a tragic. it had this citric taste. red sauce should not be acid. grounded beef is ideal when making meat sauce. this had little pieces of i-dont-know-what in it. i should have maybe ordered pizza but that would have been way too much... in the end, i ate 1/3 of the portion and that was it. ahhh la vida en el suburbio!

LOVED THEIR PIZZA! We ordered a white pizza with pepperoni. It was cheesy and delicious and the crust was amazing! I'm deducting 1 star for the wait on the phone and the wait at the store. When I called, I had to wait at least 4 minutes on hold before placing my order. I thought this was a good sign... a busy place means a lot of people like their food! And when the lady told me I could pick up my pizza in 7 minutes I was floored! Well, in reality, the pizza took about 20 minutes to make so I didn't appreciate having to wait in the store. While I waited, the lady was informed by her co-worker that she should give everyone an estimate of 20 minutes. Which to me sounds more mainstream. All in all, they should hire more staff to man the phones (at the very least) but we love the pizza and will definitely order from here again.

My family and I order from this place often enough to safely say that their pizza and service is consistent. The pizza is greasy, but very good. We usually just go with a cheese or pepperoni pizza and half a dozen order of garlic rolls. The rolls are best when they're eaten right away. If you have them as left overs, for some reason, they get a bit tough and chewy around the top half (still edible though). I've personally also tried the boneless BBQ chicken wings. They were good, just wish I would have had some blue cheese dressing to go with them. They're also a good size and fill you up on their own. I've also tried the sweet potato fries. Those were okay; kind of too big and overpriced ($5.99). They get soggy pretty fast. Wish they would make them smaller and crunchier :) This is definitely our go to pizza place for delivery. Always satisfied. Wait time for delivery never exceeds 30 min. Definitely recommend!

My family and I eat a lot of pizza so of course I'm always looking for a good pizza spot. We had the white pizza and garlic rolls. The pizza was awesome very light and great flavor. The rolls were also very yummy. Definitely will order from here again.

This is decent New York-style pizza in an area that is somewhat lacking with good pizza. The quality is pretty good (though they have their off days and aren't always consistent), and the prices are fairly standard for pizza (and I'm not talking about "fast food" pizza that you'd find at Pizza Hut or Papa John's). They used to have the King Pizza, which I got all the time. However, due to some price dispute with the company making the boxes, they stopped offering this pizza. Let me tell you, this thing was 30". I had to bring a car with a large trunk just to fit this pie, and then it barely fit through the doorway when bringing it into the house (you had to hold it on the bottom because your hands wouldn't fit through the sides). It was delicious, and huge. I miss it *sniff* Overall, a pretty decent place for the Pembroke Pines/Miramar area.

I enjoy this place, the pizza is good. The garlic bread is good they even use real garlic cloves.

I like it. This really probably should be a 3.5? I like it but apparently, according to my bf and people who probably eat a LOT more pizza than I, this place is okay. It's good for me though! Definitely ABOVE average! I had my first slice during Bible Club in high school about 8 years ago! Wow... I'm getting old! =-P
