Let's just start off with the service wasn't that great, only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 was because of the food and atmosphere. You are on the board walk in Hollywood Beach, and you are enjoying the great weather, great people and on top of it all Great Food. My Aunt got a slice of pizza, which she says wasn't all that great, but everyone else enjoyed the food tremendously. I had a Mediterranean plate Vegetarian style. It included a Greek Salad, with Tabbouleh, Falafel (vegi) and this leaf wrap that I am not sure the name of. Everything was fresh and very delish from the very perfectly fried with just the perfect hummus sauce Falafel and the Greek Salad with that fetta cheese was so good. My sister had a BLT Salad and Claim chowder soup. The soup I tried, it wasn't the best I've had but it had a lot of potatoes and claims you just couldn't go wrong. My mom had a greek salad and a dolphin sandwich, my mom and cousin had the same thing and said the fish just melted in your mouth GOOD! I took a Gyro to go for my boyfriend and he said it was AWESOME! I think I would definitely try this place again and hope that next time the service is better. The water took forever to come out and when it did they gave us small plastic cups with a pitcher full of ice that it only served for 2. Then my sister had asked for extra dressing and never got it, just slow service, but it made up for the food.

the only reason to come here is if you are at the beach and need to get out of the rain fast.

BEST DEAL FOR GOOD PIZZA ON THE BEACH. I'm a local and we have been coming out here regulalry for years. For $14, a pitcher of beer and a large pizza right on the Broadwalk can't be beat.... And we have tried all the other places that offer similar deals in the pizza is just nowhere near as good. Now, I agree with some of the others use about the other food and restrooms, but we go there for great affordable evening to enjoy the beach and a great pizza.

  • Roger B.

Warning....don't go into the restroom until after you eat because you probably won't want to even touch anything until you've showered. The service was horrible. After the waitress slung our plates down on the table we really never saw her again except to see her flagging down unsuspecting passerbys trying to lure them into the place. No second drinks, need anything else.....nothing. My wife's spanakopita was charred on the bottom yet only luke warm. The feta on the greek salad was tiny crumbled bits. I got the gyro wrap with a side salad that I presumed was going to be a greek salad but was actually only some wilted lettuce. All for an overpriced amount.

Food Super sucks!! Come if u like fake chkn n greasy fries. ughhh looks and taste bad.

Run away. Four of us. Spanakopita was burnt. Lettuce on our salads was brown. One chicken skewer was raw, the other burnt. The feta was all crumbles. The only positive was that the waitress was cute. Go to Sahara next door.

  • Ronni E.

I should have been more patient and waited for a table next door at Sahara - the food there tastes better and reasonably priced...Nothing went right here. Souvlaki was not warm enough, did not have enough spice to be considered Greek. Gyro was low on meat and you could tell it was sliced way earlier and somebody put on the grill to reheat it. Even my kid's cheese pizza was a failure. She asked for diced garlic and got the processed garlic with all of the oil/preservatives that make that garlic tart out of the jar. The only one that liked their food was my 4 year old - grilled cheese sandwich! To top it all off, i had the owner/female hovering over me to hurry up to pay the check so they could seat someone else.

I have to say I really enjoyed my first visit to Hollywood Beach. My friend and i walked up and down the beach looking for some thing to eat and Finally decided on this place. There a gang of places offering Pizza and a Pitcher but we picked a winner at $14. The Oasis also has good appetizers. We had the Calamari and the Jalapeno Poppers. We ate pretty darn good by the sea and the view of bare beer bellies and sun burned tourist made for great table conversation. I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other food.

About as overpriced as it is awful. My advice: there is a fabulous Greek restaurant right next door... just keep walking and go there instead. The service was terrible; the server was rude and had no interest in coming over to our table. The food was disgusting... they advertise having your classic bar fare, so we ordered a ($9) plate of nachos. The picture showed melted cheese and vegetables... but the plate we were brought was soaked in that orange nacho-sauce you see at movie theaters... no cheese, no vegetables, just a shotglass of salsa on the side. We had originally planned to order some grape leaves and falafel, but after seeing the quality of food they were offering, we decided to pass.

