Awesome subs. We are from Las Vegas and it's nice to eat at a family owned business and not a chain. When I return to see my family I will definitely eat here again. The meat was fresh and also the bread. You can't beat the price you pay for such a yummy sub.

Decided to check this place out after the gym and I was very impressed. Grabbed a spicy Buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it. Despite being very close to closing, the meat was very fresh. Perhaps the most impressive was how tasty the bread is at the end of the day. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Would like to see more diversity in drinks though. Overall solid place, fast service, great food and good price. Verdict 4.5 stars.

Pretty good subs.. They have "dirty" chip brand chips. They are the best. I like the fact they have small sides of coleslaw and potato salad. Quiet place with pretty fast service.

LOVE Jack's! I'm a big subs fan and Jack's is my go-to in Miramar. The meats are sliced fresh right in front of you and the bread is always soft and fresh. Nice and casual atmosphere..good service. 5*

The sandwiches are delicious and always fresh. Absolutely love the hot pastrami sandwich, with everything on it! Love the little rice pudding they have also. the place is always packed for lunch! Get there early. You will never go back to any of those chain sub shops again, there is absolutely no comparison

The cashier was very helpful and friendly. The store was empty when I went in so no wait at least. I ordered an antipasto salad, which took a while to prepare. The salad was pretty tasty but a bit underwhelming. It is a pretty decent place to stop by and order lunch.

I love Jacks! Every time I'm in the area I make sure to come here. The bread is super soft and their meat is really fresh. If you want a delicious sub, go to Jacks!! Way better than big chains.

Have a good sandwich very limited on toppings another sandwich shop my bad if you're on the go

Sub sandwiches (#8 turkey and cheese) were very large and very good. But the wait was way too long, about 30 minutes, and we were not there during prime time. The staff seemed disorganized, and didn't work well together. Many customers were patiently waiting for their food and notably irritated. And they ran out of salad - two customers had ordered while we were there, but weren't told they were out of salad until their order was at the sandwich prep area. We won't go back.

My review is based on only one visit and one sub, the Meatball Parm. This basic yet classic sub is a true measure of a real Sub Shop, in which Jacks fails. To begin the meatballs are definitely NOT homemade, poorly seasoned and pretty much mush. The bread was nothing to rave about. On the bright side, customer service was great, friendly faces and polite staff. Pricing does not match the quality of the food. I would not return.

Subs are good, but I get bothered by the delivery service. $25 minimum for delivery is pretty ridiculous for a sub shop. Jimmy Johns delivers me an $11 sandwich FREAKY FAST. Sandwiches are relatively good, but I don't think they'll replace Jimmy Johns in my book. Always have to look at your competitor and beat their service. You have a good gem here, try to extend business hours and switch up the delivery requirement. I mean Burger King delivers with the minimum being $10. Maybe setup a close route for deliveries....much like Jimmy Johns that can guarantee quick good delivery because they operate deliveries on a 3 mile radius from their store. Makes sense.....

Fresh fluffy bread and fresh cold cuts fresh is the word and it's delicious. Call ahead and avoid the lines also I noticed they have a coffee bar in the back so if you're craving a little caffeine a latte cappuccino down the side in order yourself a coffee

Was there yesterday and was great roast beef was great. Fresh veggies and bread to die for. This ain't no subway sandwich this is the real deal.

Went back again. Even slower. what used to be fun energetic staff seems numb and just disinterested. Perhaps as a result of that the sub this time just did not taste good. I won't go back. And this was at least a once a week stop. Sorry but service has gotten slow enough to lose a star. Watched 5 people walk out today. Still love the sandwiches but hate the wait

I suggested to my husband to get subs for dinner since it was getting late. I have a 3 year old; and 11month old twins that were in the car with me, while my husband went in and got subs. My husband came back to the van & said " I didn't get our oldest a sub because they don't sell children's sub's unless the child is present." That's messed up, I'm not going to wake my child so he can get a damn sandwich. Horrible. I got home & my husband forgot to tell me," oh yeah, they were out of lettuce too.."

Don't know what's up with Jacks anymore, used to come here all the time and it was awesome but the last 3 times, 1st ordered sub with everything except hot peppers, was given sub with lettuce and tomato only.. 2nd ordered sub same way on white bread, was given sub on whole wheat bread, this time once again ordered sub with everything was given lettuce tomato onions only.. Also the portion of meat seems to be significantly smaller than what they used to give. Haven't seen the owner here these last 3 times and they seem to have a whole new staff so perhaps it's new ownership? Still better than Subway but average at best and if you want to receive the right toppings be sure to watch them make it lol Really disappointed this place used to be amazing :(

We've been coming here for over two years and we just love that the ingredients haven't changed. They're still fresh and delicious! The staff is always very friendly and courteous. The establishment is always clean which is a definite plus in our book. The prices are great and the menu selection is good too. We recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh subs!

