Oh my goodness, where has this place been all my life! It's located right on hollywood boardwalk and the outdoor patio has beautiful views of the ocean. Our server was excellent and very attentive. There menu had a great selection of sandwiches, pasta, wings and appetizers. The beer. .. I had a flight and was able to try them all. .. I love them all! They are smooth and creamy with no bitter after taste. I can't wait to come back! I ordered the avocado egg rolls which were good. .. just good. My husband had the wings which he said were okay, they looked pretty good to me. And the fries were massive. All in all it was a good experience and we will be back!

I love this restaurant - the staff is amazing and always attentive and helpful. I have tried many of the items on the menu and they have all been great. Get a great seat outside to watch the Broadwalk and you'll have a wonderful time. Please tell GIO, ANYA and everyone else that I sent you. I Love you guys!

Stumbled upon this place while working in Hollywood a while back. I've never done a review so I figured why not. I Love sitting outside and people watching. Usually not a huge beer drinker but when at a place that's called a brewing company, safe bet to try the beer. I had the IPA which is nice and hoppy. They also make their own schnapps which were absolutely amazing. They have some unmentioned specials, by a 64 oz beer and get a pizza half price and 2 for 1 schnapps Mon-Fri. I've had pretty decent meals before tonight was a little off. Had a Greek salad and some cabbage which were both absolutely amazing. Opted for fish and chips as I'm looking out over the sea. Not sure what it was for fish but it wasn't good, very strong flavor no matter how much tartar sauce you dipped it in. Waitress was really cool asked me if I wanted a box and I said I didn't like it so she took it off the check. The one recommendation I have is the sausage platter which is always a treat. They add gratuity into the check so be sure to check your bill. Most places do around here as its touristy and I'm sure people bail on tips all the time.

This place is great! A variety of home brewed craft beers to choose from - all very delicious! The outdoor seating is on an elevated deck above the Broadwalk, offering unparalleled views of the beach and ocean - great people watching! The vibe is mellow with relaxing music. We ordered the fried shrimp, which has moist sweet and sour sauce and sesame seeds (LOTS of shrimp in the plate) which were very good. We also ordered the guacamole which was good but the chips were obviously out of a bag. The chicken qusadilla was full of meat and served in a crispy spinach tortilla. This was excellent! I recommend this place for a beach lunch - although it isn't the cheapest place on the Broadwalk.

Walked into the place did not get greeted. We sat ourselves down. Guy did not come up to us to say anything he has been sitting there by the door. We had to ask for service. Orders guac dip, guac itself really good chips all broken. Ordered beer that is really good to. Probably would not come back though because the service is bad :-/

Food was very good and so is the great view. Remember, this is a touristy place so food price isn't exactly 'fair' and service is not that great (probably because they're annoyed by all the tourists). Service is not terrrible, just not very good. Would definitely go back.

This is one of the regular spot. Great place to sit and watch ocean waves while sipping on good beer. We usually go for Russian Knight or Hollywood Ale. Plus some good selection of appetizers. ( Norwegian shrimps cooled in beer a must item to try). Oo and the best thing-sip on a beer, walk to the ocean for a swim and come right back for another cold beer. :))) life is good

Food was great. The. Guacamole was one of the best parts. It was chunky and something different for me as i love guacamole and chip. My GF had the wings (good size not breaded which i love) i had the brew master burger which was grilled to perfection and i placed the guacamole on top of the burger. This made the burger pop with flavor. I wish the service was more fast. As i am an impatient person. Oh and the LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THERE BEER! It was amazing. I really loved it. Defiantly coming back for more

Didn't try the food, but beer is crisp and refreshing. Great service, chill atmosphere. It is the beach so prepare to pay for parking. Cute date place if you enjoy trying new things and you like beer :)

The best place in the area for food, drink and a great view! The food is well-prepared and tastes great. The brew is tasty, as well. Excellent service at this elevated eatery, plus people watching. The menu is varied but each dish is prepared carefully. The shrimp wrap, pork loin, marinated cold vegetables, and the house burger are all excellent. Beach wheat is my favorite brew.

I hadn't spent much time in Hollywood; actually haven't seen the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk in decades... not since the days when the Boardwalk actually had wood boards. Today, it's a happening places with vast improvements (and still more coming; although can't say for sure if it's al for the good of the area, but that's a conversation for another time). On this particular day riding our bikes to explore the city we built up a thirst... screw Gatorade or water; bring on the beer. Initially, I was getting directions to the Tipsy Boar but Yelp came up with the Hollywood Brewery (formally known as the Organic Brewery) when I searched for a "beer" place and since we were already on the Boardwalk, we thought "what the heck, let's give it a shot". Plus, they serve food so maybe we'll even grab a bite too while there (can always eat). FIRST IMPRESSION Situated directly on the Boardwalk... huge, outdoor front patio over-looking the beach and ocean. Not too shabby for an Florida view, but not as exciting as the people watching along the Boardwalk (very diverse and interesting crowds). We notice thru the window all the brewing equipment in the brew room... very nice... very clean Inside the place goes for that old European (German) decor... using heavy wood tables inside (possibly same as the outdoors ones. Not bad although that tile flooring feels like a date home. I know Hollywood has some history and much of the architecture remains dated but updating the tile should've been done before opening. LET'S EAT... LET'S DRINK We grabbed a table and began to look over the menu, which had plenty of variety. I was a little surprised that this "brewery" only had 4 beers on the menu. I did find it interesting that they make some flavored schnapps on the premises too (sounds great but I wanted beer at this time). I had some food questions like whether we could substitute sausages on the "Assorted Sausage Platter" and whether certain dishes are made fresh in the kitchen or if they re-heat frozen food like the "Bavarian Pretzel" and "Avocado Egg Rolls". We finished with the menu and waited for someone to wait on us... so we waited... and waited. More than half the patio was occupied and I noticed a couple waitresses taking care of the other tables, so after waiting even longer I flagged one down and she gestured 1 minute and disappeared into the building. We saw her come back out, drop something off at a table and then "another" table flagged her down, asked her a question and she disappeared again. A moment later she returned with something for that "other" table and FINALLY came to us. I made a joke about her having too many tables but I think she understood I was really saying "THAT WAS A LONG WAIT, LET'S NOT DO THAT AGAIN PLEASE". I asked about the food freshness and she said she'll check on that. That got my attention... she doesn't know? I asked about substituting sausages for other kinds and again, she'll check on that. She asked if I wanted a beer and since I wasn't feeling too comfortable with the lack of knowledge and more-than-acceptable waiting time, I asked for a water and told her I'll get beer with the food (of course that depends on the answers to my menu questions). We waited... and guess what... we waited again. ABANDON SHIP Not a big deal but I was surprised with the lack of beer options (limited to 4 in-house brews). Most breweries that double as a restaurant offer alternate beer choices... But it was the waiting time that ruined it for me. And the lack of knowing if substitutions can be make or whether or not the kitchen makes certain dishes fresh pushed us to give up. I have to ASSUME this is not the norm.... actually I have to HOPE this is not the norm here. Unfortunately, first impressions can only go so far.

