The food is pretty good. Closer to home cooking than to restaurant fare. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is comfortable and the prices are more than reasonable. $12 pp if you follow the tip below. 3.5 stars but I'm erring on the side of Christmas so they get 4. Their portion sizes are obscene to the point of being embarrassing. The empanadas are pretty good. Listed as an appetizer for $5, I imagined the three empanadas to be two-bite sized. In reality, one empanada would have been more than enough. The same goes for the tamal with pork appetizer. We imagined an appetizer-sized tamal with pork filling. What we were served was a huge corn tamal with at least a pound of lechon asado piled next to it. What my mother would refer to as "porción de camionero." The main courses (we canceled at least two after being served the apps.) are also huge which I don't find too pleasant because of my lack of self-control...waddling to the car is not enjoyable for spectators nor participants. The only reasonable way of tackling Las Vegas is to order one appetizer and one main course for every two people in your party which is too bad because variety goes out the window. Stay away from the sangria or the iced tea! Stick to water and drinks prepared and bottled somewhere else.

My wife had been here before and thought it was very good, but was disappointed that it wasn't as good the second time. Ropa Vieja okay, tasty but not much of a serving served with count 'em 3 pieces of plaintain. Sandwiches good deal -Media noche very good seemed large, we took half home but we were only charged for a half sandwich, same with a ton of plantain chips . The best was the flan and very good expresso.

I probably eat here much more than I should. We routinely dine in and get take-out, depending on our mood. Las Vegas is our favorite Cuban restaurant and it is consistently good. My personal favorite is the Lechon Asado (Roast Pork). The portions are huge and we are usually left with enough for lunch the next day. The prices are more than reasonable. Las Vegas is clean, well decorated and has good service. I've never had a bad meal there. As far as parking goes, if you've never been it's important to note that there is more parking on the side of the restaurant and it can often get full later in the day.

As a Cuban American I always appreciate authentic Cuban food. This place knows how to cook!!! Atop of that, the service is second to none. Everyone is so attentive and my server, George, is truly a pleasure!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The best chicken filet of any Cuban restaurant. The avocado salad is great and a must have if its in season. The beans and rice and plantains are the same consistent delicious accompaniment to your entree. I have been eating here for almost twenty years and the food is always the same and perfect every time.

Family run business, good food, no crazy dress code... Just come and enjoy good hearty food. Parking sucks, but that's the one bad thing.

This is the only place I will eat Cuban food outside of Calle Ocho! Everything is so simple but delicious and made perfectly. The service is always great and the staff makes you feel like family.Love every location they have too!

THE BEST HISPANIC FOOD EVER! La carretta is horrible compared to Las Vegas. They give you free bread with butter before your meal with an olive oil on it that is addicting and every dish on the menu is authentic and delicious. My favorite spot to go eat Spanish food

After getting a round of golf in I saw LV Cuban Cuisine on Yelp and was not disappointed. The place is located in a big box shopping center where there was ample parking. It was a weekday and HH Mojitos were only $2.75 each and lunch specials were served until late afternoon. The friendly waitress brought out complimentary bread and I chose the skirt steak lunch special which was just under $12.00 The steak was cooked perfectly and came with plantains, black beans and rice which complimented the beef perfectly. Ended up having several Mojitos which made this place a perfect 19 hole stop. Come to find out Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine has several locations in the area which explains how they can be so competitive. I would definitely return here again.

This restaurant is not a great representation of a cuban restaurant to say the least. The only reason I visited this establishment was to indulge in a hot crunchy tostada (pressed cuban bread). To my dismay, I received a dry pressed tostada with NO butter whatsoever. It's not the fact that there was no butter that makes this restaurant so medicore, but the fact that it took me fifteen minutes to get the waitress' attention while she was eating.....then I got a replacement with a strip of melted butter down the middle....... their special milanesa sauce was off as well. The atmosphere is a tad tense, there isn) no music, which makes it painfully quiet. And what kind of Cubans don't have Arroz con leche? enough said.