The first time here 2 years ago just OK. This year just bad news. First thing the menus were filthy. After ordering went to the bathroom to wash. Used it after waiting for an employee to come out, and when he did I saw a cigarette in his hand. Of course the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke. My gyro platter was OK, but my wife's spinach cheese calzone was made with CANNED spinach. A big difference from fresh spinach . Soon after the floor was mopped with a Clorox solution, a new aromatic experience for us in a restaurant. Oasis is right next door to a better Greek restaurant. You'll be able to tell the difference by the number of patrons.

Came here with my bf and his family, we got the $13.99 pizza deal with free beer! What a deal! The pizza was huge and fed 5 people well. The free pitcher of beer was a nice addition. I got angry orchard, cause I like that beer, but it wasn't available in a pitcher. The host took a table from inside and brought it outside for us, it was a really nice experience.

The food is amazing. Don't let the Greek part turn you away. they have great American food. The drinks are also great and a great price. Definitely a must try when walking down the boardwalk.

Had a salad here it was ok but they count their tomatoes and cucumber more lettuce had the grill chicken salad it was a pretty dry salad the menu were worn out you can't barely read it and the drinks felt like mon alcoholic even if you pick alcohol overall I think I won't be going here they charge service fee is included so you can choose how much you want to tip with there service

  • Nicole R.

The price is right, but I would have preferred to pay more for a better product. My kids had a small pepperoni pizza, which was fine.i had a slice that I added items to - that was a big mistake. Just order a plain cheese and beers and you'll be fine here. Don't get fancy.

Oh ...there is not enough words to explain how bad that place is.I am not picky at all,but I think thats the most disgusting place Ive ever been to in my entire life. Its a TOURIST TRAP only because of the great location. At first the waiter provided as with super dirty and sticky menu. it was unpleasant to touch!!!our table was wiped with a dirty towel and also it was still crumbs left over.we waited 4 waters but they only gave us two.the nasty plastic glasses were both broken and were leaking, after I told them to exchange no one did !!!! Our silverware was dirty and I asked them to change it!!!the guy that served us madly trow the clean ones on the table...how rude! Afterwards the food came.I still was hoping that at least the food will be good, but NO!!! The most plastic chicken It tasted like it was from the garbage,it also has unpleasant smell of dirty socks. I paid and left quickly without finishing my food. Guys pls don't waste your money and time to go to this place! They also have super old tables and their bathroom needs a cleaning because it stinks. I mean the owner only probably waits on tourists to come and after 1 time they never come back. Im sure this place has no regular customers. I mean this restaurant wont pass an expectation for cleanliness for sure it probably has a so much bugs in the kitchen. I mean there is so much more to write negative but I don't want to get too mean. Just stay away from there!!!!!!!!

In all honesty this wasn't even remotely my choice to eat here, we had driven out to eat at a restaurant a few stores down. Nothing but the view is appealing. Any way the nice lady invited us in to each so my family surrendered to her charm. We sat down facing the ocean, fans above cool you down a bit but don't go in jeans... its too hot for that. The menus are old and dirty, as well as their pictured signs. Again, unappealing. I ordered the greek salad with gyro meat, it came with tzatziki and a pita. Ultimately the salad was a little less than ok but I was hungry and didn't want to complain. My cousin ordered the falafel sandwich which was very heavy on the salt, which kinda kills the sandwich. The rest of the family ate a gyro platter which was ok. On the up side though, the waitress was more than helpful and attentive. She kept checking to make sure everything was ok, even joked around with us for a bit which is something my family loves. I probably won't go back for the food, if anything we would probably go just because of the waitress. (Today Jun 9th, theres construction on the main street that leads here, you can find parking a block south)

Came here with my family because they said they have good cheap pizza. They had a pizza and pitcher of beer special for $13.99. Not bad. We also got to sit outside on the boardwalk which was nice. The pizza is good and for the price and atmosphere it's great.