I give them 3 stars for still being open and trying. The beers have changed since I visited when they first opened (3 years ago) and when I was there about a year ago the beers were totally different then as well. That time they had an English Pale Ale, a lager, wheat and something else. The last time I went there about a month ago after watching a free concert at the H-wood Beach Theater. We sat and shared some appetizers. I remember we had these southwest-style egg rolls that were kind of like the ones they have at Chili's and they were really good. The other appetizers we had were pretty good too. Most of the menu (entrees) is German or Russian food - haven't tried that stuff yet. The food we got was more American-style was actually pretty decent for bar food and service was good also. The beers are not bad, but they are nothing special either. Better than a lot of the places on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk that only serve domestic (Budweiser/Miller-Coors, etc) but I would probably not recommend this place to a craft beer fan over other breweries in the area. I had the "Beach Wheat" which was OK and I tried my friend's Russian Imperial Stout that was a little thin to be an RIS. For craft beer, their selections are limited (4 different beers) and mediocre. That being said, it's the only brewery located on the beach - great location and view - so there's something. I wouldn't go to Hollywood specifically to go there, but if I was already on the beach, then sure.

Yesterday after a bad experience in Hollywood restaurant I headed to this place for a beer.I was extremely happy with the great service, organic fresh beer and also cleanliness of the place.so so so nice I will be coming back even tho I live far.It is just worth it to go drink this amazing beer.A + I can tell that the owners of this place care about it not like other places on the beach that are just a tourist trap.I forgot to mention it was also affordable I ordered 10oz beer and it costed only $5!!!! For FRESH ORGANIC on THE BEACh!! Love it!

Hubby and I went here last Sunday. It took about 5-10 minutes for our waiter to come over (we sat outside so we assumed it was super busy inside). We ordered a Pilsner and a stout. The beers were lacking in the flavor department but weren't bad, like most pre-packaged beer kits. We ordered a pretzel and while we were waiting for it to come out saw the table behind us received 2 burgers. They looked good until the guy cut into it and told our waiter that it was raw and that they were using old meat (he stated he was a chef at a local resturant). He asked to see the manager, which our waiter refused and said the manager wasn't working on the weekends. The other customer couldn't believe they wouldn't have a manager on the busiest days of the week (nor could I). They refused to eat it and the waiter immediately took it off their check. We finally received our pretzel about 10 minutes later and while it was OK it tasted similar to the ones you can buy at any of the supermarkets and re-heat in your microwave. I went in to use the restroom expecting the inside to be packed and there was no-one in there. I had to ask the waitress for a code to use the restroom (they were both locked) and she gave me the third degree about whether we patrons even though she had walked by me 5 times since I sat down. The only redeeming quality of this place is that they are on the boardwalk and have a great view. We probably won't be back.

As some other reviewers said, I'll give this place credit for being a little different from the usual "Pizza and Pitcher" places on the strip. The bartender was busy on her phone when we walked in and it took a minute to get a beer. There was no price list and we were not informed that there was a size larger than a pint for a good price. We ordered the Pilsner and the Stout which were $6 each. Oddly, gratuity was automatically added to our purchase and came out to more than $1 per beer. Our beers were served in nice, cold pint glasses and while not too special, they were both fine. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and looking across the beach, but otherwise, the atmosphere was seriously lacking. Didn't try the food, so can't speak to that. I probably would not go back.

Beers good, foods ok, but I should have listened to the reviews, worst service. Waitress never checked on us. Had to ask for a refill, she threw the bill at us, and after waiting to pay, she continued to walk past the bill as if we didn't exist. Plus they add gratuity so there is no reason for them to be nice to you.

Amazing beer! You can taste the difference between their "no preservatives" brews and other brewery beers. I had the Wheat and loved it! Belgian was also good. Good service. Didn't eat but peeked at the menu and had decent options at reasonable prices.

It's ok. Avocado sliders are pretty good. Husband said the pork shank was okay, po boy sandwich was a little to big and unable to be made into a sandwich, hamburger was dry. Few beer selections which were all pretty good. Bill was halved between husband and our 2 friends and our bill was &50.00... And the place added 20 dollar gratuity which was way to much for a $50 bill. I don't like any place where they take away my freedom to judge the waitress on service.