We dine in or take out about once a month. We were having out of town company and had no time to cook. I called and asked about ordering take out but I didn't want to order separate meals. Giselle took time to help me decide what to order and what to ask for when I call back later that day to place my order. She also told me to speak with Renee when I called back. Renee was also very helpful and made suggestions on how much food to order. I was actually ordering too much and the amount Renee suggested was perfect with some left overs. Some of our guests never had Cuban food before and really liked it. Thank you Las Vegas for helping me enjoy my company and impress them with a great meal!

Absolutely disgusting. Really disappointed...ate at another location and was all right but this is just a joke. I ordered a churrasco cooked medium and it looks like I got either the world's skinniest churrasco or the wrong steak and it is practically charred. When I tried complaining the woman on the phone argued with me and said no one ever complains. Not only is it not what I wanted but it's so incredibly salty I couldn't even finish it. I never call food disgusting but this absolutely was.

The food at the branches is delicious, but at this particular location the service is TERRIBLE! I called to place an order at 1 pm I went to pick it up around 1:45 pm after being told it would only take 25 minutes. I had to wait until 2:30 to receive my food, which ended up being nothing of what I ordered. When I returned to get the correct food the lady GISELA, which claims to be the manager but cannot be considering she has no people skills, at the counter was extremely rude and had the audacity to laugh about the fact that she doesn't know how to properly take an order. I will definitely never be returning. not to this one at least.

I've been coming to this location since I was about 6 years old. It's so consistent. The staff is always pleasant. The flavors are right on! Love the palomilla, the pollo with or without breading, the rice and beans, and oh their plantains are my favorite.

Cuban food nicely prepared and served. My husband started with Chicharron de Pollo - incredibly tasty chunks of chicken. I had the Papa Rellena - Potatoes filled with ground beef. I had expected this to be more like a croquette, but it was more like hollowed out potatoes with ground beef. It was ok. For the main dish, we both had Churrasco (skirt steak) with shrimp. It was pretty tas. The portions are a good size, and they definitely don't skimp on the sides. The atmosphere is fine - nothing special but clean and comfortable.

I'm in a food coma right now... I've eaten so much! I had their lunch special ropa vieja, which came out to around $10. I came here with a coworker, and we ordered our meals to-go. We waited around 10-15 minutes, which is not bad. The meal was a generous serving of shredded beef, white rice, black beans, and plantains. And it tastes like grandma's cooking. It might sound weird to say, but I kind of wish their lunch portions were smaller, because I tend to overeat when food is tasty... and I do not want to step on a scale right now. Off to the gym I go!

Food: Just okay Service: Prompt Price: Good lunch specials ($7+) I had forgotten I had already tried this place, so visited again during the Christmas break with my sister in law. The chicken noodle soup was quite good, and at a good price. My churrasco skirt steak was $12 for lunch and sub-par. And their chimichurri sauce left me wanting my husband's version. Maybe it was an off day.

Great service and the chicharrones de pollo are bursting with flavor. The black beans and rice are delicious and the ensalada de aguacate is always fresh and the aguacate is just ripe. Fast friendly service and the prices are reasonable considering they give you so much food. I go for lunch with my colleagues and we're never disappointed. Really good lunch specials.

Avocado salad - tasty and fresh. Black bean soup - yummy, and the bowl was huge! Tamales - just okay, and not very warm. Yuca - yummy, and generous plateful (more than we could finish). Cortaditos - yummy. Pressed bread with hot garlic butter came to the table right away and was refilled for us. Friendly service.

I love this place! This very well could be my favorite restaurant of all time!!!! Every time I come to the area I come here. If I'm here for more than four days I come twice. I would come every day but the company I'm with wants variation, silly people!! I've tried many food items and all of them are successes!!! I highly recommend the avocado salad. Just writing this review is making me very hungry for Las Vegas!!!!

I was stuck at a tire shop on a sunday afternoon with my friend on 441 which happened to be walking distance to Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine. The name of the place plus the look of it from the outside would normally deter me but i didn't really have a choice in this case. I had the Chicken fricase lunch special. It was cheap and good, nothing special but worth the price. Overall, this place is cheap and pretty clean and worth it if you're stuck at a nearby repair shop. good service