This. Place is Great! The family owned restaurant, where you will find the ambience of a beach setting, awesome beer, fabulousGreek hummus and wonderful waitstaff! My husband and I went for a night out without the kiddos, we frequent the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk and have never stumbled upon this little hideaway, it's a wonderful location, you can hear the music from the Hollywood stage and friendly patrons walking up and down the boardwalk! We enjoyed two pictures of beer a slice of pizza and their homemade hummus and pita bread which was absolutely fabulous!

  • Annie S.

A big group of us were walking on the Hollywood walk today and decided we wanted to have an alcoholic beverage. We also had two teenagers with us who wanted ice cream. There is a Ben and Jerry's right next door so we asked the owner if it was okay that they ate their ice cream with us. The owner was very rude in telling us that it was not okay. As a restaurant manager myself, I understand you don't want outside food, however it was ice cream and we were all going to order, also it was 3:00 not a busy time. I will not go back after the rude treatment we received. The Taco Spot down the way graciously allowed us to have a drink while the kids ate ice cream from next door in their restaurant.

Horrible horrible. Do not eat here. Service was terrible... The food is not fresh... If you order an app, expect it with your food. They advertise pizza when they are a Greek place. The kids hated their food and the chicken was tasteless. Just go somewhere else.

    (1)
  • Gionna S.

If there was no star option here I would give this place that rate. I hade the gyro chicken platter, it was so nasty the chicken was burned and bitter the salad was not fresh at all. It was a waste of money.

There was mold in my beer that the waitress tried to pass off as the "yeast" from the taps. When we told her that is not how it works, she told us we could talk to the bartender but it wasn't her job because she was just the waitress. Then, when we got our bill, there was a total in ink and then she crudely wrote on top of it with pen, including a 20% tip for herself. I have never written a bad yelp review before, but this was too far!

    (1)
  • Carolina D.

BEWARE. Food is nasty and they automatic charge you 25% tip!!!! They write it with pen after the total charges consumed !!! Sooo you do not have a choice but to pay what they think they deserve !! Horrible stradegy from management because the waiter know what they are getting regardless of the service. During my ordering she had food in her mouth and was sweaty, now i understand why the little effort to impress etc. No wonder the place is empty!!! Dont make the same mistake you will leave disappointed !!! I've been to many restaurant , this one you do not want to try!

  • Vicky T.

I can only recommend their pizza special and wings, try the other food at your own risk (not very good from what I've tried). It is a bit dirty but that's to be expected since this is open space and right next to the beach. The pizza is solid and at a great price with a pitcher of beer (I get a fountain drink instead).

  • Jeanne B.

Decent location and view. Our waitress was horrible but luckily her coworkers took up the slack. Food was ok but I have definitely had better gyros at the mall. I don't think I would go back again though.

  • Paul D.

Worst ever take on Greek food like we were eating in a condemned resturaunt that had opened for the day. they had the nerve to add 18.5 % gratuity to the bill..avoid this place at all costs..there are much better tastier options on Hollywood beach. Organic Brewery is just a 1/4 mile walk further and 8 times better...Hollywood beach restaurants have backslid severely...Should HAVE stayed home in Ft. LAUDERDALE!!!

    (1)
  • Pedro D.

Their french fries with parmesan cheese and pizza's are OK but their gyros and beer quality options are not up to part. I also think the quality of the food and their prices are too far apart. I have found better places in Hollywood with better food quality and more affordable prices.

  • Sandra M.