You can walk up and down the boardwalk and there are literally so many bars and restaurants you can choose from to eat and drink. What makes Organic Brewery unique is that they brew their own beer. Its a big operation, plus their beer is delicious. They offer a good menu and its a great place by the beach to have ice cold organic beer, or two or three.

Really good Pilsner and veggie pizza coated with onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Good service. All this overlooking the ocean on a gorgeous south Florida winter afternoon. We'll be back.

Great place! Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous ocean view, good food, nice music. Especially loved Russian borsch which tasted like home style! Big variety of bear. Syper professional waitress Yana which was very helpful in making up our food choice. Quite and nice during weekdays! Def coming back during our vocation time.

So service was HORRIBLE.....and since when is gratuity included for a party of two!!! Beer was pretty good & the second pizza(after we sent the first burnt one back) was good!

They have a nice elevated deck with ocean view. They make 6 different fomented flavored liquors. I had the cherry vodka with cherries and vanilla. It takes four months to make it on site. Bathrooms require a code.

Could not find anything organic at this "organic brewery" other than the view, very disappointing

This place was great: clean, good quality food and great beer. The wings were meaty the chicken tenders were quality. The pizza was really thin: think a flour tortilla as the base, which was odd. I'd go here again!

This place is truly terrible! They don't have half the stuff that they advertise on their menu. I've never had worst service in my life. The drinks are not very good at all. The beers are terrible, the schnapps were awful.

We came here for a beer while hanging out at the beach. Beer was pretty good for a micro, we had their wheat, but service was less to be desired.

Welp my husband and I frequented this place because of the ladies night 2for1 schnapps. I love the honey line one, not too sweet. I loved the spinach dip and the fresh tortilla chips. The sausage platter is slappy delish too. Then one day the worst happened; I ordered the spinach dip, and they served these dollar store paper tasting tortilla chips with it. Never went back after that.

Sometimes, when dinner hits--all I wanna do is nosh on a patio. The food could be less than important. I want casual, cozy conversation with maybe a delectable beverage (or four). This place... mostly delivered. I will be back to sample from their in-house (and highly authentic) crafted schnapps. But food looked pricey and kind of ho-hum.

I've been here about four times and four different experiences, some good, some bad, some ridiculous. The view is great for people watching on the boardwalk! I don't drink beer so I can't really speak on that, but I can speak on my experience with the food. Twice I've sat down with my family and have been handed the same disgusting moldy menus that we had in our previous visit. I even made mention that they should toss the moldy ones out but I guess they didn't take heed to my suggestion. *shrugs* Can't possibly be hygienic and I'm constantly barking at my kids not to touch them. I had been here twice with my partner and had a pleasant experience. So when we had family in town we suggested this place because the food was pretty tasty. There were 12 of us, and I was mortified when they did not have most of the items that were on the menu. I thought our European server was pranking us when she kept saying in her thick accent, "Sorry, we don't have that." Not having what they initially and secondarily wanted, three opted for the burger......huge mistake. The buns were so hard the literally snapped apart, and two had to be sent back to the kitchen. One had to be sent back three times, and still was wrong! How do you mess up burgers? I ordered the whole fried snapper and it was seasoned perfectly and so delicious I craved it. I felt a little guilty because everyone else was so angry about their meals. :-/ I had to go back to get the fried snapper, the second time it wasn't as good. Craving killed. They do serve large crab legs with lots of meat, I just wish they were seasoned a little better.

Let me start by saying that I was inside at the bar about 3 feet away from 2 servers and the manager(Johny) . My girlfriend went straight to the restroom when we arrived as I looked at the menu options. In the 5 minutes my girlfriend took to go to the restroom not one person asked me if I was being helped . The place had about 4 tables going and they had plenty of employees to run a full house. I went ahead a and gave them a chance to see how good the beer was . I ordered the Belgium style ale . The beer was actually pretty good and that's why I have them 2 stars . Why did t I give them 3? Because the beer was not too cold at all. The couple next to us just left and upset at the service . I think what's keeping this place alive is the fact that they have a huge organic beer sign . Gio was the server that eventually noticed how upset I was and helped us out(he's the reason why I gave 2 stars) . He was the only person that seemed to care about his job . Overall the place is nice but the service sucks and the beer needs to be colder considering your on the beach and people want to freshen off.

Had the fish and chips, brewhouse burger, hollywood pilsner, hollywood ale and mango ipa. Food and beer was good, but could not get menus, napkins, water, or our check without standing up and finding a server.

Good here is amazing but service is very slow. Veronica is the nicest waitress here and fast every other waitress are rude and slow, mostly distracted. Keep it up!!!

This restaurant is a welcome addition to the Hollywood Boardwalk. There are enough pizzerias, ice cream parlors and hole-in-the bars. We were walking to another restaurant when we were lead here by the heavy rain after Fourth of July fireworks. They have an outside deck that provides a prime view of the masses walking, rolling and stumbling along the boardwalk. We ate inside, out of the rain. Inside does not look like much--it was a big room with three picnic tables. The walls are painted in a Bavarian theme. This is when I first realized that this is a German-like restaurant. I can't call it a German restaurant because the menu is all over the place. There is a large picture window from where you can see Heaven (their brewery with the big shinny kettles). I am a fan of smooth wheat beer and I was not disappointed. I found it to be exceptional. We ordered entrees and the waitress gave us the "you really do not want to order that look". We ordered something else and she gave us the "meh, that is at least edible" look. when I asked how the pork schnitzel was she lit up and her facial expression said "you finally made a good choice"...and indeed it was. I was transported back to Munich momentarily until i glance over at the next table to see my neighbors dipping into their guacamole. I also tried the shrimp skewers which were very good. I've seen some poor reviews for this place--maybe they weren't blessed with our honest server. There appears to be a few dishes to steer clear of but my experience was a solid four stars.