Living out here in West Pines, there aren't many sub shop options aside from your chain shops like Subway, Publix, or Firehouse. I like those sandwiches I guess but it's been quite a while since I had a really good sandwich with real pickles, real sweet peppers, etc. so needless to say, anything remotely similar to a real sub will satisfy me. I went to Jack's after yelping "great subs" on my phone. We ordered two Long Board Vegetarian sandwiches with all the toppings and it was fantastic! It hit the spot since I had been craving a good sub all day. I immensely enjoyed my sandwich. The bread was good, the veggies were deliciously fresh and I have no complaints at all. The staff was great and very courteous and you can bet I'll be back here when I need another sub sandwich fix. So happy they opened up shop here! It's still a little far as I live very far west but I don't mind traveling to the Kohl's plaza for this place. I'll just wait until that I-75/Miramar Pkwy traffic dies down to go. Yayyyy!!!

Whenever I'm in a rush to grab a bite, I instantly look for a sub place to try and be as "healthy" as possible. I used to work a few doors away from Jack's and the day I tried it, I was instantly hooked. I eat at this place almost every day. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff is very friendly. BIG 5 STARS to this place!

To me this place is just your average run of the mill sub joint. I ordered the large sub with turkey and roast beef. The sub was probably about a foot long and cost nearly 10$. The sub had all the turkey on one side and roast beef on the other, which I wasn't a fan of. They give huge portions of meat so trying to bite into both sides at the same time is impossible so it felt like I was eating two different subs the whole time. The bread was really chewy and soft as well. It was as if they didn't bake it long enough. I asked for provolone cheese and I'm pretty sure they gave me white american cheese, and the cheese was literally paper thin. I had to do some detective work on my sub just to find that thin piece of cheese, it was there but hardly could notice. They also added pickles to my sub, which was a nice gesture I guess but I didn't order pickles. All in all, I would say these subs are just average at best. The meat wasn't very tasty, the bread was too chewy, and the toppings are not all that. The subs are pretty big if you have the appetite. But I'd rather have a Publix sub.

ehhh its nothing i cant put together with some publix deli meat. next..

Cant ever eat at subway after eating at Jack's. Best subs ever from the fresh bread to the cold cuts sliced right when you order. Want to try their new breakfast menu.

This is one of the best (if not the best) sub shops in Miramar. The meat is freshly sliced and the other ingredients seem to be fresh as well. You definitely get your money's worth here. On the downside, the floor and tables tend to be dirty. I can understand during lunch about a mess but not when there are only a few people in the restaurant. Also, one time my wife called and the guy on the phone she gave her order to hung up on her as she was trying to add to the order. Needless to say she was unhappy and so was I and we promptly called them back and cancelled the order. I'm sure everyone has an off day and that was the first time we had bad customer service there so we gave it a pass. Overall, Jack's is a great place to eat and if they can fix those few things (maybe get some free Wi-Fi) it will be even better.

Roast Beef, I always get the roast beef sandwich when I come to jacks. They have a large menu selection of salads and sandwiches but the roast beef is just so good I can pull myself in another direction to try a new item. One of the cool things about this restaurant is the way they prepare the meat for the sandwich. They actually slice the roast beef and other meat(s) at the time of the order. This makes for a very fresh and wonderful taste. This combined with their soft bread makes for the perfect sandwich.

Mom and Pop sub shop that's always packed for lunch. Luv them cus they're not stingy with the ingredients, and there's lots of choices for hot and cold subs, whatever you're in the mood for. However, not to many options for sides, but with the yummy subs, who cares :)

Food is AWESOME, service was OUTSTANDING, however I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in the owner's policy... Service was so good I wanted to tip the employees but one said "We can't accept tips, we only accept smiles". Well I like to show my appreciation with good service by tipping and I refused to take my tip back. When I asked "If you don't accept tips, then why is there an option to leave a tip on the credit card slip?" Answer: "We never see those". Looks to me like the owner is stealing the employees tips on credit card purchases, and why would the owner tell the employees not to accept cash tips if they go above and beyond? Not only an insult to the customer, but a huge insult to the employees. Next time I go I'll be tipping 100% of my bill (in cash), and will make sure I do it right in front of the owner. Hope others will do the same.

Very clean sub shop with a good selection sub ingredients and salads. Rather empty on a lazy Saturday afternoon but apparently their weekday lunches are busy. Very friendly staff and the pastrami sub was delicious made with very fresh premium ingredients. Definitely will come back.