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is AWFUL!!!! I am a local. I have been living in this area for over 30 years and I will assure you there are so many other restaurants on Hollywood Beach with better food, better prices, and better service. Let me start by saying the people that own this place have no customer service skills. NONE!!!! The owner and his son are the most arrogant people who could care less about your experience in their establishment. Our food was terrible. We ordered the wings as an appetizer. They came out the same time as our entree, which isn't that big of a deal but they sucked. They were hard as a rock and waaaaay overcooked. I had the chicken divine sandwich. INEDIBLE. It was cold and looked liked the chicken had been sitting out awhile. My husband had the Gyro wrap which he said was mediocre, until his started getting an upset stomach. Long story short.... the owner came to our table and we showed him the food and told him how unhappy we were. His response was to shrug his shoulders and say :everyone loves our food" well guess what???? If you read any reviews of this place NO ONE likes your food buddy. He would not even take my chicken sandwich (which I did not touch) off the bill. We had to argue with the son just to get our tab corrected. I have NEVER in my life had this sort of an encounter at a restaurant. #1 Shame on you to not offer us something else #2 How dare you charge me for food I did not eat. Needless to say this place is just DISGUSTING and we will not be returning. Save your self time and money and go somewhere else.

This place was alright, wasn't the best. The food was over priced. Our bill came out to be about $70, we paid about $80 because they included the tip. The atmosphere was alright, I was expecting more. One of the cook, I'm guessing the head cook, seemed very aggravated. I wasn't complaining about not having my food, but he kept shouting "it's coming ! It's coming!" I don't know, it was a waste of money.

  • Desiree Z.

Not very good at all. Pizza was edible but nothing to rave about, customer service was not ok it seemed the waitresses were in a rush everywhere and it wasnt even that busy. I think the free pitcher of coke with the pizza was a decent deal however I was never told that the second pitcher that the waitress brought without anyone asking for more was 8 dollars. I didnt find out until the bill came. The seats and menus seemed kind of sticky. Also thr bathroom sink was missing a knob and it wasnt very clean. I would never go again, keep walking down the broadwalk and you will find better spots.

  • Kristine E.

We enjoyed a great cheese pizza and pitcher of cold beer at this beach side restaurant. The sauce was flavorful, the beer was cold and the wait staff was attentive. We fed our family for under $20- practically unheard of these days! It was the perfect way to end an afternoon of strolling on the boardwalk. We'll definitely be back!

    (4)
  • Liz N.

the 2 stars is for $14 large pizza and 1 pitcher of beer special.. that is crazy unheard of.. but def plausible given the nastiness of their pizza and beer. ugh.

    (2)
  • Linda B.

Was lured in on the Broadwalk by the manager said he had the best gyros on the strip sadly to say it looked like a rollup with the little center of meat. Greek salad was nothing special head lettuce cucumber and some feta and onion there were two of us we had a few drinks and they added gratuity I couldn't believe it I will never return to this place

    (1)
  • Noah J.

Check your itemized statement!!!! They included tip in the receipt and didn't tell us, expecting us to pay twice. Not worth the service. Food was ok.

    (2)
  • Jessica B.

would never recommend this place. first off i came in with a stroller and granted the restaurant was busy but the staff standing around did not offer to help nor more the chairs aside with they say me struggling to push my way to a table. We waited for ever to get menus wile people sitting after us where putting there order in, upon receiving our order the waitresses starts putting everything in front of me and my toddler daughter saying i don't know who ordered what, mind you we had a table of 7, i expected much of her being she kept stumbling everywhere. food was cold and not tasty at all. check was unreasonable and they added tip

We go here every week and it's an amazing deal! The atmosphere is amazing, right next to the beach, the food is inexpensive and delicious. I would highly recommend it!

Good place on the beach for breakfast and coffee

    (5)
  • Michelle M.

We visited this week and the food was not good and the service was terrible. The only reason this place is open is because of the unsuspecting tourists.

    (1)
  • Keith A.

The food was edible, that's literally the only good thing there is to say about this place. They do not offer fountain Soda, their gyro meat was overcooked and bland, their falafel was devoid of flavor and unusually crispy, the salad was more of a pile of dry lettuce with feta chesse sloppily piled on the side of the plate, and they even somehow managed to screw up curly fries, an accomplishment that I thought to be impossible. Do not eat here under any circumstances