We came here for dinner and drinks with friends. I have been here a few times before, but only for beer and chicken wings (both are excellent). This time, we all ordered dinner and no one was really happy with the food. The shrimp roll was bland, and the fries were mushy. The fish and chips were really fishy. The beers are great and the views are amazing, but I will not be coming back for food again (unless I get the wings).

I swear they had to have ordered the food from someplace else it took so long. On the bright side the pale ale was exceptional

This is a German themed brewery right on the beach. You can see where they brew the beers on sight. The seating/view that faced the ocean was so perfect that I didn't go inside. I didn't see any other guests eating dinner; just drinks and appetizers. You can't go wrong with the beer here! Maybe I chose wrong when I ordered calamari because it was a little overcooked, but it had the right spices on it and it wasn't too greasy.

We stopped here for a beer at the end of a long walk down the broadwalk and it was the most refreshing delicious beverage. We didn't have any food so can't speak to that, but the decor is cute & casual atmosphere. We were amazed that the tap is literally piped in from the side room where the vats are...doesn't get any fresher than that!!

I stumbled upon this place while strolling along Hollywood beach boardwalk on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little gem like this -- a perfect place to enjoy the rest of my lazy afternoon. Their beer is excellent! And the prices are very good. And the best part about this place is their excellent beachfront view. I had the wheat beer and tried a little bit of the blonde pal ale. I felt like a light-weight because I could barely get through 2 of their 16 oz glasses. They were strong! And as an added bonus, made with organic ingredients! It was love at first sight :) However, I can't say the same for the food. I tried the fish dip and it was lacking flavor and the chips were stale. I was not too inclined to order anything else after that. So that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. I'll go back for sure and I'll give their menu another try.

Beautiful location right on the boardwalk with outdoor seating, great views. My husband loved the ale. He would highly recommend. Our service was good. We tried the pizza, which was was acceptable but not stellar. The beer and the view make up for it!

    (3)
  • Katie W.

The views are phenomenal, the beer not so much. My husband and I are major beer geeks so naturally we were super excited to check out Organic Brewery. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the beer it is however severely lacking any originality or unique flavors. I would recommend purely because there are few things in life better than having a beer by a beautiful beach! Just don't go expecting world class brews.

  • Nick N.

terrible staff with attitude, went there around 9:30 pm... only 6 people in the place and 3 of them worked there, sat for 10 min with no service. Asked for someone to help us, a female employee walked by and threw a menu on our table and walked away... we walked out

Had the Belgium quad , a little watery but not bad at all, i'd order again The pilsner they had was really refreshing id go back & down a few on a nice day Brews are served in rly nice glassware they need to be for sale Other than that the selection is really small, only 2-3 other drafts on tap..nice happy hour prices tho The inside is like a biergarten, cool setup with tv's..being right on the beach theres no better location for a brewery didnt order food so not sure what the fuss is about it being horrid

  • Liz N.

I like the decor of the brewery, i'ts very "cute". The husband and I came during sat night, we snuck in with some tour bus group and got free tastings of the brews. The wheat is basically a hefeweizen and the pale ale was ok as well. I don't like stouts so I didn't try that one. We had two shots of the vodka schnapps too and they were SOOO GROSSSSS! When I see organic brewery, I see a place to drink beer PERIOD. I wouldn't suggest the food, and neither did our bartender.

Found this place on AA Dining website and it only took a few minutes to walk there from where I'm staying. When I first walked in a latin man that was sitting and didn't look like an employee gave me a very odd/angry stare as I walked to the bar, as if he didn't want me in there. He came to the bar and looked out the window while placing a wet menu saying "here's the drink menu" I asked if there were any lunch specials because I saw some on the website, he continued looking out the window and just shook his head. I might wrong but I usually get eye contact or at least a look in my direction when at any establishment for customer service. I then ordered a pizza from the waitress behind the bar who was way more friendly and inviting. As I waited I tried to get the waitress' attention to order a drink and add an extra side to my order, but she was staring at her phone looking in the other direction so instead I just waited for my pizza, paid and left. As I stated before, it was only a few minutes walk from my apartment. I arrived home and opened the pizza and it was less than room temperature, which is saying a lot for South Florida. Looks like a nice place right on the beach with a nice menu but the staff or at least the staff for that day had horrible customer service. Probably won't go back unless we need some cold pizza close by and I want some AA points. It gets the 2 stars for the location.

worse service ever!!! they completely disegarded us until a white couple showed up and then the bartender who was too busy to attend to a group of five was suddenly available to attend to the white couple then threw the menu at us saying you can order now. Really? We are good. if you are Hispanic or Black dont bother. ive never felt discriminated against until now. south Florida is a melting pot and this place treats people like if its a whites only!!! #disgusted #discrimination #worseservice #ourskincolormightnotbethesamebutourmoneyisjustasgreen

Strolled S on boardwalk, SURF!?, unusual for S FL. Nice steady ocean breeze as sun sets. I do drink beer & wish there was an IPA, Pilsner is nice though! Menus are new, clean & hardly even fold in 1/2 yet! Fun area

We love supporting local breweries but there was something off about this place. They serve food however we only tried the beers so I can't rate it on the food quality. The place has a lot of potential but I feel the staff is whats holding back. You could tell that this staff does not care about the establishment.. They chose to chat among themselves loudly instead of getting to know patrons. They make 4 beers in-house which was a good craft beer (Pilsner). The Stout was also decent. Maybe I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.