I have never ate tuna sandwich in my life. However receptionist introduce me one this time. It was amazing. Taste so good, the bread was soft , and new taste. I like it. Will tried more flavor that they have next time. This is a great customer service and great subs place that I have been . You should try to see

Sad tuna sandwich. Due to lethargy and lack of spread, the first bite consisted solely of bread, while the second consisted of tuna. See picture. First and last visit.

Another great restaurant hits the skids when original ownership sells. They've gone from clean restaurant with attentive staff to dirty tables, frozen lettuce, out of produce toppings and a manager that needs training on how to handle customers. We won't be going back again nor will our office use them for catering anymore. Such a shame because they always were our favorite sandwich place. I can't stand Panera cold cuts so now I need to go back to publix I guess.

I can't believe that there is a $25 minimum order for deliveries. I'm a utility worker and most of the time I order delivery because I can't leave the work site.

Insane portions! Friendly staff. Perfectly executed roast beef. Perfection. The bread is fresh and so are all the toppings. I can't think of other ways to praise them and I'm never speechless. Go! Go now!

I've never left Jacks disappointed. Every time I've gone I've always had a fresh sandwich. Its the only sub place my daughter will eat. Sometimes you may have to wait, but I never mind waiting a few extra minutes for good food.

Great place for lunch break or quick snack. Can occasionally get a little messy inside during lunch peak hours, but the subs are totally worth a little messy table or two!

To the proprietor. Jack's started out great. The last two visits weren't great. Please be great again for the people that give you their money. Last visit was short board #2. August 27, 2014. I was asked what toppings I wanted. When prompted, I replied yes no, or atempted to explain what I preferred. Asked for oil, vinegar, s&p, oregano, tomatoes, onions, and extra hot peppers. I got lettuce and tomatoes. Lettuce tasted like dirt and was transparent. Tomatoes consisited of two quarters of a small slice and were translucent. Not worth the money...$9.00 for fountain drink, chips, and half your favorite sandwich when it doesnt have the toppings that were agreed upon. I had to respond to what she was asking and in the order that was scripted. I was not in control of my order. The cashier wouldn't acknowledge my reponses to the scripted toppings and when I asked for choices that she didn't ask me to order or not, there was stiil no confirmation. The Worse part is no one cared that it was wrong. Previous visit. Antipasto salad... It was prepped at least a day before it was sold to me. Meat - Not portions thet were consistent with previous salad. It had the aftertaste of metal and a strong odor. All vegetables were translucent and tasted like the bad meat. Cheese was discolored on edges and hard and smelled like old Cheese. I didn't eat it. Don't wast your money. Go to McDonald's.

Probably the best Ham and roast beef sandwich by far... a little dissapointed with the meatball though. I asked to try it before orderi.g thr sandwich so they brought.me .a sample.of the meat ball. And whoah! Super salty and you can taste the freezer burn in that ball. Really dissapointed wa..looking forward to the meat ball.sandwich.

  • Shandi B.

This place was pretty average... I had a ham and cheese sub, which is my standard order at any sub place. They do slice the meat to order, which is nice, since I prefer my ham tissue-paper thin. All in all, there was nothing about this place that would make me want to come back. Sorry, Jack.

If your looking for a sub shop then this is the place. I've been coming here for the last 2 years and have always had good sandwiches made by these guys. They serve a lot of meat in your sandwich and just the way you want it. They had a card they punch which after you buy 10, the next one is free. I've been able to take advantage of this program about 4 times already. It always saves me a lot of money by the end of the year. This place does get packed at lunch time so come early and be prepared to wait just a lil while they don't usually take too too long. In addition to all that the staff is very courteous and the cashier is always helpful. She'll ask you a thousand different questions but she's got the speech down. I highly recommend them

  • Christopher G.

Drove here from Boca Raton, based on a friend of mines referral. Great food, huge selection. Everything is fresh, but 30 minute wait for a half of a sub? 1 person working, and only 4 other people in here, who were already eating. Time is money for me. Took almost as long to make the sub as it did for me to drive here.

    (2)
  • Angie F.

My standard order at any sub place is an Italian sub, so that's what I judge a place by. Since moving out of Miami-Dade County, I haven't found a sub place that was quite as amazing as Cassola's. Jimmy Johns is the next best thing, but even that is not so great. But this Italian sub (menu item #1) is AMAZING. Their subs are huge, tasty, generous with meats and toppings, and on a soft tasty roll. Aside from that, the location has nice tropical decor and is kept clean. However, prepare to wait during the lunch rush. The location is deceiving since that shopping center doesn't have a lot of foot traffic, but apparently I'm not the first to discover this little gem. My husband loved the pizza sub, but would've had the meatball parm had they not run out. The meatball parm must be amazing because they ran out of meatballs at 11:30AM. All in all, very yummy and very reasonable prices.