I literally stumbled upon Organic Brewery while wandering down the Hollywood Broadwalk last week. I never say no to a brewery and this one was no exception. After a long walk on the pavement in the hot Florida sun with my Mom who likes to complain a lot about EVERYTHING, I was ready for a drink. We grabbed a picnic table out on the patio overlooking the ocean (see photo). The view can't be beat. However, after waiting over 15 minutes for someone to come out of the restaurant and acknowledge us, I thought they might be closed. We almost got up to leave when a waiter came flying out of the door and tossed menus in our direction without a "hello". I was like hmmmm, we are not off to a good start. The food options did not look impressive - just traditional stuff like fish dip, nachos, and stuff that you can find at any Chili's or Applebees. We weren't very hungry so we opted to just try some beer. There are four options: the Hollywood Wheat, German Pilsner, Russian Night, and an IPA. We ordered the Hollywood Wheat and the German Pils. I have to say, I was impressed with both of these. The Hollywood Wheat reminded me of Shock Top or Blue Moon and was garnished with an orange slice. The German Pils was on the lighter side, but that's how I like it. Very crisp and not bitter. After two - twenty ounce cups, I had a very pleasant buzz. My Mom was almost 3 sheets to the wind and I had to cut her off after she became flirty and giggly with some of the lifeguards passing by. They need to hire some more servers because it looked like one poor guy was running around trying to serve outside tables while running a whole bar inside. I would like to come back and try the house-made schnapps. If you want some good fried seafood or burgers, go to Tarks of Dania Beach just up the road or Le Tub on A1A.

Went on Friday for an event. Have to say the brew was pretty good. Pilsner and Knight were the ones I liked the most. Didn't try too much of the food but as they did have appetizers in the event I did get to taste the calamari which was pretty good. Pizza was just okay and the fried mushrooms were okay as well. Can't beat the view either!

This place was great! Though I am prego unable to drink beer, my brother was in town and wanted to visit local breweries and, of course, the beach. So this place was perfect for the occasion. My bro & bf both had the wheat beer and said it was delish. Similar to Blue Moon but much fresher and tastier. We split several appetizers: sweet potato fries with sirachi mayo (omg), loaded potato skins, avocado egg rolls, fried calamari and a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. All were above par. Not to mention we sat outside and enjoyed an amazing view of the ocean. Will definitely be back soon!

The view is terrific, and the beer is quite good. Service was very slow, and the food was mediocre at best. However, I will give it another chance because I love the idea of an organic brewery right on the ocean fronts.

3 stars? 4 stars? Are you guys kidding? The WORST example of a restaurant ever. First of all, everything we wanted was "sold out" on a Monday. Trucks deliver on Monday and stores are open on Monday. You can't manage 4 beers? I have more beers working at home right now. We could smell the fish and chips before it even hit the table. Soggy, nasty fish with dark spots. Fries suck. The burger was a joke. Grossly over cooked and the bun was inedible. The meat fell apart and there was enough onion on it for 5 sandwiches. Again, the fries sucked. The beer is average at best. My home brew is better. Utilize your "professional" equipment. The food is down right awful. We gave them well over a year to work out the kinks and they haven't. And, stop stealing recipes. If you must, at least make an attempt to make it a LITTLE different! Don't waste your time or money here. Keep walking.

Great beer, great atmosphere and great location! Indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the ocean. Pilsner was the best beer in my life. One of my favorite breweries .

I see this place on my daily run, and I have always been intrigued by what would be considered "organic" beer. I now know that organic beer just has organic hops and no preservatives, but it does not mean that is tastes good. My friends and I ordered crafts to sample all four of the beers made at the brewery. None of the beers were positively worth noting, and the Belgium beer was nasty. I get that some beers are to be floral, but the Belgian beer was like flowers and sugar. As a beer aficionado, I tell all to stay away.

Nothing wonderful. The beer was okay but did lack some flavor. Service was okay. Did not order food so can not review food.

Scenery amazing, as for the customer service not so much. Building a positive energy in the atmosphere is key to having a successful business. I have been in the service industry for over half my life. A simple smile and to listen is all it takes to make a customer happy.

fantastic no frills beach front dining with feshly brewed all organic beer AKA Heaven on Earth. I've been here a few times and have been perfectly satisfied both times. They've got a great assorted Sausage plate and excellent beers in 3 handy dandy sizes, 12oz, 16oz, and my personal fav the 32oz. This place has a German Pilsner that quite literally tastes just as good and wholesome as the beer in Munich...if you've been to this place or Munich you'll know exactly what I mean.

Great view of the ocean and the beach. Unfortunately, that is the best thing about this restaurant. They only have 4 beers and were of the IPA (my favorite). The Belgium ale and the pilsner were both fine, but not great. The whole red snapper with marinated and fried vegetables wad very good. Fish and chips were so so. I enjoyed the view and will try another place next time.

Okay first, the beer is good. Second, do not eat the pizza here, repeat, do not eat the pizza here. The kids menu consisted of mac & cheese which I swear to you is the exact same thing in those little cups you buy at the supermarket for30 cents. The other option was chicken strips and fries. I hate to harp on this but I cannot believe how bad the pizza was here. Any frozen pizza, or even any fast food chain would have blown this out of the water. It was so bad I told the waitress that it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. It was overpriced undercooked, and one of those premade off-the-shelf cracker type crusts. The service here was horrendous. I could not get my water refilled, extra ketchup or even a check when I was finally begging to leave this place. Just to add a little insult to injury they tag you an 18% service charge from the get-go. This includes take out beer to go which is about six dollars for a 16 ounce plastic cup. It is simply ridiculous for them to impose an 18% surcharge on a to go beer. After looking around the restaurant it did look like there were a few edible items that they did serve here. However since I was with three kids we opted for the family-friendly option and what a mistake that was. If the owner or manager happens to read this review, I will likely never return to this establishment. The worst service, definitely the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life, and off-the-shelf macaroni and cheese? I only gave you two stars because the beer was good, otherwise you would've gotten one star.

The. Beer. Sucks. Calamari was ok, but then again, anything that comes out of a deep fryer usually is. Watch out for 18% auto grat.

Beer quality has really gone downhill. Their IPA and Belgian style beers tasted very old with almost no carbonation. Shame because about 2 years ago their beers were excellent. We notified the waiter and he removed the beer from the bill. I simply could not drink the beer. I asked to speak to the beer master or brewer but he was not available. They need to do something about their quality control with the beers. They are going stale in terms of freshness and quality. Food - had the pretzel with mustard and it was good. Spinach and artichoke dip was terrible. Tasted like it was previously frozen and warmed in a microwave. I get the feeling this place won't last. I hope I'm wrong because their product was excellent a few yrs ago when they first opened. The Greek Salad was surprisingly good and fresh. Service was good. They have about 8 flat screen TV's inside and always have good sporting events on. I hope this place gets better.

I thought beer price good for local brew. $6 for a 16 oz stout that was delicious was fair for the beach. Also had an unusual schnapps. Weird but good. Didn't order food but people near us did. Looked like frozen bar food from 10 feet away but unsure . Definitely going back for the brew but for a Sunday afternoon it was empty. Hope the place survives! Server was friendly and checked on us frequently!

Ok, so this was probably one of my favorite bar experiences ever. I will elaborate: My husband and I were walking down the boardwalk and enjoying the weather when we spotted this place. We walked in mainly to use the restroom and grab one beer, well that endeavor turned into 3 hours of shots, vodka infusions and delectable beers. Once we sat at the bar, we were told by our bartender that ladies drank 3 for 1.... my mind was blown!! Hubby and I read the beer menu which was filled with their own brews, we couldn't make up our mind so we ordered the little shot glasses full of their 4 kinds of beer. I opted for their pilsner which was a little more complex and really refreshing for 80 degree weather in late September. Since it was 3 for 1 I was basically served a pitcher for myself lol and I loved every bit of it. Not only that, every so often our amazing bartender( I didn't catch her name) but she gave the people at the bar a few shots on the house... it was great. My hubby also got to try one of their vodka infusions, when he helped the bartender get a tool that had slipped under the bar. He opted for a horseraddish shot, which was interesting... a little salty but it would be amazing in a Bloody Mary. But not only were we treated to excellent drinks, the patrons were extremely friendly and out bartender was really funny. We honestly had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back again.

Checked this place out. I read some yelp reviews and was hoping it was better than some of the mediocre ones. I gave it three stars. We sat outside; did not go inside. The view is incredible...right on the beach. The beer was good. We got the chips and guac and sweet potato fries. Food isn't their forte but the view and atmosphere made up for it. This place has potential like some others said, but they're not quite there yet. Chips tasted like stale tostitos so that was a down point. I hope they make this place cooler so I can get blown away next time. I would still go back to watch the ocean and drink beer, but wouldn't come on an empty stomach. Looking forward to next time.

This is a good bet to buy decent fresh brewed beer on the beach. Do not bother with the food and do not expect great service. Order beer, maybe some simple apps - keep it simple they are not trying to do good food here. To me it seems like some Russian money being "invested" and not really trying to be a success. But is a nice addition to the beach scene.

Can't beat the location! Right on the beach! Craft beers are good, full liqueur license and a decent menu. Wish the menu was more creative but it's pretty basic

Being big beer fans, we expected to love it here. Great broad walk location. Food was just okay, not A lot of flavor. Under staffed...one waiter to about 9 tables. Beers were refreshing and organic. Drink here. Eat elsewhere.

The worst restaurant experience I've had! So me and a significant other decided to stop by here after work and the place was completely empty. We ordered a pizza that took more than half an hour to make ( they had literally zero customers and more than enough staff.) so pizza comes out and they forget pine apple on a Hawaiian pizza... Thats like manufacturing cars without engines... To my surprise the waiter argued with me because I told him we will accept it but only if its free, so he took it back to the kitchen telling us that he will " fix it"... Ten minutes later the waiter throws the same pizza on the table and walks away without saying anything. They didnt make a new one, just threw pineapples on the one that was previously made. By now it was overlooked and the crust was too hard. As we were struggling to enjoy this over baked pizza, my fiancé spotted a hair in her slice. Immediately, I brought this to the managers attention and this is where he began his cowardly game with me; First he said that the pizza will be free, so I told him "then bring me the bill, we are done". Then he changed his mind and said that I still have to pay for the pizza but he will make us another one free of charge. I refused, because I no longer had the appetite after the experience and plus my meter was running out. I simply didn't expect the first pizza to take 40+ minutes when there is no one inside. All my attempts to reason with the manager were met with ignorance and insults. He even told me " you are crying here about our pizza. How?! Everyone loves our pizza!". What an arrogant bum! And he kept insisting that I pay him for that failure he called pizza. How can you run a restaurant business when you serve a clearly overcooked pizza... You don't just throw an ingridient that you forgot on a cooked pizza and cook it again, you have to make one from scratch, otherwise it will be over baked. And besides how can the cooks and the waiter overlook something as bright and noticeable as a pineapple? They just didn't care, that's how. But here is when it all changed - all I did was ask him if he had heard of yelp, he replied with a yes, and I followed: " I will post every single detail on there about my experience." IMMEDIATELY his attitude changed from "F you pay me for this shitty pizza!" to Mr. nice and understandable manager. He not only took off the pizza, but offered to make a second one for free and also take off the beer. We took up on clearing the check, but declined the pizza. Not even if I was paid would I eat here again!

Do yourself a favor and just skip this place! I was stoked to find a brewery on the boardwalk. I love trying new beers, the website looked nice, and the location is pretty sweet. It looked ok from the boardwalk but once I saw the dull picnic style tables on the deck I had a feeling it wasn't going to be what I expected, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. All the waitresses were eastern European (I think), which is fine, but they didn't really speak a lot of English and had zero personality. They were out of 1 of the 4 beers they make. WHAT? HOW?! Nevermind. The beer was borderline gross. Wasn't clear and crisp with some form of carbonation as fresh beer should be. I only had one because I wasn't going to force another one down. The food was good. We had the avocado spring rolls (which would've been enough food by themselves), crab cakes (ehhh not bad but not great), and pork shank (really good meat, supporting sides ehhh). There is a hookah place right next door and a couple tables were smoking while we were eating!? Seemed like most of the customers knew the workers and were the same ethnicity. So it might just be there little place to socialize. The brewing equipment is visible through glass windows. Which is pretty cool until you look in there and see the water pump and a vessel leaking. It was pretty dirty, so it's really not a surprise the beer wasn't top notch either since that's how they treat their equipment. Oh and lest I forget, they whack you with an automatic 18% gratuity. I'm a straight 20% tipper, even if the service or food or experience in general wasn't all that. But if you demand 18% for a crappy experience, then that's all your gonna get. While I was sitting there, regretting my choice of picking this place, I yelped for another beer spot and found the Tipsy Boar and Old Hollywood Beerhouse. They look pretty nice.

Not sure why I should care that the owners are Russians (that really seemed to affect Jennifer), although I guess there are benefits to having Russian owners with a beer bar: you also get access to good vodka. I tried the pepper vodka (which they flavor with hot peppers post distillation), and it had a serious kick even more so than when I was having Nemiroff in Ukraine. Everything else: Jeremy said it all. At most, this place has decent homebrews, but is a very welcome change to everything else available on the boardwalk.

Thank you to Organic Brewery for participating in the Hollywood Beachtown Hop on Saturday, March 29. This charity event was a huge success and everyone raved about the wonderful service, beer and food that they enjoyed at the OB! We are grateful for your participation and I encourage everyone to visit them.

These bartenders make a MEAN cocktail and daquiri..delicious every time I have been. They also are constantly having 2 for 1/3 for 1 deals. And great location right on the boardwalk. It's worth it to spend a few bucks here. Ask for Christian, he is the Daquiri-making Master!

This is more of a beer review. Where most brew houses are brewing ales, Organic Brewery brews ales and lagers. The beers are brewed with organic hops imported from Germany (that's all I know at this point) hence the name "organic". The place is owned by some Russian guy named Sergei, which also happens to be the first name of the brewmaster, but they are not the same person. They usually have four standard beers on tap: the pilsner, the Russian Stout, the Belgian ale and a wit beer; but they also have four more seasonal brews or whatever Sergei conjures in his head. You can order them in three sizes: ten ounces for $5, 16 ounces for $6, or a massive, 34-ounce mug o' beer for $11 (by far the best value). Occasionally they have a rice beer for the gluten-intolerant. And they give you 4-ounce samples--for free, which is like getting a free beer flight, which is pretty damn awesome. Oh yeah, the food is good too. They also make their own Schnapps. The interior is mimics the German bier haus style and this place is apparently popular with tourists. It's right on the boardwalk in Hollywood Beach, so the view is fantastic.

WARNING!! This place reeks of unprofessionalism and disrespect. The bartender said extremely inappropriate things to a female in our group about her body as she passed by. Females are NOT SAFE here and are sure to be OBJECTIFIED by the staff. The food and beer is not that great and the service is incredibly underwhelming. Had the bartender not shot off such off-color comments, I would have rated this place 3 stars.

The place is great, they serve freshly brewed organic beer which is brewed on premises. I am not a huge fan of beer, but still was impressed for it is the best tasting beer I've ever tried. As for the kitchen, the seafood pasta is a killer, my friend had steak served with mashed potato and she almost cried how good it was, and their "chef's special" dressing made us addicted to it. Overall, we got a feeling of being important and welcomed. Keep up the great work!!!

The atmosphere and view were great. The food was decent. The beer was below average. Not impressed with their limited selection or quality of beer. It was cloudy and poorly made. Also, the service wasn't the best. The waitress didn't even know what Sailor Jerry was and after I asked for a Captain and coke, I got a Captain and ginger. Homemade schnapps tasted like rubbing alcohol. Could have been better. If there is a saving grace, it would be the avocado egg rolls! But I probably won't go back.

The beer I had (Belgian Ale) was phenomenal. My fiance got the Russian Stout and he liked it, but said mine was better. The view is gorgeous, of course, and the food was actually really good. We ordered potato skins as an appetizer, a personal Brewmaster's pizza, and one of the sausage dishes. The server was ok, not rude, not excellent, but you tend to sacrifice quality service once 18% gratuity is automatically charged regardless of party size I guess. Anyway, for some reason the pizza came out before everything, and he didn't leave it in the back getting cold, which we appreciated. It was just really odd to get your meal before your appetizer, and the appetizer with your other entree. The pizza was delicious. Super thin crust, it was very good. We took the potato skins to go. And the sausage and pretzel were great too. We walked the boardwalk trying to find a good place and I'm really glad we chose this one.

  • Sarah M.

The beer is excellent - but the food is awful and EXTREMELY overpriced. Also, the name "organic" is extremely misleading. Only the beer is organic, NOT the food. I really can't believe how much they are charging for seriously bad food. Come here if you want a good beer on the ocean, but if you order food you will leave feeling ripped off. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because the beer actually was good, and the waitress was nice.

    (2)
  • Tony A.

5 stars because it's the only place on the boardwalk where you can get fresh food pretty much prepared from scratch!. So if you see lots of customers be prepared to wait a bit for your food while enjoying the amazing organic beers!. Best huge shrimps ever had!

  • Thomas P.

Meh. Food was ok. Beer was barely beer. Nothing to talk about, except the view and the atmosphere. Cool service staff, although they were not very attentive because the gratutity is included, so their service effort is minimal. I would only go back if I had no other choice in the matter.

As other reviewers have said, they get points for effort and trying to open a place that's different from what you'll find on Broadwalk that serves decent beer. We tried the Rice Ale, the Pilsner and the Stout. Out of the 3 we liked the Ale the best which seemed to confuse / disappoint 2 of the servers who both told us the Stout / Pilsner were the more well-like beers by other patrons. We ordered the Cornish Hen w/grilled veggies and lamb sausage w/mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were slightly different than expected but good. I thought the bird had good flavor but could've been cooked just a bit more so it was less greasy. The grilled veggies were decent. I think the menu is a bit confusing with the entree options being served in different cooking methods with a grid that indicates whether you can order that option today, in the future, not at all or it was an option previously not available but is now an option. Some of the meats would benefit from a description - for example I'm not sure what I'd expect if I'd ordered the "pork chunks" entree. Service was friendly and attentive, the outside patio is a nice dining spot. Overall the menu seems like cold-weather comfort food, and its a bit at odds with the South Florida climate.

This would be a perfect place for an episode of the Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares :-) I was walking with my friends on the Hollywood broadwalk, looking for a nice restaurant to hangout. Nothing was really good, and I started my yelp mobile app to get some help. This restaurant was given 4-stars, so we thought "let's give it a try!". The service was ok, our Russian waitress was very friendly. Then, the nightmare began... To sum up: their beer is the only decent thing that you can order. Their food is not fresh and seems to have been frozen and refrozen again repeatedly. When our Guacamole ($ 9.00) arrived, I thought I would vomit. I am very surprised that a restaurant can be willing to serve dishes that look like frozen vomit. We then ordered mussels from New Zealand, this is one of their specialties. Again, I thought I would vomit. These mussels were soaked for several days in stagnant water and probably re-frozen again. We complained to the manager, who seemed fully aware and accustomed to the fact that their food is declined by customers and returned in the kitchen. Coming out on the terrace of the restaurant, we talked with other guests who wanted to take a picture of the food and have it analyzed by a laboratory. The night after our meal was very bad for the 3 of us. We were not able to digest and had to vomit the little we had eaten. I've been living 3 years in Hollywood and this is the worst food that I've been served. I advise everyone to keep far from restaurant and be very careful. Unfortunately, I discovered that other customers have had the same experience but their reviews were hidden by the filter yelp. They describe experiences very similar to ours, it's a shame.

Beer had an interesting taste. It was good but almost tasted watered down because of the lack of carbonation. The food was great. We had potato skins and the ribs.

I had the potato skins and pretzel. The skins were not cooked enough, but the pretzel was out of this world good! Everyone at the table more or less enjoyed their meal. Beer was good. Atmosphere sucks and the waitstaff was not good. Went back a day later for takeout and ordered fries and later that day a pretzel to go. Fries took forever then the bartender stood there with my fries while he had a convo with someone. He finally comes up to me and tells me they are out of ketchup. How the hell do you run out of ketchup? When we came to pick the pretzel up they tacked on gratuity. Really?

I'll give them 3 stars for effort. Opening a brewpub on this strip, amidst t-shirt shops and Tiki bars is a bold move. The last reviewer summed it up pretty well. But the owners are Russian, not German, according to the bartender. No one seems to know much about the beers (ingredients, abv, etc). Maybe because its so new? I like the stout. Nothing special about it or the other beers. But it goes down pretty easily. They were saying they had a pale ale on opening night but now call it a rice ale. Either way, it is the beer with the most flavor. A bit odd flavor, but at least it has some. The wheat and pilsner, not so much. Pretty bland actually. They have a very impressive brew system - beautiful brand new tanks, all shiny stainless. Its up front so you can see it. Food is an interesting mix of European and American. Sausages, ribs. Tried something called the sunflower. Basically chopped up ribs, including cartilage. Interesting... I hope they succeed. Good crowds prove that people want something different here. They need to get a good local following. I look forward to a chance to try their other beers.

I loved the atmosphere!!! THEN I LOVED THE BEER!!!!! They make their own beer. Right now they have 4 kinds. AMBER, WHEAT,PILSNER, HOLLYWOOD STOUT! Pilsner and Hollywood are my favorite. They offer food too. Great food, Russian style. The menu isn't big but I loved it. The food is Russian based so don't expect an Ale house menu. I go every weekend.

  • Blue S.

I'm not a beer aficionado, so I can't speak to the quality of the beer. I mainly stopped in for lunch. Odd menu, guacamole and eastern European food on the same menu. I had shrimp steamed in stout- they had little white dots on them like I've seen in old shrimp w/ freezer burn, they had heads on and when I peeled them, there was nothing there- skinny ,tough, really horrible. I sent them back. I do have to say I had a really interesting cherry schnapps- VERY strong, not necessarily my taste, but interesting - they had alot of other unusual flavors as well.

We stumbled on this place the first night it opened. The wheat beer was awesome. So was the pork sausage. We loved it so much we returned the next night. The service was not so good and the kitchen got our order wrong. Bummer. I will return in a month and maybe it will all even out.
